Nokia E72 - Problem with Lotus Traveler 8.5.1.3

I have 2 Nokia E72 correctly configured with Lotus Traveler that don't send outgoing the email...
This is my test and configuration:
a) Scenario with emails/calendar without contacts to sync
The devices work perfectly without contacts... ( I receive the emails, and I can send the email, and I can manage the calendar)
b) After that I sync my 5700 contacts from my Notes Address Book ( are them too much for my device?)
- First Device - The device don't sync all contacts and I can't send out my email
- Second Device - The device sync all contacts and I can't send out y email
In both case the email go into local OutGoing folder...and don't send to the server...
There are some problem with 5k of contacts on Nokia E72?
In the Nokia E71 all work correctly ....

So why don't you try to sync less contacts, and to see then, whether the problem is solved ?
Then it already helps you to identify whether or not the issue is related to the number of contacts...

How to configure Lotus Traveller in Nokia E71

I have done that before on my Pre running webs 1.4.5. I google and followed some instruction on how to manually add email account for notes traveler and it worked for me. From email app, I just added an email account thru manual setup, chose mail type as EAS, provided notes traveler URL, entered user id and password, no need for domain field, then clicked sign in. This created account ok for me. It also automatically sync calendar for me as well. No need to go thru web interface to notes traveler to add it. But I saw my palm device added ok from notes traveler interface.

Nokia E7 Nokia Belle - App Lotus Traveller, Smart ...

I need for my work the Lotus Traveler, this app is one of the reason that I bought a Nokia E7, and now with the Belle I missing it.
The Lotus Traveler appears in the specs of the Nokia Bussines Phone like a feature and now this app in ovi store is not avalaible.
Also I bought the Smart Office of Picsel, the best app for Office and now missing too...

I am having problem as clrc10. Before updating I had no problems connecting to my BT hub with wi fi. But after updating I can not connect and when I do (no one is going to believe me on this)all my wireless connections in the house drops but I can not get internet on my phone.. It says its connected but no data being received or sent. First my understanding was the hub is not working. BT has replaced my hub, I am still having the same problem. I have tried it with other wireless networks as well with no success.
I have re-installed Belle few times to see if the problem gets resolved. I am having the same problems.
If any body got any suggestions on how to fix this please help me.. I need to download some of my apps from ovi that I had bought.

Are you unable to uninstall it from the app manager in the main settings menu? How about long pressing the app in the app drawer and dragging up to the notification bar? Does the app have a phone admin property checked in Settings-Security-Phone administrators? Sometimes, if it does, apps will not uninstall until unchecked.

Lotus Traveler Address Encoding for Apple Devices Problems with Z10

we have problems with the Lotus Traveler Address Encoding for Apple Devices IBM Notes and Domino wiki
We are running Traveler 9.0 with BES 10.1 and 10.1.0.2354 on the Z10.
When composing a new mail addresses from our Domino NAB are shown like this: [email protected] instead of the name. It seems to me that name search is first looking to the Internet address field in the Domino NAB. In our case this field is empty (and cannot be filled with an address). If the field is empty, the User name or the Short name field seems to be used. This fields are filled with Domino like names like John Doe/City/Company. The Traveler Server will convert these names (see link above) and the Device (Z10) should only show the common name instead of the converted name.
This is not working on our Z10s. The converted name is always shown like [email protected] and you don't know the real name.
Is the problem known? Any workarounds?
Edit: Further investigations have shown that the conversion works if you use an address in the mailbox the first time. If you use it later again, it is coming unconverted from the address chache. Also if you perform a remote search from the contacts app the converted name instead of the common name is shown.

While your idevices still having apps downloaded by the old Apple ID, Apple Store will ask you for the old Apple ID and password to updated them. But, if you delete all apps downloaded by the old Apple ID, then download again by the new Apple ID, Apple Store will not ask you anymore for the old one.

E6-Lotus Traveler

I had recently upgraded from E75 to E6.
My office uses Lotus Notes traveler Mail and my office configured the mail with a old Exe.
The problem was that when I press the mail button in the phone I do not go to lotus notes traveller. I have to go to my message option and with thin that there is a folder called lotus inside which I have to select my In-box. This was rather cumbersome. My IT told me that the phone has not come with Lotus client preloaded and if they reinstall using the setup mail option once the lotus client is installed, my problem will be solved.
When I checked with Nokia care, to my greatest surprise, I am told that E6 touted as their business phone does not support Lotus Traveller."We would like to inform you that Nokia E6-00 does not supports Lotus Notes Traveler." Not something i expected from Nokia.
Now I am in a fix. If somebody can suggest a work around that would be great. Tks in advance.

At first, Traveler (my version is 8.5.2.1) workes with the E6 for sync of contacts, calendar items and mail. Anyway there's no support for putting an information on the main screen to get informed about new mails, as there's only a widget for the Nokia Mail. Hopefully Nokia will update the software asap for drect support of Notes I'm just working on with my E72...
Maybe someone's good programmer and developes a widget for the main screen - everything will be fine.

