Problem during web browsing in nokia E-5

recently i had a problem while browsing the net. Somehow my bookmarks are not showing. when trying to add a new bookmark it is added but when opening the 'bookmarks' nothing showing. Also if i try to add a bookmark which was added before the problem the screen is showing'already exists!' .how can i see my bookmarks again?

I have the same problem. I am using wifi only.
After I hit 'ok' after entering the gmail password, it returns me to the screen where I could select 'gmail' again. why?

What does it say if you want to open the application? I think you should restore the factory settings!!!! If it doesn't work then update your software!!!!

Problem report - web browsing / dowing

while using / downloading file from gprs it will show a error called "disk error - cannot write completely" and it has a option called retry, stop then mabile gets hang.

What is the type of file you are trying to download? Is it occurring with all types of files? Are you trying it to download it on memory card. If answer is yes to all the questions then do this:-
remove the security code (if any) from the memory card - switch off the device - remove the memory card - connect the card to PC using a card reader - open My Computer - Right click on the card in win explore menu to open its properties - select tools - error check - select both the options. From the menu select defragmenter after error check.
2 things to note-
The above method works for Win 7.
Do take a complete backup of all the data especially images as windows error check may make images readable only in phone.

I have developed a report in 10g DS (on Windows XP Machine), running this report on local machine works fine. i have installed 10g AS on windows 2003 server and deployed my application there. Here, If i run on local machine, report output is fine, but if i run it remotely in HTMLCSS format output is completely different than what i have specified. While designing report i have used Courier New,10 font, But in output i am getting Times New Roman 12. In PDF View, output is OK. Only problem is with HTMLCSS format in web browser.
Please Help.

I also face similar problem when moving from AS9i to AS10g.
Using Report10.1.2.0.2. The paper design and PDF generated from report builder looks fine.

How to invoke MIDlet from a Web Browser in Nokia 6230 ?

Hi!
I Would like to invoke MIDlet from a web browse in mobile phone. How to do it ? is it possible ?
Generally I need to send sms automatically depending on the data from a browser. I wish to click a link that will lead to the midlet which would send sms.

As far as I know, BAdI's are user-exits in ABAP and are not exposed, so you cannot call these from the outside.
Perhaps you meant BAPI, which can be called via RFC. There are lots of examples on this topic on SDN. Just do a search and you'll find your answer.

BSP problem in web browser

The tutorial BSP applications are not working in my system at the moment. I have activated all the ICF services and thought that I had set the hostname correctly using the computer's IP address. The message I am receiving in Internet Explorer is:
Following error text processed in system:
BSP Exception: Die URL enthält keine vollständige Domainangabe (192.168.0.100 statt 192.168.0.100.168.0.100).
The address that the page is pointing to is:

FaceTime video not active during web browsing

Hello,
My friend and I are both using MBP (2011) w/ OS Lion, yet when I start to use Safari, my video pauses and is not in the active screen (I have to go back to the desktop screen to see him and my video feed being un-paused). However, when he uses safari, his video is not paused and is active while using safari (he can surf and vid chat at the same time). I can't see what seetings, if any is causing this to occur. Any thoughts?

I think this is by design. I think it occus when Safari is in full screen in Lion. Perhaps your friend isn't in full screen mode.

Could not web-browsing via my N95

Last night, when I try to use my N95 for web-browsing via wireless network, I discovered that whatever how many times I try to click on the "world icon" from my cell, it can't show up the web-browsing mode anymore.
Eventually, I hv tried to switch off my cell, and re-start it again. But still, the problem is still here.
So does anyone have this experience before? Or the only way to fix this problem is update the firmware to V12?

What kind of VPN software are you using on your Nokia N73 phone?
Chances are that you are using:
- SymVPN from www.telexy.com
- or NCP VPN from www.ncp-e.com
- or Nokia Mobile VPN (mVPN) from www.nokia.com
I am successfully using SymVPN on Nokia 5800 for Web browsing, MailForExchange, connecting Intranet and making VoIP calls over VPN.
About your problem with WEB browsing over VPN connection. I saw a comment in FAQ section for SymVPN, saying that for some Nokia phones and firmware versions, users need to make some kind of refresh for web page after first usage of standard WEB browser with VPN connection, after that all should be fine. Probably this trick will work for you too.
Couple weeks ago I have tried Opera Mini over VPN and didn't notice any problem.
On Nokia 5800 I can access VPN Access Point via Destination folder where I keep my VPN connections created in SymVPN. I guess there is no Destinations on your Nokia N73 and VPN Access Point should be available for selection in the same place where regular Access Points are.

