Grazie e spero qualcuno possa aiutarmi -
Can't open iTunes, keeps getting this error "iTunes.exe - Unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because MSVCR80,dll was not found"
Solving MSVCR80 issue and Windows iTunes install issues.

ITUNES OPENS AND THEN ERROR MESSAGE COMES UP SAYING ITUNES HAS STOPPED WORKING AND THE PREBLEM EVENT NAME SAYS APPCRASH WITH A LOAD OF OTHR INFO
UPDATED QUICKTIME BUT ITS STILL THE SAME, CANT UPGRADE ANY NEW VERSIONS AS IT WONT LET ME GET THAT FAR
ANY ADVICE??For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Error Message: iTunes.exe is not a valid win 32 application
I have downloaded ITunes twice for the shuffle received for Xmas. I got this error both time. Anyone have suggestions for a fix?
Today I was able to download and install. Did nothing different. I deleted the original download and tried today with success

We're experiencing an issue with one of our Windows Server 2008R2 Standard Edition SP1 servers where an Application error occurs at least twice, and sometimes up to 5 or 6 times per day. The following error is what we see. Any help would be greatly
appreciated, and I'll be checking back frequently to check for updates and provide more info whenever needed. Thanks!

ETA: I also ran the wmidiag.exe tool from Microsoft. I saw it as a suggestion on another forum and ran it. I don't know if it has any bearing here, but this is the log in case it's helpful

A Wmiprvse.exe process crashes in Windows Server 2008 R2 when you use the WMI interface to query the hardware status on a computer that supports the IPMI standard
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2280777
I do not represent the organisation I work for, all the opinions expressed here are my own.
This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
I saw this in my googling. Listed as the cause on the hotfix page is the following: "This
problem occurs because the Ipmiprv.dll module leads the Wmiprvse.exe process to crash. This behavior depends on certain hardware sensor types when the sensor is enumerated." The
faulting module for that hotfix is ipmiprv.dll, and our faulting module is ntdll.dll. I'm thinking that this hotfix isn't applicable, but I'm open to hearing why I'm incorrect if I am.

Upgrade to 7.1 -- iTunes.exe installed as second copy of iTunesSetup?
Similar question to the ones posted below. I have successfully downloaded and run the 7.1 "iTunesSetup.exe" application, but cannot seem to get the music-player application to launch.
My problem is not that I can't locate the new "iTunes.exe" application -- I can find it easily (it was installed to the same folder as the Setup application). The problem is that every time I double-click on the "iTunes.exe" file, the Setup application launches. I also note that if I right-click on this file and select "Properties", although the file name is listed as "iTunes.exe", the Description is listed as "iTunes Installer".
So, I think the problem is that Apple has simply mis-named the iTunes.exe file, and that this file is actually an incorrectly-named, second copy of the Setup application, rather than the music-player application. No idea how to fix this, other than hope that Apple wakes up to the problem and gets the correct file into the download.
Does anyone know if Apple monitors these posts?
PC Windows XPFixed my own problem. I noticed that I still had the Installers to a few of the older versions of iTunes (7.0, and 7.0.2) in various directories. I manually deleted all Installers (including the new one I had just downloaded for 7.1), and deleted the incorrectly-named "iTunes.exe" file. I then re-downloaded the Installer for 7.1. Ran it, and it installed what seems to be the correct application file for iTunes.exe, which now launches and seems to be running as it should.

Crystal reports 2011 - Application error crw32.exe
Hi,
I hope that I'm posting in the right section.
We use Crystal reports 2011 on one of our servers but are experiencing a number of application errors to do with the software. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find out if there are any specific activities on the server which are generating them.

Thanks for reading.
Regards,
DonHi Brian,
Thanks for your help and advise.
Crystal has been running on the server for some time (over a year) but hasn't been 'managed' until now so am looking at all of the issues at present.
We haven't seen a pattern when the errors started though.
Unfortunately the only errors I think relating to CR are the ones in the original post. There are other errors, particularly to do with printing, but I think that they these are due to the TS sessions which wouldn't run Crystal. See below.
The print spooler failed to load a plug-in module C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\tsprint.dll, error code 0xc1. See the event user data for context information.
I am assuming the users are fine when they view the report then; scrolling through pages. Yes, I believe so.
Yes, there are no locally attached printers on the server so the users rely on their remote session sharing the printer.

When I click on the iTunes ikon I get a box pop up which reads Problem with shortcut. The item iTunes.exe that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly.
My computer which is a packard bell vista operating system, recently stopped working as the power supply overheated and blew up and it has recently been sent back to the Know How team at PC world and it seems to be since it came back I now cannot open iTunes. I have also tried to search for iTunes in the search bar, I can see several files, but can't seem to open any of these either. I think that quicktime isn't working, either.
I have over 4000 songs in iTunes that I had recorded from my collectiong of CD's am going to loose all these now? Can anyone help, with very easy instructions as I really don't know what I am doing??
ThanksI would copy over the entire thing if you have room. With iTunes 10.4 though, you can download any previous iTunes purchases you have made in the past with your current iTunes account. While in iTunes, look at the left hand side of your screen and select "Purchases" and look at the bottom right corner of the screen and select "Download Previous Purchases". If you have an iPhone, iPod and/or iPad...you can do the same thing from each device. Nice new feature...just remember that those ripped CDs need a back-up!!! Enjoy...

I worked with Microsoft Tech Support for 4 days and ended up doing a clean install of Windows 8. I had been told by Microsoft that they would escalate me to Tier 2, but they called back and said it was an HP/Hardware issue and I would have to
work with them. Chatted with HP, they said it was an OS issue.
Anyone have any thoughts?
DanHere is the dump file. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Each time I try to synch photos from my Windows7 PC to my iPad2, iTunes stops working and the error message is:

I reloaded iTunes 10 (64 bit) successfully, but the problem remains the same.
Any suggestions?I looked in the folder from which I want to synch photos, but there is no such thing as an "ipod photo cache" in that folder, or sub-folders, as suggested in the link which you were nice enough to provide.
I have also tried removing photos from my iPad2 Photos App, and "iTunes has stopped working" shows up again as soon as I click on the "Synch photos from" button. -

Even if you don't have any third-party plug-ins or add-ons, try opening iTunes in safe mode as per the instructions in the following document:
iTunes: Troubleshooting issues with third-party iTunes plug-ins
If iTunes opens in safe mode, quit iTunes and then try launching it again normally. Does it launch without the error messages this time?
