Problem in feature 40ack

HI SAP GURUS,
I am facing a problem regarding feature 40ack. For the year 2010 the acknowledgement numbers is not getting saved or activate the error showing " Decision operation not unique because field value occurs several times. Please tell me the solution.

Under FYEAR you will already have values for previous years like 2008, 2009 etc. Note that only one decision parameter of FYEAR will be required. Don't create more than 1.
Now Put cursor on FYEAR and clcik on create button, it will ask for a new value of year, here you maintain 2010 and enter.
Now select 2010 and again click on create. Now you will get a pop up screen which will contain the radio button like 'Return Table', 'Field for decision parameter' etc. Here select return table and and maintain the acknowledgement number in
1/123456789012345 format.

Currently , I am using PI 1.2 .I have some confuses about these features on this .
1. Alarm and Event :
- When 1 port on any devices down , I don't see any alarm about this . Plz tell me What kinds of alarm in PI ?

I have configured syslog on device to send to PI , some devices can send to PI , almost switchs .We monitor 40 devices , have 9 switchs in the network but on PI just see syslog on 2 switchs , no syslog on all router ? The flowing is status on PI :

Problem Hotkey Features 2.23.000

Hi there,
we have a big problem with the unattended Installation of hotkey features, because during the installation of hotkey features a GUI splash ups, the GUI doesn´t need interaction, but if you install it via altiris deployment solution, the hotkey feature is install at an other users context. so the installation doesn´t work.
Is there a really silent switch setup /s produce this GUI. or is there a fix for this problem ?

We have exactly the same problem. We are developing a new unattended install for 20 new Thinkpads, and we will need to package this software ourselves now, just because /S does not work.
Other IBM components that use the same install, also do not work correctly, such as the Thinkvantage Productivity Center setup

Logic Score Problems and Feature Requests...add yours here

I have made up a short document outlining some of the issues with notation side of Logic. because it includes screen shots that clearly indicate what they are, i have made up a pdf file you can download here:

I think the notating side gets a little overlooked because developers concentrate all their efforts on the audio arms race.
i.e. manual selection of a specific voice layer
actually this isn't too difficult. there is a key command you can set for "select equal channels" which will allow you to select a specific voice layer. i use this a fair bit in conjuction with "deselect outside of locators".
and seperating out voices from a played in part is relatively easy with another couple of key commands "select lowest/highest note" again i use this in conjuction with "deselect outside of locators".
actually i could go on and on. this is the thing about logic. it allows you to customize all these fantastic key commands and develop workflows that suit you. i use all of the editors when i'm doing scores, because they all are handy for dealing with data in different ways. it is so fast and efficient and will bend to your will. BUT it will only take you so far.....it's so frustrating. like a ferrari with no wheels.
it is absolutely unbeatable for straight foirward film scores though. i just wish some of these issues were straightened out - and they're not major ones either. compared to audio implementation anyway.....

SQL Developer Problems and Feature Requests

Im in the process of comparing TOAD to SQL Developer and noticed the following bugs/features in SQL Developer:
1. An error message is correctly displayed when a database password has expired, but there isnt a way to go back into the database and change the password for that account. Can this critical feature be added?
2. There is no option to connect as sysdba or sysoper.
3. In the New / Select Database Connection window, I get the following error when double clicking on an existing connection defined using a TNS Network Alias: Status: Failure no ocijdbc10 in java.library.path. Any ideas? Connection was initially defined using the Network Alias button. I can connect under the Connections window, but not in the New / Select Database Connection window. Any ideas?
4. When displaying data in a table, the filter is not user friendly. You need to enter column names and the correct SQL syntax. It also does not allow you to cut and paste in column names. It would be very helpful/useful if it was more user friendly (GUI based) such as how Sorting is done and/or how it is done in TOAD.
5. When viewing referential constraints on a child table, it shows you information on the parent, but not if the parent is a child to something else. If you were a parent, it would be nice to see all child and their childrens children. TOAD does a nice job showing parent and child tables via a tree structure.
6. Comparing metadata between schemas would also be a very nice feature.
Im not sure if this is the place to post this but thought I would start here. Any feedback would be appreciated.

