Problem in data coming to PI system from SAP?

Hello All,
I facing problem with the data coming from SAP system to PI system.
in VT02n give the shipment number and after that create some thing and trigger an IDOC.
when the data come to PI system, i checked in moni i saw that  data getting mixed.
means for example:
IDOC data in we19:
data1 --- abcdef
data2----12345.00
When i check idoc data in PI moni:
<data1> abcdef   1<data1>
<data2>2345.00<data2>
where and how the data in second tag coming into first tag. where this can happen.
any one faced this kind of problem, please let me know.
Thanks and Regards,
Chinna

problem solved, i have not imported latest meta data into PI in idx2.
now i have done it, now its working fine.

  • Distribute different versions of data to 3rd party systems from SAP ERP2004

    Dear fellow SDN users
    I am working in a large retail company where we are about to implement a new store system. The new system should be implemented in phases, where each phase covers one or multiple countries. Until the implementation is complete, our old store system should still be supported.
    My problem is that we also need to support multiple versions of the systems, which is something we have never done before. Do any of you guys have any experience in how to differentiate versions of the data being sent from SAP to 3rd party systems? The scenario today is:
    SAP ECC 6.0 -> SAP PI 7.0 -> STORE SYSTEM1
    And the scenario we would like in the future:
    SAP ECC 6.0 -> SAP PI 7.0 -> STORE SYSTEM1/STORE SYSTEM2
    (Where it is possible to send several versions of data: e.g. ARTMAS ver. 1 to SYSTEM1 and ARTMAS ver. 2 to SYSTEM1 and ARTMAS ver. 1 to SYSTEM2)
    The first thing that came to my mind was to differentiate on IDOC extension and then program different routines per extension when sending the idocs, but I guess there should be an easier way.
    Any idea is greatly appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Chris

    Hi Chris
    I guess it depends on how the information you want to send to various partner systems differs, but have you considered using reduction?
    I am at a client currently where we need to send similar information to a number of systems - for example Customer information using the DEBMAS message type, is going to three seperate systems.
    To do this we defined 3 reduced messages - Tcode BD53.  This not only reduces the load placed on PI/whatever middleware system is used by eliminating unnecessary data from each message variant, but allows the message to be treated differently by PI, using different data mappings, distribution models etc.
    Hope this helps

  • I need the Log Report for the Data which i am uploading from SAP R/3.

    Hi All,
    I am BI 7.0 Platform with Support Patch 20.
    I need the Log Report for the Data which i am uploading from SAP R/3.
    I extract the DATA from R/3 into BI 7.0 DSO where I am mapping the GL Accounts with the FS Item.   In the Transformation i have return a routine on the FS Item InfObject . I am checking the Gl code into Z table for the FS Item .
    I capture the FS item from the Z table then update this FS item to Infobject FS item.
    Now i  need to stop the Data upload if i do not find the GL code in the Z table, and generate report for all GL code for which the FS item is not maintained in the Z table.
    Please suggest.
    Regards
    nilesh

    Hi.
    Add a field that you will use to identify if the GL account of the record was found in the Z table or not. Fx, create ZFOUND with length 1 and no text.
    In your routine, when you do the lookup, populate ZFOUND with X when you found a match (sy-subrc = 0) and leave it blank if you don't find a match. Now create a report filtering on ZFOUND = <blank> and output the GL accounts. Those will be the ones not existing in the Z table, but coming in from your transactions.

  • Problem to run the Crystal report inside from SAP B1 based on SQL views.

    Hello,
    I have a problem to run my Crystal report inside from SAP B1 which is based on SQL views.And the SQL views are stored in a separate database in SQL server.The error which i am getting is saying the the tablename does not exist.What i need to do in order to sort this problem.
    Great if somebody can help me to sort out this so that i can run my report based on SQL views stored on separate database other than SAP databases inside from SAP B1.
    Edited by: rozenagrawal on Apr 19, 2011 11:51 AM

    Try using a SQL synonym in your company database for the views outside the company database. I don't know if SBO will let you get away with it, but its worth a shot.
    If your company database is MyCompany and you have a view called MyView in Views database, assuming the view belongs to schema dbo, and you want the synonym to belong to dbo schema in your company database, run this:
    Use MyCompany
    go
    create synonym dbo.OutsiderView for
    Views.dbo.MyView
    go
    select * from OutsiderView
    The select statement should return the contents of MyView in the Views database while you are connected to your MyCompany database.
    For more info, see the Books Online for MSSQL on topic synonym.
    You will need to change your CR options to include displaying synonyms along with tables, views, etc. You may also need to grant select to B1 users.

