Problem in calling XI generated Web Service via Java Web Dynpro

Hi experts,
I have problems with calling a web service, which was created by XI. I have already tested the web service with Altova XMLSpy. The Web Service works fine.
But when embedding this web service into Java Web dynpro application no message flow is given. I have two views one Selection View and one Result View which should show the answer sent by RFC-Call.
<b>My Settings in NWDS:</b>
During configuration of web dynpro I have choosen 'Import adaptive Web Service Model' --> Select wsdl file via local file system --> 'no logical destinations - use WSDL URL for metadata retrieval and web service execution'.
The model is also not shown in diagram view although I have added into the diagram.
The web service was created on XI 7.0.
Should I do any other settings e.g. in Visual Administrator, Web Dynpro Content Administrator?
So can anybody help me.
Thanks a lot.
Regards,
Mario

Hi Aviad,
thanks for your fast reply.
But in Web Service Navigator my Web Service is not shown, because I used the SOAP Adapter.
<b>My Web Service link:</b>
http://<host>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:SRV_GBD_WS_GET_DEB_DETAIL:CC_GBD_WEBSERVICE_SENDER&amp;version=3.0&amp;Sender.Service=&amp;Interface=%5E*
During executing Web Dynpro I got following errors:
1. 'The system cannot find the path specified'.
2. com.sap.tc.webdynpro.model.webservice.exception.WSModelRuntimeException: Exception on creation of service metadata for WSDL URL

  • How to consume the Abap web service in Java web-dynpro

    Hi Everyone,
    I want to consume ABAP web service in java web dynpro.
    so when i tried to create model in java web-dynpro, it gave me an error message saying "Invalid WSDL or WSDL not found".
    i think this error message is because, to access the WSDL of abap web-service, we need username and password, but the dialog box in java web-dynpro is not programmed to take username and password from us and send it to the server to get the WSDL.
    i came to this conclusion because i was able to successfully test my abap web-service in java portal. the java portal asked me the username and password to open the WSDL.
    So, please help me to consume the abap web service in java web-dynpro.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Vikas

    Hi Vikas ,
       while creating a model in web-dynpro try to use the "import web service model" option and if you are using local server choose the local server option so that you can get the available web services which are in server, select one among them and continue you process.I think this is the some what easy way .
    If you want use the URL for wsdl better to once test the available service in server and copy that WSDL URL and paste over  WSDL textbox.
    I think this is pretty help ful to you

  • JDeveloper 10g 10.1.3 Web Service Question: java web service calls another

    I am looking for what I think should be a simple example/tutorial but so far no luck. I am using JDeveloper 10g 10.1.3 and the Oracle Application Server.
    I want to do this:
    - create a simple Java web service
    - deploy it
    - create another simple Java web service, that makes a call to a method on the first service
    - deploy it
    client->WSfront->WSback
    I want to keep this as basic as possible.
    Although I have found examples of how to create a web service proxy, there are no examples that I have found that show how to use that proxy in another web service:
    I did what I thought were the right things; generated a proxy for the first web service, and used that proxy in the second web service's source Java class. However when I deployed and tested many classes were missing: all the classes the proxy class depends on.
    I actually managed to get something like this working but had to manually create the .ear and .war files for WSfront, explode the archives, and manually add the missing classes to its WEB-INF/classes.
    I am comparing this to things like Weblogic Workshop in which doing this exercise is a snap.
    Is there a simple graphical way to do this in JDeveloper?

    Hello again,
    I am quite surprised I got no responses to my query below.
    Can anyone explain how I might do this?
    Please feel free to respond to [email protected]

  • Consuming 3rd party web service in Java web dynpro application

    Hi All,
    I am working on a scenario where external(3rd party) web service has to be consumed in WD Java application. I am provided with WSDL file. Let me explain how I usually consume other webservices:
         Create model->AWS model->Remote Location/file System->provide url->create/choose service group->finish
         Then I would generate the code in custom controller by applying template
          I assign provider system as local for the service group in nwa.
    This is normal process to me. I am struck with this 3rd party web service. Please share your ideas on the same. Any help is highly appreciated.
    BR,
    Manoj

    I ve created a provider system pointing to where 3rd party WS resides. i am trying to connect through WSIL. While pinging that provider system, I don't see that particular WS(that I am gonna consume). And while assigning this Provider system to service group, processing state getting 'Failed'.
    What could be reason?

  • Browser based InfoPath form deployed on a Claims based Web Application calling a Secure Web Service via Data Connection

    hi,
    We have a Browser based InfoPath Form deployed on a Claims based Web Application. We are tyring to call WCF Services that are secure using Certificates via the Data Connections on Infopath Form.
    Earlier we used to get the Data in BCS External List via the WCF Services and the Data Connections used to get the Data from the BCS External List. Due to Performance Issues, we want to remove the BCS External List and straightaway call the secure WCF Services
    via the Data Connections.
    Have anyone implemented this scenario.
    Thanks
    Ram
    Thanks Ram

