Problem In App Integrator Iview

Hi All,
I am connecting to a site using app integrator. I am able to login successfully and see the home page. But when i am clicking on any of the link, the link is not working and i am getting an error on the page message on the status bar. I checked the detail error..it is showing
'undefined' is null or not an object.
Please help me to resolve the problem.

Hi vaishali ,
which user administration are using.
Make sure you use UIDPW as Logon method and user,admin as user mapping type

Hi Amit,
Can you tell me what URL you are using for accessing your portal. DSM problem normally appears if you are not using the fully qualified URL path for your portal.
For Yahoo SSO with app integrator can you specify what settings you have done at System definition level and in the Iview properties.

Exchange and Office Web Apps Integration - Wrong Url to Outlook Web App port 444

Hi,
I'm trying to setup Office Web Apps integration with Exchange 2013. Office Web Apps are working fine with SharePoint 2013 and the WAC servers are listed as in a healthy state.
When trying to open an office document from OWA I get the usual "Sorry...we ran into a problem. Please try again"
However I have noticed that the URL that OWA is passing WAC is in the format: https://exchangeservername.domain.com:444/owa/[email protected]/wopi/files...
This is the backend server address! All the internal and external urls for owa, ecp, ews etc are set to https://mail.domain.com and they all seem to be working fine. Client Access and Mailbox roles are on the same server.
If I change the url to https://mail.domain.com/owa/[email protected]/wopi/files... then the office file opens correctly in Office Web Apps
How do I correct the URL that OWA is sending Office Web Apps?

If everything works well except open document via OWA, it seems Exchange server 2013 has been configured correctly.
Please follow me to check Office Web Apps Server settings and Integration.
OWAS settings
1. Certificate:
Come from a trusted CA, include FQDN of OWAS farm in SAN field.
Exportable private key.
Friendly name must be unique within Trusted Root Certificate Authorities store.
2. Farm:
New-OfficeWebAppsFarm with following parameters
-InternalURL is the FQDN of the server that runs OWAS
-ExternalURL is the FQDN so that OWAS can be access on the Internet
-CertificateName is the friendly name of the certificate to be used for HTTPS
3. Explore this URL https://mail.domain.com/hosting/discovery
If OWAS works well, you can see a WOPI-discovery XML file in web browser.
Integration
1. Configure OWAS URL via EMS,
Set-OrganizationConfig –WACDiscoveryEndpoint https://mail.domain.com/hosting/discovery
2. WAC stands for Web Access Components.
Check App Log the 140 and 142 Event IDs for MSExchange OWA.
142 means the discovery of the OWAS was successful, 141 means something went wrong.
3. Enable OWAS.
By default, OWA Virtual Directory is already enable WAC Viewing on both public and private computer.
Please run "Get-OwaVirtualDirectory | FL *wac* "to check whether both “WacViewingOnPublicComputersEnabled” and “WacViewingOnPrivateComputersEnabled” parameter is True.
4. Method to collect logs on OWAS.
Run following command in OWAS powershell prompt:
Get-OfficeWebAppsFarm | FL *log*

Problem calling Apps Adapter

Hi,
I am trying to call concurrent program ARLPLB (present under Financial Receivables Suite-> Receivables-> Receivables Receipt-> Open Interfaces->AR Payments Interface-> Concurrent Programs -> ARLPLB) using Apps Adapter.
Everything works fine if I am calling it without setting the User_id,Responsibility and org_id i.e. by default with SYSADMIN user information. we are able to see the concurrent_request_id in out variable of the concurrent program.
The problem starts when I pass User_id,Responsibility other than SYSADMIN, i.e. creating a variable of message type of AppsContextHeader and then using that variable in 'Adapter tab' of Invoke activity. For this scenario, if I am invoking my BPEL process I am getting value 0 in the out parameter of concurrent program (request_id) i.e. its not able to fire the concurrent program with the specified User_id,Responsibility and org_id.
Please help me out.

