Problem in Auto-cad

Hi friend,
I have this problem while opening Auto-cad converted to png:
unable to convert the autocad file reason : error while opening the input file error code: -1012
what is the problem?

Here is a Note from the guide:
Note If there are problems converting the auto-cad file, an error message is displayed. NCS uses a native image conversion library to convert auto-cad files into raster formats like PNG. If the native library cannot be loaded, NCS returns the "unable to convert the auto-cad file" message. If you receive this error, make sure all the required dependencies are met for the native library. To find any dependency problems, use ldd on Linux platforms. The following dlls must be present under the /webnms/rfdlls NCS installation directory: LIBGFL254.DLL, MFC71.DLL, MSVCR71.DLL, and MSVCP71.DLL. If dependency problems occurred, you may need to install the required libraries and restart NCS.

I did install it in the admin account. Actually the computer has four accounts, one for my husband, where I installed it. One for me which also is set to admin, one is called TEST and has nothing in it and one is guest user.
I don't know how AutoCad is interfacing with the account. That is why I am not sure what to do about it. I read other threads in various places and some seemed to point to something having to do with having multiple users. The solutions were not clear. I was hoping someone else had this problem and could tell me what to do. I tried apple support but no help. I have not tried AutoCad yet as I assumed they wont help since this is a free educational version of their product.

Do you think mbp 13 can be used for using auto cad,catia,ansys and cfd software if not where can i give them suggestion to improve their graphics performance on mbp13 (i cant afford mbp15 and also it is not portable)

I would strongly not recommend the 13" MBP for use with software like AutoCad, ANSYS and any CFD program, not due to the graphics porcessor but due to the cpu. If you are going to run a CFD program like FLUENT or CD STAR this is the wrong platform to use. You need to use something of the class of the Mac Pro with the 6-core Xeon processor and a lot of memory. That software is a huge computational load and the cpu in the 13" MBP will overheat even with a small problem to analyze.
ANSYS and FLUENT are multi-threaded and will benefit for the capabilities of the Mac Pro.

How do I make a pdf of an auto cad drawing? I used to use 995 on my PC, but have up graded to MAC and the platform is not the same.

For your information, it looks like AECFilter.dll needed to convert DXF files in Acrobat exists only on PC and not on Macntosh.
I've the same Problem, I'm able to convert on the fly DXF files with Acrobat XI Pro CC on PC but It don't Work on my Mac.
Is it a bug ? or Is there something to Install ? PlugIn or anything eles ?

Go to Settings/General/Reset - Erase all content and settings. the connecto to iTunes and restore as a New phone. Do not restore any backup. If the problem persists you have a hardware problem. Take it to Apple for exchange.
This assumes that the phone is not hacked or jailbroken. If it is you will have to go elsewhere on the internet for help.

Problems with auto upgrade Anyconnect 3.1

I'm having problem with auto upgrade of Anyconnect 2.5 to 3.1.
Here is the situation :
I have ASA5510 running ASA 8.4.5 and clients are running Anyconnect 2.5.3055 and 3.1.00495 with 2 different profiles.
Clients with 2.5 can upgrade to 3.1 but then receive an "Invalid host entry" when they try to connect with new client. It works if they use FQDN instead of profiles. It's the same situation with Windows 7, Mac OS X and linux.
If I configure client software back to 2.5 on ASA, it works again for every client.
Do you have an idea ?

I have seen the same behavior on Mac OS X. A couple of points for me:
If I delete the profiles from /opt/cisco/anyconnect/profile then I can connect once (using the FQDN) but it then downloads the client profile and on next attempted connection it receives "invalid host entry." My profiles use the FQDN of my ASA and both forward and reverse DNS resolution are configured properly.
My workaround is to remove the AnyConnect Client Profile entirely, but I can get away with that because I have a very simple setup, with all users in one default group. If I had to pass different profile information to different users that would not be a solution.
Second, better workaround: I just exported the client profile, imported it under a different name, edited the new client profile to remove the server address, and assigned the new profile to the group policy. At their next login, users get all the profile settings and since the client remembers the FQDN they used to connect it doesn't adversely affect the user experience.

