Problem duing activation of form in SFP

Hi,
We are creating a Scenario with Entry using Adobe PDF. When we are going to activate the form in SFP, we encounter the message "Parameter LSM not in version 0253 of tp configuration" (Message no. XT465) that causes the form not to be activated. The message is being triggered when the FM TMS_PM_READ_CONFIGURATION was called during activation of the form. I found out that during activation, the table TMSPCONF is being check with a value of LSM for the field TMSPCONF-NAME which is not existing in the current entries of that table. Is there something we need to do for us not to encounter this kind of error?

No error message as such. It is giving a message 'Maximum runtime exceeded'. And the form is not active.

Its an issue with ADS installation or configuration. Let your BASIS team know about this error with screen print. We had same issue and BASIS fixed it.

Hi Naredra,
did you try to see if the ADS connection is up and running? You can test it from SM59 or better,
try to test a standard form (just run and test inf the SFP transaction). If it works (the pdf form is displayed on the screen) check your form parameters.
The interface should be "Abap dictionary based" and form layout should be "ZCI".

I have developped Interface as well as form .
While Activating Form :-
Its not showing any Syntax Error. Still its not gettng Activated.
What could be the reason ?

1. Checked ADS by executing program FP_PDF_TEST_00 it is fine
2. Installed ADLC 8.2
3. Adobe reader 9 is installed.

Problems with activation PDF-forms

Hi to everyone!
I'm trying to make a simple PDF-form: to print data from SBOOK training table. I use BC480 course. I've already done Interface, Content and Layout, but I can't activate form! No errors were found during Check, but after activation I see message "Action canceled by user" and form remains inactive. I don't cancel any action.
What could it be? Maybe somebody had such a problem?

create a context attribute <xyz>
goto <xyz> -> Properties -> type...
click on the 3 dots "..."
you will get "Type selection"...
choose
Dictionaries -> Local Dictionary - > com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions
-> visibility.... click "OK"
GOTO ur 
interactive form ->properties->visible
click on "..." and bind it to Context attribute <xyz>
whenever you want it the uielement to disappear
wdContext.currentContextElement().setXyz(WDVisibility.NONE);
whenever you want it the uielement to appear
wdContext.currentContextElement().setXyz(WDVisibility.VISIBLE);

Fields missing in Interactive forms in SFP

Hi All,
I am using interactive forms (transaction SFP) for Prsonnel change request in MSS.When i go to this form ISR_FORM_SPEG thru SFP, i realised that come standard fileds like PERNR,ENAME etc are missing ( Generic ISR Table Type) are missing from the context folder of ISR_FORM_SPEG.Any idea how i can bring them back into place??

Hi Aditi,
Go to transaction QISRSCENARIO. check if these fields are there in the characteristics of the corresponding scenario (here SPEG). If they are there, click on the change button next to the form name in the Basic data of the scenario. A pop up message asking you to change the context fields as per the characteristics fields. This gets you to the ALCDesigner. Once the proper bindings are done for the form, exit and lets you go back to the qisrscenario transaction. save the data and also activate the form. <provided you are viewing the standard scenario in the change mode>.

copy this scenario and make the adjustments you need.
if there are some fields in the form that are not part of the characteristics, click on the import form fields button next to the form name. and save it.

Urgent: Problem opening a data form that uses a smart list

Hi, we've got a problem with a data form that is quite unusual.
The data form was working perfectly until yesterday when we put a smart list in it. The smart list is composed of 8 possible choices activated by the following member formula:

Initially we tested the functioning of every different choice in the smart list and it was working properly. After a while we tried again to change the choices combination and we couldn't open the data form due to an error.
It is quite strange because sometimes it work and sometimes it doesn't. In the data form (that is very large) there are many accounts and scenarios that are dynamic calc, in addition to the smart list formula; we tried to open the form two minutes ago converting the data storage type of a scenario from "Dynamic calc" into "Dynamic calc and Store", and it seems to work at the moment... does planning have a memory limit? Can someone suggest a solution (or help us find out the reason)?

