2.0 sync problems with apps -- now you see 'em...now you don't!

What a disaster! A waste of money and a waste of my time!
Got the 2.0 update (after just paying for the "January update"...but decided to bite the bullet and try all the "new stuff".
Downloaded about 30 free apps and paid for over $60 worth of other apps and utilities.
Everything worked fine for 2 days while I was downloading and paying from iTunes and my Windows PC.
Then yesterday I decided to purchase some more directly from the iPod using the "App Store" icon. The apps downloaded and I was able to play them.
Today I charged my iPod in the dock, launched iTunes and pressed "sync" to get the apps on the iPod back to my PC.
Got a lot of errors and warnings (Some items were not copied because you are not authorized to play them..."
Now ALL of the apps I purchased are missing from the iPod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tried a sync again, reset the iPod, but nothing has changed!
This is really pi$$ing me off!
Anyone else have this? Any known solutions?
Also noticed the "authorized computer" count has dropped from 5 to 3 on some other items. Something seriously screwed up with this.

maybe you werent signed into ur itunes account or the apps you want to sync are unchecked in the 'applications' tab that comes up when u sync your ipod....?

Problem with apps and logging in to app store

On my iphone, I am having a weird problem. Apps that were downloaded were working until last night. Now, when I click on them, it starts up, but then the app dies. I thought I could remove them and reinstall them. But now, when I log onto the app store, it tells me that the authorization failed, to connect to iTunes. I went to iTunes and changed my password. I logged onto iTunes successfully, but still no dice at the app store on the phone.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a simalar problem.
When I sync my iphone and apps dowloaded on my pc won't sync to my iphone, and any apps downloaded straight to my iphone won't sync to my pc.
It says that my PC is not authorized but when I authorize it it says that it already is.
I tried de-autharizing.
And now the apps on my phone do the same as above, you get the start screen for a split second when I open them then it just goes off.
This only hapens on downloaded apps, the built in ones (compass, etc) open fine and everything else seeems ok

Fixed the problem by going to settings/store and logging out with apple ID. Then logged back in with password and updates, apps, and iTunes store seem to work ok now.

Ipad 2 with IOS 6 problems with apps and battery

Ok, I had updated my iPad the day of or day after the IOS 6 came out and at first I had no problems with it. Except now, for some reason I am starting to have problems with different apps and with the battery life. First off within 15 minutes, it went down to almost 90% charge with it being a full charge and me hardly using any apps and closing the ones I wasn't using (which was just safari and Facebook open). But the problem I have been having is that I cannot chat with my friends on the Facebook app now because it will show its loading the chat box and then freeze up. With pages and numbers, they seem to take longer than usual to load up which is around 10 seconds or so before I can do anything. I had uninstalled and reinstalled the apps with no effect and tried restarting my iPad. It also seems like my iPad is taking longer to shut down and turn on than usual even though i make sure all the apps are closed before turning it off. (the location services, bluetooth, notifications, FaceTime, messages, and limit ad tracking is all turned off to help with battery life and i don't use them.)Is there any suggestions on what I can do to fix this problem?

Problem deleting .app

I am having a problem deleting .app files from my macbook. I can delete other files such as .mp3 or any other but for some reason when i delete a .app it reappears on my HD. there will be a white circle with a line through it as if its stopping me from being able to delete.
What can be wrong?

I just figured it out and fixed it. There was a CleanApp Launch Daemon in my Library.deleted it, restarted my macbook and now joy =]

Problems with APP World

Just got back into the Curve from a WM phone and I forgot how easy this phone is to use!!! Having a problem with App world though. I;m receiving an error message stating I'm unable to connect to the server. Anyone have any suggestions on how to rectify the problem? I'm sure it's a super easy fix and I'm just missing it online somewhere. Thanks!

Here's a few steps I've recommended that have worked for some...
There have been some issues with the AppWorld services lately...most are reported to be cleared up. Please try again. Also, please try removing and re-installing AppWorld...some have reported that to be helpful. In addition...RIM has released AppWorld version 1.1.0.15...it is highly recommended to be on that version.
Also please try a hard reset: With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
In addition, you can try this sequence:
1) Remove AppWorld from your BB (Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications) -- if it requests that you reboot the BB, do so.
2) Do a Batt-Pull reboot as described above.
3) Get a new link and install a fresh copy of AppWorld

Again, if it requests to reboot, do so.
4) Do another Batt-Pull reboot
5) See if it now works.
