Problem in loading Adobe Flash for Internet Explorer 9 Windows 7 64 bit

Any one can advise what can I do?

Dear benlim18,
IE 9 is a Microsoft product which is under beta test.It is supposed to fix the bugs of IE 8.Thus,if you use it,then it is at your own risk.I guess if you post this concern in the microsoft support forum,I'm pretty sure you will have lots of help available.Search it starting at support.microsoft.com.
Although I work for HP, the above inputs are from my personal judgments and doesn't represent HP inputs or judgements.
Best Regards,

We've uninstalled and reinstalled Flash (latest version). Any ideas?

Since you mention Internet Explorer, I assume that you are on Windows.
Try downloading this installer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe, save it to disk, then close all IE windows and run the downloaded installer.

  • Quicktime for Internet Explorer 64-bit not working?

The past couple days I was doing some testing on a computer running Windows 7 64-bit. I noticed that while using Internet Explorer, any embedded Quicktime media would prompt the surfer to download Quicktime when in fact it's already installed on the system.
When I'd approve the download/installation anyhow I'd get a brief pause, then nothing. No error message, but IE still did not have QT capabilities. Tried multiple times, still no luck.
Is QT even compatible with IE 64-bit? It's a concern for me not because I actually use IE (and certainly don't want to get into an argument over the merits of various OSs and browsers), but because I'm presenting a large archive of Quicktime videos and I want them to be compatible with a variety surfers' systems.

    Good-O.
Working on the principle that this might be caused by some subtle damage to the QuickTime program files relating to ActiveX controls, I think we should try a clean uninstall/reinstall of QuickTime, taking a few other explicit precautions along the way (just in case).
First, download and save a fresh copy of the QuickTime installer from the Apple Website. (Don't run the install on line, and don't start the install just yet. Get the installer that doesn't mention iTunes.)
    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
Now head into your Uninstall a program control panel. Uninstall QuickTime.
Next we'll clear away any leftover program files and folders.
In "Computer" open "Local Disk C:" or whichever drive you have your *program files* installed on.
Open the "Program Files (x86)" folder.
Right-click on the "QuickTime" folder (if it still exists) and select "Delete").
Go back into "Local Disk C:" or whichever drive you have your *operating system* installed on.
    Open the "Windows" folder.
    Open the "SysWOW64" folder.
Right-click on the QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx files (if they still exist) and select "Delete".
    Restart the PC.
After the PC restarts, do not open any applications (especially not either of the IE 8 browsers). Disconnect from your network and/or the internet. Now switch off all your security software. (Firewall, antivirus, antispyware.)
Now start the QuickTime reinstall by doubleclicking the QuickTimeInstaller.exe file you downloaded earlier.
(This may also update your Apple Application Support to version 1.3.0 ... I'm not sure whether or not the QT 7.6.6 installer bundle has been modified to include the new version yet.)
Reenable all security software prior to reconnecting to your network and/or the internet.
Did the QuickTime install seem to go through okay?
If so, fire up the 64-bit version of IE 8 and browse to a website containg QuickTime content ... like Apple.com, for example. Do you get asked by IE to install the ActiveX component this time around? If so, does it install properly this time?

    Greetings one and all.

Do you have all the latest point updates for Acrobat XI installed?  11.0.06 was the first point version to support IE11.

  • Adobe plugin for Internet Explorer?

I recently upgraded from XP to Windows 7 Professtional. When I had XP I had a Adobe toolbar plugin that would let me save websites (and MS Word docs) as PDFs. I was able to set options such as compression and image quality for PDFs.
Now that I have Windows 7 Professional and my adobe plug in is gone. Anyone know where to go to get this? Im completely lost.
I still have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro but just missing the plugin for IE and MS Word.
    thanks

I mentioned I have the Acrobat Pro 9 version.
    Also, Im using IE 8.

