Problem getting 16:9 content to play correctly on 4:3 TV
I've searched the forums for this problem, but I haven't been able to find anything. I apologize if this has been asked before.
I recorded video with my MiniDV camcorder in 16:9 and I imported it into iMovieHD as DV Widescreen. When I play back the DVD on a widescreen monitor, it plays great, but when I play it on a 4:3 screen, it stretches the image. I would like the video to playback on a 4:3 TV with letterboxing.
Is there a way to burn 16:9 video content so that it plays fullscreen on a widescreen TV and letterboxed on a 4:3, or do I need to burn separate DVDs?

How can I get my ES2 loops to play correctly? I keep getting the message that the audio is not found when I drag the loops from my audio browser even though they play fine in the preview.
It's exactly as I stated. Whenever I try to drag these kinds of loops (ESX24 / software instrument loops? the ones marked in green with the white music note next to them) from the loop browser into the timeline a message comes up saying Audio Not Found for that loop. And a new track is created automatically when loops are dragged into the timeline, so I'm not creating some other random / synth instrument track so I'm not sure what the deal is... But perhaps I'll try creating a software instrument track first and then drag the loop into that track and see what happens - maybe there's something with the default settings that automatically creates audio tracks whenever loops are imported?

I can not get my i-tunes to play correctly, problem with library I think.
I have had this problem for a really long time and I don't know how to fix it. I can open my i-tunes but when I click to play a song it freezes up and says "i-tunes1 not responding." the only way I can get i-tunes to work is to go into programs and repair it.
I think it is a problem with my library, because I have a folder named i-tunes with my songs in it and a folder named i-tunes1 with my i-tunes library and i-tunes media folder in it. There is nothing in my i-tunes media folder. I have tried consolidating my library and stuff but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?How many computers do you have authorized to use your Apple ID. There is a limit of 5 computers. Mobile devices are counted differently from computers.

Problem getting Adobe TV videos to play
I'm having considerable difficulty getting most (but not all) Adobe TV videos to play. I'm using Windows 7, PSE 9. So far as I know I'm using the latest versions of Adobe Flash Player. I have both Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X version 10.3.183.7 and Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin version 10.3.183.10. The video comes up from a link in the Adobe help file. The three large dots flash but the video never begins. I've tried the start button at the bottom of the black video screen but nothing happens. I normally don't have problems with videos playing, but a number of them don't play on Video TV. Does anyone have a solution or suggestion what I might do? Thank you.

This will add a new menu at the top.
Go to the Develop menu, User Agent and select a different choice which allows Safari to spoof different browsers, OSs and devices.
Selecting Safari for iPad usually works.
However, the choice is page specific. it doesn't stick if you go to another page, you need to repeat the procedure again. -
Problem getting images in ePub to appear correctly for Nook
I have been working on a book that is about 250 pages long in print format, with about 350 photographs that illustrate the text, which is a guide to the use of a particular digital camera model. After watching Anne-Marie Concepcion's course at Lynda.com and also using the book by Sandee Cohen and Diane Burns, Digital Publishing with Adobe InDesign CC, I was able to export the book successfully in ePub and mobi formats. The ePub looks fine in iBooks and the mobi looks fine in the Kindle apps. But I have not been able to get the images to appear properly when I preview the ePub for the Nook. I have tried every combination of export and conversion settings I could think of, but the images either look too large and distorted as if squeezed, or, if I use the CSS Size-Fixed option, the images look tiny, much too small to see details (though they will expand if clicked on). I eventually uploaded it through Nookpress.com to see if their conversion would help, but the book recently went on sale there, and when I downloaded it to check, the images did not appear at all. The same thing happens when I use the Preview function at the nookpress.com site; the screen shows broken link icons for all images.
I cannot think of anything else to do. Can anyone provide me with any suggestions for how to proceed, short of hiring an expert? Most of the images are 1800 pixels wide and roughly 1200 pixels tall in the InDesign document, with a resolution of 600 ppi. As noted above, I have tried all different combinations of the Use Existing Image for Graphic Objects, Preserve Appearance from Layout, CSS Size-Fixed, CSS Size Relative to Text Flow, and others, with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That was helpful. I ran the file though Epubcheck and it did find various errors. I have replaced that file with another file that does not result in errors, but does generate a lot of warnings, all about having image file names with spaces in them. I'm assuming that's not what is causing the problem with the way the images display. The file that is in the Dropbox folder now is one that does show the images, but they appear distorted and too large when viewed on the Nook app on my Nexus tablet, but they look fine when viewed in iBooks on my Mac. Dropbox - Panasonic Lumix LX100 Version for Nook I'm hoping there is some general information available about how to format images in an ePub so they will display properly on the Nook.

