Problem in Documentation - ListType vs DisplayType

The documentation that I have for the WebTools 2007 PL 03 has an error I just wanted to bring to the attention of anyone that cares. Hopefully it will be fixed in a future release.
Right now it shows the ListType property to be one of the following:
[L=PartList,I=ImageBrowser,C=SubCategory,M=MachineSelector]
When you actually load a page however, for example clicking on a manufacturer, it has a ListType and a DisplayType - eg.
/B1WebTools/catalog/list.aspx?ListType=F&DisplayType=L&DisplayNumber=200&MNFCode=3&Keywords=ACME
The L, I, C or M mentioned above are actually display types, which you can test by typing them in manually.
Valid values for the ListType property that I can see are N (new), F (featured), D (discounted / on sale) and the default S (all products?). I can't find these documented anywhere.
Speaking of defaults, how do I change what the default DisplayType and ViewType is for various different scenarios?

For your catalog, right click on your category in the catalog manager and go to category detail. There you can select your list type for each specific category. For the display type, the switch needs to be manually added to the link. So you can use these switched N (new), F (featured), D (discounted / on sale) in addition to any category, manufacturer, etc..

index and they are duplicating. Instead of the page numbers being

That is genius! I have been going crazy trying to figure out
why I keep getting duplicate index entries with duplicate page

I turned on the paragraph icon in the toolbar in Word to show
formatting (when you have an index you can see MERGEFORMAT and XE
for index entries in the document). I searched for "Help Desk "
(with a space between the "k" and last quote). Then I did a search
and replace with the correct "Help Desk" to delete the space
wherever this occurred. Then I updated the index, and now it's
correct like this:
Help Desk 3, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 20, 21, 24, 26
Note: For some weird reason, my small RoboHelp project (Only
about 20 topics) stopped creating the index when I generated it to
a Word doc (using RoboHelp X5). So I followed the instructions on
this forum to create a concordance file in Word to create an index.

Lightroom 5.3 crashes when using Email Photo. This problem was documented in May 2013

When will Adobe fix this problem? I saw the first complaint on-line in May of 2013. When will Adobe publish a work-around? What's causing this problem?

SUMRANGE/XRANGE : Syntax problem or documentation problem?

I've been racking my brains over this for the past two hours. 845PE Max 3 problems - well documented

-random crashes, lockups, blue screens etc particularly in games
-random loss of sound in games about 5-10 minutes in
Botth these problems many people seem to have had looking on a forum search here. The only factor that is consistent is everyone with the problem had a 300W PSU which many advisers have suspected to be too low. Can anyone definitively confirm this before I buy a 400W PSU replacement? What is the likelehood it's something else?

I have been suffering with random crashes since i built this system,about 2 months ago.I tried re-seating cpu (fresh thermal paste),swopping memory (1 stick,2 sticks),different graphics cards ( geforce4 mx 440, radeon 9500 pro),different sound card (sound blaster 5.1, on board sound,no sound!).
None of which made any difference!
I tried "throttling "back the cpu to 533.
But i recentlygot hold of a programme called BURNIN TEST PRO VER2.3,And ran the tests,Everything worked great until i tried the 2D test,No matter what i did it wouldn't run this test,I thought it might be the graphics driver and updated to 45.23 NVIDIA DRIVER, But still no luck.So i disabled HYPERTHREADING in the BIOS,And the test ran fine.
Since then i haven't had any random crashes (approx 2 weeks),Obviously only time will tell,but if your having similar problems to me it's worth a try!
p.s. I am not qualified in anyway in computers,and there might be a logical reason why the 2D TEST didn't run,And if anyone has a different input i would appreciate it. davidblack

Problems with the imadmin purge user command

I am using iMS 5.2 hot fix 1.05, iDA1.2sp1 and iDS 5.1
When I try to use the imadmin purge user command I get the following errors:
[email protected]: purging user
[email protected]: purge user failed
Failed connection refused.
If I don't use the -g 0 option then it reports success, but the user account is still in LDAP...
I found a reference to the imadmin user purge command not working when you have iDA 1.2patch1 and iMS 5.1 patch 1 unless you make a change to your resource.properties file but i have tried the file both way and I get the same error with the purge user command.
I can use the imadmin delete user or imadmin modify user without any problem. I am just having trouble with the imadmin purge user command.
Any ideas?

This problem is documented in bug id 4671472. I have attempted the recommeded fix, but the problem persists. If anyone else has been having a similar problem and has any solution let me know. Thanks.

Problem referencing to methods with generic type parameters

Assuming I have an interface like to following:

void test ( T arg0, Object arg1 );
I would like to reference to both "test"-methods using "{@link #test(T)}" and "{@link #test(T,Object)}".But this generates an error telling me "test(T)" and "test(T,Object)" cannot be found.
Changing T to Object in the documentation works and has as interesing effect. The generated link text is "test(Object)" but the generated link is "test(T)".
Am I somehow wrong? Or is this a known issue? And is there a workaround other than using "Object" instead of "T"?