  • Windows 7 incorrect registry permissions to load Adobe Flash

I have discovered  Windows 7 has incorrectly assigned invalid registry  permissions to the entries pertaining to Adobe Flash (possibly among other keys).  For example, the system Administrator is able to load Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.94 but when logging in on the same computer as a regular user it fails.  Briefly inspecting the registry permissions on certain keys, I discovered the system has created permissions for an 'Unknown' account (has an invalid SID) which possibly is creating the error for regular users not to be able to load Adobe Flash.  Obviously, Windows 7 (64bit in my case) has a bug which is causing for problems with loading Adobe Flash.  What is the recommended solution to correct my problem?  (If I continue with Windows).
    Thank you,
    ~Sreyes27

I am trying to avoid a clean install of my operating system (as this has been done several times, due to this bug within Windows 7).  I am trying to get to the root of the problem so it is corrected and this bug is removed.  If you meant to perform a clean install of Adobe Flash, I have done that already.  Interestingly enough, when a regular user does proceed with the Adobe Flash installation, it does succeed.  The user is able to load Adobe Flash but only during his logon session.  As soon as he/she logs off, Adobe Flash fails to load again.  The user is back to square one.  Any idea?
    Thank you,
    ~Sreyes27

  • Solution center suddenly ask for enabling Adobe Flash player for internet explorer for scanning

Solution center suddenly ask for enabling Adobe Flash player for internet explorer for scanning. However, flash player is installed and enabled, but HP Solution center keeps asking for enabling and doesn't let me scan.
    Any suggestion?

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @yuvalyanai
I read about the issue you are having with scanning, as you are seeing a message to enable Adobe Flash player.
To begin, I would like to know some more information:
Which operating system you are running and which printer you are working with?
How Do I Find My Model Number?
Which Windows Operating System am I running?
    Can you make copies successfully?
Can you print from your computer?
Have you tried updated Adobe Flash player?
Can you scan successfully from Microsoft Paint?
How is your printer connected to your PC, wireless, ethernet or USB?
In the meantime, try resetting the printer:
Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
I hope to hear from you, have a wonderful weekend

  • Unable to download or install flash player for internet explorer

I recently reinstalled the entire operating system (windows 7) on my pc and since doing so ive been re-installing a lot of software, flash player works perfectly on chrome but is not installed for internet explorer 10, whenever the add-on is detected as missing, and im prompted to download it via https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/, the page simply doesn't load (see screenshot), ive attempted downloading it via chrome and then enabling it, but it still doesn't show up, i've simply run out of options

    1. Internet Explorer 11 is the latest release. You might want to check for Windows updates to get IE11.

  • Problems loading Adobe Flash SWF file

Our users are experienceing problems loading Adobe Flash SWF
    files.
One example of a problem file is:
    http://www.adobe.com/enterprise/accessibility/popup_acr8_accessibility.html
User traffic is flowing through a Cisco ASA firewall - these
problems do not seem to occur from home networks or a Netscreen
firewall. The Cisco ASA does NOT have http deep packet inspection
turned on, and any traffic initiated by clients inside the firewall
should be allowed. The symptom is that Internet Explorer will begin
to download the video, but will hang at some point along the way
(for this particular URL it hangs at about 7%). No error messages
are displayed, but the video never displays on the screen either. I
would appreciate hearing from anyone who may have run into this
before, or if someone can explain what is different about this type
of file from regular Adobe Flash, that might help figure out what
the ASA is objecting to. The ASA does not appear to generate any
log messages about denying this type of traffic either.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide...

Thanks, but I use publish/export settings with GPU hardware acceleration and flash version 11.2 (and 11.8) but nothing happening.
And why gif file is not all transparenty then I insert on lightblue background? It can't export good quality? Also I use Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe Edge Animate. And nothing happening. Egde animate file .oam is not good for old website navigation. It can't be inserted in freeshop site from navigation... I use logo file .oam just for example here - http://e-shoptagras.graphicsrim.eu
In reality I want swf file, but we don't find why logo flickering? here http://tagraseshop.graphicsrim.eu

  • How can I know if the version of Flash Player installed is the right version for Internet Explorer?

