Problem in loading Master data

Hi,
I have a master data called 0VENDOR. It has both attribute and text. it has several attributes and only 0VENDOR and its description are filled with data and rest not. Now i am trying to load data but records are transferring but not getting added i.e 0 no of records are added.
i tried deleting master data but it is not happening and i deleted all transaction data related to master data but stillnot able to delete...is there any solution for this?

Hi Vijaya,
Were you able to delet data ... how are you sure that the data has been deleted?
1. Right click 0VENDOR and select maintain master data.
2. With out any restriction check out what data is in the Info Object
If you still find data go to SE14 and repeat the process for all the master data tables (/BI0/pvendor, /BI0/svendor, /BI0/qvendor, ....)
1. Enter the table name and press edit
2. Selet the option . Delete Data
3. Press the button Delete and Activate
***Repeat the process for all the tables
Now goto the info Package and execute it ... hopefully your problem will be resolved. Let us know if it did not work.

Hi,
i am loading master data for 0PROJECT. for attributes and text we do have delta.
for text after load added records will be 0 eventhough few records there and they are transferred records. i checked in RSA3 it has records.
can any body tell me the reason for this?

for full load only no of added records are 0 where transferred are 26.
i checked in master data table and all these records already present... may be becoz of that reason if i do full load and delta ...added is 0 only.
am i right in this? plz let me know.

Problem while loading master data - Help

I am using BI-7. I have Customer & Plant compounded in ZMat_Plant. I am trying to load zmat_Plant but getting following error.
I followed the solution as in link,but didnt worked: RSDMD 194: Error Loading 0Material 7.0 using 0SOURSYSTEM as compounding

Diagnosis
    Data record 1 & with the key '00000000033000100000009 &' is invalid in value '00000000033000100000009 &' of the attribute/characteristic ZMAT_PLNT &.
System Response
    The system has recognized that the value mentioned above is invalid, and has processed this general error message. A subsequent message may give you more information on the error. This message refers to the same value, even though it does not state this explicitly.
Procedure
    If this message appears during a data load, maintain the attribute in the PSA maintenance screens. If this message appears in the master data maintenance screens, leave the transaction and call it again. This allows you to maintain your master data.

I used 'APLHA' conversion routine in infopackage, so the problem has been solved. Thanks...

Problem While loading Master data from R/3

Hi All,
When i am trying to load masters data from R/3 datasources to BW Info objects in Info provider menu data is coming to PSA but going to dta targets. the data is matching with the data in R/ 3 but
Missing message: Request received
Missing message: Number of sent records
Missing message: Selection completed
Data Package 1 : arrived in BW ; Processing : Selected number does not agree with transferred n
Info IDoc 1 : sent, not arrived ; IDoc ready for dispatch (ALE service)
and error message says ERROR 4 in the update.

Check for pending IDOCS in BD87 or SM58 and execute them.
In RSMO, select the particular load you want to monitor.
In the menu bar, Environment >>> Transact. RFC >>> Select whichever is required, BW or Source System.
In the next screen you can select the Execute button and the IDOCS will be displayed.
Refer this Tcodes for IDOC status.

Check Note 561880 - Requests hang because IDocs are not processed.

Transact RFC error
tRFC Error - status running Yellow for long time (Transact RFC will be enabled in Status tab in RSMO).
Step 1: Goto Details, Status get the IDoc number,and go to BD87 in R/3,place the cursor in the RED IDoc entroes in tRFC
queue thats under outbound processing and click on display the IDOC which is on the menu bar.
Step 2: In the next screen click on Display tRFC calls (will take you to SM58 particular TRFC call)
place the cursor on the particular Transaction ID and go to EDIT in the menu bar --> press 'Execute LUW'
(Display tRFC calls (will take you to SM58 particular TRFC call) ---> select the TrasnID ---> EDIT ---> Execute LUW)
Rather than going to SM58 and executing LUW directly it is safer to go through BD87 giving the IDOC name as it will take you
to the particular TRFC request for that Idoc.

Error Caller 70" is missing while loading master data

Hi All,
I am facing a Problem while loading master data getting error like "Error Caller 70" is missing" ,there are 4 data packages and in that except one all other with status green .1 data pakage is showing with red color, its update till only PSA .

Error 0 update while loading master data

Hi,
Iam facing a problem while loading master data.Data has comes to PSA but it getting failed to load into infoobject it is showing the error " error in the 0 update".
Ihave tried for manual update, even though it is showing same problem .masterdata 0material is copy back from production to Quality.presently iam uploading data in quality.can anybody give your valuable suggestions.

I've a compounding characteristic in this characteristic.
And the master data loading was fine yesterday but today it doesn't work.
When I check with rsrv this characteristic, a dump with message:
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLRRSI" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
In program "GP47HH4A9VROVK98YR0TT9S7TQ5 ", the following syntax error occurred
in the Include "GP47HH4A9VROVK98YR0TT9S7TQ5 " in line 25:
"Field "/BIC/MZCATWRT" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specifie"
"d tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement."
So I think something is wrong in this Char.
But what can I do for that?

Errro in loading master data-- 0employee_text

hello,
I am facing problem in loading master data.i m getting error in PSA 'language key in initial' for all the records i.e 253 .and under processing tab it is giving as 'Error 4 in update'
but i can't see language key in R/3 data source and in even transfer rules it is not mapped.
Pls can one tell me wht would be the problem?

hi, if in ur infoobject definition, if u have checked text is language dependant, then it will ask for language key..
one option is to hardcode it to English in transfer rules if ur source sys has only english data

Loading Master data using DTP's

Hi,
I have got a problem with loading master data,we use DTP's for loading it,but the requests were failing due to prior incorrect requests for that master data infoobject,inspite of the fact that Master data always overwrites and also the DTP's were full update enabled.
To load successfully we need to go and delete the previous requests all the time.
I think there must be some way of solving this problem,help from you all will be really appreciated.

yeah you would need to delete the incorrect requests before you can load again. Though the master data is overwrite, with the incorrect request the status can never be A.

