Problem during conversion

In the attached VI,Iam giving temperature input from a string array,then converting it to binary and again converting to a decimal inorder to display in the thermometer.But while running it is giving incorrect values.what to do with this VI??

again you created a new thread instead of sticking with the original one. I think I recommended more than once to not create double posts. All you do is creating irritated users as others don't know the origins of your VI examples. DON'T CREATE DOUBLE POSTS!!!
You also didn't learn to write good questions: "My VI works fine when Iam entering numbers below 10(Ah)"
What does not work?
Which results are wrong/unexpected?
Which results do you expect?
Can't you give good examples?
Your VI also works for "numbers" greater than 10, for instance "10" (hex) gets converted to 16 (decimal).
The VI is limited to U8 values (00 to FF in hex), which allows 0 to 255 in decimal...

When using "Database utility" on a custom table we have encountered a hard error.
Request "Adjust" - Error in step 2 - see object log and analysis
The object log shows:

The SQL statement was not executed

Could any of you advice on what might be the problem is. Now the table could not be converted as it comes till the adjustment step and fails with ORA-26563

Utilities -> Database object -> Check shows
Database object for ZTABLE is consistent
.... Here it goes on to list the fields of the db table, datatype, length etc ..............
Fields: Consistent with the runtime object
Indexes: Consistent with DDIC
.... Here it goes on to show that indexes are on db......
Also check and display runtime object shows that the object is consistent.
I am not able to understand one thing here, why is it trying to rename the table during Adjust step?
Any more suggestions please

MDMP Unicode Conversion problem during ECC upgrade

hi Experts,
I met a problem when upgrade from 4.6c to ecc 6.
in 4.6c, some key users made some chinese written entries in table field while he/she was logon as English, so, the language field in this entry is "EN" although the actual language was written by chinese, after upgrade to ECC6, we found the chinese words became messy code, maybe it was due to the chinese were encoded by english codepage during conversion, my question is, how can I avoid this? I really don't want this happen in our PRD upgrade.
The second question is: if a field contains both chinese and english, then, which language should it be assigned? english or chinese? I'm afraid if we assign this word as "EN" in vocabulary, then, after upgrade, the chinese part will be messy code.

Hi,
you can either use transaction SUMG (manually) to repair the entries ( you have to add the according table - please check unicode conversion guide for details) or you need to change the language key in the table to Chinese if you want the Unicode conversion to convert the data correctly.
To your second question: If the English texts are restricted to US7ASCII characters ("normal" English without special characters) those texts containing Chinese and English words can (and must !) be assigned to ZH, as US7ASCII characters are included in the Chinese code page.

RFC connection problem during SRM - R/3 integration

Hi,
Our environment is SRM 5.5 server with 2 R/3 backend systems. One of the R/3 systems is in another country. We happen to have RFC problems during the communication between the SRM and R/3 server.

Missing Few fields during Conversion

Hello SAP GURUS,
I have mapped each and every single field from the legacy system to SAP. Now, we are doing the conversion. And the conversion team have few questions such as, in table xxxx the field is missing xxxx. For example, they say Asset Class field is missing in xxxx table and field when they try to upload. How can they mapp Asset class table and field? I don't think it is required during conversion. Because they are using the transaction t-code AS91. Asset Class is a mandatory field right......Once the asset is created it has to be there.....
Also same thing with Depreciation Areas. They say the value is missing for area 02, 03, 11 etc..... I don't think they have to upload the depreciation areas because it would be created in configuration.

Hi,
Firstly for uploading r u using BDC or LSMW, when u upload the data u have to give all the data for asset creation. U can check with in foreground mode. It will shows the error.
When we upload the data system will check all the fields and values in your excel/text file. for example Asset class, without asset class system will not create asset. please check your file.
for depreciation areas is it warning mesage or error message, if it is warning there is no problem in your asset creation.

Hi,
SAP doesn't support item prices larger than 999.999.999,99. This is a limit of the system.
The field has a length of 11 and output length of 16 for the commas and dots. Therefore, values entered in that field cannot exceed the total length of the field.
Increasing the field length of the field is challenging. This would
cause inconsistencies in the existing dataset and more problems in
in Finance modules.
You have to look for possible workarounds to resolve this. You may
choose to split the documents, line items or quantities - what suits
your business requirements best.
You may choose to:
1. Split the line items.
   This is applicable when your company wants to procure 1 single item
   with say 1 Billion value.
   for example:
   Qty Unit       Net price
   1    EA          1,000,000,000.00
This may be cost of one machine or asset.
You may split this into accessories or mountings used for this as
separate line items, so that the cost of the line item will be less
than 1 Billion.
2. Splitting the quantities,
   This is appliable when you are procuring more quantities with higher
   value items.
   For example:
   QTy        Unit        Net price
   1000000      EA          100000.00
You may split this quantity into 250000 EA * 4 = 1000000. With this
you may consider having four line items in the same PO or 4 differant
PO's.
3. Consider using pricing unit.
   If you use currencies in which higher values become necessary, SAP
   recommends to use smaller units of measure (for example "box"
   "pallet").
   For Example:
   Qty        Unit          Net price
   1        Pallet         1000000000.00
In this case you may split this into Boxes. May be the Pallet contains
more than 1 boxes. The net price of the box will be less than
the Pallet.
If your prices is not larger than 999.999.999,99 then please open a ticket in SAP, as this would be a bug and you would need a correction, that at the moment does not exist.

