Problem finding WordService for Contract Generation in SAP E-Sourcing5.1

Hi,
I'm currently deploying Contract Generation Web Service in SAP E-Sourcing5.1/CLM 2.0 SP02. The problem is that I can't find WordService software which is mandatory for adding XML Schema in MS Word. In the instGuide it says that the installer is on the distribution media but we downloaded the packages on the SWDC. I know that in SAP E-Sourcing 5.0, WordService was in the patch C but for the release 5.1 I have no information. Do you know which SP or Patch contains WordService?

Additional query : I'm currently adding a KM/TREX server for index clauses and agreements documents. Are the "draft" documents visible in the Esourcing repository (In KM Content Management and also in CLM Content Search)?

OK, I'm going to find a MS Word 2003 Pro.
For the windows update, I was just updating my OS, so rebooting and so on.
I test to modify the prefixe of the repository in the KM but now I can't access to the data source of my indexes (java exception). I think the "/" is mandatory, It's written in the label ... In TREX admin tool, I see my KM indexes, and I try to parameter again the scheduling of the queue. I schedule it every 5 minutes.
Now I have to reboot the system that the modification of the repository take effect. After I modify the scheduling of the indexing for every data source (like you said).

Problems finding drivers for late 2008 MBP Windows xp 64

Hi,
I'm having problems installing drivers for Windows xp 64 bit pro. The main problem is that i have lost the leopard install disc that came with the mac. As far as i know the drivers located on the leopard install disc 1 are compatible with Win xp 64?
Does anybody know where i can get a complete list of all the correct drivers to download? I've been doing trial and error driver installation for about 1 week now and getting really upset that i have not been able to resolve this issue.

yes, Vista 64-bit is supported on some MAcs. See here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1846
Also Applee sems to have released newer versions of the retail Leopard Installation discs, which include Vista 64-bit drivers http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1999

Problems finding drivers for Satellite A100-313

This is my first post since i got Toshiba Satellite A100-313 (PSAA9E) yesterday. It had windows media edition in german language. Since i can't understand german i installed WinXP pro with SP2. With laptop i got toshiba recovery cd but it doesn't help (with drivers). So i was browsing web and find chipset drivers on intel's page version 8.1. I installed it but many of components aren't working (wireless, sound, bluetooh and VGA card.) I can't find right drivers. I have GeForce7600, but when i try to install nvidia's driver it says: The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. So i went on this page:

Well, there are no nvidia drivers, so please please help me.

I presume that A100-313 is a low number of peaces series and probably only series with NVIDIA graphic card. I presume that download page is not up-to-date yet. Try to check this page from time to time.
By the way: when your unit is preinstalled with recovery image, there is an option to create own Tools & Utilities CD with all drivers you need for further installations.
I presume you didnt do this. Am I right?

User status profile for Contract block in SAP SD

We have a business requirement. Let me explain this first.
Requirement is that every contract which is created by any user should be blocked. Some authorized users can release them. Sale order can not be created until the sale order is released.
Once the contract is released it should allow to create sale order. But after releasing contract if there is any change in quantity or net value or payment term etc. It should go in block status again and again those authorized user should release it for further processing.
I have done following things so far.
I have created status profile Z_SD_CON and assigned this in contract type in VOV8. I have also created "Authorization Key" Z0000001 and assigned in user master. But when i crated contract type CQ. It gave me following error.
Status profile Z_SD_CON is not allowed for "Sales order header"
Message no. BS020
Diagnosis
Status profile Z_SD_CON may not be used for object type 'Sales order header'.
Procedure
Use another status profile or allow the use of status profile Z_SD_CON by object type 'Sales order header'.
Please suggest.

Hi,
You can control by defining various Statuses (Individual status of an object) . Once you selected the check box in object type come back and select each status and click on details (f2) now click on New entries (f5) system will show you the Business transactions. Here you can give the Influence and next action for each business transaction.
Like this way you can define en number of status profiles and assign to your document types as per your requirement.
TIP:
1.Authorization object for status profile is : B_USERSTAT
2. you can define the authorization groups also (t code:BS52) to assign against each status
The above both you can assign in user profile (role) ask your basis people to help on this.
Example: Suppose if you defined authorization group as Z123 & assigned against REAL status. Then the user who have the authorization for object B_USERSTAT & group as Z123 can only release the sales order.

