Problem in adding a standard field to identification screen in sap crm 2007

Hi Experts,
I have added a field INDUSTRY SECTOR to the identification screen, my requirement is to pull the data from R/3 field INDUSTRY SECTOR.All middleware settings are fine and even i could see the data in CRM Database, but it is not pulling to the UI screen.Please help me out.

You will have edit the standard code, by REPAIRS.
This is not advised.
Suggest you to raise a OSS note to SAP explaining what are you trying to do.

After I got this error I upgraded the Kernel from patch level 159 to 179,
After that I restarted the update again but the system is still running on u201CIMPORT_PROPERu201D and dose not given any update,

Here is an outline of series of events that happened:-
We are applying in support packages in SAP R/3 4.6C HR Development
(TFI) environment. We planned with installing all the SP stacks
starting from 1 to 9.
-Updated kernel, tp , r3trans and SPAM level to latest level.
We received the following error in Import_Proper step of Support
package upgrade. Though the step has been repeated after making sure
that we have all the required files at OS level, we go this error
repeatedly.

While playing around I have deleted the transport from the tp buffer
and added manually, before doing so I made a backup of tp buffer at OS
level and I got following error though I reverted back to backed-up
copy.
- Error in phase: IMPORT_PROPER
- Reason for error: TP_BUFFER_INCONSISTENCY
- Return code: 0008
- Error message: Wrong sequence of Packages in the tp buffer (e.g.
SAPKB46C52 )
I then tried to disassemble the package separately and reran the
import queue. Now I have RC 8 on that support package.
When I did R3trans -l on the datafile it completed successfully.
D:\>R3trans -l \usr\sap\trans\data\RB46C52.SAP
This is R3trans version 6.05 (release 46D - 27.10.08 - 16:32:00).
R3trans finished (0000).
I verified the size of file "CSR0120031469_0023301.PAT" and it is the
same as mentioned in SSP.
Let us know is there is a workaround.

Adding a Standard Field to iView

I know this seems like something that may have been in a couple iof threads, but going back upto 5 or 6 pages after search I did not find anything, so I have to ask this here
I am working with the Witholding Screen (W4)(IT 210) for US. I see that there are standard fields such as Personal Exceptions (PEREX) and Dependant Exceptions (DEPEX) that are not available on the iView. When I looked at the structure: HCMT_BSP_PA_US_R0210, I saw that these fields are present in the structure (Fields: PEREX & DEPEX).
How would I be able to get these fields to display on the iView?

Reuse Country Specific Applications -> Assign Screen Structure to Infotype Version
IT210, Version: 10
Assigned Structure: HCMT_BSP_PA_US_R0210 as Main Infotype
Setup the Active Subtypes and Use Cases for IT210 ST FED & MO
Tabke: V_T588MFPROPC (Maintain)
Added entry for Structure: P0210, Field: PEREX (No Checkbox Selected)
Upto this point, I am still unable to get the Field: Personal Exceptions (PEREX) on the iView. Any suggestions on what else needs to be done?

Can you please tell me how I can creat a custom field for CTNUM and show it like the standard one?
I'm not a progremmer, so I must manage this via standard basis.
I've tryed to add some custom fields for IT 0016 in PM01 but something is missing.
After I add to the IT 0016 a custom field, I get the message:

Diagnosis
If the PS structure is changed by adding, deleting, or changing fields, then
this change must also be reflected in the associated screen structure. As the PS
structure is not included here, but rather is copied, the screen structure must
be edited accordingly.
Procedure
If you have not yet made any changes to the screen structure, simply choose
"Generate Code". The screen structure is then deleted and created again as a
copy of the new PS structure. The other objects of the infotype remain
unchanged.
If the screen structure no longer corresponds to the (relevant part of the)
PS structure, perhaps because you have included new fields, you must modify the
screen structure manually on the "Screen Structure" tab page using "Edit".
If I go to "Generate Object" I reach to "BADi Builder" screen:
Tranzaction : SE19
Program : SAPLSEXO
Enhancement Spot : HRPAD00INFTYBL
And from here I don't know what to do.
Can someone please help me?

Problem in adding new tabs in master data screens for RE-FX in ECC 6.0

Dear members,
I am working on RE-FX in ECC 6.0. I need some advice on the foll matter:
When displaying master data for Rental Object (Rental Space) (Tcode REBDRO) there are three tabs that are visible. They are General Data, Measurement and Area Shares. I would like the tab "Supplementary Texts" to also appear as the fourth tab. I have gone to the node Screen Sequence under the Dialog node under Usage View under Master Data in RE-FX.
I have added this screen to the sequence and have saved it successfully. Now when i am trying to display the rental space (RS) it is still not showing the tab that I just added. When I am trying to remove one of the existing tabs, by going into the same screen sequence I am successful in doing that. I am also able to add some of the other tabs. However every time I am trying to add the tab "Supplementary texts", I am failing to display it in the master data.
Request you to please help me as I am not an expert in RE-FX.

