Problem in displaying graph

String[] xAxisLabels = {"1995", "1996", "1997", "1998", "1999", "2000", "2001", "2002", "2003", "2004"};
double[][] data = new double[][]{{1500, 6880, 4510, 2600, -1200, -1580, 7000, 4555, 4000, 6120}};
what is the diff between the above and below arrays
String[] xAxisLabels = new String[20];
String[] AxisLabels = new String[20];
int i=1;
double[][] data = new double[20][20];
while(rs.next())
AxisLabels= rs.getString(2);
xAxisLabels[i]=AxisLabels[i].toString();
data[0][i]=rs.getDouble(1);
i++;
i am getting problem in displaying image when i initialize directly the image is printing but when i am getting values from database and storing in the arrays the image is not displaying

i need both graph and chart.
graph to show plot after taking reading.
chart to show the reading continousely.
My problem is on both graph and chart,
Graph showing x axis only from 0 to 1.    ( But i want o to 10 atleast)
Chart showing some other value as shown in screen shot-1 ( But i want it start from 0,1,2,3... like that)
(I found something by myself. When i change samples to read as 10 k and rate as 1k in usb 6009 daq, i am getting graph from 1 to 10.
But chart is as like previous one - refer screen shot- 2; But chart is not updating properly in realtime. Is there any other method, to show graph between 0 to 10 without changing samples and rate.)
In simple, my chart should show x axis starts from o . This is what i exactly want.
( This problem will come only when i connect labview with usb 6009 DAQ. If i use simulate signal option everything goes fine.
I hope you will help me this time. Bcz i am trying this for last one week. But i cant find any solution till now

  • Scheme for Displaying Graphs in Host.VI using SIT?

    I am wondering how others tackle the problem of displaying graphs and other indicators mapped from the the .dll running in RT to indicators on the Host.VI when you cannot edit anything in the "green" area on the host that is autogenerated with SIT Connection Manager.
    My problem is that if I have 15 graphs and 50 indicators (just a guess right now, but I would think this wouldn't be uncommon for other users) I cannot display them all on the Host.VI at once besides filling a gigantic area that I have to scroll through.  A better approach would be to use queus or variables to pass between other .VIs to categorize different pages of graphs that the Host.VI can call, but I cannot edit anything in this mysterious green area so I cannot save the data to any kind of structure.
    Ideas?  I am still new to LabVIEW so there may be an SIT trick that is obvious that I don't know about.
    Thanks!

    Hi gdubb85,
    As far as the "green" uneditable area is concerned, there is actually nothing that restricts you from editing or modifying the code in those areas. The reason they are different from the rest of the code is that that area will be rescripted (i.e. overwritten) if you change anything in the SIT Connection Manager. So, you can edit those areas if you wish, but just be aware that if you use the SIT Connection Manager again after editing those areas, it will be overwritten.
    As far as displaying your 15 graphs and 50 indicators in an organized fashion, you can accomplish this by using a Tab Control. For more information on this, please check out this link.
    I hope this is helpful.

  • Problem in displaying selected page items in the title in Graph

    Hi There;
    I have a problem in displaying selected value of named page item in the graphs.
    Eg. I have in my worksheet a page item named "Location"; when I use "&WorksheetName &Location" in the title of worksheet it is displaying both the worksheet title and value of selected page item "Location" in my example.
    But when I use the same (&WorksheetName &Location) in the title of graph or Axis of the graph, it would show up only the name of the worksheet but not the value of page item "Location", instead it would print "&Location"
    Any idea why it is not able to reference the select page item in Discoverer graph? I am using Oracle BI Discoverer 10.1.2.1.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Regards,
    Nidhi Jethoo

    Hi Michael;
    Thanks a lot. It might not have been considered necessary but you do require, e.g in my case I am plotting Average value of a Parameter and it does make sense in including the name/value of Parameter(surface water temp/bottom watter temp) as an Axis instead of just a constant Parameter or say Average Parameter. So that user can plot the variation of different parameters by changing the page items and when user changes the value of parameter and export the graph he/she has the parameter name(actual value) in the graph.
    But I can include all the parameters (&Parameters) or all the page items(using &PageItems) in graph then why not individual page-item and individual parameter.
    I would log a SR and see what they say.
    Thanks again,
    Nidhi