Problem finding driver for Canon iP4500 for network printing

I'm using a DLink DPR-1260 as a print server which I share between OSX and Windows boxen. I've installed the appropriate Canon iP4500 drivers on my Mac and if I attach the printer directly via USB everything is good. However, as it's a shared device I'd prefer to access it over the print server. The problem is that I can't get the Canon drivers to appear when I use it in that mode; all the regular Gutenprint options appear but that doesn't include this particular model. I'm guessing that Canon has written them such that they only work when directly connected, but is there a way around this?

Problem finding object for Custom Object Test

I need to create a custom object test that tests whether a an element is present after a record gets inserted into the database. The script is databanked and each iteration needs to insert a databanked record, then evaluate my custom object test to make sure the record was inserted. The trick is in writing the expression that finds the correct custom object. After one iteration, this is the code that finds the custom object;

Instead of always grabbing the object whose text is "Category D", I want to grab the object whose text is <<category>> (ie retrieved from a databank file). Search in the href or index isn't helpful because these will change with each iteration through my script.
I tried to modify the GetElementByPath to this:
RSWApp.om.GetElementByPath "window(index=0).link(text=dbValue|)", element
where dbValue is a local parameter that I set earlier on. When I run this, I get an object not found error.
Any ideas?

I much prefer to use RSWAPP.om.findElement. It is much more robust than FindElements. 
RSWApp.GetDatabankValue Is what is needed anytime you want to return Databank values to the VBA environment 
 
Your code should look something like the following: 
 
Dim dbVal as string
 
RSWApp.GetDataBankValue "MyDbVariable", dbVal 
 
This will return the contents of "MyDbVariable" which is defined and bound in the databank wizard to VBA variable dbVal. 
 
You can then use DBVal in your path:
 
RSWApp.om.GetElementByPath "window(index=0).link(text="" & dbVal & "" | href=""javascript:OpenModal('DocumentCategoryAddEdit.aspx?documentCategoryId=377','400');"" | index=19)", element 
 
If you decide to use Find elements instead of GetElementByPath, the syntax would like the following: 
 
Set element = RSWApp.om.FindElement(dbVal, "A", "InnerText") 
As you can see it is much simpler.

Contract Generation question: Formatting, Numbering of clauses, variables

Hi!
I am trying to create a Contract Document Template (for Contract Generation) with Variables
I created some Variable Collections, but when I link them to the Contract Template, they add on with a different formatting altogether, which is neither like the placeholder in the template nor like the template attached to the variable.
My variable configuration was of the type Paragraph.
If anyone has any helpful tips on formatting Contract Document Templates, it would be most appreciated.
Also, how do I ensure that numbering of sections and clauses is sequentially made in the final Contract.

Problem in Contract Generation

Hi All,
I am facing problem with E-Sourcing application.
when we upload any word document in system it gave below error.
There is problem with contract generation web service.
But contract generation web sevice is working fine.
When searched for this got following troubleshooting steps ( which are basic steps)
Steps for troubleshooting:
1. Log into the "System" login for the specific customer.
2. Go to System Properties.
3. Look for the property called "contractgen.serviceurl".
4. Copy the whole URL in this property (ends in asmx)
5. Open a new browser and paste the URL from step 4.
This should open a WordService page. If you get a page not found error, then the service needs to be restarted.
My WordService page is opening. Hence no help here.
Next step is only to Create CSS message to SAP.
But before that if anyone had encounterd this problem before then please let me know how to proceed here.
Also when restarted WebLogic server, in C:/fci/logs we can fingd one error as follows.