About the terrible web browser..

Hi.
I just discovered two problems with web browser. First, we can't open new tabs.
Second, I can't use this board : http://forums.jeuxonline.info/forumdisplay.php?f=189 I don't know how to describe the problem.. When I type, the words don't appear above the keyboard. Then, when I send the message, there is an error telling i typed no words..

N97 update and web browser

If there will be a new firmware, I want to have a better web browser. Nokia web browser errors and says "java object was not found". I want the java finds that stupid objects......

thanksI have NetBeans 3.3 installed, but I don't think it makes such a big difference. Here it is:
1) Go to Tools menu and pick Options
2) In the Options window, expand category called "Server and External Tool Settings"
3) Expand sub-category "Web Browsers"
4) For "External Browser (Windows)" set the property called "Browser Executable" to the path to your browser
Example taken from my machine :
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe -nohome
5) Move to category "Building" (which is at the same level as "Server and External Tool Settings"). Expand it.
6) Choose sub-category "JSP & Servlet"
7) Set property "Web Browser" to "External Browser (Windows)"
8) Close the "Options" window.
Now it should work.

[Solved] Slow web browsing

Hi all, been using Arch for about three days now and I've got an annoying problem I can't find a solution for on my own. Installed x86_64 from the 2012.11.01 iso using the unofficial beginners guide.
My problem is web browsing is extremely slow, for example my homepage(https:www.duckduckgo.com) takes on average 8-10 seconds to load. Web pages with actual content are far slower. Problem is present in both Firefox 16.0.2 and also Midori which I installed to make sure it wasn't a Firefox issue. I've pinged google literally a few hundred times and there's no packet loss with a consistent average time of ~18 ms. Download speeds are as good as they get on my ISP(~390 kbs). I have Mint 13 with an identical Firefox setup on my other HDD and it is working perfectly so not an ISP issue. Also I run my browsers session only so the Mint Firefox isn't working off cached pages.
Using dhcpcd, the IP's it's using in resolv.conf match the DNS servers for my ISP. etc/hosts only has the 127.0.0.1 and ::1 localhost entries. Have a basci ufw setup and switching it off, rebooting and verifying it's disabled has no effect on browsing speed.
Oops, left out it's a wired connection. Only one device and it is properly recognized and set as default. Intel Corp. 82579V Gigabit, kernal driver e1000e.
Bascially at a loss at what to do to resolve this so any help would be appreciated.

Setting the nameserver to use OpenDNS fixed it. Now I need to reenable ipv6 and see if it stays fixed. edit>Was solely a nameserver issue.
Question on the method I used. I added 'nohook resolv.conf' to dhcpcd.conf and created a file etc/resolv.conf.head with the two OpenDNS nameserver IP's. Acceptable method or something that will cause problems later?

System freeze during Internet Browsing

On my Test PC I'm suffering from PC lock ups during web browsing. It affects both Internet Explorer and Firefox, and uninstalling AV or disabling add-ins doesn't help. I can browse fine for a few minutes, but the longest I've gone before lockup is about 10 minutes. Other network activity (ie playing Lord of the Rings Online) has been steady as a rock.
I'm guessing it's a hardware compatibility issue, as if this affected everyone there would be a lot of threads about it.
I saw a thread on another forum : http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/2909-7-freezes-while-browsing-internet.html which interestingly had the same issue, with very similar hardware (same processor, motherboard, sound, and same brand of graphics card).
Anyone else having the issue ?
My hardware - Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, 2Mb Mem, Abit AB9 Pro Motherboard, Nvidia 7900GTX, C: is RAID 0 on Raptors.

Nokia Web Browser N93 problem!!!

Hi,
I have a N93 and I often use it to surf the web, using Wlan. every time I use to open a webpage it looks just like on a desktop browser (i.e. IE,firefox etc.) but suddenly one day I opened google, and it looked very different, just like on my SEk750 (XHTML) (and other pages to.) Can anybody please help me with this, why has the nokia web browser suddenly changed into a wap-browser?
I already tried the master-reset (*#7370#) but it didn't help.
