Problem: File overwrite issue

After upgrade to OS X Mavericks, I have noticed a problem.
When I tried saved an attachment from Apple Mail to a folder that already have a file with the same name, it won't overwrite it.
Is it a bug or a known issue?
When can it be fixed?
Below is what I did:
1. right click the file in Apple Mail that I want to save
2. choose Save Attachment...
3. choose my destination
4. click Replace
But the file was not overwritten, but if I drag and drop file from Apple Mail to th folder, it is fine.

Apple never respond here. It is a user to user forum. You will have more chance sending your issues to them at the correct link.

  • Problem in Overwriting SHIP-TO-ADDRESS at itme level.

    Hi Experts,
    We are facing problem in Overwriting SHIP-TO-ADDRESS at itme level.
    Issue : Item level ship to address cannot be overwritten when item and header shipping is same.
              if   item and header shipping address different then item shipping address can be overwritten.
    Can any one  help me to solve this issue.?
    What are all  the function modules  / BADIs used  for handling the shipping address..?
    Regards,
    Murugan Arumugam.

    Hello Murugan,
    Sorry for the late reply, but changing ship-to party address at item level is standard behaviour in the B2B webshop. Yes, there was a bug in CRM ISA v4.0 when a change to the header level ship-to party address didn't flow through to an already available item ship-to party address but only to newly added items. This was rectified in newer versions of ISA / eCommerce.
    Cheers,
    Ashok.

  • Server 2012 SMB 3.0 file cluster issues with Streaming media services 2008 R2

    So I have a file server setup with the always available feature turned off on this brand new cluster. Everything seems to function normally and I can hit files from the shares no problem.
    My issue I built a brand new 2008 R2 machine and created an on-demand publishing point to point to my 2012 file share cluster. I created a windows account for my windows media service to run as and applied read only to my video share. Media services see
    the video files on the server in the GUI so I know its got connectivity, but when I go to test locally or externally it will not play the stream at all. It complains of access even know I know that is not the issue. I have verified the setup and the ACL
    stuff is turned off on both the root and the publishing point. I can login to the Media server as my service account and play files from the share no problem. IIS media services can stream the files with no problem and yeah everything seems more like something
    possibly with SMB 3.0 and something in media services.
    I have a country rule where my data is not allowed in other countries so I have multiple video services on a domain with tunnels and what not my US Streaming services is working great but has a server 2008 R2 file cluster server. If I take that one to my
    out of the country publishing point to test it streams great as they use the same services account. If I take my out of the country file share to the US I get the same result just will not work. I have poke prodded and banged my head and since I get this result
    I have concluded it must be something with the new security of SMB 3.0.
    Does anyone have this working or tested? Also I am using the exact same video file to test all of this. Or is there secret I missed to either make smb 3.0 even more compatible or make streaming services play nice.
    Anything helps please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Adam

    I'd recommend calling in for support on this one.  Things aren't adding up.  Probably the most useful thing to do would be to do a network trace of the WMS server connecting to the remote server over SMB.

  • Recording File Size issue CS 5.5

    I am using CS 5.5, a Balckmagic Ultra Studio Pro through USB 3.0 being fed by a Roland HD Video switcher. Everything is set for 720P 60fps (59.94) and the Black Magic is using the Motion JPEG compression. I am trying to record our sermons live onto a Windows 7 machine with an Nvidia Ge-Force GTX 570, 16 GB of Ram and a 3TB internal raid array (3 drives). It usually works great but more often now when I push the stop button in the capture window, the video is not proceesed and becomes unusable. Is it a file size issue or what. I get nervous when my recording goes longer than 50 Minutes. Help

    Jim thank you for the response. I have been away and busy but getting
    caught up now.
    I do have all drives formatted as NTFS. My problem is so sporadic that I
    can not get a pattern down. This last Sunday recorded fine so we will see
    how long it last. Thanks again.

  • E4200V2 file corruption issues

    Hello,
    I am getting file corruption issues when doing a file transfer onto the NAS (hard drive plugged into the router). Files are turned into folders while keeping the same filename. It happens occasionally.
    I have firmware: 2.1.39.145204 installed.
    Any remedy for this as it is a very serious problem.

