Problem in Belle Update

While downloading the belle update i found myself in a proble... The problem is that the whole 329 mb of software is easily downloaded to my nokia suit but the last 5 mb is not downloading... It shows the downloading message for a long time and at the last the message says Error in server... Suggest any alternate way to update my Nokia C7-00....

  • Wireless problems after Belle update on E7

    I updated my Anna to belle today morning, everything used to work perfect, but now the wireless is not working, it says it is connected but no send and receive from my wireless connection, I restarted and re-entered the access point again but no luck, also I re-installed the OS Belle again also it gave me the same result. But it is working on 3G.
    Is it a bug from the Belle OS. Or I didn't enter the configuration well?

  • Serious problem with belle update FP2 and 3.75G si...

    Hi, I update my Nokia 603 belle to FP2 then when its restarted just after Nokia logo my mobile restarted 3 time and turned off! Even when I turn it on the problem repeated again!!  when I removed my 3.75G sim card it worked! how can I resolve this problem?!
    before Update it working correctly!!  

    Have you tried with other 3.75G SIM?
    I suggest you to turn off the phone, remove the battery and sim, clean the sim, wait for five minutes and put the sim back in and start the phone.
    It should work fine.
    If this doesn't work,
    Use old 2G sim card, start the phone and in network settings, switch the network mode to gsm instead of dual or 3G.
    Now remove your old sim and insert your 3.75G sim and turn on the phone and try switching mode back to 3G.

  • Mail box problems after Belle update

    I had a perfectly working E6 phone and just finished the o/s update.  It removed all my email accounts and after installing one account it will only give me the "email server connection unavailible, try later" message and will not allow me to add the rest of my email accounts.  HUGE problem for me.  How do I fix this? or go back to my old operating system that worked?  I have tried reset, restore, taken out the battery and sim card and left set and rest to factory defaults and nothing works.   Can anyone help me solve this issue?

    Ok I read this on another topic simular.   This is crazy to have to do in my opinion but it did work so here goes.   
    1.  Turn the phone off
    2.  Remove the battery
    3.  Remove the sim card
    4   leave it sit for about 10 minutes.
    5  reinstall the sim and battery
    6  turn it on and don't reset the time and date yet.
    7  try adding a mailbox.  it should let you do so
    (you may have to do this for each added mailbox, I did)  after finished setting up the mailboxes then reset the time and date.  As I said this is the craziest thing to have to do but it did work for me as it did for some others.   I will have to say a few days later the phone decided to rename my mailboxes from what I had to something of it' s liking?   I got it changed back and it has lasted for the last few days so we will see if that continues.   I also now have radom freeze ups that I never had before even one time before the update to Belle!  How I wish I could go back!

Last night i was doing that Noka Belle update and every time it Problem Says ( The Device Isn't Connected ) So every time i have to remove the USB And Switch the phone on again and re-try but the same prmblem came out everytime so i was tring again but last time when it was making the same thing my brother removed the phone from the USB Cable and now It's Dead it doesn't switch on Or Charge So some one knows what i have to do ?  Sry For bad english.

    Hi, I was having this problem that after Belle update I could not receive emails after set up.
    My email is with eircom.net and phone is with Vodafone Ireland. It is working afet I tried these settings.
    Set your own email address, user name and password.
    Try this settings:
    Incoming server: webmail.eircom.net ( use your own, this in mine with eircom.net)
    access point: internet
    NB: security: OFF
    Port: default
    APOP secure login: OFF
    outgoing server: For vodafone it is mail.vodafone.ie (Ireland)
    Access point: internet
    Security: OFF
    port:default
    Hope these help....

    Problem solved. The ipad default is set to IMAP. When I changed it to a POP server, problem solved.

  • MicroSD cashing problem with Symbian belle update

    It’s only been 14 hours since I have updated to Symbian Belle, but after a short period of usage I noticed that my music would lag for 0.5 - 3 seconds, sometimes once, sometimes a couple of times a song.
    My song library was located on my MicroSD 16GB class2 card that has worked in this N8-00 for the full 1.5 years that I have it. I now have formatted the internal and external drives and put in the same one folder of music. I listened to the songs and what I found out is that the songs on my MicroSD are acting up. The phone completely locks up for 0.5 - 3 seconds and continues. Its seems to happen moor to songs with an higher than 256kbps bitrate.
    My problem with this BUG, is that it now happends with the update to Bella, and not to Anna or befor, therefor concluding that the software is not optimized as much for MicroSD card use.
    Have you have the same problem since Belle, using an N8 or other device? Please post below.

    Well, I can definitely confirm that the Belle update is available for your product code. Other users facing the same issue mentioned that they had to un-install Nokia suite and re-install a fresh copy. You may also need to disable any firewall active on your PC (try this first before re-installing Nokia Suite).

