Problem in Approving Requisition Request in MSS UWL

Hi,
I'm facing problem in approving requisition request sent through Manager in MSS UWL.
We have configured standard process HR_MSSRCF_REQUISITION with ISR scenario is SRQ3. Workflow is WS45600028
Case: When I successfully Check & Send Requisition Request form from MSS Recruitment, it is coming in Manager UWL.
But, when i open the workitem for approval it is not coming as a PDF form with Approve Button in the bottom (Standard). Instead, it opening as per the below screen.
Please help to resolve this issue.

You should be giving the process reference number or workitem ID in transaction hrasr_test_process.
Which release you are on , what is the SP level of component EA-HRGXX?
Further as per note 972322 - HR Administrator: Migration WD4A - the start process application has been migrated to WDA.
Check the UWL XML configuration to see if the config is as below for the approval task...
APPLICATION ASR_PROCESS_EXECUTE(For EhP4, otherwise application depends on the level of EA-HRGXX )
 DYNPARAM WI_ID=${item.externalId}
 NAMESPACE sap
 SYSTEM_ALIAS <use your system alias>
A sample XML is available with note - 1371626 - UWL Configuration for HR Administrator BP version 1.51.
This appears to me to be a XML configuration issue. Collaborate with your portal and UWL config consultant.

Creation of Requisition Request through MSS

Dear All,
Currently we are on Ehp4 and using standalone eRec server
We have the following requirement.
Line manager needs to raise a requisition by Poistion/Job of his Org Unit in MSS and go for the approval to Higher level manager and then after the approval the respective requisition data should go to the eRec server with In Process as the status.
Now am totally confused what should be done from the HR system to acheive this scenario.
I saw SRQ2 and SRQ3 isr scenario's and i am unable to know when to be used in our scenario and how to config this.
As a trial and error i have copied the SRQ3 into Z and also copied all the Process and linked to and when i test the process from the backend it is throwing an error which click on send button saying that "No Pernr is assigned to the User XXXX in the eRec system"
Can anyone pls help me what all the config things and where to do. What master data required. Pls help me
Also pls guide me what I should be using whether SRQ2 or SRQ3. Also if SRQ2 how it should be done so that i can see the form in MSS.
If SRQ3 then it is HCM Process and Forms and what i need to see it in MSS as a form.

I think you need to do configuration PCRs (Process Change Request) in MSS and assign Two-Step approval Workflow for that.
First you see the standard PCRs in MSS for Change of Work Schedule, Special Payment, Termination etc., you will be having idea.
You can follow the same PCRs and modify for you requirement.
As part of HR, you have to do Organization Structure, Hire employee to a particular Position, Maintain 0105 Infotype with UserID, Email and also maintain Roles and Authorizations respective to the positions, Relationships who reports to whom.
Standrad Workflow settings for Workflow.
Then only this scenario will work.
This is to give you an indea, hope this helps you.

Problem in Create Requisition Request E-recruitment

Hi,
I have configured the standard workflow WS45600028 for the E-recruitment process in HR administration services and able to trigger the workflow successfully when I create requisition in the portal.
But the workflow fails at the first step 'Import the form data' since the method CL_HRASR00_WF_COMPONENTS-->DATAMAPPING)raises an exception when there are no entries in table T5ASRSCENARIOS.
The case configuration is absolutely fine but yet am unable to figure out why any entries aren't created in the table T5ASRSCENARIOS.
How the first entries are created in table T5ASRSCENARIOS? Is it through customising?

EREC: From MSS Requisition request is not coming in Recruter UWL.

we are creating Requisition request in MSS. But Request is not reaching Recruter UWL.

use TA ST01.
1. Select to trace all Authority Objects.
2. Set the trace to "ON".
3. Reproduce your error.
4. Se the trace to "OFF".
5. evaluate the tracelog for the respective user producing the error.
6. Filter for authority errors
7. ????
8. Profit!

Approval Failed Error in MSS

Hi,
i am working on MSS Travel Management Work Flow.
The problem is when i wants to approve the Requests from MSS ( Portal ) it is giving me an error Saying 'Approve Failed ' & also all the activites i click it is giving ' XXX Failed ' .
But the workflow is working fine in R/3. Only problem is when i am trying to do it from Portal.
Can any one tell me what could be the problem ?

I think this is aproblem in MSS. Is this happening to all the User's or some of the User's. I think there is some setting that you need to incorporate. Please check in the MSS forum.

Raise requisition request with customer form

Hi,
Does anyone know where you can select which ISR scenario that is called from the requisition request in MSS. As standard the extended requisition request from MSS calls ISR scenario SRQ2 but if you create your own scenario and your own form, where can you specify that the extended requsition request calls your version?