    The only known solution is to call linksys and ask them for a replacement router model that does not contain the bug. See thread link for details.

  • PS CS3, Camera Raw 4.6 Update and Nikon D810 NEF File Reading Issue

      Currently Have Photoshop CS3 & Adobe Bridge CS3 2.1.1.9.
    According to Adobe, Camera Raw 4.6 supports Nikon D810 NEF files.  I have downloaded Camera Raw 4.6 Update. When
    I try to open Nikon D810 NEF files, I get Photoshop CS3  error that says
    "cannot complete request your because it is not the right kind of
    document. These NEF files wont open in Adobe Bridge at all.  What am I doing wrong?

    Hey,
    Before I purchased, let me get your thoughts on another option that just occurred to me which involves:
    1)Editing my D810 NEF files in LR 5.6, which I have, then exporting/saving the edited files as JPEGs.
    2) Doing any additional editing, as necessary (i.e. that might require layering or selections..etc) , with the JPEGs  with Bridge or PS CS3.
    This method wont involve any additional software purchase now.. right?    Am I missing anything.   here?    Since my final output to my customers are JPEGs any way, wont this work?   Will I be at any disadvantage.   Am I missing anything.   here?

  • How to problem solve adf issue in the mx340 model

    how to problem solve adf issue in the mx340 model

    Alex,
    the missing thing in your example is the fact, that if only one value is selected, the parameter has exact this value like BOSTON. If you choose more than one value, the parameter includes the *'*, so that it looks like *'BOSTON','NEW YORK'*. So you need to check in the package, if there's a *,* in the parameter or not. If yes there's more than one value, if not it's only one value or it's null.
    So change your package to (you need to expand your variables)
    create or replace package bip_departments_2_parameters
    as
    p_dep_2_param varchar2(1000);
    p_loc_1_param varchar2(1000);
    p_where_clause varchar2(1000);
    function beforereporttrigger
    return boolean;
    end bip_departments_2_parameters;
    create or replace package body bip_departments_2_parameters
    as
    function beforereporttrigger
    return boolean
    is
    l_return boolean := true;
    begin
    p_where_clause := ' ';
    if p_dep_2_param is not null then
    if instr(p_dep_2_param,',')>0 then
    p_where_clause := 'WHERE DNAME in ('||p_dep_2_param||')';
    else
    p_where_clause := 'WHERE DNAME = '''||p_dep_2_param||'''';
    end if;
    if p_loc_1_param is not null then
    if instr(p_loc_1_param,',')>0 then
    p_where_clause := p_where_clause || ' AND LOC IN ('||p_loc_1_param||')';
    else
    p_where_clause := p_where_clause || ' AND LOC = '''||p_loc_1_param||'''';
    end if;
    end if;
    else
    if p_loc_1_param is not null then
    if instr(p_loc_1_param,',')>0 then
    p_where_clause := p_where_clause || 'WHERE LOC in ('||p_loc_1_param||')';
    else
    p_where_clause := p_where_clause || 'WHERE LOC = '''||p_loc_1_param||'''';
    end if;
    end if;
    end if;
    return (l_return);
    end beforereporttrigger;
    end bip_departments_2_parameters;

  • Installing Multiple Custom Resource Providers - Overwriting Issue

    Hi everyone!
    I am working in a POC environment for WAP.
    My current situation is the following:
    I am experiencing what seems to be an overwriting issue since the extension of the custom resource provider installed last always appears while the extensions of previously installed custom resource providers disappear from the WAP management portals.
    How would I go about installing two different custom resource providers in WAP so that their extensions may co-exist in the left navigation pane in the management portals? Although I know I can just declare multiple extensions within the same resource provider
    to achieve a similar result, I would still like to know how to correctly present multiple co-existing extensions using two different custom resource providers in WAP.
    Thank you!