After quite a while of search your posting led me to the solution.
My code goes something like this:

After I changed the documentation code to
@see #SomeIterator(Object[])it worked.
Since both taglets offer the use of a label, one can easily use these to produce comments that look correct:

ECC 6.0 Upgrade - Problem in phase PARDIST_SHD

Upgrading from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 on Windows/SQL Server.
Phase PARDIST_SHD failed with the following error:
"Table change not possible. There is a DB trigger on the table."
This problem is documented in the note 825146 (Add Info on upgrading to NW04s) in section IV item number 7. The note points to note number 956198 for the fix, which is to delete the trigger defined on table MSSDEADLCK manually in the SQL Server query analyzer.
I have performed the steps outlined in note 956198 to delete the trigger, but when restarting the upgrade it keeps coming back with the same error. It seems that, even if I restart the upgrade with INIT option, the upgrade is not re-setting to the beginning of the phase, but continues to error out immediately upon restart. Originally the phase took about 45 minutes to complete before it aborted with the error. Each time I have restarted the phase it ends after only a few seconds.
Anyone have any thoughts? I'm real close to just starting the whole thing over, I've never run into anything like this before. I am using the latest SAPup.

Problems Migrating Wiki Calendars

We upgraded a 10.6.8 server with several wikis to OS X Server 10.8.2. The wikis appear to have imported ok, except for the calendar information. When accessing the calendar page, an error is returned saying File Not Found.
There are no obvious errors in the migration log. If I make a new wiki, the calendar works ok on that wiki so I'm pretty sure CalDAV Server is working ok.
I found the migrated data in a migration folder on the 10.8 server. I even found the wiki's .ics files tucked away in a subfolder. I could probably find a way to re-import those files if I could blow away whatever problem the migrated wikis have.
I've deleted the wikis, re-imported them (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5082) from the old Collaboration folder and they come back with the same problem. Documentation on this product is pretty light. Does anyone have any beta on the relationship between the wikis and their calendars? If the migration won't work, I'd be glad to just reset the calendars and work on a way to import the .ics files.

Some further input. I have created a clone HDD to play with.
On Snow Leopard, I have done unbind from Active directory, set up Open Directory as a local master, change permissions on all wikis to have everyone read and write permissions without login.
then Reboot, checked that wiki is accessible without any password, then upgrade to Lion on that partition.
Everything went fine, but I still get same result.
There are no wikis in wikiserver.
When I check the info in /Library/Collaboration/Groups/ all info is there, also it is in /Library/Server/Wiki/FileData
But I still can't see anything when I launch wiki

Problem in valuation type in STO

We are using STO w/o delivery for stock transfer between plants of same c/code. We are using split valuation (say val. types X, Y, Z) for some materials. While preparing STO, we can change valuation types.
Our ERP team had applied some patches of Inventory management.
Before applying patches:
We were not able to change the valuation types during 351 (at supplying plant) as well as 101 (at receiving plant). So there was no problem in documentation.
After applying patches:
Suppose STO is having val. type X. While issueing material thru 351, user finds column of valuation type as BLANK. So he puts val. type Y. System doesn't check val. type at this level and user is able to post the document. While preparing GR for this STO, val. type is
defaulted from STO and can't be edited. Hence user can't post the document due to difference in valuation type.
I had forwarded the problem to our ERP Team and did not get the solution till date.
What can be possible causes for the same and what is the solution?

Jclient - Jtree problem inserting new records

I reviewed the component example of using a jtree and for display only it works fine but doesn't include any code to add new records. our example uses a polymorphic table called "levels", as:
level1

inserting a record to the level1 vo works and redisplays in the jtree fine but inserts to level2 or level3 creates
display issues and other tree issues. The data is recorded correctly and the tree displays correctly if you close the app and rerun it.
We also attempted to correct this by setting
vo.setAssociationConsistent(true) in each of the level table vos. this did not help.
Is this a bug ? Can someone provide some example code if required to get this to display and insert correctly.

I can't tell if the problem is a bug and it would require code reviews and test cases to be specific on that.
I suggest contacting customer support with this issue so the problem gets documented, addressed and solved.

IPod w/Video REMOTE problems

The menu button on my new remote does not apper to work with the new universal iPod dock. The other buttons do work.
Anyone run into this problem?
Documentation is scant.

This is normal. It works with Front Row on the new iMac. If you want to use the remote without leaving the couch, put your videos in a playlist. Once you start a playlist, you can move forward and back among the various videos with the remote.

Possible design flaw in Nike+iPod kit causes connection problem

I've been having some similar receiver/sensor connection problems as documented on these forums. Here's a page and video that diagnoses the problem as being a possible contact connection issue. Try squeezing your Nano to see if it makes contact. I'll try mine when I get home.

I think you meant you have the iPod nano software, version 1.2. iTunes 1.2 will definitely not work. 6.0.5 is the current version of iTunes The iPod options appear after plugging in your iPod, then choosing preferences in iTunes (or clicking the little iPod icon in the bottom right of the iTunes window). Nike + iPod prefs are in there too.

Budget Settings update problem

Hello everyone!
I'm having a problem when I try to change the budget settings in Administration -> System Initialization -> General Settings -> Budget tab. On my actual settings, the "Budget Initialization" box is checked and the option "Block Deviation From Budget" is marked, but when I change it to "Warning" it doesn't update.
How can I fix this? I need to fix it as soon as possible!

Juan - this was a long time ago and I am not certain whether this will help or not, but I remember two things that might do the trick.
ONE: I remember we had a problem (not documented anywhere), where the GL Account was put "On Hold" and it stopped us from doing something with Budget. The SQL is just like Jimmy's except there are a few more fields...just check to see if any accounts with Budget = "Y" also has FrozenFor = "Y"

TWO: We changed the current period (we were in November) to be in the NEXT year and then set some budget parameters (maybe scenario under Financials > Budget Scenarios?). But since you have run the budget before, I can't picture that being the problem...