  • Problems building a graph using sql SUM

    Hello !
    i'm curently having issues to build a particular graph :
    First, i have a database (moves) which contains 2 columns (timestamp DATETIME, dist NUMERIC), i have no problems to display a graph with these values (even using a time range such 'now','-1 hours', etc.).
    But i'd like to build a graph with for example a 2 hours range which gonna display the sum of the value 'dist' every 30 seconds. So for example, if i have 2 'dist' values (3 and 4) at 0min 30sec, the graph will display 7 and the next value will be the sum of
    the next 30 secondes dist values.
    I tried this :
    curs.execute("SELECT timestamp,SUM(dist) AS dist30 FROM moves WHERE timestamp>datetime('now','-30secondes')"
    curs.execute("SELECT timestamp,dist30 FROM moves WHERE timestamp>datetime('now','-1 hours')"
    But it looks like the column dist30 is not created, and i think this is not gonna work if i want to change the 1 hour range...
    I would like a better "algorythme", the table is filled in an other program, should i directly create a 3  columns table and SUM the dist in dist30 directly ?
    Thanks for your advice !

    Hi Subby,
    Regarding your description, are you trying to rollup the dist column by every 30 seconds in a given 2 hours range? If my understanding I correct, you may reference the below sample. As you didn't post any detail about your function datetime(after the where
    clause), so the sample is just in a usual way.
    CREATE TABLE moves(timestamp DATETIME, dist NUMERIC)
    INSERT INTO moves VALUES('2015-02-13 14:20:01',1)
    INSERT INTO moves VALUES('2015-02-13 14:20:17',2)
    INSERT INTO moves VALUES('2015-02-13 14:20:29',5)
    INSERT INTO moves VALUES('2015-02-13 14:22:37',2)
    INSERT INTO moves VALUES('2015-02-13 14:22:56',5)
    INSERT INTO moves VALUES('2015-02-13 14:27:17',2)
    SELECT timestamp,SUM(dist) AS dist30 FROM(
    SELECT DATEADD(SECOND,DATEPART(SECOND,timestamp)%30*-1,timestamp) AS timestamp,dist FROM moves) AS T --rollup by every 30 seconds
    WHERE timestamp BETWEEN '2015-02-13 13:00:00' AND '2015-02-13 15:00:00' --two hour range
    GROUP BY timestamp

  • BEx Web iView displays graph only after page Refresh

    Dear Friends,
    I am facing problem in BEx Web application iView.
    I am using the SAP Standard BEx Web iView template to call BI Report by passing parameter as below
    com.sap.ip.bi.bex?TEMPLATE=ZSD1_WR_TREND_HY
    URL is Link[http://<hostname>:52000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.sap.ip.bi!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.ip.bi.bex?TEMPLATE=ZSD1_WR_TREND_HY]
    The report got 2 graphical representations along with a table data.
    Problem is the graphs displays data representation only after refreshing the page.
    Infact the problem exists in production system and works fine in Development system.
    When I checked from portal prospective I found no difference.
    Can anybody help on this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Lakshmikantha

    hi,
    find the iview from the content administration menu in portal.
    If you are using a standard role open the role
    and trace the pages until you find the iview containing the template.
    Open the iview and check the parameter Content-BW report.
    At the field BEx Web Application Query String go to and and check the template name.
    Go to web application designer and open the above template.
    Change the parameters from the post above and save the web template as zXXXXX.
    Change the web template at iview as well.
    What i figured out is that bex handler has a problem creating an array when you are using same session for more than one charts.
    When you use seperate sessions for each chart there is no need for array creation and works just fine.
    *If you are using best practices go to Content Provided by SAP->Specialist->Best Practices and find the role and iview you are using.
    It should work..

