Problem in fix statemenet
HI Experts,
i have problem in fix statemenet
in the outline i have a dimension Structre there are many levels on this dimension,
in the calc script i have to calculte some formula, but in the fix condition i have to fix on Level 0 under Dimension Structure and with UDA XYZ, the memebrs other than level 0 of this Dimesion having the UDA XYZ must not be calculated.
however i know we can use @REMOVE function. we can fix on @UDA(Structure, XYZ) and remove from this fix, members who aren't level 0 under Dimension Structure.
how to put the sencond part of the above statement in the below fix command
FIX( @REMOVE(@UDA("Structure", XYZ) ???)

I don't believe your code is working the way you think.
When two FIXes that select the same dimension are nested, in fact they perform a UNION, not an AND. Based on what you've described, you are FIXing on all members that have a UDA of "XYZ", which includes those that are at level 0, and then you are FIXing on all level 0 members that have a UDA of "XYZ".
If you want to touch all members that have the UDA "XYZ", your first FIX should be sufficient.

Honestly i cannot remember sorry, i got it like 5 maybe 6 yrs ago and just started downloading things to it as the memory on the computer started filling up and when i wanted to see photos/videos on my TV.
My wife did tell me after i had written this post that she did try and record TV to it as it was plugged in. I think by doing so somehow has deleted everything. It reads on my TV yet has no files in it but won't show up on my computer. hope this helps.
Starting to think it is going to cost more to retrieve files on it than it will be to buy a newer and larger one. -

Firstly, i reset my computer few days ago and never used itunes after that .
Secondly, the power button on the iphone is broken so i can't set the recovery mode on the phone.
I Tried connect the itunes with the iphone but the all itunes says 'To allow access , please respond on your iphone' but there's nothing i can do,

TC takes longer to re-boot; reports a problem; then fixes itself?
I had a lot of problems yesterday with my TC. I lost my internet connection and spent 4 hours working on resetting it and the cable modem so they would communicate.
During that process, and still today, I am finding a slow internet connection. But, the problem I'm writing about here is that when I re-boot the TC it is taking a lot longer than it ever used to in the past. And, once it does boot, the utility pops up that the TC is reporting a problem. When I click continue, it then tells me that the TC is operating as normal.
I did buy this in March 2008 and I see others are having a lot of power problems. Maybe I'm headed down the same path but for now I do have power and an internet connection, albeit a slow one.
Any thoughts?

When I was originally going through this problem I did do a Factory Default Reset as well as a default reset. My connection works but seems to slow at times. What I did this morning was simply a "restart" using the desktop software and it seems to take a very long time, reports a problem, then fixes itself.
I have left the cable modem unplugged as described.
I gave up on trying to restore my static IP address that worked for about a year as everything had a "meltdown" and I don't have time to play around with it more. Maybe a holiday project. But it's odd that it's acting this way now after the Factory Default Reset. I may try that again just to see if it helps this time around. -

Please use a 32 bit browser to open any PDFs in the browser with Reader, since it doesnt support a 64 bit browser.

I have read all of the discussions about headset echos, my echos are heard by the caller when I hold the phone by the bottom half. The echo disappears when I change my hold position. Anybody else having this problem? Fix?
Don't hold it like that. You're creating an 'echo chamber' due to the position of your hand/neck/face. It's not a technical issue. I hear this when I talk to my wife and she cradles the phone against her shoulder.

i know that asus was working on an updated BIOS to fix the GPU issue, and according to the last post in this thread on the asus support forums (http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?id=20090627114124765&board_id=3&model=G71Gx(BestBuy)&SLanguage=e...), rev. 1201 seems to have done the trick.
i checked the asus support website (http://support.asus.com), and i found that there is an even new version of the BIOS - rev. 1302. i would recommend moving to this BIOS upon unboxing your G71GX.
i have updated the BIOS on both notebooks and desktops before, and the process is fairly painless. i found this link off the asus support site (http://support.asus.com/technicaldocuments/technicaldocuments.aspx?root=198&SLanguage=en-us), and it describes how to update the BIOS. i would recommend having a conversation with your local geek squad if you're not comfortable doing the process yourself. -
When people try to call me my iPhone6 goes straight to voicemail when I'm not on a call. People get the "I'm on another call" message, is this an easy problem to fix ?

My brand-new iPad Mini has Siri unresponsive. This happens quite frequently and I find it very frustrating. I have a strong Wi-Fi connection. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?

The button used to work until I upgraded, now it doesn't. The button still works for other documents and if I use Internet Explorer Browser. I have windows vista. Any suggestions?

I have a few games with quite a few hours invested, and I worry that I'll lose the progress I have as they do not save to the cloud. I may have to bite the bullet, and just take the plunge to resolve this. I just want a way to easily transfer my "Home Computer" for my iPhone. My laptop is years old and in need of being replaced, and it's about time to upgrade my phone. These life events piling up are making me consider switching to a friendlier OS. I'm not using this as a threat. I just hope some apple high up will read this, and realize that we need alternatives. Life happens.
Thank you both Paul and Lawrence. I clicked "This helped me" not knowing it would remove the option to choose "This fixed my problem" too. For anyone else reading this thread. Using the guide provided has done both. It has helped me and given me a fix to my current problem. Lawrence has also provided me with the last bit of information I feel is missing from wjosten's guide. That syncing will completely erase all of your data and reinstall it in one fell swoop. It's a great fix. Even if it isn't the exact one I wanted. Thank you again! -
Problem with FIX-Statement in Business Rule

ich have a business rule with two nested FIX-Statements.
I calculate depending on the month in the runtime-prompt a forecast for this month. After that i fix on that month an clear some specific accounts. But some of these accounts still have data.
they are in the cleardata section and they are children of FiBuKonten from the first fix. When i leave out the @CHILDREN("FiBuKonten") in the first fix the accounts are cleared as excepted, but i need that fix because not all accounts are part of this forecast.
I changed everything to work as a calc-script and the same problem appears, on dev and prod database.
Why are some accounts cleared while others not ? Really misterious!

KevinDoes it make a difference when a dimension has dynamic calc members and i dont fix on that dimension to fix on the Level 0 members of that dimension ? The result should be the same in my eyes.
SGF is dense. I found out that everytime i the fix includes that first member M_124100 the error occoured.
I changed the rule in the form that i split the FIX Statement. And now it works without the error and with all data cleared. Even when i don`t reorder the dimension SGF.
