Problem in contract distribution

Hi All,
We are working on SRM 4.0 classic scenario. We are getting an error message while disributing the GOA in application monitor as "<b>Processing of IDOCs of type BLAORD03 im system BRD302 canceled</b> "
We have checked all the customization and IDOCs. Attributes are also maintained for Pgrp. '

SRM 7.0 Central Contract- Distribution to backend failure

Hello experts,
We are implementing SRM 7.0 Central contracts scenario with PI.
The Contracts get created and Released but the problem is that the Distribution to backend fails. The Status in BBP_PD shows 'Distribution Incorrect' and the RZ20 gives an error 'Backend data cannot be read'.
We checked all the configuration settings (including the PI settings) and everything seems to be in order.
Would appreciate if someone could throw some light on the potential cause of the problem.

Message must have created . check all SRM outbound transactions .but PI could not catch them.
Note 1284369 - User attributes check in Contract distribution via services - what is your SP level in SRM 700.
The sap stratergy in earlier version
table in ECC BBPD_CTR_IDOCREF with message 019-This will result in setting the GOA status to 'Distribution Incorrect'.
so SAP might have tried the same way in CCTR as well, Once message are created and this message number like IDOC number updated in ECC table for the further refrence .so like wise SRM trying to communicate the same to ECC but it would have failed.
do you remeber when GOA idoc fails this table we will have reference number and reprocessing idoc.
like any reference of your input must register in one ECC table but there may have this table or some other reference table.
/SAPSRM/CL_CH_SOA_MAP_CTR_OUT CLASS DO SOME trick and see what is happening here

SRM 7 Contract Distribution not possible in PPS - is it true ?

Hi SRM Gurus,
I gather that the SRM 7.0 Central Contract are not distributed to ECC 6.04 in PPS environment.
( Ours is SRM 7.0 ECC 6.0 Enhp 4 with PI 7.11 on PPS - ECS.)
Correct me if i am wrong.
If so, is there any other way to distribute Central Contract to ECC . Even it its partial distribution.
Thogh, I hv config for CCTR following the SNote 1268821. To start the problem, the Distribution button on the header of the contract is disabled. CCTR tran type configured both in SRM and ECC.

You can try reverting the note 1354971, to get an assign distribution button active at item level.
Interfaces(XML) which are used to transfered the central contract are not extended to all the fields related to PPS functionality. Eg. Guaranteed Minimum.
These fields will not be transfered to backend and other process like release value updation to the backend contract has limitation as PPS funcalities can be used only in extended classic scenario.
So we have a limitation and also this functionality will not be supported in PPS.
Nevertheless, you can enable this funcationality and use with the limitation.
You will have to handle this through custom meta data handle where you need to create dynamic class and method and maitain in the customizing table /SAPSRM/V_MDA_HC. You can enable the Assign distribution button and link in the dynamic class.
You can check the configuration in the standard meta table /SAPSRM/V_MDA_HD for reference.

Problem in Contract Generation

Hi All,
I am facing problem with E-Sourcing application.
when we upload any word document in system it gave below error.
There is problem with contract generation web service.
But contract generation web sevice is working fine.
When searched for this got following troubleshooting steps ( which are basic steps)
Steps for troubleshooting:
1. Log into the "System" login for the specific customer.
2. Go to System Properties.
3. Look for the property called "contractgen.serviceurl".
4. Copy the whole URL in this property (ends in asmx)
5. Open a new browser and paste the URL from step 4.
This should open a WordService page. If you get a page not found error, then the service needs to be restarted.
My WordService page is opening. Hence no help here.
Next step is only to Create CSS message to SAP.
But before that if anyone had encounterd this problem before then please let me know how to proceed here.
Also when restarted WebLogic server, in C:/fci/logs we can fingd one error as follows.