IPhone 3G cannot connect to the Lotus Traveler service on LotusLive Notes

I have this answer from IBM regarding conection between my Iphone 3G and Lotus Live:
IPhone 3G and early iPod Touch devices cannot connect to the Lotus Traveler service on LotusLive Notes
This issue also applies to Lotus Traveler services where the authentication mechanism requires HTTP session cookies as part of its authentication scheme.
There is a known issue with Apple iPhone 3G and early iPod Touch models running iOS 4 that prevent it from using HTTP session cookies in the Exchange ActiveSync account. If you are using one of these devices that has been upgraded to iOS 4, and you are trying to connect to a Lotus Traveler service that requires HTTP session cookies, such as LotusLive Notes, then the device will fail to connect to the service. After manually configuring the account or installing a profile, when you open the Inbox or other folder in the mail application, you will see the generic error "Cannot Get Mail : The connection to the server failed.".
Further examination of network traces would show that the Apple device is making its request without the requested session cookie and instead there is a header in the data named X-Bad-iPhone-No-Cookie.
The IBM workaround is:
Contact Apple support for a profile that can be installed to enable HTTP session cookies for the Exchange ActiveSync account....

Try the following steps:
Plug into iTunes, and click "check for updates." There may be a new network settings file to update (separate from the firmware updates).
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Restore as "new iPhone".
Replace the SIM (from AT&T)
Make appt. with Apple store "Genius Bar."

Invite from Lotus Traveler shows wrong time zone

Question: why is the time zone always showing as Hawaii on calendar entries sent using Lotus Traveler and which I accept on my iPad?
Here are the facts:
1. I am an iCloud user (on my personal iPad and Mac)
2. I access work emails/calendar on my work iPad using Lotus Traveler
3. I send an invite from my work calendar on my work iPad and accept the invite into an iCloud caldendar on my personal iPad.
Result: Invite shows correctly on my calendar on my personal iPad but when I open Calendar on my Mac, the invite will ALWAYS shows as "Hawaii" timezone.
I've tried all combinations of timezone support on/off etc. The problem also does not present itself if I accept the invite from Calendar on my Mac.
I've taken alook at the .ics file that is origanlly sent and the TZID is "GMT +10" format as opposed to "Australia/Sydney". If I look at the .ics file on my Mac, it as "Hawaii" as the TZID.
Do anyone have any ideas?
There are a few posts of similar issues from a few years ago, but the issue seems to have been resolved in previous OS versions.

I don't have an anwer to the previous in this thread but I believe a related question. I recently received two invites to meetings from a Lotus Notes v6 user. Each repeated weekly on a Tuesday for 10 weeks and one meeting followed the other. The first posted to iCal perfectly. The second posted a meeting on the Tuesday in the first week at the correct time. The first repeat however posted 24 hours later (not a week later) and then repeat weekly but on the Wednesday (not Tuesday) but at the correct time.
I have examined the ics script of both meetings. The only difference appears to be that the meeting that posted correctly had DTSTART and DTEND both on the same date (in Universal Time) where as the one that incorrectly posted the repeats the meetings spanned midnight in Universal Time. Are there any patches or ways to fix this. Can I edit the script and then re-post it to iCal so as to "trick" iCal into placing this on the correct day?

Memory problem with my Nokia 3220

Hi,I am new here and I have a memory problem with my Nokia 3220.I deleted all of my stuff in galery exept the BlueSquare theme and Nokia Tune but it says that i only have 483kb free memory and galery has 1,7mb memory taken. I have the same problem recently. I bought my nokia 3220, 3 years ago and all was ok but now I download some free themes from a web site and suddenly I realized that my cellphone has less memory. In the phone options says that I have 2,2 MB in my Gallery when actually I have only 800 KB in my Gallery. I don't know what happen!! Maybe it's a virus or what is the solution?? Problem with Installing Nokia Ovi Store in E51

This means that the Ovi Store is currently installed in your E52 phone, what I can suggest is try checking under Application Manager > Installed Application, check if the Ovi Store is there. If you can't see it, try to perform the soft reset (press *#7780# on the main screen of the phone and it will prompt you restore all original phone settings? phone will restart. Press YES and it will ask you for the lock code 12345.) If anything else please reply to this message.

Problem in configuring Terms of Payment

I'm facing a problem during configuration of payment terms in which i give 15% discount to the customer if paid within 15 days & also the credit period is 15 days for net payment. When i try to configure the same i get an error message FC114 - Enter periods in ascending order, since the cash discount period & the credit period are the same.
Payment Terms - Within 15 days 15% discount, Within 15 days due net

your requirement is not clear, for both the options are on the same day, there should be some difference in days for a discount and net payments in any business, try to collect correct requirement from your client. It may be further 15 days from the due date for discount, then it becomes 30 days.
How do you offer both options to your customers, in any business i did not heard such terms,

Problem with configuration of wifi newtork- dhcp

i've got a small problem with configuration of wi-fi network.
i use dhcp network.
there are some errors about network during boot up (but its to fast for my to write it down)
after log-in i have to setup network access by typing