    Mike,
    You should honestly search the SDN site for consuming web services with ABAP.  There are some good examples.
    However the general procedure is easy:
    1.  Generate an ABAP proxy using the WSDL provided to you by the external program
    2.  Configure an HTTP destination for the server of the web services (needed for HTTPS calls)
    3.  Configure the logical port for the web service using lpconfig
    4.  Write the abap code to call the webservice via the proxy.  Works very similar to FM call in my opinion.
    To expose a webservice(bapi being called from outside) you need to do a little more work
    1.  Create a web services for the RFC enabled function module via SE80
    2.  Use wsadmin and wsconfig to make the service available
    3.  Publish the service out to the UDDI as needed.
    Once again this code is pretty well documented in the standard help and SDN.  Do a simple search on ABAP proxies and you will find what you need.
    Take care,
    Stephen

  • Compare dates coming form Source system & update higher one in target syste

    hi all,
             Mt reqt is to compare dates coming from source system & update highere one
    Ex--) E1EDP01 has been repeated 3 times in Idoc segemnt E1EDP20 , then date with higher one need to be updated in target system
    like 14/12/08
          15/12/08
          16/12/08
    Here 16/12/08 need to be updated first & then the other ones one by one.
    Anybody guide me in comparing these dates functionality .
    Send me the code !
    Regards
    Chaithanya

    Hi Michael,
                     I was unable to trace the exact issue of how to track  E1EDP01 Dates & compare it.
    I had created UDF to compare dates coming from E1EDP01 Segment
    following is my code --->
    // This UDF return 1 value for highest date and 0 for not highest date.
    DateFormat mydateformat = new SimpleDateFormat("ddMMyyyy");
    Date mydate1 = null;
    Date heightDt = null;
    for (int i=0; i <a.length; i++)
      if (a<i>.equals(ResultList.CC)) continue;
      try{
         mydate1 = mydateformat.parse(a<i>);
         if (i==0)
          heightDt  = mydateformat.parse(a<i>);
         if  (heightDt .before(mydate1))
         heightDt  = mydate1;
    catch(Exception e){}
    //result.addValue(  mydateformat.format(heightDt));
    for (int i=0; i <a.length; i++)
    try{
    mydate1 = mydateformat.parse(a<i>);
    if  (heightDt .equals(mydate1))
    result.addValue( "1");
    else
    result.addValue( "0");
    catch(Exception e){}
    My Problem here is in my Idoc if there are  Multiple E1EDP20 segments & here date would be repeated 4 times . I have to compare highest date out of 4 & send it to the target system.
    which I have done it, but here my problem is  the segment E1EDP01 is repeated & iam unable to find highest date individually to the node level.
    Sorry I should have explained this before only.
    Can Anyone guide me in comparing the date at segment level.
    Regards
    Chaithanya

  • Meet a problem of data exchange for sale order from CRM to R3.

    Dear Friends:
          I do the data exchange for sale oder from to R3 today , the problem's detail is as follows:
          When i save a sale order in CRM (Version is 5.0) . it can automatically generate a bdoc which bdoc type is BUS_TRANS_MSG. but the bdoc status alway is "Sent to receivers (not all have confirmed)". and the original order in CRM can not be change .it quote that "Document is being distributed - changes are not possible",  so i check the order status analysis in detail .it presents two error messages ," Event 'BEFORE_CHANGE', attribute '     FINI': Error code for function module 'CRM_STATUS_BEFORE_COMPLETED_EC' , "Item is not yet completed in OLTP system".  so i check  the order in R/3 ,it has already been create and without any error messages.
       Would like to tell me how to solve it . thanks your any idear..

    Hi Benjamin,
    When performing uploads to R/3 from CRM there is a response from the OTLP system that is sent back to the CRM Middleware to confirm that the data records were received and processed correctly.
    Here is a checklist you can run through to verfiy that the connections, systems and objects that are needed are all in place:
    <b>On R/3 system:</b>
    - Check R/3 outbound queue (transaction SMQ1) for any entries that are not reaching CRM.
    - Check that all RFC destinations on R/3 are defined correctly and are pointing to CRM
    - Check the CRMCONSUM table in R/3 to ensure CRM is registered as a consumer
    - Check the CRMRFCPAR table in R/3 to ensure that order objects are valid for exchange between R/3 and CRM
    - Check for any short dumps in R/3 (ST22/ST21)
    <b>On CRM:</b>
    - Are there entries stuck in the inbound queue (SMQ2) with R3AU* names?
    - What does the CRM Middleware Trace show (SMWT)?  Sometimes this has more detail than the specific BDoc overview (SMW01)
    - Check for short dums in CRM (ST22)
    Let us know what else you uncover and we can work from there.