We are facing problem in adding tab to transaction RESCSU. We have followed all the steps mentioned by you , like
1. Go to transaction BUPT .
2. Select Application Object - transactuion BUS0.
3.Selected Application object as RESU.
4. And then went to all the following transactions.
    RESCSU0002     SU: Field Groups
    RESCSU0003     SU: Views
    RESCSU0004     SU: Sections
    RESCSU0005     SU: Screens
    RESCSU0006     SU: Screen Sequences.
5. Created one z function group , having 2 FM for PBO and PAI.
6. Also one subscreen having the field mapped to CI_INCLUDE - CI_VISCSU.
But still we are not able to see the tab on the settlemet screen.
We tried changing the screen sequence of existing tabs, we could change that, but after performing all the steps mentioned above we could not add new tab.
Please suggest where are we committing a mistake.

Adding a new field on ESS screen.

Hello Experts,
Just need a suggestion on how to a add a check box to the ESS view.
After reimporting the model basically, I want to know where do I have to edit the model bindings.
The RFC, we have added a custom field in the struchure HRBEN00_FSACONTRIB_TRANS of RFC HR_BEN_ESS_RFC_OFFER_DETAILS.
The view, I am tryign to add the field is to DetailFSAContributionView.
I just want to get little clarification on communication between view, interface controller, component controller and the model.
In a web dynpro application binding is between view -> controller n controller -> model. Looks like in the FPM application its different.
So, if anyone can let me know how to do the binding and any additional steps needed to be added to code inorder to intiate the values?

to add a check box, do it the layout if u want to do at design time,
or write code in the wdDoModifyView to create a check box if u want t o do it dynamically...
coming to the binding,
first check how the binding is done in the data modeller,
if it is view>componentcontroller->interfacecontroller
and model-->component controller,
reimport the model (as u have modified the structure)
first, apply template(service controller) to the component controller (binding takes place b/w the component controller and the model
then, bind the view to component controller and then component controller to the interface controller.

How to add an input field in the web UI of CRM 2007

Hi everybody.
I want add an Input field in the Web UI Screen. How it is possible.
I want get the information with detailed descriptions if possible with screen shorts.
What type of methods it will be generated and what are the code we entered in those methods.
Take according to any example. But with detailed description.
I am new for the CRM 2007. So, please give the screen shorts with proper data.
Not only adding the field. If any data i entered in the adding field then that will be stored in the tables otherwise no use by adding the field.
So, Can anybody please send a proper information according to this.

If you want to add extra standard fields (like one you mentioned), you can use Component Workbench and Copy the configuration and create your own configuration and make the "Available Fields" appear there.
If the standrd field is not available, you can Add Context Node using wizard and make it visible.
If its a custom field (a new one); you will have to use EEWB and add the fields and then make it visible in the UI using Component Workbench.

Disable and enable field at runtime in sap crm 2007

Dear experts!
   I created 2 new fields on Opportunity type by EEWB. The first field is checkbox type, is called FIELD1. The second is dropdown list type, is called FIELD2. My problem is: In general, if FIELD1 is not checked, FIELD2 is disalbe. When i checked FIELD1, FIELD2 is enable, enable to choose a value in dropdown list value of FIELD2. But, i don not know how to do it. Can you help me resolve this problem?

   But maybe i have not described clearly to you understand, so your solution has not resolved my problem. I will describe more detail as following:
   - I create 2 transaction type ZOP01 and ZOP02 are BUS200111 object type. And using EEWB to generate 2 fields type input field are ZZFN01 and ZZFN02 on those transaction type. Because 2 Trans type are common component BT111H_OPPT, so 2 fields ZZFN01 and ZZFN02 will display on Web UI together when i create either of 2 trans type. Problem is if i create new opportunity type ZOP01, only ZZFN01 is enable, ZZFN02 is disable. and if i create new opportunity type ZOP02, only ZZFN02 is enable, ZZFN01 is disable. Your solution to resolve this problem. But, i done it, and my thread do not question about this.
   - My problem is: I create 2 field are ZZFN01 and ZZFN02 on transaction type ZOP01. ZZFN01 is checkbox type, ZZFN02 is dropdown box. (i do not question: How to make ZZFN01 is check box and ZZFN02 is dropdown box, i done it). I want that: when ZZFN01 is not checked, ZZFN02 is disable and when i checked the ZZFN01 then, ZZFN02 goes from disable to enable, immediately? I create method GET_I_ZZFN02, in this method, i put some code lines to check ZZFN01 and return to PA_RETURN_ZZFN01. if (PA_RETURN_ZZFN01 = ' ', then make ZZFN02 is disable. If (PA_RETURN_ZZFN01 = 'X', then make ZZFN02 is enable). when i create new opportunity type ZOP01, the ZZFN01 is not checked, so ZZFN02 is disable, of course. Next, i check ZZFN01, how to method GET_I_ZZFN02 recheck the ZZFN01 to make ZZFN02 is enable? This is my problem, and i question about this! So, can you help me?