This looks to be an apps issue and authentication. Its always a nightmare with apps integration.
the user_id and the responsibility need to have access to to this concurrent program.
Within eBusiness Suite have you checked (I'm, sure you have) that you can run using the user and responsibility.
This SQL should be able to see if the user has rights against the responsibility, just change the names for your purpose, this should be the user_id and responsibility id you use in your BPEL.

Have you also followed the notes in the metalink note 464164.1, 755069.1 and 755067.1 (probably last 2 more suited to your environment as this is for R12)
There is a few thing you need to do to set up your user within eBusiness Suite.

Problem with apps and logging in to app store

On my iphone, I am having a weird problem. Apps that were downloaded were working until last night. Now, when I click on them, it starts up, but then the app dies. I thought I could remove them and reinstall them. But now, when I log onto the app store, it tells me that the authorization failed, to connect to iTunes. I went to iTunes and changed my password. I logged onto iTunes successfully, but still no dice at the app store on the phone.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a simalar problem.
When I sync my iphone and apps dowloaded on my pc won't sync to my iphone, and any apps downloaded straight to my iphone won't sync to my pc.
It says that my PC is not authorized but when I authorize it it says that it already is.
I tried de-autharizing.
And now the apps on my phone do the same as above, you get the start screen for a split second when I open them then it just goes off.
This only hapens on downloaded apps, the built in ones (compass, etc) open fine and everything else seeems ok
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Problems syncing apps with 10.3.1

recently i have had problems syncing app updates on my ipad since i updated to 10.3.1. i did a restore on the ipad thinking that there was a problem with the operating system. it froze during the restore and every time i tried after that. i was able to restore on a different computer with an older version of itunes and was able to sync apps from that computer. i tried to sync apps again on the origional computer and when i do it takes an hour for them to all load on but at the end i get an error that says some of the apps in your library were not installed on the ipad because one or more errors occured. i have reinstalled itunes several times and also reinstalled the apple moble device drivers. every time i trie to sync apps i use a new back up file so there would be no corrupted files. i have also gone to apple and they gave me a new ipad. please help i dont know what to do.

i have downgraded to versio 10.2.2 and i still have the same issues. I have also tried deleting then redownloading the apps to see if a new version will correct the problem however i have had no success. please tell me every idea that you might have to fix the problems i am having.

I encountered a problem while creating URL iview (in EP7.0) as when I selected the iview template for creating the URL iview, the content area got displayed as
"No templates to display. You are not assigned to any existing templates."

I am still getting the same messages even after creating the iview template in EP7.0
Created through:
content Admin --> portal content --> <folder>new --> iview --> seleting "Portal component - create an iView from a portal component contained in a deployed portal archive (PAR file)" <next> --> seleting "com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap" <next> --> webdynpro <next> --> finish.
Open object for editing...--> Object is a Template to Yes.
Result :
content Admin --> portal content --> <folder>new --> iview --> seleting "iview template- create an iView from an existing iView template" <next> which displays the same message.

Best practices for apps integration with third party systems ?

Hi all
I would like to know if there is any document from oracle or from your own regarding best practices for apps integration with third party systems.
For example, in particular, let's say we need customization in a given module(ex:payables) need to provide data to a third party system, consider following:
outbound interface:
1)should third party system should be given with direct access to oracle database to access a particular payments data information table/view to look for data ?
2) should oracle create a file to third party system, so that it can read and do what it need to do?
inbound:
1) should third party should directly login and insert data into tables which holds response data?
2) again, should third party create file and oralce apps will pick up for further processing?
again, there could be lot of company specific scenarios like it has to be real time or not... etc...
How does companies make sure third party systems are not directly dipping into other systems (oracle apps/others), so that it will follow certain integration best practices.
how does enterprise architectute will play a role in this? can we apply SOA standards? should use request/reply using Tibco etc?
Many oracle apps implementations customizations are more or less directly interacting with third party systems by including code to login into respective third party systems and vice versa.
Let me your know if you have done differently and that would help oracle apps community.

Hi,
check whether your xi server is working fine or is it down. If you are not able to open the integration builder, what is the exact error message you are getting.
How are you trying to open your IB.
Are you able to login to SAPGUI for the XI client.
If so try to provide the tcode sxmb_ifr and check whether you are able to open the IB.