This topic is a bit old, but I have the same problem. My english isn't perfect so I don't understand everything in the pdf guide.
I just started, and I would like to build the Export project, which is in the Exemple directory. (I took the cs6 premiere pro release 2)
I did this part of the guide : "On Windows, to specify where you want the built plug-ins to go, set a user environment variable
(right-click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Environment Variables > User variables)
called PREMSDKBUILDPATH to the desired path (e.g. “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\
Plug-ins\[version]\MediaCore\”)", and I also put the exemple directory on “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\[version]\MediaCore\”.
Then, I opened the SDK_Exporter file with visual studio 2010 (from “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\CS5\MediaCore\Examples\Projects\SDK_Exporter\"), and tried to debug it with the x64 debugger.
I obtained this error : "LINK : fatal error LNK1123: failure during conversion to COFF: file invalid or corrupt"
May someone help me to build this?

Phone shuts off during conversations

Anyone else experiencing this problem - the iphone will randomly click and turn off during conversations - this began yesterday (Nov 30th) and has happende about 6 times today. The firmware is up to date as of Friday - no issues on Fri or Sat.

Clever phone!!! What accent/voice/gender does it have when it reports the failed call? What you're reporting here sounds more like the network reporting to your phone that the caller has lost connection to the network, not that you have!
When the iPhone loses network connection (as opposed to the sender/network simply dropping the call) then you may be lucky enough to hear a click but otherwise you'll just get silence!

"Program files" directory problem during Microsoft Office Customization Installer in non-English versions of Windows

We have a document-level customization solution for Word and are experiencing problems during deployment in an environment running on terminal services. The OS (Windows 2012) is English and Word (2013) is non-English (German).
Installation is done into the "Program Files" folder correctly. But when trying to start a word document linked to the specific template. The "Microsoft Office Customization Installer" pops up with the error.
"There was an error during installation"
From: file:///C:/Programme/[CompanyName]/[Productname]/[Productname].vsto
Downloading file:///c:/Programme/[CompanyName]/[Productname]/[Productname].vsto did not succeed.
Exception: ....
System.Deployment.Application.DeploymentDonwloadException: Download file:///C:/Programme/[Companyname]/Productname]/[Productname].vsto did not suceed. ---> System.Net.WebException: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Programme\[Companyname]\[Productname]\[Productname].vsto'.
---> System.Net.WebException: ...... ---> System.IO.DirectoyNotFoundException......
The problem seems to be that the installer is looking for C:\PROGRAMME instead of C:\PROGRAM FILES. C:\PROGAMME is the German localized name of PROGRAM FILES (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Program_Files).
The installer installs the solution correctly deployed into c:\program files, but when the later a user tries to start it and the Microsoft Office Customization Installer is called, it tries to access the non-existing "c:\programme" folder. This
doesn't exist, because Windows is English.
Is there any thing related to deploying solutions on a platform which has different languages (mixing/matching of OS language and Office language?)

1. First, I would confirm with you whether you dealt with the localization for your document-level add-in?
2. Did you use this way to define the Create a class that defines the post-deployment action part of Put the document of a solution
onto the end user's computer (document-level customizations only) and did you get the path with Environment.SpecialFolder enum?
To handle this, I would recommend you consider using Environment.SpecialFolder to set that property.

Problem During Installation of ECC 6 on Windows 2003

Here I am facing problem during Import ABAP Phase.
It is throwing Error like that::
CJS-30022 Program 'Migration Moitor' exists with return code 103.
After completeing 9 stages, it's getting problem in Import packages and installation get stucked.
My Server is like that:
OS: Windows Server 2003
Hardware: HP Itanium IA64
Database: Oracle 10.2g
SAP Release : 2004s ECC 6
I have configured Java with j2sdk 1.4.2_12:
JRE 1.5 is not available for IA64 .
I reconfigured the parameter "shared_pool_size" (to 400MB)in init<sid>.ora at \oracle\<sid>\database.
Also adjusted another parameter which is "shared_pool_reserved_size" i.e. 10% of the shared_pool_size.
What to do now.
Please send me feed backs.

run 'ls -lrta' in /tmp/sapinst_instdir/.... (whatever the lowest path is there, where all the log files are). You should see something like sap<something>.tsk and sap<something>.log. Look at the most recently updated sap<something>.log file for the specific error. One problem I've seen is that if you configure the advanced oracle config to turn off AUTOEXTEND on the tablespaces, the abap load will bomb because it runs out of space. Also, make sure your SYSTEM tablespace has at least 500M.
Posting the relevant contents of the log with the detailed error description would help us provide a better answer as well.

Good sound costs money. And with a 5.1 system your usually doing surround sound decoding for BlueRay movies etc. for home theater purposes.

Problem during creation of shipment document and shipment cost document

My client facing problem during creation of shipment document and shipment cost document at the time of Batch Job
Delivery no 897654: goods issue on 30.11 at 13:22. Shipment on 30.11 (VT01N).
Shipment costs on 1.12 (VI01).
the problem is the shipment document get created on 30.11.2010 but the shipment cost document get created on 1.12.2010
pleas advice.

Please check the batch job processing log.
As per my understanding, business requires to generate the Shipment & Shipment cost documents immediatley.
However there is some time between the documents creation time. I dont see any issue in the data or problem in the delivery docs Because system will not generate the shipment docs after 1 or 2 days if there is an issue with the data . There must be problem in the Batch Job.
Analyse the batch jobs and timing of the job process.