    Hello,
I have Windows 7 Starter with Internet Explorer 8 and Adobe Flash Player 10,1,85,3.
I am experiencing problems with one particular web site which uses Flash technology to operate its web site., which is:
    gadget-detective.moonfruit.com.
It has been suggested to me that I check I have installed the correct Flash Player for the web browser
I am using which is Internet Explorer 8, that in particular I should check I have not installed in error a Flash Player
for "other browsers". I do not know how to check if the version of Flash Player I have installed is the correct one for
Internet Explorer, but, when I go to the Adobe web site at:
    http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
it states that Flash Player is successfully installed.
Here are the problems I have been encountering with accessing the above-mentioned "gadget-detective" web site,
where I have had to use different URLs to attempt to get access to the technical advice areas on their web site:
1)A Welcome page with a link to the Free Technical Advice page located someway down the centre of the Welcome page,
but still with none of the previous links along the left side:
    http://www.gadget-detective.moonfruit.com/#/free-tech-advice/4515074362
2)A Welcome page with no links at the left side and in particular no link at all to the Free Technical Advice page:
    http://www.gadgetdetective.com/
    3)A completely black page:
    http://gadget-detective.moonfruit.com/#/free-tech-advice/4537230823
How can I be certain that I have the correct version of Flash Player for my web browser Internet Explorer 8?
    Regards.

    Hello  ʇɐb ɹəuəllıʍ ,
Thanks for your reply. I would appreciate it if you could let me know what the Flash Player setting
called "Hardware Acceleration" does, before I try disabling it.
    Regards.

  • Hi im having huge problems trying to install flash for my mac 10.5 imac, iv gone through the internet and tried all of the solutions, everytime i try to install flash it says cant read the download file, or it just wont install, anybody plz help!

hi im having huge problems trying to install flash for my mac 10.5 imac, iv gone through the internet and tried all of the solutions, everytime i try to install flash it says cant read the download file, or it just wont install, anybody plz help!
iv unistalled flash, iv checked plug ins it just wont work,

It would have been a great help to know precisely what Mac you have, so some of the following may not apply:
You can check here:  http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/  to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS. Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. The latest version,10.3.183.23 or later, is for Intel Macs only running Tiger or Leopard, as Adobe no longer support the PPC platform. Version 11.4.402.265 or later is for Snow Leopard onwards.
(If you are running Mavericks: After years of fighting malware and exploits facilitated through Adobe's Flash Player, the company is taking advantage of Apple's new App Sandbox feature to restrict malicious code from running outside of Safari in OS X Mavericks.)
    * Unhelpfully, if you want the last version for PPC (G4 or G5) Macs, you need to go here:  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html  and scroll down to 'Archived Versions/Older Archives'. Flash Player 10.1.102.64 is the one you download. More information here:  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/838/cpsid_83808.html
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/909/cpsid_90906.html
and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications (including Safari) first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.
After installing, reboot your Mac and relaunch Safari, then in Safari Preferences/Security enable ‘Allow Plugins’. If you are running 10.6.8 or later:
When you have installed the latest version of Flash, relaunch Safari and test.
If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then in System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser.
You can also try these illustrated instructions from C F McBlob to perform a full "clean install", which will resolve the "Blocked Plug-in" message when trying to update via the GUI updater from Adobe.
Use the FULL installer for 12.0.0.44:  Flash Player 12 (Mac OS X)
And the instructons are here: Snow Leopard Clean Install.pdf
(If you are running a PPC Mac with Flash Player 10.1.102.64 and are having problems with watching videos on FaceBook or other sites, try the following solution which fools the site into thinking that you are running the version 11.5.502.55:)
Download this http://scriptogr.am/nordkril/post/adobe-flash-11.5-for-powerpc to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.
