Problem getting wi-fi to work. please help me.

Hi,
In my home, I have AT&T/Bellsouth DSL internet service with a download speed of 1.5 megabits and a Belkin wireless router. I have never had any problems whatsoever in getting any device to work with the network. I currently use two laptop computers, and stream Sirius internet radio over it. Well now with my new iPhone, it doesn't work on my network at all. I can connect my iphone to my network, it shows that I'm connected with a strong signal with all 3 bars on the icon on the screen, though I get zero internet usage with the phone. I went to the Apple Store yesterday and it connected to their network just fine and I had blazing speed, so I know that there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my iPhone. Would someone please help me? I would greatly appreciate it.

Okay, I now have a solution. I found this information in another thread. I implemented it, and now my iPhone works on my network.
"After reading many posts with many helpful suggestions:
I was able to make my iphone work on my home wirless connection by choosing from the main screen
"settings" then "Wi-fi" then under "Choose a Network" I selected my home network (Belkin) (little blue arrow at the end) then under "IP Address" I chose the "static" button clicked on the "DNS" numbers and entered the the DNS addresses of my router as shown on the summary page when I logged on to my router from my home computer. As for how to log on to your router and find your DNS addresses refer to your router documentation. I tried many of the other solutions and this is so far the only way I could get a connection to actually work. It would always show the strong network signal on my phone but would not be able to connect to the internet and find the server. Like some others who have posted, until this solution I was able to borrow a connection from my neighbor with no problems but his router was a linksys. Hopefully Apple will be patching up all these issues soon.
I have no idea if this solution is permanent or even a good idea but it worked for me. Your mileage may vary. I do love the phone."

1. 'Blackberry ID

Close or Update'
2. So I click update, then this is what it says;

'The software upgrade was interrupted. Please try again.'
'Close or Retry'
3. I press on retry multiple times, but nothing happens. So, I give up and press the escape button. Then this pops up;
'Blackberry ID installation failed. Please try again later. (80002)' So then I press 'OK' and it brings me back to the homescreen.
Please help me, I've been trying to search for a solution for two days all over the internet, but no luck.

My Creative Cam wont work properly in MSN Messenger! I cant get the effects to work PLEASE HELP!

When I open the webcam centre everything works fine I can get all the effects...BUT when I open messenger (MSN) I get a good picture but when I open the effects window I cant get the effects to work in there.... I had the exact same issue but finally after much reading found that the Advanced Video FX utility must be activated first, then open the Web Cam Center.
On the upper left side just above your image is a Device Selection box. You may not redily recognize it as such.. Click on the down arrow just to the left of the Format tab and select the "Creative WebCam(With Video Effects)". Now try the effects. This did the trick for me. Hope it works for you!

I can not get my iTunes to work, please help

ok when i click to open itunes, i get the window asking me whether or not I agree to the Itunes software license agreement. I click agree and then i get an error message stating that "The itunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occured [-48].
Can somebody please help me or if anyone even knows a number i could call for support regarding itunes, i would greatly appriciate that.

Can't get EJB injection to work, Please Help!

I'm new to EJB 3.0, so I tried the "sample" EJB 3.0 stateless session bean sample from Oracle for JDev. (I'm using JDev 10.1.3.1.0 bld. 3984), very simple stuff:

What am I doing wrong?
I read all the threads here and no one seems to have problems w/ the provided sample, I even did a fresh re-install of my JDev with no help.

i have a wrt54g v8 i have a static ip my desktop works perfect with the router but my labtop wont connect to the internet i have 5 bars of signal i spent 2hrs trying to work it out with linksys and still nothing any help would be very very nice thank you all

When you said you have a static IP, I assume you mean a static LAN IP.
1) What static IP address are you using?
Also, in the computer, temporarily turn off your software firewall, including Windows Firewall, and see if that helps.
Some firewalls are difficult to turn off.
If you are using Zone Alarm, right click on the ZA icon in the system tray (lower right corner of screen) and then click "Shutdown ZoneAlarm", and see if this fixes your problem. If this does not work, try the following with Zone Alarm: Open the ZAISS control center, go to Privacy, then temporarily turn off Ad Blocking and Cookie Control, and see if that fixes your problem.
If you are using Noton Internet Security with the Add-on Pack, be sure to turn off the Pop-up Blocker. Some users have reported that they needed to uninstall the entire Norton Add-on Pack.
If you still have trouble then please detail exactly what you are doing and exactly what you see on your laptop when you are trying to connect. For example, on your computer, can you see a list of other wireless networks in your neighborhood? can you see your network listed?

Cannot get Ipad MINI to work PLEASE HELP BADLY

So basically.
Mail and Safari would open and close automatticly so I went to do a back up restore from YESTERDAY.
No difference.
So I do a factory reset but I can't. WHY NOT? Because the 2 cords I have now do NOT WORK AFTER THE RESTORATION.
They don't work in the charger either and I have barley ANY battery health left.
So I look up what else to do?
Use the stupid find my iphone app to wipe it and I did.
IT is stuck at the spinning wheel forever, I even reset it and did it again and it has been going for liek 30 minutes at the spinning wheel and last time I looked at it like an hour ago it had 16% health left. It IS plugged in just in case some miracle happens but yeah.

If your device is restored with iTunes and it still couldn't, try to restore on another computer. If that doesn't work, then your iPad most definitely will need service. Reinstall iTunes on your computer and see if that helps. If you are doing Erase all Contents and Settings (same thing as erasing on iCloud) and are stuck on the spinning wheel, it is a side effect of jailbroken. So is Safari and Mail crashing on startup. Anyways if you aren't Jailbroken and I was wrong, then I apologize. Try to buy another another cable or borrow a friends. If your computer does not restore still, then try another computer. If that computer does not work, then most likely your iPad will need service.

Because you used a reluctant quantifier in ".*?", the negative lookahead gets applied immediately after "navRelId/1000.1001" is matched. And it immediately succeeds because the "resource_type_etc." substring doesn't appear until later. After that, the final ".*?" is free to match the rest of the string (but doesn't actually match anything; see below for the reason why).
Lookaheads are slippery; you have to be careful and make sure that (1) they get applied at the right position, and (2) they don't match to much or too little. I accomplished the first goal by making sure the lookahead is always and only applied right after a slash, and the second by anchoring the regex to the "/seo.serve" at the end of the URL.
By the way, you should never use a reluctant quantifier at the end of a regex. If you're using the matches() method to apply the regex, making the quantifier reluctant has no effect except maybe to slow down the match slightly. If you use find() or lookingAt(), the quantifier will always match the minimum number of times allowed, which is zero in this case.

If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

I live in South Africa, and I had the same problem with my iPhone 4.
After weeks of frustration and swearing, I was in the process of restoring my phone to a previous iOS. To do that you need to turn the "Find my iPhone" option off, since i turned it off, my problem was solved. No need to repair anything or revert back to old iOS.

Welcome to the Apple community.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.
