Problem in copying a standard maintenance view

Hi to all experts,
My requirement is to make an exact replica of the standard view V_T71ADM23 . I have copied the view into a custom z view and in the table maintenance generator created a function module and provided a screen . but the screens in both standard and custom view which i have generated is different. So i copied the standard function group in the table maintenance generator of the standard view into a zfunction group and assigned to the custom view . If i do that im getting errors like
View C_V_T71ADM21 has no active version and no entry in the control directory
View VT71ADM19 has no active version and no entry in the control directory
View VT71ADM20 has no active version and no entry in the control directory

after going into sm30 click maintain entries

guideline matrix
hit enter
i tried with both standard and custom
the screens are different in standard and custom some fields are missing in the custom view which i copied

Additional Field in standard maintenance view

Hi Experts,
I would like to add an additional field plant in maintenance view V_TKZU3_CO (SPRO PATH: Controlling --> Product cost controlling -->Product cost planning --> Basic settings for material costing -->Overhead -->Define costing sheets ).
What I'm planning to do is to modify the standard maintenance view V_TKZU3_CO and regenerate the table maintenance generator so that the new field will be added and populate a ztable a copy of table TKZU3 + plant...
However what I'm afraid of is when I regenerated the table maintenance generator using the standard function group OCOE, it might impact some other standard object included..
Do you have any idea on how can I add the additional field without modifying the standard? Or if I will apply the standard modification I'm planning.. what are the possible impacts?

hense i went through writing a program to delete the records from table mmim_rep_cust
but it says that record not found.

Problem in copying a standard function module!

Hello there,
                 I need to copy the FM, RS_TABLE_LIST_DISPLAY, to a Y function Module. But I am not able to copy it as a single FM, I have copy all the FMs in that function group i.e. SETB.
                 I, then copied that standard function group SETB. I am getting a strange error message while activating the copied version. The error which I am getting is:
The parameter "INTTAB" of the global interface has already been defined outside the function.
INITTAB is some defined internal table.
Also the include in which this error is getting appeared is LY.....$07 something. I have tried to many times. Not able to resolve the issue.

possibly a service pack has been installed just in the time when you created the copy. I found
 data: lt_sort type kkblo_t_sortinfo. "n890109
in the include mentioned on our system. Please check if the includes are identical in development and production server (remote-compare from editor).
But we also have a copy of this in our system. In the copy I found type name like alv_type_sortinfo but no kkblo_t_sortinfo.
Note KKBLO was the predecessor of ALV.
Must have to dio something with version changed by service pack.

My requirement is like, generally Team leaders do shift planning of their reportees in my company.So I need to give access to all the team leader. Problem in copying view maintenance screen

I have requirement to copy a standard view with maintenance to z view . The view name V_T71ADM23 which has a function group HRECM00ADMVIEW05 i copied it to z function grp but the problem is im getting this error when im trying to put the custom function grp to the table maintenance generator.

Maintenance view on the standard table

Hi,
We need to have a maintenance view on the standard XYZ table .
Since it is a std table. we would not be able to create a maintenance view since we need an access key.
So we have to :
1. Copy the table XYZ into a Z_table. (just the structure alone).
2. Create a table maintenance generator on this table.
3. When the data is being saved in the maintenance view, update the record in the XYZ.
How we can populate the XYZ when the Z_table is populated with data?
Can anyone help in this regard.

I am referring to standard table "comc_settyp_attr" in SAP-CRM system . I have copied it and created a z_table. But its not allowing me to create a maintainance view. Its giving an error :
GUID in table key (Field name CUSTINFO) not supported.
But when i create the z_table without the GUID(char 32) as key field, it generates table maintenance. But the key field is required.
Can you help me in this regard.

How to create a new view by copying from standard view in IC webclient?