Please check SAP Note 1011267 - FAQ - Questions about Contract Gen
There is a clause in the note for the error mentioned by you. There is a solution where SAP can help you if yours is a hosted environment.
If yours is a On-premise,you can restart the Contract Generation Webservice, due to some bad data going thru

Question: There is an error that states "There is a problem with the
Contract Generation web service. Please contact your syustem
administrator
Solution
This error indicates that the contract gen server is not running. This can
happen when bad data is passed through the server. The operations group at

Hi Kashif,
Distribution point is a classification in terms of whether data is coming from internal SAP user or organization unit.
The distribution point is relevant to the following distribution types:
¡ ORI (post)
Distribution point receives a copy of the originals
¡ LET (post)
Distribution point receives mail with references to documents
¡ PLO (plotter)
Distribution point receives a file for plotting
¡ COV (list of documents)
Distribution point receives a printed list of the documents that are to be distributed.

I have a problem in the distribution of an application via GPO.

I have a problem in the distribution of an application via GPO.
Actually the problem is due to non-implementation of the changes of the MST transformation file.
I have an installer in .MSI format, during installation the program requires the following parameters:
- DatabaseInstance "SRVAPPXXXX"
- DatabaseName "AAAAA_BBBBB"
- DatabaseUser "dbuser"
- DatabasePassword "password"
- SharedComponentsPath "\\SRVAPPXXXX\PATH"
Then through ORCA I prepared a .MST tranform file that in the Property section corroborates the above parameters
The installation is successful, but when the program is launched it faults as if the parameters supplied were empty.
So I made a further step, I tried to run the installer from the command line:
msiexec /qn /l*v c:\log.txt /i "\\SrvappXXXX\Share\Setup.msi" TRANSFORMS=\\SrvappXXXX\Share\Setup.mst
and also:
msiexec /qn /l*v c:\log.txt /i "\\SrvappXXXX\Share\Setup.msi" DatabaseInstance="SRVAPPXXXX" DatabaseName="AAAAA_BBBBB" DatabaseUser="dbuser" DatabasePassword="password" SharedComponentsPath=\\SRVAPPXXXX\PATH
In both case installations ends without any error.
In the first case it does not work, in the second one it does
Before relaunching the installation I have always previously totally removed the program.
Any suggestion is very welcome

That's the strange thing, in the log fiile everything seems to have worked fine.
By the way it is a 18k lines file, however:

No Contract Distribution with PPS

Hi guys,
We are implementing SRM7 with ECC6 EHP.
With reference to sap note 1354971 Disable Contract distribution in PPS, does it means we cannot use Central Contract function together with PPS activated?
As I understand the concept of Central Contract is to enable an Operational Contract to be used as valid source of supply in both SRM7 and ECC6 (and for this to be possible it has to be distributed to backend ECC6). However, if the distribution disable how would the contract available as source of supply in ECC6?

I am trying to get the contract distribution working but for some reason I seem to be missing something very fundamental.
I think that I have done all the required config steps and PI has been implemented accordingly.
Would you have any config notes / documentation that you would be will to share so that I can hopefully get to the bottom of it.

CONTRACT DISTRIBUTION CCTR Vs GOA

Hi All
Learnt that SAP has some improvement on DISTRIBUTION for CCTR contract ? Can any one explain how it is Indeed helps compare to GOA.
In GOA --> in the Header it self we go to distribute Porg, plant , Doc Type and Release value.
How new enhanced CCTR Contract Distribution works. I believe seperate folder for DISTRIBUTION in CCTR.
what steps needs to be followed on simple and comlex distribution?.

Hi Muthu,
From what i know, CCTR can be referenced and used both in SRM and ECC, wheras, GOA can be used IN ECC only (after it is created and distributed from SRM).
Pricing would be controlled from SRM.
You need to activate Business Function, set the appropriate doc types and condition types in ECC.
CCTR Distribution / qty usage updates works using PI while GOA uses IDOCs.
Additional fields for say CCTR number / item number appear in ECC after Business function activation. You also need to add the workflow user in the Org structure (Local POrg/Pgrp).
Not sure on the Simple and Complex scenarios though.