How do i get my itunes videos to play correctly
i updated my itunes to 10.7 and now when i try to watch shows i downloaded from itunes they will play for a little while then the video will freeze and the sound will cut out and several seconds later it will start playing from the point in the video it would have been at if it never froze
i have a hewlett-packard presario CQ56 notebook pc on windows 7 home premium with an AMD V140 processor 2.30 GHz and a 64 big operating system if that helpsTo clarify, this is a problem happening on my pc laptop. I have Windows Vista. I just tried re-installing iTunes with the latest download version and that hasn't fixed the problem either. I will log off and back on once and see if that helps. Not sure what other information to provide to help me with this issue.

Problems getting vCAC 6.2 to work correctly. Security related.

I am setting up a quick n dirty VCAC 6.2 test lab and am hitting a problem that has been annoying me for a good few days and I hope someone can help. To give a bit of background I did the following to set up the infrastructure (above and beyond having a working vCenter 6 installation)
Installed a SQL 2014 standalone box and IAAS box using Window 2012 R2
Installed the authentication appliance.
Installed the VRA appliance from OVF
Installed the Orchestrator appliance
All were installed from latest available on VMwares website. I then installed the pre req script to configure the IAAS pre reqs. Then installation went through ok (Although it took a while ) The problem is when I come to login I keep getting errors about connection broken/resets.
Looking in the IAAS event viewer I get the following error:
An TLS 1.2 connection request was received from a remote client application, but none of the cipher suites supported by the client application are supported by the server. The SSL connection request has failed.
I understand that the issue is more or less related to the fact that the encryption type is not supported. So my question is.. What is the easy and straight forward to fix this ? Crypto functions are not my forte!

My problem seems to be setting up the interface. I can set it up to run manually - using ifconfig and iwconfig but it seems I can't load the network on startup. I keep getting this response form the startup network script :
Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device rausb0 ; Network is down.
I have to run manually each time :
[root@fort etc]# ifconfig rausb0 up
[root@fort etc]# iwconfig rausb0 essid mikahome
[root@fort etc]# dhcpcd rausb0

Having an issue where some birthday dates in my contacts appear as a different date in my iCal. One day before infact. Most are fine but three are incorrect. Seems to be all involving dates in the 20's. Have tried editing contacts but to no avail. Have read about syncing but because most are correct I am not sure about this. Very perplexed! The contacts dates are all correct.

I have a new laptop with Windows 8 as operating system. Installed latest version of iTunes ontop computer. I can play music in My Library but when I click on iTunes, I get the message " iTunes has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify if a solution is available."
Anyone know what is the cause and if there is a resolution? Have tried to re-installing iTunes and have also tried restoring laptop to an earlier date.iPad not appearing in iTunes

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Problems getting text content of text node?

I am currently somewhat puzzled why one of the simplest parts of my code doesn't work. I am trying to get the text content of a text node (XmlValue.getNodeType() correctly returns TEXT_NODE) in Java, but what I get is always the text of the entire document retrieved from the database (no matter what text node I consult in the entire document!). Is this expected behaviour? The method I am using to retrieve the data is XmlValue.getNodeValue(), but playing around with other functions didn't show any success either.
So my question is: what am I doing wrong here? I hope someone in here can help me with my rather stupid problem :-)

This code executes a simple query and then dumps the first text node of the first retrieved document. As stated before the System.out.println() call dumps the text of the entire document (including <?xml...?> at the beginning and so on) though.

Getting a message, "A problem has stopped PS Elements from working correctly."
I just installed PSE11 on my new Windows 8 computer. (I had previously run it on my old computer with Windows 7). The icon flickers when I open PSE11 and then I get a message, "A problem has stopped Photoshop Elements from working correctly. Windows will notify you if there is a solution to the problem." I never get a notification about a solution. Any ideas?

Problem getting correct data from MS Access after doing an Update

I have a problem getting correct data after doing an update. This is the scenario
I am selecting some(Eg: All records where Column X = �7� ) records and update a column with a particular value (SET Column X = �c� ) in all these records by going through a while loop. In the while loop I add these records to a vector too, and pass it as the return value.
After getting this return value I go through a for loop and get each record one by one from the DB and check if my previous update has actually happened. Since No errors were caught while updating DB, I assume all records are updated properly but my record set shows one after another as if it has not been updated. But if I open the DB it is actually updated.
This does not happen to all records, always it shows like this

All of a sudden my iTunes stopped working, and I get the following error messages:
1. the program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem
and
2. iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126).
Now I've checked the forums and followed the advice of uninstalling all Apple applications, rebooting, and reinstalling iTunes.
This is not working. I've tried installing as Administrator but doesn't make any difference at all.
There must be a way to fix this? I'm not a tech geek but I want to avoid having to take my laptop back to factory settings to sort this out.
ThanksClick here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