I need to enhance a sap standard component (BP_Factsheet), inside it I need to create a new view by copying from an existing standard view (Acitivities). However when I try to make a copy, I was asked for destination BSP application, I entered the Z-Application which I used when defining enhancement for the component. After the copy, I don't see the new view.
Then I tried the destination BP_factsheet, instead of the z-application, then after the copy, I can see the new view. However since it's in SAP application, it seems like it's a MOD, not enhancemnet, and inside the new view, the classes (for context, context nodes, etc.) are not in custom namespace (not starting with Z).
So please let me know how can I make a copy of sap standar view in custom namespace.

When copying you can put any BSP name..normally the practice is to prefix the standard name with a Z.
Secondly when you want to make changes to the individual classes and methods you need to right click and say enhance. Then the AZ class names etc would be generated. The view should appear in the component wherein you copied the original view from.

SE93. Enter a transaction name. Create. In the pop up enter a title and select 'Transaction with parameters'.
Next screen fill the following;
Transaction 'SM30'
Check 'Skip first screen'
In the table control at the bottom of the screen
Name of screen field 'VIEWNAME'
Value <your table name>
Name of screen field 'SHOW'
Value 'X'
Save.
Job done.

Table maintenance view problem

Hi. I'm trying to generate a table maintenance view for a custom table, and I keep getting an error message. I go into the table maintenance view generator and fill out the fields. I'm selecting a function group that has ZHR0 as the development class (which is correct). Then when I click on the create button a screen pops up with the workbench request number. When I click on the continue button, I get the following error message: "The maintenance object description has no transportable class." If I click for more information, this is what it says to do: "Either assign the maintenance object description for object ZTS_ADJST_REAS to acorrectable development class, or assign the table forthe generation of the maintenance module to a function group with non-correctable development classes." Apparently the maintenance object description somehow got assigned to temporary class $TMP. Where do I go to change this?

Hi April,
You can use standard program RSWBO052 to change the package. Enter the object and mark the checkbox -> Execute -> Place the cursor in the object -> Right click mouse -> Reassign -> Enter new package -> Save.
or you can go to transaction SE80 -> Select Package -> Enter &TMP -> Hit Enter -> Find your object -> put the cursor and right click -> Other functions -> Object Directory Entry -> Change -> Change the package -> Save.

Problem with full backup with copy only in maintenance plan sql server 2008

I am starter DBA for sql server in general
I have problem related to backup with maintenance plan in sql server 2008 and 2008 r2
I created maintenance plan to take full back up with copy only option checked, but when I check the back up in backupset table is_copy_only column it shows 0 for databases that I run job for.
I did the same steps on sql server 2012 and I checked backupset table is_copy_only column it shows 1 for databases that I run job for .so it works as it should be
Note: all the servers I mention here are production servers

Copy-only Backup by using GUI ( SSMS) in SQL Server 2008 but it was not available in Maintenance Plan "Back
Up Database Task". Now in SQL Server 2012 It is included in "Back Up Database
Task".

Problem regarding updation of Z-table through maintenance view

I m facing problem in updation of Z-table through maintenance view (SM30).
The scenario is that I have one customizing field in my Z-table which is checkbox.
Now I need to populate 2 fields in Z-table on tick of this checkbox and clicking of SAVE button.
For this I have created one module ''change_field'' in PAI.
Actually my database table is being updated but as soon as the control left my module all the updation that take place vanishes away.....
So please help me in this matter.

Strange problem when copying standard program SAPF100 (transaction F.05)

Hi there ABAP'ers,
I've got a very strange problem I can't figure out :/
I'm doing a copy of a standard program - SAPF100, which stands for F.05 transaction.
I copy it to ZSAPF100 and after launching it, filling a selection-screen with data and F8 I'm receiving a dump
GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED
Field symbol has not yet been assigned.
The termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPF100" in "DO_SKC1C".
The main program was "ZSAPF100 ".
The termination occurred in line 253 of the source code of the (Include)
program "SAPF100_SBEW"
of the source code of program "SAPF100_SBEW" (when calling the editor 2530).
and when debugging the place in Zcode where error occurs - really a fs is not assigned, whilst in standard code is assigned.
Why such situation appeared? I just copied the standard program and launched a copy :/ How to deal with that problem?