  • X7 headset is not recognized after Belle update

    Hi,
    afters Belle update my original headset is not recognized by Nokia X7, can't listen to music or radio. The icon is not visible.
    Headset is 100% ok, I tried it on different phone and works fine.
    After hard reset is starts working but after unplugged and plugged one again it is still not working. Another hard reset didn't help.
    Also tried accessories settings in settings menu - changing profiles and other setting - didn't help.
    Any ideas?

    Same problem here too.
    Updated to Belle and tried to listen to my music using the original nokia x7 headsets and the music plays only from the speakers too. Tried the headsets on my brother's nokia x7 updated to belle too and they worked fine. Others headsets also didnt work in my nokia x7 but they did in my brother's. I tried to reinstall Belle, restore orinigal settings several times and it didn't work.
    Think i just gonna have to sent my phone to the SAT

  • Belle Update "stuck" after the "Restore" step

    I've gone through the Belle update on my Nokia N8, and got as far as completing the "Restore" step. The on-screen menu says "please wait while the phone is restarted", but nothing is happening.
    The phone says "Phone will restart"    and it seems to be waiting for me to click on the "OK" right below it.
    I know I'm not supposed to touch the phone, but what do I do?  The update program hasn't changed in 15 minutes now.
    Did I just turn my phone into a "brick", or should I click the "OK" on the phone screen, or ???
    Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Possible solution for "Connection failed. Access denied" message after Belle update
    If you get a message "Connection failed. Access denied" and can´t connect to any access point (wireless - mobile) the reason could be that you installed an application that use a sniffer plugin to monitor your data usage, like SPB Wireless Monitor. 
    If you had installed SPB Wireless Monitor before belle upgrade and after the upgrade you lost the network connectivity, try this:
    close Nokia Suite (file->exit)
    Connect your phone to computer with USB cable in mass storage mode (Notification bar->USB->mass storage)
    In your computer, go to (phone drive letter):\Private and rename or delete these folders:
    20042D1D
    101f7989
    Close explorer, eject the drive and remove the USB cable.
    Reboot the phone.
    Configure your wireless network or try to connect using your mobile data plan. Should work now.
    Now you can open Nokia store and reinstall SPB Wireless Monitor
    If you have Symbian Anna and want to update to belle, uninstall any data monitor like SPB Wireless Monitor before updating.

    This might explain why someone suggested formatting the memory card - if SPB Wireless Monitor was installed to the memory card, formatting it would have fixed it I guess - but in my case I installed it to the "mass memory".
    THANK YOU PABLO ---  and to Nokia, I know it's not your fault, as it wasn't your code, but maybe you should suggest that people un-install SPB Wireless Monitor (and others???) and re-install only after the Belle update is completed..

    if i was not mistaken, symbian anna or should we say symbian ^3 phones should be able to get belle updates on q4 of 2011 but it was postponed and was moved on q1 2012 which is january to be specific, with great courage ang faith to nokia, we users waited for so long, and now nokia vietnam announced an update on feb 8 2012 and all of us were excited then now, there are so many complaints about the update, now nokia 500 will wait for a week? A month? Nokia, will you please be considerate on your customers?

    You cannot install fonts yourself, the only way to get additional languages on your phone is to visit your local Nokia Care Point and ask them to do it. Please note that they can usually install only local languages, so it's best to phone them or visit the shop for more information.
    If you only want to browse websites, we would advise you to give Opera Mini a try as it is capable of displaying different language fonts.

    Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum.
    You can update your phone through Nokia Suite, which you can download here. This link will also give you more information about the Belle update.
    Simply connect your phone to Nokia Suite and click on the green arrow icon where all available updates for your particular device will be displayed. 
    If you experience a connection error, please uninstall via the instructions below and reinstall. 
    Windows XP:
    Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
    Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
    Scroll through the list of installed applications, then click Nokia PC Suite
    Click the Add/Remove button.
    Click the Uninstall button from the Nokia PC Suite window, then follow the on-screen instructions until the setup wizard has completed removed the program.
    Restart your computer to complete the removal process.
    Windows Vista / Windows 7:
    Click Start, then click Control Panel.
    Click Programs, then click Uninstall a program.
    Select Nokia PC Suite from the list of installed programs, then click Uninstall/Change.
    Confirm that you want to remove the Nokia PC Suite program from your PC.
    Restart your computer to complete the removal process.
    Once Nokia Suite has uninstalled, please reinstall via this link.

    I did eventually find the link, in Nokia Suite, to reinstall Belle. My laptop crashed once (a Nokia USB driver problem I've reported several times to Nokia but have never been able to resolve) but, I was eventually able to reapply the update without bricking the phone. So, now I am working with it, to see if it's actually working okay.
    . . . it's a litle bothersome that, after the update and with no data restored, my Nokia account sign-in screen still knows my login name.
