Problem in creating desktop

Hi
I got this error message when i tried to create the desktop url in weblogic portal admin
The element type "netuix:handlePageFlowEvent" must be
terminated by the matching end-tag "".
is there any way to identify
my guess is the instance lable or definition lable is duplicated.I want to know which table in database will have these values.

this does appear to be an invalid XML problem.
However...
events are declared in .portlet files and .portal files reference .portlet files. When creating a desktop we don't parse the .portlet file. We parse the .portlet file on server startup or a change to the .portlet file.

I am creating the desktops using PortalAdmin. The problem is that, although my pages are added to desktop properly, my portlets can not be added. The pages of the desktop are empty. I checked my database tables and see that PF_PORTLET_DEFINITION table is empty while PF_PAGE_DEFINITION table contains the definitions of the pages. Your suggestions are really appreciated.

Looking for app to create Desktop groups/fences for OSX..
I do music and like to keep my most important folders on my Desktop since I access them very frequently.. I saw that there's a few options out there like "Desktop Groups Lite" (link below):

The only problem is that I'm reading a lot of reviews on it from users who are saying that their files/folders are going completely missing, etc.. And that's a big issue that I'm not ready to deal with, considering the importance of these folders to my work/career..
^This is a picture of what that "Desktop Groups Lite" app looks like.. and is pretty much EXACTLY what I'm looking for.. but I'm a little bit afraid of it "eating" my contents and losing them forever..
Does anybody have any recommendations or feedback for an app that can accomplish something like this?

Problem in Creating .txt report

I need to create the report, if the document having fpo, $$$, TK, 000 etc...
OR,

Problem with creating site from another computer!

Hi
I have WebDB 2.2 and Oracle8i instaled on the same computer. I have a problem to create site from another computer. There is not any process when I try to create site. There is always 0%.
But I have no problem with creating site on the origin computer.
Does anybody know something about it?

I am just not clear what to do once I have made changes and have published the new information.
You shouldn't have to do anything. iWeb will save the information in the Domain.sites file. You can keep this file in a folder, or even on your desktop and iWeb will launch from a double-click on the file.

Creating desktop shorcut and start menu entry using java

Hey Guys
I have a requirement in which i will need to install a desktop application .After installing i will need to created desktop shortcut icon and start menu entries.
I have worked very less with desktop application and hence i need some help in figuring out how to achieve this.

Thanks for ur reply .Just to give you some background on this one.
We were using Java web start to do the installation and it used to take care of creating the shortcut icon and start menu entries.
The problem is that we have decided to move away from java web start and use the exe approach of installing .We wrap our JAR files in an exe and make use of Launch4j. See - launch4j.sourceforge.net/ .
The launch4j software helps in bundling all our JARs into an exe and when the exe is clicked it invokes a class present in our JAR file .However it does not create any icons because of which we will need to do that manually.
Any ideas on this?

Adobe fails to solve a problem they created

Last week, Adobe Flashplayer stopped working in both Firefox & Safari on Mac OS 10.4.7. I do not want to use Chrome as my default browser just to get Flash working.
This is not an Apple problem; they referred me to Adobe which then charged me $39 to fix a problem they created.
I am furious.
For those of you who are having the same problem:
Uninstall Flash
Go to Library, Macromedia folder: delete Flash
Go to Library, Cache, delete Flash
THEN do not go back to the main install page; instead, go to tinyurl.com/fplayer111 and download the installer for Flash 11 which I HOPE is the 11.7 version referred to in the notice on this thread as I am really over dealing with this.
One problem: the tech could not tell me how to move the installer off my desktop without endangering the fix.
If you have a solution, please let me know.

Flash is on its last leg as far as I know. The advent of HTML 5 and the ability to embed other media for web viewing (that's compatible with smart phones) will drive the final nails into the coffin. Apple has had a long battle with Adobe over Flash, and technology has saided witht hem against the format.
Unfortunately for a lot of desktop computer users, it's still a necessity.
Is your Mac Intel or PowerPC? If It's Intel I'd seriously recommend moving to a newer version of OS 10. Tiger is outdated.

Creating desktop buddy

I need some help regarding a requirement i have.
We have a application with call logging system , and send notifications of the problem calls to the customer by email when the status changes or any update happen.
What we need is kind of desktop Buddy which will allways sit on the clients machine and keeps a track of all the problem calls created by that particular user. Whenever any update happen to the call logged the buddy will pop up and provide link to the user to log on to the application.

Facing some problems in creating a custom tabs in CRMD_ORDER Transaction

I am facing some problems in creating a custom tabs in CRMD_ORDER Transaction code in Solution Manager of SAP.
Actually my requirement is adding of two tabs(one is header & another is item tab) in the above Transaction, i was able to put one tab i.e header tab but i was not able to keep item tab. i found a badi CRM_CUSTOMER_I_BADI in which documentation was given & i processed in the same way.
For information i used the Badi CRM_CUSTOMER_H_BADI for header tab which i was able to add the tab & all functions like change, save working Good.
But i want how to add custom tab in which item details were to be attached.
i was done with the necessary SPRO settings(or Tcode CRMV_SSV) & able to see the 2 tabs thats it, but the functionality save is not working for the second tab & not saving in table CRMD_CUSTOMER_I (in this table there is one CI include where we added our item fields).
And also i had a doubt whether to use ALV or Table Control. And if possible can any one can sent me the screen design & the code for the above requirement in detail.
can any one who have knoweldge in Solution Manager & in the above Badi implementation can give me a right solution which will help me a lot.

Office 2013 - Creating desktop shortcuts using OCT

I need to create desktop shortcuts using the Office Customization Tool. But how does one do this when they have both 32 and 64 bit machines in the environment? The "Start In" path below is obviously going to be different when dealing with
32 and 64 bit OS machines (c:\program files vs c:\program files(x86))

please try recreating the EJB , just check whether the home and remote interfaces and the business methods in the home and bean classes are defined properly .Also check whether the ejb editor is showing all the business methods

which says that VC7.1 can connect to SAP backend
and web services only, and there is no direct connection to the db.

Problem in creating a build.xml for weblogic portal application

I am facing problem in creating the build.xml using weblogic.BuildXMLGEN tool .
a) Below is the structure of my portal application

b) Now I executed below utility to generate the build.xml "

c) Based on the above step , build.xml got generated .
d) when I execute "ant compile" target from the command prompt , I see the below exception

a) this is a upgrade project [ upgrading from wlp 8.1.4 to 10.3.2 ]
i.e we are using weblogic portal 10.3.2 version.
b) Searched some sites/forums regarding the above error, and it says something related to "jwsc" ant task [ i.e while compiling a webservice(JWS) ], but we see this error while compiling a normal controller(jpf) class :(
c) we are using "ant compile" target which internally calls wlcompile task , while executing wlcompile this error is thrown .