SRM 7 Contract Distribution not possible in PPS

We're on SRM 7 / ECC6 EHP3, and activated PPS. I have been told that for PPS the distribution is not supported completely, and hence the functionality is disabled, NOTE 1354971.
My problem is, since we have activated the PPS functionality in all the landscapes we have at present. I can not switch PPS off or refer to another system without the PPS. By reverting the note 1354971, i have only managed to get an assign distribution button active at item level. I would have assumed, the contract/GOA should be able to be distributed at header level. Consider a contract with 1000 items.
Can please someone tell me what is the process for distributing a contract completely. Not just selective items.
Moreover, this does not work, when i have outline items/sub items in the contract.

Problem with contract and service not matching... no help by phone or in stores

My contract says 4gb shared plan, my bill says FamilyShare1400... 15+hours in person and on the phone and lots of promises but the bottom line is I AM NOT IN THE PLAN I CONTRACTED! My bill has been more expensive, my services deleted and I was charged for what should have been included. 26 January is when this all started.... problems pulling a 'stupid phone' off my account made it impossible to put me into the 4gb shared plan (Excuse #1 - and I've heard many more in the multiple calls to VW) Every agent makes Promises Promises... Every agent ASSURES me that they have taken care of it, and it will be corrected - and that they will put notes on the account so anyone looking at it will KNOW what had happened... Today I'm told that there are NO NOTES!! I'm ready to walk away from VW - a relationship since the early 1990s means nothing to them..... How can I get my service straightened out, guaranteed? How can I get VW to take some responsibility for their inept handling of this customer? 15+hours because VW doesn't do their job is 14.5 hours too long!

Problem with data distribution from HCM to e-Recruiting

Hello masters:
I have a problem when I try to distribute data from HCM to e-Recruiting. I´m getting code 51 just for the PA infotypes segments (E1P0000, E1P0001, etc.). The error message tha I am receiving is:
"Error in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype".
My e-Recruiting system is SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0, so I'm using Business Partners for storing data from PA infotypes.
I'm using message type HRMD_ABA, basic type HRMD_ABA05.
I think it could be the implementation HRRCF00_INBD_NEWMOD from the badi HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC, because it usually get inactive even though I go to activate it.
Does anybody knows what can I do?

Ifyou are using EhP1 for NW 7.0 you should have E-Recruiting 600 EhP 4 on your system.
I never encountered this special error message so far, so i have to "guess". The message indicates that the system had trouble reading some infotype information.
The ALE distribution for EhP4 is storing the PA data in new infotypes 558*. The error you get points to a missing BAdI activation. If the BAdIs are not activated correctly, ALE will try to write the information from the PA infotypes 1 to 1 into the E-Recruiting system. But E-Recruiting does not know the PA infotypes which should exactly lead to the error you get.
Could you check the following settings:
BAdI                     Implementation
HRSYNC_P                 CONV_HR_DATA_TO_EREC -> active
HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC      HRRCF00_INBD_NEWMOD -> active

Problems with cost distribution "by value"

Hi All,
We have the following problem in cost assignment in shopping cart: We can choose different cost distributions: 1. by percentage; 2. by quantity; 3. by value. When choosing 3 - "by value" and distributing values to different WBS-elements with budget check, system comes up with several error messages saying budget overspend, also we exactly fill in the open budget on theese WBS-elements. The main reason for this seam that our backend system R/3 4.70 just knows the two posibilities 1. - by percentage; 2. by quantity.
Do you guys know a possibility in customizing or elsewhere to deactivare the possibility 3 - by value, since I think back end can not work with this kind of distribution.

Cost Code problem in Contract Manager 12.0

Has anyone encountered problem creating a Cost Code? When
we tried to create one with the "Planned to Commit" value
greater than 999, it simply refuse to work.
It
states that the field would not accept comma, but Contract
Manager automatically puts a comma in there when the value
is greater than 999.
It essentially makes
Contract Manager 12.0 useless to us. I am wondering if
Contract Manager 12.0 is a Beta release.

This was a bug in v12. Fixed in v12 SP2.
