Problem faced while opening the Manage tab of DSO

Hi All,
I am trying to open the manage tab of the DSO to activate the request to load the data, But it is throwing the ABAP error when ever I am trying to open the manage tab.
The error message is some thing like this " Short text of error message: |

Step1
Go to tcode SE16 and query the RSODSACTREQ table to find all records where the DATAPAKID > 0 for the DSO you're trying to manage and delete all of those records. This should leave records that have a value in the DATAPAKID = 0.
Step2
Query the RSODSACTREQ table again, after the deletion, to find all of the records where DATAPAKID = 0. Change the value of DATAPAKID to 2 for all of these records.
After completing these two steps, you should be able to manage the DSO.

I am facing problem while opening RDF in oracle 10g.
I follow the next steps.
1. Open the RDF in 10g.
2. Open the PLL in report builder and compile that PLL and save in same path where report located.
3. reattach the library with RDF.
4. Close the RDF
5. Reopen the RDF and facing the error.
6. REP-0756- unable to open attached............
7. I set the report_path in Registry also where PLL exists
Please give me the solution for this problem

I am also facing the similar issue in reports 10g, I am keeping the .pll file in my local machine say c:\me\reports\xyz.pll. When I am opening this pll, I am getting the error REP-0756 though the path 'c:\me\reports\' is added to the REPORTS_PATH. Your suggestion resolved the issue.

Recently we Updated our DPM server to DPM 2012 r2 ru2 from ru1. and after that every time we open the management tab in the console it crashes with the following error

We have updated the dpm agents on all of the servers that we back up by installing the update on the servers manually and according to the data in the DPM database it has acknowledged that they are indeed updated.
From what I can tell from the errors is the console is attempting to read the updateprotectionstatus from the database and it is not returning a value and thus causing it to crash. but I have no clue as to where this might be in the database to even
check if it simply missing from an update gone wrong.
I did notice that the update attempted to install twice through windows update and failed. The update does show as installed under installed updates in programs and features control panel
Any help on this would be appreciated as it does make it difficult to manage our dpm server

See if this is relevant.
1. Take a DPMDB backup.
2. Open SQL Management studio and connect to the DPM instance.
3. Expand the DPM database and go to the table tbl_AM_Server.
4. Edit the table, and under the "ServerName" column check for the DPM server name. It should be the FQDN. If it is the NetBIOS name then change it to the FQDN.
5. Try re-opening the DPM console and navigate to the management tab and see if that works now.

I have a problem when I open the new tab. Normaly, I open the new tab as click mouse in button near to last page. " new tab" appear with untitled page. But now , It always appear with web sites wich I don't like. So, How can i repare this problem ?

The table CONTACTS_PGRANT_NOV22 has got a column of type CLOB. We are exporting in the metadata only mode. Interestingly when we are exporting only this table individually, we are not getting any problem. Please suggest at the earliest.

I need to take full export of the database with out data and for all schemas. Can you tell is below syntax correct or not:

if I use above syntax I am not seeing all schema names in log file during expdp as we see in exp option.

Problem facing while Enabling the disabled component in the client side.

I have a input text component as below

Initially this component is rendered as disabled. When user changes a value in the DropDown next to it, i invoke a javascript where i enable the abv text field.

Now user types a value in the city text field and Submits the form.
In the action method of the managed bean, i found #{addressbean.city} is always empty. ( i am not able to retain this value in next page )
Can anyone explain why it is happening? could you please help me how to resolve this ?

You need to enable it at the server side as well.
So, either use Java/JSF instead of Javascript (if necessary with some ajax flavor for better user experience) or let Javascript pass a hidden input parameter and let the 'disabled' attribute rely on it.

Problem faced while configuring the domain configuration in WLS 10.0

Hi all, I am trying to set up a Weblogic server 10.0 web application development environment in which we use persistence store, jms server, jms system module, subdeployments and jms system resources. when i configure everything and activate the changes, i get weird exception. but, i could not figure out why it happens. this is the exception

It says weblogic.management.DeploymentException: The persistent store "limJMSPersistentStore" does not exist. but it is configured in the domain when i see in console. After that all the resources to jms system module also throws the below exception

reason is weblogic.messaging.kernel.KernelException: The Messaging Kernel limJMSServer has not yet been opened. The deployment failure of the "limJMSPersistenceStore" - jdbc store was the root cause. I use "limjms" prefix for this persistence store.It was not able to persist because of the data present in the "limJMSWLStore" table in the db schema. when i deleted all the rows and committed. then, restarted the server. Everything worked just fine :). Thanks!

