Problem in display file content

Hi all,
I've a big problem about using the iFS content display function. My project needs to build up a document search engine and the search result, included the part of the document content, is required to display on the web interface.
Most of the document I searched is PDF and MS word documents. I tried to use the feature in
oracle.ifs.beans.document and get the content out and I tried so many function call there but the result seems not too successful. Following is the function call I tried before.

Document.filterDocument() ;
Document.getFilteredDocument() ;
As I know, it used the INSO filter to filter the document. The content return is fine for me, but not the format. No matter I put true/false into the Document.filterDocument(), the HTML format will also return instead of plaintext.
I expected to return plaintext in this function so I can customise the format. But why it coudln't be?
I guess there is something wrong about the INSO filter but I have no idea how to configure it....

Nothing is return using ths function and it ususally reutrn the error message to me. I've no clue....

It return some strange byte code which is not what I need....

Maybe it is not relevant function but I tried it.

I checked the API of getContentStream() and getContentReader(). it will return the binary data of the document and the readable content will NEVER return to the Reader or InputStream variable.
In addition, even the SimpleTextRenderer with ifsfileSystem.renderAsStream() function is used, the data returned also not the text data of the document. WHat I can get is the properties of that document object, not the useful content in the document.
For the INSO filter Java function filteredContent(), no matter the true or false option chosen in the function, it can only return HTML result. It cannot return the text data!!!!!!
I tried so many solution and it's also not work. I start feel ashame to use Oracle iFS!!! How can the function to be such a unreliable???

Now I'm generating DME from transaction F110. And I've noticed that it happens in prod.system, in QAS or dev. no problem with showing files.

How to display file contents on a web page

On unix platform I have created a class that can read the contents of a file and display them to the standard output. But now i want to display these file contents on a web page through jsp. On JSP code I have imported this class and want to assign a record from a file and write it to the screen using html. I think the class needs to be modified in order to return the string record read from a file so that im able to access it from a jsp and assign it to a variable the I can display it on the screen. Can someone help me with these code?

Problem with Sender File Content conversion

I have a flat file with the following structure:

I need to send an IDOC (ORDERS05) per CL and I also need that the PR goes together with the CL.
Something like that:

The problem is that I am not able to attach the PR with each CL because the PR is written once at the beginning.
I have tested all the posibilities in the content conversion area but I don`t find the way to achiveve that.
Maybe, Have I to do something in the mapping program?
Nested substructures are possible in the File Content Conversion?

We can handle this in mapping as follows
Crate an Intermediate structure Identical to your input structure. Just you need to add an sub element (Lets say "T" to your CL node.
This sub element will be used to remember CL node belongs to which PR node.
Map your Input structure to Intermediate structure.
While mapping PR Node of input to PR Node of Intermediate structure use a user defined function as follows
Integer ii;

g=container.getGlobalContainer();
Object o= g.getParameter("_&HLID");
if (o==null) ii=new Integer(0);
else
ii =(Integer)o;
ii =new Integer(ii.intValue()+1);
g.setParameter("_&HLID",ii);
Use another user defined function to retrieve the value of this _&HLID and put it to T as follows:
GlobalContainer g;
g=container.getGlobalContainer();
Object o= g.getParameter("_&HLID");return o.toString();
For all other fields just do a 1:1 mapping.
Then
Map your intermediate structure to destination structure (IDOC)
Here the only catch is:
For populating the value of PR for each CL
Pass both the element T and the element of PR from which you want to pick the value to a user-defined function (raise the context of both elements to the top node).
In array a we have the value of T
In array b we have the value of element of PR

Display file content in Web Dynpro ABAP

Hello,
we would like to be able to display any file after having uploaded files using FileUpload ui element in a web dynpro abap application.
for microsoft word excel files, the OfficeControl ui element can be used and for pdf documents the InteractiveForm ui element can be used.
for other formats such as '.tif', '.jpg', '.txt'..... we did not find out how to be able to display the file contents
Does anybody know if and how this could be achieved?

You may be right. Also it requires some configuration in SAP KPro ( document class etc).

Problem in display file in java applet embeded browser

hi, i am facing problem to display the file from local drive in java applet embeded browser. here is the error message i get:
Exception loading file from path:java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.util.PropertyPermission user.dir read)
i think it should be the java security problem and i have try to get the solution from internet. i try to solve by using the fllowing method:
keytool -genkey -keyalg rsa -alias yourkey
keytool -export -alias yourkey -file yourcert.crt
javac yourapplet.java
jar cvf yourapplet.jar yourapplet.class
jarsigner yourapplet.jar yourkey
but the command prompt ask me to enter the keystore password. i try to enter any password. but i show me the error:
keytool error: java.io.IOException: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect.

now i need to use these fixed field legth file and perform fcc.
under fcc of communication channel

here I Am not using any key field
when i test the scenario with test file

Check the FOLDER permission of the path.
There may be some permissions missing to access that folder .
Check with your BASIS or UNIX team.

