Problem in extraction ?

Hi,
I'm extractind CRM datasource 0CRM_LEAD_H ,by usibng this datasource we are loading BI content cubes 0MKTG_C01 ,i did each step correctly, after creating infopakage and schedule ...data was alos requested...but when we try to see in monitor...it showing running status in yellow..we wait allmost 2 hours but ut still in yellow status..
In CRM datasource have only 86 records only..
Could any help on this issuse..
Thanksin Advance ,
Vasu..

hi Vasu
go again in to the monitor and check the treatment part (the last steps) by develeoping the hierarchy you will get more detailed information.
Maybe the data load check the presence of another master data.
otherwise if you are sure that there is no errors and that the yellow color remains go to the infopackage with the menu go for pass to succesfull if status remains yellow.
hope this helps

    Hi Gurus
I have problems in extracting the data from CRM to BW.I thought you are the one who can solve them:
    1) When I check the data in the datasource in RSA3 i can see all records as well as i can see complete data in that but when i extract and check the data in cube i can see all records but i cannot see the complete data i.e some data is missing.
2)And another problem is that In report i have 2 characteristics(DATS) start date and end date now i am trying to get number of days from start date to end date.
I appreciate you in advance. If u find any good documentation please send me to [email protected]

  • Problem when extracting DataSource 0PAYSCALELV_ATTR from R/3 ECC6 to BW 3.5

We have recently begun upgrading to ECC6.0 from 4.7.  We are still using BW 3.5.  After upgrading our Sandbox to ECC6.0, we found a problem when extracting Pay scale level attributes using DataSource 0PAYSCALELV_ATTR.  For some reason the table values are being multiplied by 26 by the extractor, which was not happening in 4.7.  Therefore in our BW system, these employees salaries are being calculated incorrectly because the hourly rate coming from R/3 is already wrong.  Please help!

    Hi Surendhar,
Did you try to check the connection b/w ypur source system and the target system?
You can do it by executing T.Code RSA1-> Select Source Systems-> Right click your source system-> Check.
Also, pls check ST22 for any short dumps and SM21 for system logs.
    Hope it helps!!!!

  • Problem with Extract Filter

I have Problem with Extract Filter which was working OK until recently.
Now, when I choose the filter the screen does not come up as the extract screen as it should and no other action can be taken except to press escape which returns me to normal. working.    Looks as if the extraction function has been sleected but does not show?
I am trying to use the  extract on a layer.  Have tried to use it on a selection also.
    Anyone suggest a solution please?
    Bill

Without a way to reset the tool, the only possibility seems to be to reset your preferences as described in the FAQ.
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/375776?tstart=0
You either have to physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if using the Alt, Ctrl, and Shift method, be sure that you get a confirmation dialog.
This resets all settings in Photoshop to factory defaults.
(A complete uninstall/re-install will not affect the preferences and a corrupt file there may be causing the problem.)

  • Problem when extracting Smart Objects

I am having a problem when extracting Smart Objects.
I work for a small pre-press company. We are working on several computers using one Job Server. Some of these computers have different versions of OS.
For one of our clients the company uses Smart Objects as a precaution for moire issues. The child file stays a certain size, while the parent file is sized down for print. Our client has started to request the larger Child size image for their use. For the volume of images requested, I have made an action out of Photoshop to open the smart object and save out a flat tif of the larger child file image. Here is the problem...
At times the smart objects child file does not retain the name of the smart object layer as its being extracted. What could be causing the lost connection between the parent file name to the child file name, and is there a way to prevent it in the future?
    Thanks for your help:)
    DVan

    Hello,
I have noticed that. The true problem is that the child files name starts out as the parent layer name, but then somewhere down the line it turns wonkie, starting to be named things like 12.psd etc. Please see attached. Your can't re-save the name of the child file either because all that does is save out a named temp file that does not get linked back to the parent file....so what is making the name change?

  • Problems While Extracting Hours From Date Field

    Hi Guys,
    Hope you are doing well.
I am facing some problems while extracting hours from date field. Below is an example of my orders table:-
    select * from orders;
    Order_NO     Arrival Time               Product Name
    1          20-NOV-10 10:10:00 AM          Desktop
    2          21-NOV-10 17:26:34 PM          Laptop
    3          22-JAN-11 08:10:00 AM          Printer
Earlier there was a requirement that daily how many orders are taking place in the order's table, In that I used to write a query
    arrival_time>=trunc((sysdate-1),'DD')
    and arrival_time<trunc((sysdate),'DD')
The above query gives me yesterday how many orders have been taken place.
Now I have new requirement to generate a report on every 4 hours how many orders will take place. For an example if current time is 8.00 AM IST then the query should fetch from 4.00 AM till 8 AM how many orders taken place. The report will run next at 12.00 PM IST which will give me order took place from 8.00 AM till 12.00 PM.
The report will run at every 4 hours a day and generate report of orders taken place of last 4 hours. I have a scheduler which will run this query every hours, but how to make the query understand to fetch order details which arrived last 4 hours. I am not able to achieve this using trunc.
Can you please assist me how to make this happen. I have checked "Extract" also but I am not satisfied.
    Please help.
    Thanks In Advance
    Arijit

    you may try something like
    with testdata as (
      select sysdate - level/24 t from dual
      connect by level <11
    select
      to_char(sysdate, 'DD-MM-YYYY HH24:MI:SS') s
    , to_char(t, 'DD-MM-YYYY HH24:MI:SS') t from testdata
    where
    t >= trunc(sysdate, 'HH') - numtodsinterval(4, 'HOUR')
    S     T
    19-06-2012 16:08:21     19-06-2012 15:08:21
    19-06-2012 16:08:21     19-06-2012 14:08:21
    19-06-2012 16:08:21     19-06-2012 13:08:21
19-06-2012 16:08:21     19-06-2012 12:08:21trunc ( ,'HH') truncates the minutes and seconds from the date.
Extract hour works only on timestamps