Having the software installed unfortunately is not enough; the browser has to have a configuration item that says that content-type X is handled by installed application Y. If Autocad is not being triggered for the given content-types, then the browser is not configured properly. See this document for Firefox:

What is another application that works like auto cad for graphics.

Try Draftsight, it's free, there is a beta for Mac. It manages only 2D drawings, but does it quite well. Opens and saves AutoCAD compatible dwg files.

Wish to move auto cad drawing to adobe illustrator. Wish to take blue print and layer it for viewing.

We have our drawings in auto cad and need to move them to adobe illustrator and layer the drawing for viewing on a web site.

You can import certain versions of DXF/DXW files into Illustrator and also edit them.
If this can be done efficiently depends on the nature of the files (number of paths etc.)
You could download a trial version and try it on your files.

What would you like to do exactly, Create a Drawing and Save it SAP?
If you can do it in OLE then goto Transaction DWDM. There click on Demo for OLE container under Office Integration tree.
This shows how to interact with Paint, Video clip PPT's and so on.

3D Max & Auto CAD work on the Mac?

I'm Using iMac, bought it a few days ago. It's so amazing and lovely.
But some application S/W doesn't work on the iMac . Such as Autodesk 3D Max & Autodesk CAD...~!
Should i just wait that Autodesk will be supported?
I know that adobe systems Inc. is pushing forward with 3D Max compatibility on the Mac & Win.
Hope the adobe systems Inc. will support business service.

I understand what you mean, iMac can run both of them OS lion & Window OS .
But I mean.., I would like to use applications 3D Max & Auto CAD on the OS Lion.

Window OS is exposed to hacker, I have suffered a heavy damage over 300,000 US dollar. That is why i change to iMac.
I hope Adobe Systems Inc, will support those applications based on OS X Lion as soon as possible. Do you have an idea?
And…, There is an error using keyboard shortcut on the iMac., I'm using Korean & English together. Just one time all day during using iMac. But It's working well now. Hope never happen from now like a this error.

Problem in Auto import & syndication.

I am facing an unusual problem in auto import & syndication.
The problem is all of a sudden the import & syndication process stops
without making any changes.
Has anybody faced the same problem & any inputs to overcome.

Can you explain your problem a little more in detail
Automatic importing and syndication stops suddenly means is it that after importing or syndicating a file once it does no work again?
If this is your problem then check for the following things:
- After automatic importing of a source file once .MDM places the file automatically in the archive folder.If you wish to reimport the same file it may not work again if in your import map import actio is just create.As once you have imported the fiel based on the primary key in teh matching tab the rec has alredy been imported in MDM so next time this rec will not com eunder th create import action but Update all mapped field option.So if you wish to reimport teh smae rec then change your import action acc or else jsut cahnge th primary field value in the xml and a new rec will be imported.
- As for Syndication,if you have syndicated a file once out of mdm and the suppress unchanged records property is enabled in syndicator then the same records will not be syndicated again untill any field value for those rec change.You will have to disable taht property again if you wnat to resyndicate the same rec or else make any changes in the rec to resesnd it.
- If your issuse is something else and is not solved by this then try checking th import and syndication services on your machin.Go to services.msc and check to see that the import and syndication server is started if not restart it.
- Also check the config file ie mdis.ini and mdss.ini for the valid entries .The delay time for scanning a port.Also check if any exception have occured in the exception folders.

My mail recently has had a problem with auto addressing. Sometimes it fills in the address, at other times it will not. I have checked mail preferences often...making sure auto-address is on. I CAN use the address book to click on an address when auto addressing doesn't work. Mail is also quirky about quitting and sometimes preferences have to be re-edited to send. Later...12/03. Autofill not working with mail or safari. Autofill icon, when touched says something like...autofill has no infomation. this is weird, since it had been working nicely for 2.5 years. I've tried everything I could think of. Need a pro's help...MNICE

To : who may concern , which really need urgent help .
after few days of setting up the ZESM , but then i was unable to find is there any setting which can "AUTO PUBLISH " into the Client side . Without the Client need to use the manual "UPDATE POLICY " button ?
Because , we find it that to make it silent update without the CLIENT side need to manually click the UPDATE POLICY , so i would wonder is there any way to have the AUTO UPDATE the policy from SERVER side ?
