Problem in customising replication

Hai all,
While carry on customising replication we are able to replicates other objects and get the Done status except for DNL_CUST_PAYPL and DNL_CUST_PROD1 where we are getting the status as running. Could anyone help us to resolve it?

Just check have u maintained any numbering scheme for R3PRODHIER?
Product hierarchy structure in R/3 is seen via SE11 in view PRODHS (Structure of Product Hierarchy (T179)
In CRM,
SPRO -->Cross-Application Components -->SAP Products --> Product Category --> Define Category Numbering Schemes
If not maintained,
Maintain product hierachy : R3PRODHIER with levels 5-5-8.
Then through smwp delete the entry of DNL_CUST_PROD1 and again downlaod the object and check whether it is working or not.

If u define your condition type is manual and if you do any changes in quantity of order in change mode then manual condition will not be determined automatically. Again u have to enter it manually and then save it in change mode itself..

Problem in Database Replication in Oracle 9i

i am trying to do database replication but am facing problems in 9i.i have two machines on network and both have a database created.i also have a common schema in both the database (testuser is the name of schema). i have created database links between the two machines and when i check the link through OEM console then it shows that database link is active.when i add object to my master group it shows the status as need generation and when it try to generate replication support for the same the status changes to DOINGGEN.i am not able to get the status to GENERATED.my database names on both machines are different.could that be a problem.do we need to have same database name on both machines.plz help me out with this and if possible give me step wise details of how to do replication.i have tired it by following the steps given in oracle documentation.

use enterprise edition, i think you are using standered edition. moreover there should be primary key column in replicated tables.

Replication hub update problem with fractional replication

I have a deployment with two DSEE 6.3 instances set in traditional MMR mode (ie. default replication settings, no fractional replication or such like non default replication configuration), on two different (RHEL 4.x) hosts.
Moreover, I have a third directory instance on a third host (RHEL 5.X) running ODSEE 11gR1. One of the DSEE 6 master is set for fractional replication,
all attributes but userpassword and another user-defined attribute are replicated. Due to fractional replication limitations, the ODSEE instance is configured
as a hub, since I want to be able to manually populate and update both "unreplicated" attributes on the ODSEE instance, without having those updates to be propagated to the DSEE 6 instances.
The problem is that in spite I try to ldapmodify the ODSEE instance with the default replication account (cn=replication manager,cn=replication,cn=config),
I'm returned an LDAP 10 (LDAP referral) error.
As a workaround, I found that adding a "full rights access for replication manager" aci, and then modifying the nsslapd-state attribute of the ODSEE replica before
a manual update works fine but looks complicated.
I used to be able to update a DSEE 6 (or previous versions) non master instance thanks to the replication account without problem so I'd like to know what's
the best practice with ODSEE, to do what I want to do, since using the replication account seems "complicated" and not recommanded anyway, according to the admin guide.

So I would check two things:
1) Can pam_unix and Google authenticate against the Directory if the password is stored in clear?
2) If the password is stored in clear on a master, and the password storage scheme is SHA or crypt on a remote replica, does the password replicate to the remote replica in the correct hash?
If (1), you could consider setting the storage scheme to clear. It's less secure, but it might be a workable solution to a bad situation.
If (2), you could consider expanding your topology by setting the password storage scheme to clear on your masters and allocating distinct replicas for Google and UNIX, each with the appropriate password storage scheme.
If this all seems suboptimal to you, I agree wholeheartedly. This is not a use case that the Directory deals with well, in part because applications are not supposed to authenticate by retrieving a password string and doing an out-of-band comparison. When applications do this, they bypass the standard LDAP BIND process, i.e., the protocol mechanism that standards-based LDAP password policies use for all their policy enforcement and notification. In general, if an application doesn't BIND to authenticate, it forgoes one of the major benefits of the LDAP protocol and information model.
More to the point, there can only be one password storage scheme for a given entry, because there can only be one password policy for a given entry. Applications that impose a requirement on the specific storage scheme are bad, as are applications that impose a specific requirement on the DIT, because, like the DIT, there can only be one storage scheme. One application that imposes such requirements can be tolerated of course, but once you have two such applications, each with conflicting requirements, you are in trouble.

Problems : Payment conditions replication

I have problem in business agreement and account contract replication between SAP CRM and SAP ISU.
When I replicate a business agreement from CRM to ISU, it's (almost) OK, but terms of payment is not the same between CRM and ISU.
When replicate a account contract from ISU to CRM, I obtain the following error (with transaction code SMW01 in SAP CRM) : "Enter the payment conditions" (Message no. CRM_BUPA_FRG0130222).

Problem about bdb replication

I have two room,room 1 ,room2,have bdbs A1,B1,C1 in room1 ,A2,B2,C2 in room2 ,and all this servers are in one replication group,
A1 as master and others are replica,when the network connection between room1 and room2 broken,servers in room1 elect A1 as master
and A2 as master in room2,then my part of my data will be writen to A1 and part will be to A2,I'm wandering what will happen
when connection between room1 and room2 is recoverd?????will the data in all six servers be same??