    on X axis with values it is showing header row also..how can i avoid header row...? to not display in graph....
    As data table  source controlled by BI  so ia mnotable to maintain range for graph....
    Problem is when it is with out scalling factors it is displaying correctly in graph also..
    When iam selecting option to display scalling factor it is showing header row also in graph... coz of that graph was showing wrong data...
    cal day    Quantity
    above is with out scalling factor display..everything correct
    blank     Quantity
    cal day       KG
    When iam selecting scalling factor sys will add one more row to display... this is the problem sys did not set automaticaly to consider or to leave first 2 rows...
    How can resolve...? In 3.X it is working fine...... (There is no macro )
    Thanks

    Edited by: BK BI on Jun 8, 2010 8:56 AM

    Hi,
    Go to the workbook in development system. Find out the technical name of the workbook ( in query designer you wil find in properties).
    Copy it and go to the production system. Assign it to the required role you want. It will be visible in the perticular role in production.
    I would still suggest if possible transport the role from dev to prod. (to keep all systems in line with each other)
    Hope this helps.

  • Problem in displaying the TaxRate columns .

    Hi Experts,
                            I am having a problem in displaying the 'TaxRate', in this Query there are some different Taxrate's columns  like-  ' 'Basic Excise Duty BED@10 %',  ' Education ces@2% ' , 'Secondary Education Cess @1%',    etc.   only  4 -5  tax's value should display  at a  time  and rest of  the TaxRate's  columns whose value is NULL  should not display.
    So, I want to display only those TaxRate's  columns whose  value  is not NULL  and If there is  no value for any taxrate's column  in the data, then it should Display only 'Excempt' column.

  • Problem with displaying BLOB images on JSP page using a servlet

    hi. I have a big problem with displaying BLOB images using JSP. I have a servlet that connects to the oracle database, gets a BLOB image , reads it, and then displays it using a BinaryStream. The problem is , this works only when i directly call that servlet, that is http://localhost:8080/ImageServlet. It doesn't work when i try to use that servlet to display my image on my JSP page (my JSP page displays only a broken-image icon ) I tried several coding approaches with my servlet (used both Blob and BLOB objects), and they work just fine as long as i display images explicitly using only the servlet.
    Here's what i use : ORACLE 10g XE , Eclipse 3.1.2, Tomcat 5.5.16 , JDK 1.5
    here is one of my image servlet's working versions (the essential part of it) :
                   BLOB blob=null;
              rset=st.executeQuery("SELECT * FROM IMAGES WHERE ID=1");
              while (rset.next())
                   blob=((OracleResultSet)rset).getBLOB(2);
              response.reset();
              response.setContentType("image/jpeg");
              response.addHeader("Content-Disposition","filename=42.jpeg");
                    ServletOutputStream ostr=response.getOutputStream();
                   InputStream istr=blob.getBinaryStream(1L);
                    int size=blob.getBufferSize();
              int len=-1;
                    byte[] buff = new byte[size];
                         while ((len=istr.read( buff ))!=-1 ) {
                   ostr.write(buff,0,len);
             response.flushBuffer();
             ostr.close(); and my JSP page code :
    <img src="/ImageServlet" border="0"  > If you could just tell me what i'm doing wrong here , or if you could show me your own solutions to that problem , i would be very greatful ,cos i'm realy stuck here , and i'm rather pressed for time too. Hope someone can help.

    I turns out that it wasn't that big of a problem after all. All i had to do was to take the above code and place it into another JSP page instead of into a servlet like i did before. Then i just used that page as a source for my IMG tag in my first JSP. It works perfectly well. Why this doesn't work for servlets i still don't know, but it's not a problem form me anymore . Ofcourse if someone knows the answer , go ahead and write. I would still appriceatte it.
    here's the magic tag : <img src="ImageJSP.jsp" border="0"  > enjoy : )