ESS/MSS: Approve Leave Request in UWL - not working

Hi to all,
we are using web dynpro ESS/ MSS (SAPESS07_12/ SAPMSS07_4) in portal NW04s for mySAP ERP2005 and are using UWL in order to approve leave requests. If employees are creating leave requests, everything works fine. After that the manager opens the leave request in UWL, the web dynpro application is openening succesfully and after some clicks he reaches the buttons to approve or reject the leave request. But by pushing one of them the following messages occures :
Workitem 000000000000 Cannot be read
After pushing the button again, another message comes up:
No Customizing for status typ ARQ, Status approved...
By the way, the same errors also come up when the employee wants to delete his leave request which is not approved.
Any ideas, what can be the reason?

I have found the reason. The user WF - Batch in sap erp, which is using the RFC Destination for workflow, was locked. Well, it is a a little bit strange for a cummunication user that he becomes locked. Unlocked him, now all works.

Requisition Request - Approval

Hi there,
I am trying to configure E-Recruiting in our system which are based on Enhancement Package 4. Also, we are using Netweaver Portal 7.0.
Here is how I think the requisition scenario works:
1.) A Hiring manager creates a requisition based on an vacant position (if needed) and fills out an Adobe Interactive Form. (Form Scenario: S_HRMSSRCF_REQUISITION, form - ISR_MSSRCF_SRQ3)
2.) After filling out the form, the manager submits the requisition request created.
3.) This requisition request appears in the higher level manager's UWL inbox. It uses the Workflow template WS45600028.
4.) The higher level manager can approve/reject the requisition.
5.) If approved, the requisition appears under the Recruiter's login (containing the recruiter portal role). The Recruiter then, enters more information regarding the approved requisition and creates a Job posting.
These are the things I am trying to get done, as of right now. However, the problem is face is: when the workflow item appears in the higher level manager's inbox, there is no option to Approve. I have the following four options:
1.) Resubmit
2.) Forward
3.) Assign to me
4.) Process Form
I can use the first three, but if i try and use Process form, it tells me that this application should no longer be used. The system also points me to SAP NOTE 1024326, which suggests updating the system to EHP 2, but our systems are already on EHP 4.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is my understanding of the Requisition process incorrect, given the fact that there are a lot of updates to this functionality from EHP 3 onwards?
I have search the SDN forums for solutions on this, but wasn't able to find anyone facing a similar problem.
I greatly appreciate any help that you can provide.

UWL Filter causing error while approving Leave Request

Hi Guys,
We recently applied MSS SP17 and we changed our UWL filter BADI to SWK1 Function group - SWK_LOCAL_INBOX_GET.
The filter works fine, but when we try to approve leave request, it somehow calls this piece of code again and does not allow (DUMPS) BADI to set the filter saying - this field is not modifiable.
Has anybody seen this before. Can anybody let me know how to resolve the issue?

E-recruiting under MSS create requisition request EHP4

Dear Team,
We are facing the following problem.
when manager with the role (SAP_RCF_MANAGER) is trying to create the requisition request in back end it is always showing no data available (select employee->select processes). Edit button has been disabled due to "no data available" error.
System details backend EHP4
service pack 13 EAHR 604
in our system we do not have manager groupings related nodes as it is EHP4.
Plesae suggest the solution. thanks in advance.

Create Requisition Request - MSS (Start Process Grey Out-No Data available)

Hello All
We are using SRQ2 extended requesition request. Currentlt i am on Devlopment system and just want to see the standard requistion request from MSS so that later i can make a Z copy and customize
Now when i logged in as a Manager and click on the "Create Requisition Request" from recruiting role it's opening and showing me the Start Process window and everything is non editable and showing me that No Data Avaialble
Is there any config missing for this
Also when is see the SRQ2 from SPRO "Define Own Scenarios for Request to Change Master Data" node i made the SRQ2 application as H and aslo tried. But nothing useful.
Can any one tell me any configuration missing or any other things

Problem was in MSS the Ehp4 links for erecruiting refers to SRQ3. So i had to pull the iviews from MSS 1.31 BP which will be Webdynpro Java

Error in approve the leave request in MSS

Can you check with other user who is having all the roles.
This error has something to do with the roles.navigation is occuring with URL means check the roles or try with other user.
Look into permissions and also in different browser also.
Log file u have to search in OS LEVEL.
Mail meto [email protected] if it doesn,t work and we can try for other ways.

MSS- Create New Requisition Request Error

We are implementing ESS/MSS Business package. System Ladscape is like one server for EP. One for HR and one for E-Rec.

MSS Error in creating new requisition request

Hi All,
I am getting a error when I try to create a new requisition request .
I had looked in to the below mentioned thread but i am not clear what I need to do ?

I am also getting the error saying "Hiring manager Personnel number is required " when I try to create a new requisition request for hiring process?
According to the above mentioned thread I had created a Position and assigned a personnel number to that position. I am not sure what is mean by :
You have to maintain the one more manager position (i mean requister line manager) and give the proper reporting relationship and ren the program RCF_CREATE_USER, it automatically creates the CP relationship.
What the report "RCF_CREATE_USER" will do??

In this thread they had mentioned after creating a position and run this report the "hiring manager personnel number required" error is solved. Thst is the reason. Hope you understand my situation.
I had tried this by creating this position and run that report as well.