There is a clause in the note for the error mentioned by you. There is a solution where SAP can help you if yours is a hosted environment.
If yours is a On-premise,you can restart the Contract Generation Webservice, due to some bad data going thru
Download the note, you will find the details that I have mentioned below
Problem statement
Question: There is an error that states "There is a problem with the
Contract Generation web service. Please contact your syustem
administrator
Solution
This error indicates that the contract gen server is not running. This can
happen when bad data is passed through the server. The operations group at
SAP can restart this for you. Contact Support to have this initiated

I double checked it. This table stores all the date types of one order transactions...
The relationship is as follows..
CRMD_ORDERADM_H- guid = crmd_link-guid_hi
crmd_link-guid_set = SCAPPTSEG-APPL_GUID.

you should try with FM: CRM_DATES_READ_SINGLE_OB or CRM_DATES_READ_DB.
There is something in table SCAPPT and SCGENAPPT.

I can tell you where the pricing records are saved, replicated from ECC.
The data from ECC table Axxx (e.g. A304) is replicated to CRM table
CNCCRMPRSAPxxx (e.g. CNCCRMPRSAP304).
Here you can find fields TIMESTAMP_TO and TIMESTAMP_FROM.
About the dates: what Sreekantha Gorla stated, about table 'SCAPPTSEG' is correct.
What might help is to execute program "CRM_ORDER_READ". Here you can find
the relevant entries also.

Select * from SCAPPTSEG where APPL_GUID = guid_set.
as from the table scapptseg has some unusal fields which fields to select to get the start date and end date and on what condition and isuppose we need to convert als the same

SAP CRM Client Problems or dependencies for Z Nodes

Hi Experts,
I am getting output successfully in my development client. But when I transfer the request from development client to testing client I am getting error mentioned above.
However after copy the request from development client to testing client, I am able find the changes in testing clientu2019s SAP GUI (component workbench-configuration).
I created enhancement for Z field creation. But here Standard or default configuration or Custom configurations are not showing Z fields when I click on u2018show Available Fieldsu2019 link. But those Z attributes are appearing in View Structureu2019s node. However these attributes are not generating methods. (I posted this question with subject u2018CRM 7.0 (BSP_WD_CMPWB) problems u2019)
To overcome the issue I created Z node with BOL entry.
Now I am able see my Zfields in Z node at configuration.
I added and I did some coding for event handler.
I am getting an error on browser(after copying the request from deve to testing client) given below

An exception has occurred

Just to chime in the most common issue when going beyond dev to test with CRM webclient UI is making sure your enhancement set is assigned to the client in test.
Now please keep in mind you have to maintain BSPWDV_EHSET_ASG specifically in each system instance because you can't transport entries(client is not the key of the table !!!).
This thread here explains that I even found this frustated and a pain when I first started with CRM webclient UI. It proves that even moderators are mere mortals lol.

Problem creating a sales order for configurable material in SAP ECC

I have a Variant Configurable material named X.
The structure of this VC material is
Material X has charatcertics CHARCTERISTIC1 and CHARCTERISTIC2.
CHARCTERISTIC1 has values VALUE1
CHARCTERISTIC2 has values VALUE2
I created a sales order manually from VA01 using configurable material and read the values of all configuration tables to be filled from BAPISDORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST. With the help of this data i got an idea how to fill the tables of BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2. But still i am able to create a sales order but the configuration data that i give is not getting populated in the sales order.
Where am i missing. please some body suggest. I am unable to debug and searched the forums
for this information but dint find solution for my problem. some body please tell me where am i missing?

Even after maintaining the item category MTAC(Mills Make to order config at mat level), the configurable material is not getting replaced in the sales order (va02). It is just showing material variant exists for the configurable material.
The setting in item category for configuration is.
Config. Strategy 01(Sales Order Strategy (TAC, TAM))
Mat. Variant Action 4 (Replace configurable material (Append and change))
ATP material variant 2 (Do not substitute if not completely available)
Structure scope D (Configuration, poss. with BOM explosion)
I have maintained the stock for material variant as well to take care of ATP material varinat setting shown above.
Please suggest if missing something.
