Problem in Importing Transport Request

Hi Everybody,
I have a Problem in Importing a Change Request . Yesterday ABAP person had Released two change request from DEV to PRD. I imported the 2. i got successfully imported but another one is still importing( status:Truck symbol)
after that i have imported many Request in PRD server, except this one. how to stop importing this? what may be the reason?

Hi Siva Kumar,
You can reset the status of that transport.
Select the transport (which is showing the running status) -> Go to the import monitor -> right click the truck symbol and delete it.

Importing transport request into CE7.1 giving trouble

Hi All,
When we are trying to import the transport *.sda files into CE7.1. Guided Procedures->Administration->transport--->import transport Requests giving No endpoint alias has been maintained; create an endpoint alias first.
If we try to create End point configuration there is no SAP System. Can i have any idea to solve this problem.
---> i have to give any other privileges or i have to enable any thing

"update rules inactive " error when importing transport request

Hi experts,
I am stuck while importing transport request of update rules. I am moving transport request of update rules from 1 system to another and stuck while importing it in 2nd system. Only two update rules are stuck among all giving an error of "inactive update rules".
I have again tranported it twice after activating theose two update rules.
Please help!!!!!

Hi,
You should be able to see the "owner" of a transport request under the import history in STMS. If you need the user too you can choose the menu "Edit --> Display More".

It's possible to import transport request which is already completely imported into production system, since I want to transport it to other client in production system.

Re-importing is possible as well in STMS as with parameter 'unconditional mode' of the tp-Tool. Use unconditional mode '1' to reimport when using tp from command line. In STMS, import the single request by positioning on the request in the import queue and using 'request -> import'. As Option in the following popup, choose 'Import request again'. You might have to add the Request to the import queue again manually, if it is no longer in the import queue.

- the system starts "tp import <transport> pf=<transport profile>"
- tp calls R3trans
- R3trans triggers an event in the system to start postprocessing

Imported Transport request has been deleted by mistakenly in my sandbox server .
is there any issue will be happen.
and one more Clarification
usr\sap\trans\log -- this directory is contain 2 GB log files . if i delete this log files or taken a backup to some other drives any issue will come .

If you have the source system where the transport was created you can use a simple ABAP like
report ZRERELEASE_REQUEST

PARAMETERS: TEST(1) TYPE C DEFAULT 'X'.

start it, enter your request number and execute. Then you can re-release the request.

I am thinking of writing a program to perform the import of transport request into the system after the transport request is added to the buffer.
The transport request is added to the buffer using FTP.

My 2 systems are not linked to each other, one is running SAP 4.7 and the other is running ECC6.0. Can I still use STMS_IMPORT?
When I use STMS_IMPORT, I hit some errors. It is either "tp finished: A tool used by tp broke down" or "tp finished: A tool used by tp aborted". DO you have any idea what is wrong? Thanks for your help.

In your landscape the TMS must have configured.Let assume that you have four six systems in the land scape.
DEV->DEV1->QUA->PRD and other two systems (TR1 ,TR2)are at different domain amd both are connected to QUA and the requests are forwarded from there.Here normally the flow willl be from DEV to DEV1, then DEV1 to QUA and QUA to PRD.For other two systems (TR1 ,TR2 )the source system will always be QUA.

Error while importting Transport Request

Hi,
I am getting following errors while Transporting requests from Development to Test System
Error getting fields for PSA /BIC/B0000643
Error occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT ofr DTPA L
The Transport request just contains one Transformation the corresponding DTP.
We are using BI 7 for Bank Analyzer and have just imported SP11. This problem has started coming only after the import of SP11.

Yes the DS were active. I tried to re-transport that too but the TR failed with similar error.
Finally I tried to manually activate the DTP in the Target system and got the same error. I rectified the problem by deleting the DTP from the Target system. But I am not sure why this happened. Please let me know if you have any idea abt the same.

Automatic import transport request

Hi Folks,
We are transporting requests from DEV to QA but they are not being imported(changes are not being reflected in QA).What i am doing is manually i am importing to QA.
My query is is there any way by which automatically import is done once we release from DEV environment?

Hi Chandu,
As far as I undertsnad your problem is that you want to perform automatically transports in your QA system when it is released from your DEV system.
This is very simple. Log in to your QA system and then go to STMS and then try to import all transport in you queue with Import all requests button. Then a popup will come that shows you different option to Import Tarnsport request.
Select Radio Button <b>At Start Time</b>. Then define Start Time and also Period.
After scheduling the job you can verify it by Select Go to --> Job Monitor. It will show you when next job will run.
As a result the job will run periodically and transport all requests that are in QA system queue.

Error message while importing transport request using STMS_IMPORT

Hello SAP gurus
I have created Transport Request files (K and R files_ and have placed Transport request files in trans and data directories of a target system.
On target system I started transaction code STMS_IMPORT and then selected
Extras -> Other Requests -> Add
Then selected the transport request number adn clicked on OK. I have done this before and had not seen the problem that I am seeing now.
At this point I get an error message
Transport control program tp ended with error code 0212
Errors: could not access file as supposed (see dev_tp or S
What am I doing wrong? Any suggestion or feedback will be highly appreciated.

I followed your instructions and so far here is what I have done.
Since this is just a test server, I have given full permissions to /usr directory and all the files and directories below that.
The user account is a copy of J2EE_ADMIN. I have also added   'SAP_ALL', 'S_TMW_IMPORT' Profiles.
I am attaching the log which still indicates that there is permission problem.
Any other suggestion will be highly appreciated.