PROBLEM IN ACTIVATION OF A CLASS WHICH IS COPIED FROM STD CLASS

I have a problem in activating a class which is copied from the standard class.
std class: CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES
The class has got some protected methods and attributes.
here i'm getting following error whenever i try to activate the class:
1) access to protected method "CALL METHOD" is not allowed.
2) access to protected attribute "H_CONTROL" is not allowed.

i am not sure abt d way u hv coded, but there are some basic stuffs wic need to be taken care of:
1: access 2 protected methods are allowed by self class or its inherited classes. it ca't e accessed from outside class. also protected methods can b accessed from FRIEND class. please use inherited class objects to access protected attribute or methods...
2: also i have found that class implementation or declaration or method declaration can't be done inside PERFORM routines... try to avoid using forms.....

How Create LDAP Group Inside Active Sync Form?

I have an Active Sync form that is working well to synchronize (and slightly massage) data from an Active Directory source to a Sun Directory Server destination.
I need to synchronize group information from AD to DS. It must automatically create groups during the Active Sync processing. It can't be done externally using another scripting language; it must be done within IdM.
I have the following code...

</Action>However with that code inside the <Field><Expansion>...</Expansion><Field> section the group is not created. I've enabled tracing and as best I can determine the code isn't even executed.
I have created resource schemas for accounts[DS].ldapGroups and accounts[AD].groups and that works well. I can read group memberships from those lists. However I can't simply append to those lists to automatically create groups (which would be nice). That's why I've gone down this path of attempting to create the groups programatically.
I've scoured the groups and the course notes and found nothing relevant here. The examples all refer to creating the groups within an interactive form. I'm trying to do the same within the <Field> section of an Active Sync form.

[...]Although the above works well, to create OUs in AD, I have not yet tested its real life application with regards to the initial mass loading of users (from LDAP (auth source) to IdM to AD) and ActiveSyncing. My concerns are two threads attempting to create the OU at roughly the same time, the first succeeds, and second one fails because AD will reply with the fact that the object already exists. The workaround would be to do a recheck of the existence of the OU, after a failure was encountered. This ties into exception handling in general in this approach.
If anyone can contribute exception handling and possibly a create with retries approach, to the above code, I'd appreciate it.

Please check your ADS Conection for your system by Executing Test Report "FP_TEST_00 "
Procedure
   1. Log on to your SAP Net Weaver AS ABAP.
   2. Call transaction SA38 and enter the name FP_TEST_00.
   3. Choose Execute (F8). A dialog box is displayed.
   4. Enter FP_TEST_00 in the field Form.
       This is displayed as the default form name.
   5. Enter the name of the connection to the ADS. Enter the default name ADS, or, if you have               specified another name, the one you are using in your system.
   6. In the dialog box, choose Output in Print Preview.
   7. Enter an appropriate device type in the field Output Device.
   8. Choose Print Preview.
On successful execution of the report, you find the Print Preview of the PDF form

Problem while activating message mapping

I am facing a problem while activating message mapping in IR.It says Object being edited by XXXX and cannot be activated.It's giving my user name itself and even it doesn't allow to go to edit mode even.But I am not opening it twice.How to monitor all the XI users logged into the XI system and find the users using IR and ID objects.Please help in this regard.

Problem in activation of communication structure.

Hi frnds,
I have a problem in activation of comm. structure.
Am on Version 3.5.
Its a master data mapping using flexible update.
So i have mapped all the relevant object in the same order as that of csv source file.
But for 1 field, I have a requirement wherein I should write a transfer routine.
So for that single field i have written the code and ACTIVATED the structure.(I got the prompt that Infosource activated)
But when I saw the infosource in Infosource tab, its in White colour(rathar then green). I suppose this means that the infosource is still not activated.
Please let me know what is the problem behind. And also I am not able to activate the Infosource.

Can you just lemme know what field is that?
i hope its ot an automatic generated field which are created automatically for the amount or quantity fields.
morever if this is not the case then please try to refresh the tree.. u might see the diffrence.