Duplication of records while loading Master Data.

Hi All,
I am facing problem while loading master data from 0BPARTNER_ATTR. The infopackage is getting failed showing message "44 duplicate record found. 32 recordings used in table 44 duplicate record found. 32 recordings used in table /BI0/XBPARTNER"
we can rectify manually but daily the loading is getting failed showing the same message. So Cvan anybody suggest me how to rectify this problem permanently. And Can you Explain me why the error is?
If i go to PSA and check i can find only one dulplicate record. I am not able to understand the Error Message.

Hi,
there was (is?) a recent problem in the SAP BI 7.0 software, so that duplicates were removed during init load, but not during delta load. Although the DTP could not set currently (also an error that has already a SAP note). We added a manual removal using ABAP code to avoid upgrading to a new SAP version. That helped. The duplicates may also result from two full request that are loaded at the same time.
Hope this help to analyse the problem in details.

Problem load master data

Hi experts
I am trying to load master data 0MATERIAL ATTR, there is no error when load into PSA but when I did load into IO it shows error as below:
Too many error records - update terminated
Example:
Record 1 :0MATERIAL : Data record 1 ('000000020000000001 '): Version '000000020000000001 ' is not valiad RSDMD 194
Please kindly advice if you have any idea how to fix the problem.

Hi Angel,
There might be a problem in data from source system. Check the tech spec of the info object like type length etc.in BW. then check with the data in PSA.

Lock NOT set for: Loading master data attributes error

Hi experts,
We were encountering this error before when trying to load master data. When we checked the system we could not find any locks at the time, and activation or kicking off the attribute change run failed again. We finally solved the problem running FM RSDDS_AGGR_MOD_CLOSE which sets the close flag to 'X' in table RSDDAGGRMODSTATE. I have read that it is possible this lock error happens when two change runs happen at the same time.
My question are:
1. is it possible to find out what process exactly "caused" the lock? the table RSDDAGGRMODSTATE does not have a reference to any object or job. I am curious as we are trying to find ways to avoid this in the future...
2. in our case, when we could not find any locks, is running this fm the only work around? is this a best practice?

I have had this problem in the past (3.0B) --> the reason is that our system was too slow and could not crunch the data fast enough, therefore packets where loacking each other.
The fix: load the data into the PSA only, and then send it in background from the PSA to the info object. By doing this, only a background process will run, therefore locks cannot happen.
Fix#2: by a faster server (by faster, I mean more CPU power)
Now, maybe you have another issue with NW2004s, this was only my 2 cents quick thought

Error 194 while loading Master Data.

Hi,
I've a custom Info Object which has 0MATERIAL as an attribute. While trying to load master data to this custom info object using DBConnect , I'm getting the error:
RSDMD 194
0MATERIAL: Data record 1('0001003') : Version '1009841' is not valid.
I think it's a problem with conversion exit. But I'm not able to solve this problem. It would be of great help if you could guide me on how to overcome this.

I'm thinking for DB Connected datasources we have Propose Tab Page and Fileds Tab Page. In the Propose tab Page you can see data type and Format(internal or External or check). select external, put data type of your Material Infoobject Data type in the Propose Tab Page.

Error while loading master data from R/3

Hi Friends,
            I'm just trying to load master data for the infoobject of type "0BUS_AREA", but i have got data into PSA, but not got into char, i have got an error stating that
Record 1 :No source system ID exists for source system (logical system) RD1CLNT100
In tran structure there are two objects not being populated 0LOGSYS & OSOURCESYSTEM, which might cause the problem.

           Thanx for your replay, in that one column is there, "source system id" but it is empty, how to generate that two digit source system id and also there are three kind of tabs like
"Release IDs that are in use" "Suggest Source System IDs" & "Maintain Logical Systems"
         How to use and which one to use, and how to follow step by step to run loads once again by populating "OLOGSYS" & "OSOURCESYSTEM" ?

What if i load transaction data without loading master data

Hello experts,
What are the consequences if i load transaction data without loading master data?Are there any other factors except the load performance because of SID generations etc and inconsistencies.

Problem here is:
when the transaction load starts a new master data such as employee(x) would be have been created in R/3 which does not exist in BW and hence transaction load fails.

Hi Rao,
In case you load the master data after loading the transcation data and if there is any look up at the master data in teh update rules, then you can delete and reconstruct the requests in the ODS/Cube so that the latest master data is pulled in in the data target.
Make sure you do the Apply hier/attr change before doing the delete and reconstruct.

Caller-70 Error while loading master data into infoobject

hi ,
I am getting following error while loading master data into infoobject (0tb-account). I am loading this master data in production environment for the first time. there are about 300000 records. All have got loaded upto PSA. Infopackage settings were PSA and then into data target.

Diagnosis
The data update was not finished. A short dump has probably been logged in BI. This provides information about the error.
System Response
"Caller 70" is missing.
ST22 dump analysis is as below:
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "GP476CZYBEF2WX53UZ8TXFG6XOS" - in
"VALUE_TO_SID_CONVERT_DB".
The main program was "RSMO1_RSM2 ".
Please help as soon as you can..Production problem....

May be IDOCs not processed completely,
Idoc Problem, Either wait till time out & process Idoc from detail monitor screen, or go to BD87 & process Idoc with status = YELLOW ( be careful while processing IDOCS from BD87, choose only relevant Idocs