  • Problem with display of JScrollPane

    I have made a small GUI.
    It has a JFrame and four JPanels are added to the frame.
    The placement is done by program and hence layout manager is set to null.
    Two of the panels contain JScrollPane.
    One scroll pane is associated with a JList.
    Another scroll pane is associated with a JTextArea.
    I am creating panel components in their respective paintComponent() method.
    Now my problem is whenever I run the code, the behaviour of the display of the GUI is erratic. Sometimes it appears perfectly fine other times the JList contents and JTextArea along with their scroll bars don't appear. I have tried running the code on different platforms and different systems. On some systems it works perfectly fine, on some it behaves erratically.
    Moreover my experience is that it is giving problem on somewhat lower configuration systems (low RAM and CPU) and running fine on higher configuration systems.
    I ran it on my laptop with 512MB RAM and centrino duo processor. (Both on windows and ubuntu it gave the same problem, random display behavior)
    I ran it on a desktop with 1GB RAM and higher processor (Both on windows and ubuntu it displayed fine)
    Does this problem relate to insufficient painting time or something of this sort? Why is this problem is coming and what's the solution?
    Thanks in advance.
    Also if anybody has encountered similar problem please do share so that I could at least say this is not a unique one.

    The placement is done by program and hence layout manager is set to null.That is (probably) your first problem. Learn to use use LayoutMangers, they save time in the long run.
    Sometimes it appears perfectly fine other times the JList contents and JTextArea along with their scroll bars don't appearProbably because preferred sizes are not set correctly. Since you are not using a layout manager that is your responsibility. Easy solution is to use a proper combination of layout managers.
    I am creating panel components in their respective paintComponent() method.That is (probably) your second problem. paintComponent() is for doing custom painting, not creating new components dynamically.
    I suggest you start by reading the Swing tutorial for example programs.

    Do Not post stuff about how Airplay doesnt work, because i dont have Apple TV and dont need to hear about it.

    If you have an external drive equal to or larger than your internal HD, clone your internal to it with either Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper. Test the clone to make sure it's bootable. Then upgrade either one. Try it out first.

  • Authorization problem when displaying icons in BW Report

    Hi All
    I have the following problem when display BW Report as iView: The report data itself is displayed perfectly but to display the icons (like DrillDown arrows, Hierarhy level open arrows) the Windows login message "Connect to <my BW server.com>:8000" appears and I have to enter BW user name and password explicitly. The system for BW is defined, the user is mapped, UIDPW method is used. Again, the report data itself is displayed, the problem is only with icons. I can see that the path to icons is like:
    http://<my BW server>.com:8000/sap/bw/Mime/BEx/Icons/s_b_up.gif
    How could I rid of this authorization request?

    Thanks! I already did this and it helped for most of icons. But for five remaining icons i still get authorization request althoug these icons are in the same path. The icons are:
    http://<server>.com/sap/bw/Mime/BEx/Icons/cascading.gif
    http://<server>.com/sap/bw/Mime/BEx/Icons/checked.gif
    http://<server>.com/sap/bw/Mime/BEx/Icons/separator.gif
    http://<server>.com/sap/bw/Mime/BEx/Icons/marked_right_35.gif
    http://<server>.com/sap/bw/Mime/BEx/Icons/loading.gif

  • Problem to display a negative number in XML Publisher output in excel

    Hi All,
    I am facing problem in displaying a negative number in XML Publisher output in excel.
    My requirement is that I have to display a negative number in brackets when the output is taken in excel format. Eg: If the value is -123 then i have to display it as (123).
    I have put these brackets using a formula column in the RDF, but it is the default functionality of excel that whenever there is a number in brackets then it automatically displays that as a negative value.
    Can anyone please help me how I can display this negative number within brackets and not as a negative digit. Is there any special tag or is there any formula which can be used to convert this into text and written in the Help text of RTF template.
    This is very urgent. If someone knows please reply asap.
    Regards,
    Shruti

    Try the waveform zoom slider. Recording louder just to get a better visible waveform would be, well, silly.
    From the manual: (click on links to see pics)
    To change the zoom level using the Waveform Zoom button
    Click-hold the Waveform Zoom button. A slider appears.

    Drag the slider. As you do, the waveform shown in all audio regions, and in the Beat Mapping track, is increased or decreased in size.

    Note: This is a purely visual function. The amplitude (level) of the waveform is not affected.