Have you taken a look at the section on Network Partitions in
the Reference Guide at:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/rep/partition.html
From there, for example, consider a replication group with N members.
The network partitions with the master on one side and more than N/2 of
the sites on the other side. The sites on the side with the master will
continue forward, and the master will continue to accept write queries
for the databases. Unfortunately, the sites on the other side of the partition,
realizing they no longer have a master, will hold an election. The election
will succeed as there are more than N/2 of the total sites participating,
and there will then be two masters for the replication group. Since both
masters are potentially accepting write queries, the databases could
diverge in incompatible ways.
If multiple masters are ever found to exist in a replication group,
a master detecting the problem will return DB_REP_DUPMASTER. If the
application sees this return, it should reconfigure itself as a client
(by calling DB_ENV->rep_start), and then call for an election
(by calling DB_ENV->rep_elect). The site that wins the election may be
one of the two previous masters, or it may be another site entirely.
Regardless, the winning system will bring all of the other systems into
conformance.

Problems in Contract Replication SRM

Hi Experts,
I need your help....i'm trying to make the contract replication from backend system by the program BBP_CONTRACT_INITIAL_UPLOAD.
But there is a message erro in coditions as down
''End of discount condition validity > end of price condition validity''
The replicate will work but all the contract cames in SRM with memorize status and i have to edit all the contracts...
if i change the date of condition in r/3 contract, i can make the replicate without problem. But this is not a correct solution.
there is a way to solve this?
I saw the notes in SAP but my Support Package is the last one (SAPKIBKT11)

We are facing the same problem and are trying to figure out the solution from you inputs.You have suggested 2 options
1. BADI : BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE
But this BADI will be called when a contract is to be created in the backend and how will this BADI be helpful when we are replication/uploading contracts from backend R3 to SRM
2. Maintain same pricing conditions in both R3 and SRM: could you explain in details what you are trying to say.

Problem with customised subscreen in ME21N

I am using BadI ME_GUI_PO_CUST & ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST to add a customized subscreen in the header. But the subscreen is only visible with ME23N & ME22N not with ME21N . I am new to BadI, so help is needed.

I have figured out the issue but do not the idea to fix the issue. I have put a break-point in the badi ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST, having the method called FIELDSELECTION_HEADER & run the tcode ME21N. In the line l_persistent = im_item->is_persisten & IF l_persistent EQ mmpur_yes and found out that the value of mmpur_yes equal to 'X', l_persistent is blank.
Suggestion is widely accepted.

Problem in Customising JTable's Functionality

Problem Scenario :
We are facing a problem related to JTables. In our GUI, we have used JTables and the data model that we are using for the table is a bit complicated. Complicated in the sense that we want different values(multiple) in each cell of a particular column in the table and we want to use JComboBox at that particular cell. For achieving this we have set the values in the JComboBox in its renderer class. But to set the user selected value in the particular cell JComboBox we initialized a new JComboBox in the renderer class. With this the GUI is working fine but it has raised a problem that if we renderer the component another JComboBox appears in the same cell. The problem is obvious as we are initializing a new JComboBox in the renderer class, but to solve our purpose we don�t have another way.
With the kind of data model we are using is it possible to create a JTable with combo boxes in a particular cell having different option values in each cell?
Could someone suggest a solution for this problem?

Problem with Customised Hover Menu.

hi Experts,
I have implemented the drop down Hover menu for TLN using DIV tags. Generally the menu works fine but when the content area consists of a PDF of Flex Controls like VC iview the menu hides behind the PDF or Flex Controls.
Searched other threads but not able to understand what has to be done.
Would anyone please help me to handle this problem.

Problem with asynchronous replication

Hi All ,
In asynchronous replication, I am getting huge number of records in defcall view.
its very difficult to take care of each row manually.
Is there any way to create the INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE script from defcall
or with the help of other views
by which we can keep all the DB( in asynchronous replication) in sync.

If the PUSH job has been executed and yet the calls have failed, they would have moved to DEFERROR.
If they are in DEFERROR, you can execute DBMS_DEFER_SYS.EXECUTE_ERROR

Problems with customising menu template backgrounds

Hi.
I am experiencing problems with changing the background of the included disc menu templates in PE9. I can change the background image to anything i like on the computer and all seems to work OK but when i burn the project to disc (PAL_Dolby DVD) the custom background image has gone and been replace with the default template imagine.
Anyone got any ideas whats going on!

This issue showed up with PrE 9. I do not recall reading of it with earlier versions.
I do not know if the PSD files have some corruption, or if some change in PrE 9's code "did the deed," but many have filed a Bug Report, and I ask that you please do, as well. It should be an easy fix for Adobe (but I am not a coder, or software engineer, and could be wrong).

Performance problem in ODI replication

I have defined bulk and CDC interface to replicate data from one source to another source. In CDC replication, the volume of rows changed is very high. It takes lot of time to replicate.
In addition to that, I have defined logical primary keys in ODI to transfer data as no keys are defined on source and target datastore. I donot want to use flow control strategy as it decreases the performance further.
When duplicate rows are loaded from source, odi fails due to duplicate rows. i do not want odi to be failed because of this.

Data appearing on replica sites naturally lags behind the master,
simply because it takes some time to transmit across a network, and
apply updates to the database.
Would you rather have read operations on the replica wait until they
"catch up" to some certain point in the sequence of transactions
generated by the master?
Your an ack policy of "NONE" allows the master to race ahead of the
clients without bound. If you were to use the "ALL" ack policy then
commit operations at the master would try to wait until all replica
sites had received the transaction, and you would get closer to having
all sites progress in sync. Of course that slows down the master
though.
Is this the kind of "stale" data you're talking about, or something
more long-term?
