Problem in activating change lists

hello every one,
here i am new to XI. i am doing some R&D regarding the activation of IR objects. At first i can see all the objects including the software component version created under one standard change list. i just tried to activate the software component alone. on the next second it created another change list giving some error. please any one guide me how to overcome this problem.

When you add name space into your software component version, you have to activate three objects first:
The Modified SWCV
Two default fault data types.
If you do not do above first, then you created other objects, you won't be able to activate all of them once.
You still need to select three object I mentioned in the list, activate them first, then activate other objects later.

is there a way to have a CTS+ transport automatically activated after transport?
Problem is that change lists of the transport user get overlooked. We would like to automatically activated everything after the import of a CTS+ transport.

we created a transport with a right mouse click for a complete namespace and transported it to the target system ESR/IR and Integration Directory. It had to be manually activated (Change list of the CTS+ User)
That is what we want to skip.
---> Now when I write this I remember that this is a "feature", you guys are right -- sometimes you had to check your comm channels etc. and make these specific changes..
Right?

Activation of the change list canceled Error Message

I am getting the following error message every time I try to Activate or Test my message mapping :
Activation of the change list canceled Check result for Message Mapping bww2jb_activate | http://bww.bit.com/card: Mapping not sufficiently defined
Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Hi Andrew,
You have not mapped some of the mandatory parameters in your mapping and tried to activate it. so it was giving you that error. So map all the mandatory parameters ( all the fields with Red bulb), save and then activate.
This will solve your problem. kindly assign points if this solves your problem.

Error while activating the object from change list in IR

I am trying to activate a mapping object taken from History.But I am getting error "version management was unable to execute the last action because temporary internal lock has been set" while activating from change list.

Hi Suresh,
have a look at the integration builder start jsp. There is a Link "Administration". On this page, on the left side, you can click on "lock overview" and check if your object is locked. Then you can remove this lock.

Activation of the change list canceled

Hi Guys
I am doing the SOAP to FILE Scenario using BPM when I activate my Integration Processes (Soap_to_file_BPM ) i get the below error, on my IM the source is "yonela_ob_mi" and the target is "yonela_ob_mi_AS" which is my abstract.Then on the Transformation step my container is Abstract Interface. This "yonela_ob_mi" interface I am using on my message mapping
So what am I doing wrong

Thanks for ur assistance its working the error is gone, I only needed to make both my Interfaces to be Abstract as u suggested.
Only one error now when testing on sxmb_nomi I get the bellow error: What I want to do is to split flat file and send it to my ftp server (InBound) folder.

Sharepoint 2013 online - Site problem - Recently changed list

Hi All,
I'm trying to add Recently changed content WebPart to my site on Sharepoint 2013. Standard setup no customizations just plain simple site with one document library and notes. All seems fine with adding content to page, saving and so on. But when I want to
preview / view my site there are no elements on Recently changed list although in properties of webpart when I modify query and go directly to Test - all is fine and results are there. Probably there is small switch that I'm not aware of to turn this list
on. Anyone can help?

Hi,
As my understanding, you want to extract InfoPath form attachment into a SharePoint library.
For SharePoint Designer, there is no SharePoint actions to extract InfoPath attachment into a SharePoint library. As a workaround, you can develop a custom workflow activity to do it.
Or, you can find a third party solution to achieve it.

Problem in Activating Hierarchy Attribute change run through process chain.

Hi All,
I have the problem in Hierarchy change run processw running through process chain..and also process chain completes successfully without any error..
Even hierarchy change run completes successfully the hierarchy objects are not activating,
so daily when i have to activate hierarchy objects manually..
and what i did was in one attributechange run process i have included 10 hierarchy object is it correct or else i have to separatly create 10 attribute change hierachy proceess in the process chain.. pls through some lights on this issue

Yes.. i already include the save hierarchies process in process chain...
my main problem is hierarchy infobject are not activating using process chain and also even process chain is not giving error message.. and in which log table the hierarchy objects are maintained (such as run time, date , status etc..).
IS there is any other settings to be made in process chain..