1: You can always right click and have it open an sql*plus window and that will prompt for the new password. But I do agree that support for this should be built in.
2: This is a developer tool.. Use OEM for the dba stuff. I think that the worst thing that could happen to SQL Dev is to try to become everything for everyone like TOAD tries to.
3: Search the forum. Other users ran into this and I believe there is a workaround.
4: I like the current filtering on tables. So much simpler than most tools. I do agree that maybe there should be an advanced button with a filter builder and agree that column names should be copyable but would cringe if the free-form field disappeared. How many other tools can you write an inline query into the table viewer? Great feature IMHO

Problem or Feature? Playlist appearing even though is wasn't synchronized

Ok, so here's something funny I noticed.
Say you have a recently added song A in playlist P, and you set your Nano/Classic to synchronize only playlist P.
On your Nano, when you go to Playlists>, you'll see playlist P, but you'll also see the "Recently Added" playlist (if you still have it in iTunes) with song A within it.
So it seems that the new playlist listing algorithm on the Nano/Classic will list ALL playlists that your songs are in, not just the ones that you chose to synchronize.
Feature or Bug?

I am set to selected playlists due to library size and have noticed something similar.
There are two playlists, not checked, on iPod anyway.

Problem with Features update

Updated to 1.13 and purchaced new features but even though I sync the IPod Touch, the new features don't show up. Tried going theough the pruchase process again and it says I have already purchaced it.
Please Help...I'm getting frustrated.

I believe you meant to reply to zzzzmac instead of me. I never said mine wasn't set to autosync. It is. The apps just didn't show up on the iPod even though iTunes and the Touch looked like the installation of the upgrade is taking place. Unfortunately I won't get a chance to try another update for a couple of days to see if restarting iTunes will cause the update to show up.

Web Album Export Problem and Feature request

I find that exporting a Smart Web Album is painfully slow. It's so slow that it's practically unusable. By my anecdotal estimate, it's about 10 times slower than Lightroom.
Anyone else seeing this behavior?
Also, as long as I'm at it, Apple needs to allow Aperture to upload web albums directly to an external site that is not a .mac site. How can Aperture be called a PRO app without this ability? Yes, I know if I wait forever for a web album to export files I can ftp on my own, but why not build it into Aperture (like Lightroom does).

Just to be sure I understand the semantics. In 1.5 what are now called web pages were called web galleries. Now web galleries refer to a new feature that was first introduced in iPhoto08.
If you are talking about Galleries, then that's .mac only because so much of that functionality is server side.
If your talking about web pages, your going to have to go "under the hood" and create links between them. I know no way to do this in Aperture. You need to know HTML/CSS or have a wysiwyg editor like Dreamweaver.
What I did was create a master page in Dreamweaver that linked to the various index pages from my Aperture web pages. You can do this w/o editing the pages that Aperture created, but you won't have cross navigation- meaning that they won't link to each other or back to the main page. The only way I know to do that is to add a menu to the pages created by Aperture.
In Dreamweaver, you can create a menu as a "Library Item" then put it on each of the pages.
There may be a more elegant solution, but I don't know what it is.

Screen Problem/New Features

The first thing is...idk if this is just me but i noticed that occasionally there is a black line around the edge of the screen as if the ipod touch isnt using the whole screen, it isnt big and isnt too noticable. i was wondering if anyone else has seen this.
THe other thing is..these are some features i thought of and wondering if anyone else though of any.
1. Contacts/Music Search
2. Safari Username/Password Saving
3. The ability to change the names and info of songs.
4. The ability to switch between a scientific calculator and a normal calculator.
5. The ability to download podcasts through the itunes store.

Caps Lock Key Problem or Feature?

just wondering if this is a new feature on Penryn Macbooks, but if i hit the CAPS LOCK Key too fast it doesnt activate or turn on, if i hit it slower, like leave the finger on it a bit longer it does, is this the same for everyone?