Fields default on SAP CRM 2007 User Interface

I need to have a field in the search screen of products on the User Interface alsways prefilled to a default value for all the users.
I haven't figured out how to do this via Component Configuration, but only via enhancment.
Can you please suggest whether there is a standard way to do it?

As far as my understanding, there is no standard way of configuration for this. Enahncement would be the possible option, i understand that you have already done this.
One option u have is the Working context in CRM 2007. this is role specific and it is predefined attributes that can be defaulted.

In which screen the Profit Center field can be seen in SAP CRM Product Master?

1) Do we have profit center field in SAP CRM Product Master?If yes then in which screen can we see?
2) At the moment we are not using the profit center field in either of the systems(ECC and SAP CRM) in Material, we want to use this then how to go ahead to have this field in CRM.
3) If we add the profit center value in material master in ECC under general and plant data view then how this value will be replicated into SAP CRM , delta load or initial load?
We are using SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP CRM 7.1 systems.

Problem while adding a new field to a Z-table

My attributes are mater table with maintenance allowed and taken APPl0 as data class.
Now i am trying to add another field to this table and it says you have no authorizations in the log.
I checked in SU53, actiity is 42 there...
how can i no wether i have authorizations 2 chg a table or not?if this is the case, it should pop-up a msg when we go for a chg mode itself.. right???
any clues guyz what shud i do?

Do u want to know about the authorization means go to table maintenance generator first.
Now get the authorization object of your table.
Goto transaction SU21.
List of object class will be displayed.
Double click the object class BC_A.
Now a list of object will be displayed.
Double click the object S_TABU_DIS (Table Maintenance)
U will find wat all fields used in tht, ACTVT is the field which specifies the activities of ur table.

Problem with displaying a standard field in Personal Data iView

Hi,
I'm trying to display the field 'Nickname' from infotype 0002 in the Personal Data iView. I searched SDN and SAP Help and all of the replies/documentation refers to "Maintain V_T588MFPROPC". I want to display this field in the Edit and the Review and Save screens.
The steps given in this forum seem straightforward but in reality it's a nightmare. I've spent days and nights debugging and testing, but still couldn't solve this. I can see from my debugging that the field is filled in with the appropriate values in all the internal tables/structures but it is not shown at all in the iView. What I got from maintaining V_T588MFPROPC is just the field's attributes.
How do I actually display the field in the Review and Save screens of the Personal Data iView? Does this involving modification to the iView Java program? Can anyone help?

V_T588MFPROPC is the table where you add the technical field name for the country version you are using
like for USA it is 10
Now the same field if supported should appear in all screens, it if it not then you would need java modification
of the ess component

Adding a new field to selection screen -Effect on variant

Hello,
If we add a new (non obligatory) field to a slection screen, is there any impact on existing variants? Does SAP regenerate each variant when the screen change transport get applied? We had a DB lock jam situation in our PRD system for VARI table and the previous day some program changes with a added selection screen parameter ( a check box) had moved).

Adding a field to the selection screen shouldn't affect existing variants (but the field will be blank for all variants). However, if there is a problem, you should be able to retrieve variants with program RSVARDOC_610.

You can create a custom field in MIGO as a subscreen ...which will be displayed as tabstrip......
Do in this way....
use the badi MB_MIGO_BADI
Create a program with the screen type sub-screen in SE80 and design the layout for the custom fields.
Declare the custom fields in a Z**TOP include.
--> Under the PBO method declare the program name and screen number
--> Under PAI method declare the field to u2018Xu2019.
--> Define E_force_change = 'X'. in pai
--> Under the line modify method declare a flag and set to u2018Xu2019 checking for material document number by which we can set the fields to be in display mode when we open MIGO for display of material document created after doing goods receipt.
--> Under the POST_DOCUMENT method write the code for the values of the line item. For these values to be available here in this method use the memory concept u201CExport to memory idu201D in the method LINE_MODIFY.
--> Under the POST_DOCUMENT method write the code for appending the value to Z table along with the values of the line item (In this case production order number, material, u2026u2026.). For these values to be available here in this method use the memory concept u201CExport to memory idu201D in the method LINE_MODIFY.
--> In order to make the fields to be in display mode during the display of material document, create a module under PBO and import the flag value and the production order number details in the method LINE_MODIFY and if that flag = u2018Xu2019, use
