Problem in Alerts

Dear Experts,
I am working on Alerts.
I have created Alert category in the tcode 'ALRTCATDEF' and I have assigned this category in the transaction 'SWE2' for the Business object 'BUS10006'.
My requirement is when i create the Business Partner it should send Alert to the User.But it is not sending the Alert to the User.
can anyone tell me how to trace the error.It is Very Urgent.Help me to solve this Problem.

Problem on alerter base on break

Hello,
I have a problem with alerter base on break.
This alerter is build with a variable.
The shaping of the cell of break does not depend on conditions set on the break, but on the position to alerter it on lines details.
I work with BO XI 3.0 Deski.
I have to create a alerter on lines details and a alerter on break. The both are establish on the same variable.
For example:
The variable value is 6%

Not sure if u have already looked at this text from xml pub user guide, which i think solves your issue, does it not??:
To create a page break after the occurrence of a specific element use the
"split-by-page-break" alias. This will cause the report output to insert a hard page break
between every instance of a specific element.
To insert a page break between each occurrence of a group, insert the
"split-by-page-break" form field within the group immediately before the <?end
for-each?> tag that closes the group. In the Help Text of this form field enter the
syntax:
<?split-by-page-break:?>'

Problems Setting Alerts on iCal with Yosemite

I am having problems setting alerts on iCal. Generally, I set for reminders at 1 day ahead, and then 2 hours ahead. When I enter the first alert everything is fine, and then on the second, the alerts switch places so that the one day before alert occurs as the second alert, and the 2 hours before as the first alert. Is there something I am missing? It is purely frustrating. Using Mac Book Pro, running Yosemite 10.10.1. Thanks!

First, verify you're using Calendar and not iCal, which was deprecated a long time ago.
Then, update OS X. 10.10.2 is the current release.
Using Calendar, I can't duplicate the problem, but perhaps I am misunderstanding your description of it. If you would kindly provide really simple step-by-step instructions, I'll try again and let you know what I observe. It could very well be a bug.

BO FC 10.0 problem with alerts and notifications for Workflow

HI guyz.
I can't save e-mail password in option Tools -> General Options -> Alert and Notification. So if you had the same problem, how did you solve it?

Problem: Library alert, recovery, then nothing

Problem: When Aperture opens, it shows 85 images in 6 projects not backed up. But instead of showing the projects on the left, it only shows the library icon. Then the following alert appears:
Library Alert, The following new or unknown items have been found in the library:
Albums:

Would you like to recover these items now?
I hit the button "Recover Now".
It says "recovering." Shortly thereafter it says successfully recovered.
But none of my project icons/images appear. Just the lone library icon.

I have 47,000 images on an external 500 Gig drive. The location is correctly set in the preferences.
At first I thought it might be Aperture itself. So I plugged the drive into my MBP and got the same result. (Complication: I just updated the MBP to 1.5.3 yesterday, in case there's something screwy with 1.5.3)
I ran disk utility and Disk Warrior on the drive. It appears to be OK.
I ran the "Manage Referrenced images" routine. It counted all 47,000+ images, then told me I have no referrenced images, which is true. It also updated the previews. But the bottom line here is that the project icons don't appear, and consequently neither do any images.
I'm hoping there's just some preference or plist or plugin some other software toggle that needs to be reset.
Although I've backed up all but 85 images to the vault, I hesitate to rebuild from the vault. That's because I had trouble doing that once a year ago and view that option as a last resort.
Any suggestions for what to do next will be very appreciated. I love Aperture, but the possibility of losing all my images because of this kind of glitch has always concerned me. I realize I can ultimately open the library via the control "view contents" and extract images, but that would be a long, awful process.

Yesterday, we detected this error because SQL don't execute.
The error repeat 47times and there is 6 different file-block combination (4 index of schemas, 1 of sys and ¡2 tables!)
First, I launched expdp and exp of the one problematic schema. The export was fine, no errors while exporting, but in the alert.log show one block corruption. Should exp and expd show error and stop?
Next, I used dbv and verify all dbfs. Only show 2 blocks error in two datafiles (indexes).
Next, I used RMAN:
A) check database: no error.
B) validate database: error in two blocks (logical error) and different from the 6 in alert.log. This two blocks are indexes.
I re-create this two indexes. When i re-create, the block error disappear (not inmediate, suppose that disappear when block was rewrite). Now dbv and rman show no error.
I have read one note about types of error, other about procedures if db is in archivelog/noarchivelog. Also if object is index or table. But I find anything about auto-repair corrupt blocks in Oracle or why now the 6 block error are solved. I don't know if two tables with two block corrupt lost rows or not.
Appreciate any help.

Hello Fran. Result of query before rebuild problematic INDEXES:
SQL> select * from V$database_block_corruption;
FILE# BLOCK# BLOCKS CORRUPTION_CHANGE# CORRUPTIO

9 48632 1 390325900 LOGICAL
When I ran RMAN first time to check blocks, it filled V$database_block_corruption with two bad blocks. Different from the 6 errors from alert.:
RMAN> backup validate check logical database;
Error backing up file 9, block 48632: logical corruption
Error backing up file 3, block 98857: logical corruption
I extracted index name from each block and I re-created it. Also, I created a temporary table in tablespace's datafile to fill blocks empty. Problem solved. Rman / dbv show no error.
I'm searching for similar experiences and found: Re: Data in bad block
First 6 bad checksum errors in alert.log disappear with any visible problem?
Can I sure that DB is fine if RMAN and DBV show no errors?