Problem with Sender File Content Conversion Communication Channel

Hi All,
I am using XI 3.0--SP 16.
I have configured a Sender communication channel with File Content Converison which takes up a Fixed length text file and converts to XML.
My scenario is that I have some 'n' files, out of which one file has error in content conversion.
In a normal scenario I would expect other files to get processed, but they are not.
I can correct the error or even discard the error file. But I am unable to understand why XI is not processing the rest of the good files.

Problem with displaying XML Content well formatted.

Hi all,
I am developing a website which have one functionality to display XML content which is received from some other party.
I am using TextArea for displaying this XML content on my webpage. As this XML content is not at all formatted it looks very ugly for a human to read.
I want this XML content to be displayed well formatted, As Mozilla Firefox display it hierarchically and well formatted.
Kindly give some suggestion for displaying XML well formatted on a webpage.
Any comments from you people will help me.

Problems with displaying the contents in a TextArea in Swing?

Hi All,
In my project i am getting the contents of a .txt file from the server machine and i want to display it in a TextArea in Swing.
I have done that without any problem.But the contents from a .txt file that are displayed in a TextArea is not aligned property but when i print it in the console it looks ok.But when it is displayed in the
TextArea it is not aligned properly.
Plz. do provide a solution regarding this.

How to display file content in browser using servlet..? urgent!!!

i am building a application for which when a user logs in he will we redirected to page where he will have one link ,with this link a file is associated.
when user press that link he should be able to see that particular file in internet browser....
now can anybody give me a code sample of how to display a file in browser....

Problem in reading file contents in to inernal table

i have a problem with the archive file
actually i have created archive files in SAP file system i stored the archive file in a external repository.
now i like to access one of the archive file i want to read the contents of the file in to a internal table.
the starting of the file contains some unique document number i need to able to capture that document number.
i am able to read the contents from archive file but the contents are unknown charecters.
i used open data set to read the contents of the file , but i cannot resolve these unknown charecters.

Display file contents

Hi, I am learning servlets, and am trying to write my own simple upload program.
I'm trying to see first whether my code can pick up the contents of the file the user specifies. The form is set to multipart/form-data and uses POST.
Right now I'm using ServletInputStream to print out the information submitted in the request, but instead of printing out the contents of the file, it prints out all the POST parameters, including the file name parameter. It is only the file, theigh, and I want the contents of the file to also be displayed.
Can anybody please help me by describing what I could do to output the contents? Does another type of stream need to be opened to start looking at the file's contents, in addition to just looking at the POST headers and parameters?

Hi Sudhir,
I found an example which does similar to what you are looking for. Unzip the zipped file and you should see two examples.
File Read Customized will help you to read data from file and format into single column.
File Read Customized_multiple line will help you to read data from a file which has multiple rows and columns. Then it updates table on the front panel with new line read.
Please feel free to use it. I am also attaching a sample text file for you to try the example.

Problem with display of content in Windows XP - help!

Hi, I recently created a Windows XP partition on my Mac using Boot Camp and am having a problem. Everything that I open in Windows is way too big and in some cases, it means that I can't access the whole page or scroll up or down. Even when I open Gmail or other pages in Internet Explorer, they look huge. I have tried playing around with the display settings but it does not solve the problem. I am wondering if I could be missing a driver that I need or something? I did install drivers with my Mac OS X disc after installing Windows XP but I am not knowledgeable enough to be able to tell which drivers actually got installed. Any help greatly appreciated as there is a software program I would really like to run on this partition and I can't figure out how to resolve this problem. Thanks!

There was just a post or two about a week or so ago about the same problem but I'll be danged if I can find them now.
I believe one of them had an nVidia(?) card and they had an update on nVidia's web site for such a problem if I remember right. They just installed the new driver onto the Windows side and it fixed the problem. I don't know if it came from a Microsoft or an nVidia site that they found the reference to.

Iframe has a problem in displaying the content of the source in iframe

iframe displaying a RSS feed from an XML file so on subscribing to RSS, iframe goes blank and does not render any kind of control. Inspite of this, control comes for the bookmark. This functionality is working fine with all the versions of IE. but am facing thi sin all firefox versions.