    Hi Ram,
    As these are browser based InfoPath forms, you have two options
    1) Deploy as sandboxed forms
    In this case you have to create a secure store application id and then set the credentials for that account.
    You then have to export the data connection to Data connections library and modify the .udcx file to utilize the newly created secure store application id.
    This may sometime give issues related to sandboxed code service. You have to give permissions on the secure store for the user account which the sandboxed code service is running.
    2) Deploy as administrator approved forms
    This would be ideal way of doing things as you have full control over the web request if you write code behind InfoPath forms.
    3) Deploy as a Hybrid solution
    a) Write a full trust proxy solutions (extend SPProxyOperation class and override execute method) and make the web request call inside this and return the response
    b) Invoke above operation from the sandboxed InfoPath form's code behind by SPUtility.RegisteredProxyOperation(four part assembly name, operation args)
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Srikanth

  • Calling web service via SSL

    Hi,
    I do not succeed in calling a web service via SSL from within a Web Dynpro application.
    Current settings of my logical port:
    Target Address: https://...
    Authentication: HTTP authentication, basic (username/password)
    I do call methods _setUser and _setPassword to set userid and password before calling method execute() of my modelclass.
    On calling method execute(), I get message "Connection closed by remote host".
    Any suggestions ?
    Many thanks.
    Jorgen

    Can you check the following?
    1) Did you install the SAP Cryptographic toolkit for Java available from service.sap.com?
    2) Did you install the "Java Cryptography Extension (JCE)
    Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files 1.4.2". For Sun they are available here: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html (last item on page)
    3) How is the SSL server configured? Does it require client authentication? In this case you must send a client certificate.

  • Wrong data when consuming web service via ABAP

    Dear all,
    we tried to consume a web service via ABAP and used one of the various existing how-to papers from the internet in order to develop everything.
    The development was not that difficult, but when we now execute our ABAP, we noticed that
    - the first 100 returned rows from the webservice are completely correct
    - then we receive 10-15 completely incorrect rows (empty fields, redundant lines, etc.)
    - the rest of the data (60 records) is correct again
    As we nearly all objects have been generated automatically via SE80, I do not really know where this problem might come from. We double checked the original data and there everything is correct.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for your feedback,
    Andreas

  • Invoking Siebel CRM OnDemand Web Service via BPEL

    I'm trying to invoke a Siebel CRM OnDemand Web Service via BPEL. Basically, the Siebel guide says to post to a url with user/pwd to get a session ID returned from a cookie. I did that using embedded java and have the session ID as a variable in my BPEL process. My problem is with now calling the Web Service to perform the action. I have a WSDL from Siebel, but the guide says to use an HTTP post with the session ID in the url and the XML in the body. How do I do that? Shouldn't the WSDL handle that when I create the Partner Link? Do I need to use more embedded Java for this or can I set up a Partner Link? I created a Partner Link and it shows the methods I want to use, but I get the following error when I try to call it because I don't know where to add the session ID:
    <ErrorCode xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">SBL-ODU-01006</ErrorCode>
    <ErrorMessage xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">Internal Error: Session is not available. Aborting.</ErrorMessage>
    Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Please let me know if you need more information.
    THANKS!

    The Siebel OnDemand web services can accept the siebel session token in the URL. Append ';jessionid={%sessionIdFromCookie%}' to the end point. Obviously this has to be done dynamically. Refer to the article called 'Making BPEL Processes Dynamic' (http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/bpel_cookbook/carey.html) pay particular attention to the 'Eliminating address dependency at run time' section.

  • Web Service From Java class, serialization problem

    Hi,
    I want to create Web Service from Java class, I made java project, generated web service from it, create web service archive project and deployed it to WAS 6.40.
    My class have 2 methods,
    public int add(int a, int b);
    public MyResponse doSomthing(MyRequest req);
    I can succesfully call add method from Web Service Navigator, it works fine but when I call doSomthing methods I get the following error:
    <b>
    Deserializing fails. Nested message: XML Deserialization Error. Result class [com.mycomp.sap_tech.ws.MyRequest] does not have property [Amount] of type [java.lang.String]. It is required to load XML..
    </b>
    Any ideas how to resolve it?
    P.S. MyRequest class is exposed throw VI, has default constractor and public getters and setters for all properties. It implements Serializable as well. Any guesses?
    Thanks in advance,
    Victor.

    Hi Bhavik, thanks for response.
    as I already mentioned it implements Serializable, so it is not the problem.
    Thanks Avi but it didn't helps iether

    Hello,
    I observed strange behaviour with OpenESB, Glassfish (build 33) and following scenario:

    web service client -> HTTP SOAP BC -> JAVAEE SE -> web service (as EJB) -> another Web service
    the following exception prevents success:

    When I call both services separately they work correctly, when I don't use JBI it works correctly too.
    Should anybody help me solving this problem?
    Thanks in advice, Vlado

    Fine,
    I've found out that this problem is caused by different classloaders assigned to directly (EJBClassloader) and through-JBI (improperly configured URLClassloader) called web services.
    I've moved my question to GlassFish forum (http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=24901&tstart=0) beacause of it's "technical" nature.
    Despite this, any help is welcome:-)

  • Return NULL when invoke Web Service via UTL_DBWS

    Hi all,
    right now, i'm using UTL_DBWS to acces Web Service via database.. but when i'm trying to get data from WEB SERVICE, using utl_dbws.invoke , i got NULL value.
    It happened if The result more than Varchar2 / 32767 byte.
    i'have tried to change code by :

    sys.UTL_DBWS.release_call (call_handle => l_call);
    sys.UTL_DBWS.release_service (service_handle => service);
    end;
    Thanx for Any Help

    The basics are simple:
    - format a valid SOAP envelope
    - use UTL_HTTP to make the call
    - process the response (typically XML output)