The report excecute for current month.
Forecast values have month starting day to ending date.
Actual values have month starting date to the present day(system date).
According to client requirement in layout, i have to show shipmentforecast(day) and shipmenforecast(cumulate) from month starting date to ending date and shipmentactual(day) and shipmentactual(Cumulate) from month starting day to present day(system date).
shipmentforecast(day) and shipmentactual(day) comes from cube, based on that i created shipmentforecast(cumulate) and shipmentactual(cumulate) using new selection and in properties i selected cumaulte, apply to the result, cumulate along rows.
while cumulating, shipmentactual(cumulate) is showing corect cumulate values from month staring day to present day(system day), after present day it showing last cumulate value ( present day value) by default to remaining days.
Even i am restricted the Actual(cumulate) with a customer exit variable( month starting date to system date ), still it showing last cumulate valye to remaing cells ( after present day to end of the month)
i should not get this.
In rows i taken 0calday.
in columns i taken Key figs which are
1) shipmentforecast(day)
2) shipmentactual(day)
3) shpmentforecast(cumulate)
4) shipmentactual(cumulate)
5) gap(cumulative) is calculated as ( NODIM ( 'Actual(Day)' ) <> 0 ) * 'Actual(Day)' - 'Foreseen(Day)' and properties i checked the cumulate.

Opening a new tab in safari opens an untitled tab while replacing the existing tab with top sites

When I open a new tab in safari, it opens an untitled tab while replacing the existing tab with top. Then if I have other tabs open, the website url of the page I was on before I opened the untitled tab freezes and is shown on each other tab.
How can i fix this problem? It is starting to occur with increasing frequency.

I had the same problem and I suspect you are using Glims. I uninstalled Glims and voila, problem gone. I reinstalled Glims and the problem returned.

Problem while opening the PDF

Hi All,
Iam having an issue while opening the PDF-Attachment in which iam sending it as attachment to the mail.While opening the PDF iam getting the error that "Aodbe Reader could not open the document because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged(for example,it was sent as an email attachment and was'nt correctly decoded)".
The function-module "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1" is getting use to send the attachment.
First iam converting the internal table data into PDF and then am sending the mail with PDF-attchment.

Even i had a smilar problem. The reason is perhaps the data in internal table doesnt get converted into PDF corectly. In my case i had to convert into PDF and download on local machine. Attching below code for it.Maybe u can get pointers to your problem.

You installed a variant of the "VSearch" trojan. Remove it as follows.

Can someone please tell me the reason behind this error? When I save my interface, it does not show any errors and it works fine when executed. Due to this error, I have to re-create my interface over and over again.

Has anyone found the cause/fix for this issue? Im getting the same problem. The previous post is a good effort, but useless since i cannot get to the Mapping tab (where the error button is) because im getting the error whenever i try. Im using the same version (ODI 11.1.1.3). I think its related to a model im using because i can recreate the problem by dropping the specific model into the mapping source along with any other model. I've reverse-engineered the model several times and it isnt fixing the problem. Ideas???

System error while opening the timesheet through Portal

Hi Experts,
I am getting the below error message while opening the timesheet through Web Portal. But I am not getting any error if I book time through back end i.e. CAT2 Transaction.
System error: No receiver could be determined
This error comes in Portal only (not in backend) once I enable "HR Enables CATS" option in Data entry profile through CAC1 transaction. There is no error if the same option is disabled. But we need this option to be enabled.
Can anybody help me ASAP for the same?

Error Message "Error while Opening the Document"

Hi Friends,
I have a problem while opening the SFP transaction and Clicking on the Layout Tab the SAP System is giving an error message saying "Error while Opening the Document".
I have tried testing on several systems like IDES, ERP, Retail systems. But it is giving me same error. Is this the problem with ADOBE LIVECYCLE DESIGNER?
And when I click on the Performance Assistant it has given me some information:
Error while opening document
Message no. SOFFICEINTEGRATION143
Diagnosis
An error occurred in the desktop application while opening a document.
Friends can you help me in solving this problem.

Pradeep,
Maybe Live Cycle Designer has not been uninstalled correctly from your system. So goto the following lcaotions and remove the Designer folder if you find them:-
C:\Program Files\Adobe
C:\Documents and Settings\<your-username>\Application Data\Adobe\
Alternatively try installing Live Cycle Designer on some other machine in your network and see if you encounter the same error.