Anyone else confirm this? and also does anyone find it annoying?

I get it on the simplest of operations: changing (in fact setting) the connection password for the existing connection (defined by TNS/Connect Identifier). Oh, yes, there're workarounds, particularly export-edit-import, but don't you find it a bit weird?
BTW, i do not find a Save button there either, won't it be just appropriate? (Not allways a connection one's setting up for is already available on the spot).
Environment : OS: RHEL4, SQL Developer version: 1.0.0.15.57 (at least that's what About says), java - just stright form Sun, 1.5.0_09_b01; this was one i told SQL Developer to use. The default java in the system is Red Hat 3.4.6-3, though, i haven't changed that - should i?

I have had this issue with the Connection window with the TNS Connection Identifier method, but it appears to be related in some way to the other Oracle installations you have. For me (I am on Win XP), the error went away after installing the Oracle 10g client with Discoverer 10g Administrator. It then came back when I needed to rebuild my computer and installed my Oracle clients (I have three for various different products) in a different order, but was fixed that time by reordering my Oracle Homes via the Universal Installer and making my 10g Client first (Oracle Universal Installer -> Installed Products -> Environment)
Alternatives are to switch back to the TNS Network Alias method to record the password (unfortunately, even when entering the connection as a Network Alias it is saved as a Connection Identifier) or to just use the Basic tab instead of the TNS tab.

Mismatch of Tan no 40ACK & 40ECC

Hi everyone,
Recently I uploaded Acknowledgement no's on Form16 through feature 40ACK.
Now my user wants to change the PAN &TAN no for 1 location(Nagpur).This new PAN &TAN no is same as of another location(Noida).Company Codes are different for both locations.
I changed the PAN &TAN through 40ECC for the desired Company Code.
The result is came fine on Form16.
But 40ACK still uses the OLD TAN no. I tried changing TAN no on 40ACK but system didnt allowed that. Now there's a mismatch on Form16.
For the desired Company Code new PAN &TAN no is being displayed on Form16 but acknowledgement no's are displayed as of another company code(Noida).Coz 40ACK for the desired location(Nagpur) still uses OLD TAN No but since in 40ECC these have been made similar as of Noida so system is picking Noida acknowledgement no's.
Please help me how to resolve this.

Actually for acknowledgement no's system checks 40ACK where it sees the TAN no. Tan No in 40ECC is DELI04813E which is now same for both Company Codes(Noida& Nagpur). So for Nagpur also it displays the acknow. no's entered for the above TAN No.
I am facing 2 problems.
a) Ack. no's for both company codes are different
b)When I try changing TAN No in 40ACK ; I get an error

Printing problem with HP deskjet 3050 all in one J610 series

I have a HP deskjet 3050 all in one J610 series which I am using with Windows Vista Version 6.0 (Build 6006: Service pack 2). Connecting is by USB port. I have not used the printer for some time, but have done all the maintence checks & it is good to go. When I want to print a letter the only thing that gets printed is the email address which is coloured blue. I think the problem is in the settings of the printer features. I can print the letter in gray scale but this is not easy to read and not suitable for business dealings.
I would appreciate help with this problem. A definition of the terms used in the printer features might help me resolve it by my self.

Feature can not be recognized

It seems I am facing a problem with feature can not be recognized for leaving action (PA40)
Leaving is supposed to have MSN 20 with program generated 1PAPA/FEAT000MSN20 but my client has different program generated which is $P00003U. How do I change it?

what is generate feature TCODE? Is it se38 for running the above program? I execute it however I have a message says "When recognizing the predecessors, youmay not specify a feature because the reorganization with subsequent activation can not be performed for a subset"

Printing problem on hp deskjet 5550 using series 7.1.0 Driver

I have an HP5550 hooked up to a PC running Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 3. I also run MS Office 2003 on the machine.
For some reason I cannot print all documents out of MS Word any longer. I looked as much as I could through the Internet and it seems that the culprit might be something in the Windows XP service packs. The printer is being controlled by HP printer drriver 7.1.0.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