Automatic Activation of change list

HI All,
I have two questions regarding Change list.
1) User "1" has imported one TPZ file, does user "2" have the rights to activate it in the Change list.
2) Is there any way to achive automatic activation as soon as you import a TPZ file in IR or ID with out manual activation.

I think you can do it this way...
goto the changelist and choose the change list of USer1 and then try to activate it.
I have never tried this.but you can try.

Error during activation of change list

I want to activate my changes in the change list of the intergration configuration. After activation I receive the error message:

Error in solution manager; no active task list exists in sap change manager

List all active change documents

Is there a way to list all ACTIVE change documents? In other words - I only want ot know which change documents are being used in the system...

Thanks Anji - Seems there is no place to show if a change document is active, but I was being silly since if a change document is not active or being used, it will not appear in CDHDR / CDPOS!
A useful pool table is TCDOB - It lists all change documents with properties like which tables they monitor etc...

Cannot activate or rejected change list in Integration Builder

I cannot activate any object in Integration Builder, and Activation and Reject buttons are not active in change lists too
What can be the reason?
PS: there is no problem in Integration Directory.

This could be due to improper authorization, ask you basis to check your authorizations.

PI 7.11 - Change List notification

All:
I was wondering if anyone of you noticed the below actions in your PI 7.11 system.
Open any of your Service Interfaces(Message Interfaces) , just give a space in the description, activate your change list. Now go to the Menu - Environment - Cache Status Overview - Check if your activated objects showing up in the list
I'm not seeing it my system and I checked with couple of other friends as well - They are not seeing it.
Now,

It will show up in the list.
Question: Why does the Service interface changelist is not showing up in the cache status overview. How come we know if the objects got successfully changed?
I found a work around too: If I want to change the Service Interface, change it and then just do the same steps as I did for above Message mapping and activate both together. Now you will see your changes( Service Interface + Message mapping).
Weird isn't it ? Or I'm missing something here.

Regarding to the issue itself, I've confirmed with the next level
support that the system is working as designed.
Only cache relevant objects will be visible after an update. The
following repository objects need to be cached:
Interface Mappings,
Message Mappings,
Imported Archives,
Repository Processes,
Adapter Metadata (AMD).
A Service Interface is referenced in the mapping. Therefore, the
Service Interface itself is not cache relevant but the mapping is.

Problem with iChat changing my custom away message after 30 minutes

Lately, I've been having a big problem with iChat changing any custom away message that I put up to "Away" after 30 minutes or so. Is there anything I can do to make it stop? Another issue I'm having is that sometimes when people on my buddy list change their away message, it doesn't show up on iChat unless I go offline and then sign back on. Any idea why it's doing that, and what I can do to get it to stop?

Does it say you are set to Go to Away when you log off/QUit iChat ?
is the computer going to Sleep at this point ?

ABAP Mapping - Message shown in Standard Change List Process Log

I am working with ABAP Mapping program. I had created ABAP class using ABAP workbench. Before this, in exchangeProfile..data was provided for com.sap.aii.repository.mapping.additionaltypes ==>> as " R3_ABAP|Abap-class;R3_XSLT|XSL (ABAP Engine) " and 'Saved'.
In Interface Mapping, after providing the Class Name under 'Mapping Program' and activated. After activation (Standard Change List), it is showing the following messages under 'Processing Log'.
--> Standard Change List - Process Log message
Activation of the change list canceled Check result for Interface Mapping IM_ABAP_MAPPING | http://ABAP_Mapping_SREE: Type R3_ABAP of
program ZSREETEST is invalid because it is not registered in the exchange profile . Check the values for the exchange profile parameter
IntegrationBuilder.Repository.com.sap.aii.repository.mapping.additionaltypes
--> End of Log message
Can some one please guide me in resolving the ABAP mapping issue.

The log says that there is ABAP mapping included in your exchange profile. Do the things what michal have told and also check your mapping program whether working fine or not in SXI_MAPPING transaction.