  • Problem with extract data from R/3 to BW

I want extract data from R/3 system.the problem is when I run the infopackage,I can see the status is yellow In the Monitor and the data can't extract to BW.but in the source system, the job of extracting data has been finished.
(use the Tcode: WE02)the Outbound IDocs and Inbound IDocs are OK,but in the BW system ,I canu2019t see the Inbound IDocs.
In the source system use Tcode: SM50,I can see the process SAPLQOWK is running for a long time and run out system memory.
use Tcode : SM58, I execute LUW, the data can transfer to BW system, but the report SAPLQOWK is not stop.
it would be stopped by canceling the process manually in operating system or it run out time.
why can't i extract data from R/3 system successfully ?
why the process SAPLQOWK can't finish?
    how can i do?

    Hi,
I hope the note 527481 would help you to sort out this problem.

  • Problem in extracting data from Z totals table (special Ledger)

    Hi Gurus,
I am in a task of pulling in specific fields from the Z Totals Table of Special Purpose Ledger into the cube. We only need totals records and do not need line items.
In SBIW, i have generated the transfer structure and datasource for totals table as per the steps of Generic extraction.
The problem is that am not able to see all the fields (like balance carried forward, total transactions) in the selection fields screen. While extracting i choose totals records only. But now my datasource got generated and am able to see that it is active (green). But some important fields like balance are missing.
Please let me know your suggestions / ideas.
    Thanks
    Shreya

We have the exact same Challenge and Issue.   When I view my generated extract structure 3FI_SL_ZB_TT, I don't see any of my key figures.  This was created off the Special Ledger Summary or totals table.
For Instance, I need fields KSLVT through KSL16. That is, Balance Carried forward in Group currency (period 0) and, total of transactions of the period in group currency, (periods 1-16).  I don't see these at all in the generated extract structure.  Does that mean it must be appended in via transaction RSA6?
Also, to get the Balance Carried forward do I have to add 0BALANCE to the extract structure?
Finally, besides the beginning balance, which wiil remain constant, can I get Month-end Year To Date Balances using this approach.  Note, I don't need detail from the line items table.  I just want to make sure I don't need to use that in concert with a Delta and ODS to get my Month End YTD Balance.  I only need this cube for Balances.
    Thanx,
    Joe M

One approach is to download Htmlparser from sourceforge
http://htmlparser.sourceforge.net/ and write the rules to match title, abstract etc.
Another approach is to write your own parser that extract only title, abstract etc.
    1. tokenize the html file. --> convert html into tokens (tag and value)
    2. write a simple parser to extract certain information
find out about the pattern of text you want to extract. For instance "<class "abstract">.
then writing a rule for extracting abstract such as
if (tag is abstract ) then extract abstract text
apply the same concept for other tags
Attached is the sample parser that was used to extract title and abstract from acm html files. Please modify to include keyword and other fields.
    good luck

    Hi bhanu
My question is the extraction was succesful in SAP r/3 but due to some RFC problem it couldnt reach SAP BW.
Since for the first delta the time stamp is present should i go ahead and do the extraction once again or take care of old time stamp.
Since mean time there might be other records created which i should not take care of.
    Let me know your views.

    Hi,
    EdStevens
Actually I was using SQL Developer. Sorry for the wrong define question. Now the real problem is:
I want to read or extract data in a txt file from Oracle Dump (.dmp) file without using Oracle sqlPlus or Oracle Database.
No need to say that i am able to extract dump data using sqlPlus. But for that, there is a little burden to install oracle database
    or sql Developer.
I also listen about Oracle Loader a little bit. Is it a tool for providing extraction of data from Oracle dump file.
    Thanks for your previous reply,
And now waiting for your suggestion.
    thanks,
    mohan

  • Problem In Extracting xml file from Zip File

    Hi,
In my application I am creating a zip file which contains some xml files. I am using Weblogic 8.1 for my application.
When I try to extract the xml file from the zip file it displays error and those xml files are not extracted from the zip file.
Otherwise on tomcat it works absolutely fine.
Is there any support issues of using the zip files with weblogic?
    Please respond.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Friends
    I resolved the problem
just to add the jars of
mail.jar and activation.jar in the client side.

  • Problem in extracting from the import transport set

i am exporting all of the major page groups and providers from my source box to the target machine. both are using the same version database, app server and portal version 904.
for one of the biggest provider, i created transport sets in the export system, ran the script for NT to create a dump file. moved dump files to the import system, imported its transport set from this file. now i am trying to extract the imported transport set.
here i am facing problems one after the other.
    1. first is this that this extraction from the import transport set is costing too much time. more than 36 hours have already passed and it has not finished.
    2. it does seem to populate though as after several hours i see the log file with its lines showing a message like .... 'importing component ... so and so ... '. however, the whole process is not finishing or going fast. there is no other process running on this target box.
    3. and surprisingly, the log files update the start time of the script every few hours.
can somebody please help? this is a very time-sensitive request.
    thanks.

    Hi,
if i remember exactly i thought this error due to field selections in R/3 whatever the fields u have given in selection tab in rsa3 in ECC give the same selections while scheduling the infopackage than u can able to see the records in psa for full load.
after doing dis still problem persists revert me.

    select extract(xml_details,'/ROWSET/ROW/CTRY_CODE').getClobVal()
Without knowing your version, you may still run into an issue if the length of the data is > 64K. 9i truncs the data and goes on happily. 10g throws an error. 11g should handle correctly.