    If you are getting this only first time, you should look at all the global registrations done (like navigation view model etc.) to see if you are somehow ending calling this up twice and the dataset accumulate it. When you navigate to some other page and
    comes back, the data fetch is happening again and it replaces the old duplicated dataset some how. With everything happening async, it is a bit tricky to debug this. Try to match the code with the provided samples and see if you can find something different.
    One time I have seen this issue consistently happening for tenant. It was happening when I had two subscription on that tenant for the same RP, and the RP code was not filtering results based on subscription. So the same information was returned twice.

  • Adobe Edge CC 2014.1 .js files overwrites html content

    I created animation .js files on Edge 2014.1, made a static HTML file in Dreamweaver where I have DIV’s with content (text or image). Example <div>DummyText</div>.
    But Edge CC 2014.1 .js files overwrites DIV’s content. In browser DIV doesn't have text. Old version Edge CC works fine.
    Is it a bug or very nice feature?

    How are you inserting the Edge animations into Dreamweaver html page?
    There is a proper way to do that. See @ http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/import-edge-files.html

  • Captivate files overwriting previous files in LMS

    I have a professor that has created quizzes in Captivate and saved them as SCORM and uploaded into D2L.
    Each quiz is a separate SCORM package that he uploads individually.  Unfortunately, every time he uploads a new one, it overwrites the previous one.  No matter if we tell D2L to overwrite the previous file or not, the new file overwrites the previous one.
    The quizzes come in to D2L always with the Module Title of “Captivate E-Learning Course” and the quiz title of “Course Object title”, even though the file names are different.
    I believe it’s due to the imsmanifest file referencing a generic title “Captivate E-Learning Course” and in another instance “Course Object title”.
    How can I change this info without going into the SCORM files and manually changing them each time?  Thanks.

    You are correct that this information originates inside the SCORM settings within Captivate.  There's a button in the Quiz Settings dialog to open another smaller dialog where you configure the Course ID and individual SCO IDs plus other details that will be written to the imsmanifest.xml file that is output with the SCO.
    You need to set this up in Captivate in the CPTX project file each time you create a new SCO.
    Since you're working with a professor, I would assume he or she is intelligent enough to do this for you...once you point it out to them.

  • I am having a file moving issue with Adobe Reader XI

    I am having a file moving issue with Adobe Reader XI on a Windows 7 32bit system. When Adobe reader is set as the default program for PDF files moving files from one directory to another takes over a minute, regardless of the size of the file. When the default handler is set to another program, like Nuance or PDF Creator, this is instant. What in Adobe Reader is causing this and what can I do to speed up file moving? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    I am using Windows 7 home edition and using Internet Explorer 10
    The PDF's are online on websites that I am trying to open.  Both on the site as well as trying in a new window.

  • Windows Update Helps with File Size Issues?

    I'm just wondering if anybody has recently noticed an
    improvement related to the file size issue variously reported
    throughout the forums?
    I ask because our IT folks distributed a Windows update on 2
    days last week and since the application of those updates I have
    not experienced the freakishly large file sizes and the related
    performance issues in Captivate. Unfortunately I don't have any of
    the details of what patch(es) were installed, as it was part of our
    boot script one morning and I didn't even realize it was updating
    until I received the Reboot Now or Later alert.
    Anyway, I was curious because I have experienced significant
    performance improvement since then.

    If you are using a remote workflow ... designers are sending off-site editors InCopy Assignment packages (ICAPs) .... then they need to create assignments in order to package them for the remote InCopy user. So there's no need to split up a layout into smaller files or anything.  An assignment is a subset of the INDD file; multiple assignments -- each encompassing different pages or sections -- are created from the same INDD file.
    When the designer creates the assignment, have them turn off "Include original images in packages"; that should keep the file size down.
    Or -- like Bob said -- you can avoid the whole remote workflow/assignment package rigamarole all together by just keeping the file in a project folder in the Dropbox folder on teh designer's local hard drive, and have them share the project folder with the editors. In that workflow, editors open the INDD file on their local computer and check out stories, just as though they were opening them from a networked file server.
    I cover how the InCopy Dropbox workflow works in a tutorial video (within the Remote Workflows chapter) on Lynda.com here:
