Problem in check table

hi all,
i have a table.i mapped field of that table to check table field.check table has 5 columns.out of which one is primary key.so when i am using first table colume in my application it is showing only primary key values of check table(help).but i want promary key and some other column values.
how can we do that one.i donn't want to create search help

If you only want to validate the field values then try to use Value Table.
use that table in the domain (PS_POSID) of this perticuler field.

Maintenance View & Viewcluster & Check Table

Hi all,
I created a Viewcluster which includes three Maintenance Views. As you know after running the Viewcluster and when you enter a value to a field, the program checks the value according to the check table.
In my example for REVUS field check table is USR02. So whenever I enter a value to REVUS, it checks USR02 table, and it gives an error if I enter incorrect value. The question is if enter just space (blank), it accepts is - it doesn't give error. What is the situation here? How can I prevent to enter blank value to REVUS.

Yes, this solves the problem. When I did like that it gives this error : Message no. 00 055 (Make an entry in all required fields).
I found another solution too. I'd like to share with you.
In the Maintenance View, we can define a Selection Condition for REVUS field. It should be like that Operator: NE Comparative Value: <blank>. So when we do this the Clusterview doesn't allow to enter blank value and gives this error: Message no. SV 033 (Specify the key within the work area)
It seems that second solution is better because if I choose the first solution when I need to change or modify the maintenance dialog I think I will need to change the screen again.

Seems like you have a material number field (domain with conversion routine MATN1 or alike) and table TMCNV does not have the entry with key 'MATCONV', check the where used-list of message BMG 135. I assume this entry comes delivered by SAP, so try to restore it.
Also search for OSS notes with "TMCNV" or "BMG 135".

Problems with a table in PDF`S footer

Dear sirs,
We are having problems when trying to run a PDF with Adobe LiveCycle Designer tool.
We are working with a PDF which is composed of a header, the main body and a footer. We have created a table (table1) at the footer and
another one at the main body (table2). This last table (table2) may overflow therefore it will genarate two pages for our PDF.
On both pages appear the header and the footer correctly but in the last page it does not write the data from the table included in the footer (table1).
We have no problems with the table included in the main body
In the attachments, I send you the screenshots of both pages in which I have marked in red the part where we have error.
May you help us to solve our problem?

Check the data in RSA3 for the extractor that you use to bring data .
You must be using the data source 0CO_OM_CCA_09. Check the data and reconcile and you will get it.

Check table and its effect in AET - Application Enhancement Tool

Hi fellows,
I created a Z-field using AET, and assigned a check table to it. I did not populate the dropbox values, as I have a check table for the field. As far as I know, a check table for a field means "you cannot enter a value which is not stored in the check table", is that false?
I made my field visible in the configuration, but I am able to enter any value in that field.
For your concern, the check table I assigned to my field is "BUT000". As you can tell, my aim is to restrict a user to enter a value here only by business partner numbers. I did check the structure INCL_EEW_BUT000 too, under the .INCLUDE here comes my new Z-field. When I click on it, it shows that its check table is BUT000, and its domain is BU_PARTNER, which comes with no surprise. Its length is 10 CHAR as well. But in the transaction, I am still able to enter any value there.
Is there any other thing I should be doing?

Fyi, I've been testing AET with check table on an IDES system (SAP CRM 7.0). There are oss notes available about AET/check table program errors for SAP CRM 7.0 with correction instructions. In CRM 7.0 EhP1, that issue's been solved. In 7.0 EhP1 if you do exactly as I've done, no problems will occur about populating field values of the check table.

We were in same situation as you. As we extended customer repository there were lot new fields having check tables and extract program is not capable oto dynamically extract those new fields check table entries.
For this, we end up modifying same program to extract additional check table entries and as well modified XSD for import manager to import new set of entries.
Also we scheduled this program to run every night as batch process and MDM import manager picks file and process into MDM lookup table if there are any new entries .
This is working fine for me.........

Problem with a table control

I´ve a problem with a table control. It has 3 columns which one is a checkbox.
I can fill all fields but in the moment I mark the checkbox this line must be unwritable. How can I do it?

Assign a function code to the checkbox column....
so when u check / uncheck any entry, PAI + PBO will be triggered....
In the PBO during the loop of table control, check the checkbox field value. if it is 'X', make the row readonly
by looping at screen and setting screen-input = 0 for rest of the columns.

I gotta insert an internal table value simlar to a field with entry help/ check table (for example, BSEG-BUKRS) in an ADOBE print forms.
And the function give to me an error because the help table field doesn't exist.

How to add check tables or search helps to search help parameters?

Hello Forum!
I have made a Z-Search help, and I have a problem with some of my parameters.
The field (MARC)-EKGRP (Purchasing Group) has a check Table (T024) and the matching search help (H_T024).
I seem to find no possibility to add this check Table search help to my EKGRP parameter in my Z-Searc Help.
(Therefore, the End-User has to type it in Manually, there is no F4 funktionality...)
Is there a way to do this?

PS: I´m experiencing the same problems with other fields as well: to parameter (MARA-)MFRNR I would like to add the seach Help 'KRED', for it appears on my Z-Search Help. And so on....

This is certainly the right direction to look for a solution.
However, i can not get it to work.
In debugger Mode I have populated the SHLP-FIELDDESCR field 4AVAILABL with X.
Result: The button for the search help appears. But when I click on it, nothing happens.
I than also tried this in combination with populating the fields:
REFTABLE
CHECKTABLE
No search Help window opened..
I did not find a fileld where I can indicate the Search help in the SHLP Structure.
Am I missing out on something?

Reg value table and check table

Hi Friends,
I have defined a value table(ZVALTAB) for a domain and defined the relation ship between check table(ZCHKTAB) and dependent table(ZDEPTAB). Here value table and check table both are different. My problem is while I am entering the values into check table, it is not restricting the values to enter into check table even those values are not in value table. And while I am entering values into the dependent table through the menu option Utilities->Create entries then also foreign key is not working. But when I use the SM30 then the foreign key is working. So can any body explain me when this value table restrict the values and why the option Utilities->Create entries is not validating the foreign key relation ship.

Hi,
Value Table will just provide you the possible set of values. It won't restrict u for the wrong entries. Moreover whenever u enter entries thru Create entries no user interface is available. The constraints whatever we give is not at all stored in the Data Dictionary. Only the user interface which takes care all about this. Hence it wont restrict you. For this u have to create table maintenance generator for your table. Then it will restrict the values against check table.
Both Value table and Check table will provide u possible set of values. But only the check table will restrict the values.