Problem with alert Configuration screen ( RWB)

Hi,
I had configured Aertcatdef in development and alert rules in alert configuration in RWB,
I am moving from DEV to QUA , Alertcatdef is moved and i am defining rules in Alertconfiguration.
I am getting only half screen of Alert configuration. I refreshed the cache but no use.
Can any one tell the solution for the above problem.

The following manual changes are required in u r server.
1.) Select the SXMSALERT package in transaction SE80.
2.) Open the nodes BSP library -> BSP applications -> SXMS_AlertRules ->Views.
3.) Open the AddRule.htm view in the Workbench.
4.) In rows 5, 11 and 41, replace "50%" with "100%".

Problem with Alert rules

Hi All,
I created 6 alert rules in Alert configuration of RWB.
One of them is 'AE related alert'. For this, error occurance place is Adapter Engine and Adapter type is '*'. This is related to an alert caletory 'AE alerts'
Other 5 alerts are IE related alerts for which error occurance places are Adapter, Application, Server, Protocol & Server. All these are related to an alert category 'IE Alerts'.
For all the alert rules, Rule Active is Checked, Supress multiple alerts is not checked, connected to a message is YES, sender and receiver party/service/int/int namespace are all '*'.
Now, wheneveran error occurs, say for example mapping related error, i am getting 5 alerts from all the 5 IE related rules.
My expectation is, only one of the alerts should be sent. How can i achieve this?

In my scenario, i do not want to use 'supress multiple alerts'.
By doing this, i will supress alert from 2nd message, till the alert from the 1st message is confirmed(both messages belonging to same interface).
I want to supress multiple alerts for the same message.
As i said earlier, i have multiple alert rules for problems in different areas (proxy, mapping, server, ).
When there is a problem in mapping, all the 5 alerts belonging to different error categories are being sent.
I only want one alert to be sent.

Problem With Alert Category SCM EM 5.0

I have just updated my EM 4,0 to 5,0 and I have problems with the categories of alert, in the part of messages by mail. I do it correctly when configuring them like was doing it in the version 4 declaring in the containers the name of the paraameter of information and type, but when in the transaction SOST I see the very result the first character of the piece of information that is supposed to all data reflect appears they are declared correctly and in the HEY are everything like parameters of information.

Problems IPS alert reporting

My IPS is not reporting scanning alerts to either the console or syslog. IPS appears to be configured & working correctly. When I started using the router with the built-in signatures, alerts were seen on the console/syslog. Could the problem be with the logging level (see config)? I've reported this to TAC, they have been unable to resolve the issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

IOS IPS will send alert messages to SDEE and syslog. Syslog is enabled by default (use CLI 'ip ips notify log') and SDEE is disabled by default ('ip ips notify sdee).
To see the ips alert messages in console:
1. make sure logging console is enabled
2. make sure syslog level is set to information and above.
To see the ips alert message in syslog:
1. make sure logging is enabled
2. make sure syslog level is set to information and above.
And after all, the signature has to be triggered by certain traffic in your network. Once that happens, it should send alert message to syslog/sdee.

IPhone 4s texting problems - not alerting

No other problems with the 4s except texting issue! My phone is not alerting me (Dinging) when someone sends me a text message. Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not, but 99% of teh time it does not. It started a week or two before the iO6 was released. I thought the iO6 would fix the issue but it did not. If the phone goes to “sleep” on its own while I have the message window open the phone will definitely NOT “ding”. The only way I can make it “ding” every time is to double tap the home button and close the message program from running in the background. If I push the home button and manually put the phone to sleep with it running in the background, it will not ding. It will only ding everytime if the phone is awake.
I called Verizon and they don’t know what the problem is and since the phone is less than a year old they sent me a new one today. It worked fine all day but tonight it started all over again. It’s happening from everyone who sends me a text, regardless of their phone type or carrier!
I have restored and reloaded the phone twice (old phone and new phone) and it’s not correcting the issue. I have changed alert tones, banners, everything! No fix! I’m so mad I want to scream! Is this a conspiracy to get people to buy the iphone 5???? lol

It does it to anyone that texts me... all contacts. I use the same text tone for everyone.
Called Verizon again today and they told me they are seeing more of this same problem and forwarded me to Apple. Apple, or the lady i talked to, hasnt heard of this problem. She wants me to factory rest the phone again and then do a back-up install. If this doesnt work i am to call back with my case number and speak to some special technician.

Another update,
Incase the alert will be visible in other users inbox with a Confirmed Tick Mark only once. Next time he logs in the alert wont be visible in his inbox.

Just confirmed one more alert in my system with ABC user id. It was not visible in the XYZ users inbox even with a tick mark.
So whatever is the case if someone confirms a alert other users will be able to know that the alert has been confirmed by a tick mark or the alert will not visible in there inbox.

I have configured AE alerts and I wanted to display the Error details as in RWB in the alert as well. With the help of SDNers in the thread
Alerts for JDBC adapter
I added SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT in the container.
Now, alerts are getting generated and I could see the value for error description in the report alrtdisp for the alert generated as:
<i>java.io.FileNotFoundException: /usr/sap/workdir/output.txt (Permission denied (errno:13))</i>
but the alert in the alert inbox displays a blank in place of this description.
any clues?

check the Alert catagory first,i odnt think u will not get the Alert discription if u get the Alert in Alert inbox.
