Problem in logging in to CRM OD through Web service

Hi all,
I am trying to generate the JSESSIONID using SOAP UI. I userd following XML, with the URL as https://secure-ausomx<POD>.crmondemand.com/Services/Integration?command=login.
The XML provided is as following:

As per the error message, user id and password is wrong. But I am able to login to the application with same credential using browser and a sample C# code.
Please help me understand where I am going wrong?

I tried the solution mentioned but did not work.
Let me tell you one more thing that the CRM On Demand environment i am using has recently moved from R16 to R17. I tried with the same xml in R16 and could login but not able to do it in R17. So does this have any effect on this. What change i have to do for R17?

Hi, yes I only use jax-ws to generate client artifacts for On Demand. I can imagine for first time user you have really big problems to generate the client code... The reason for this is in most cases the size of the wsdl files.
What you can do is.
1. Think about what you really need of the selected wsdl. eg. if it is account do you need all related objects like PlanAccount etc?
2. If you know what you need start to delete the not needed definitions from the wsdl and try the generation of client afterwards.

I'm new to LiveCycle designer. I have designed a PDF form in LC designer ES2, which suppose to take a personnel number and retrieve the personnel information from a SQL server database. Currently its working fine with XML data and a search button, but I need to securly connect to a database through web service. I know how to connect to a wsdl file through designer. What I need is a wsdl file to connect the form to database. For this purpose, is there any WSDL code to use as the web service?

"Cipher not initialized" when trying to invoke CRM On Demand web service

I'm try to invoke CRM On Demand web service for which there is a pre-req to get a session ID by making an https request. I've the below java embedded code which does that. Same question...did you ever got this resolved...for me, even the simple java program, when run on JDev 11g is ALSO not working. I am getting this.
Using JDev 10g on the same machine (or for that matter SOA 10g) works perfectly.

Siebel Integration with Adobe LiveCycle through Web Services

I am new to Adobe LiveCycle and I have very little knowledge in Adobe LiveCycle. What we are planning is to send a PDF from Siebel to Adobe LiveCycle and that should extract the data from PDF and return the data back to Siebel. I think this can be done through Web Services. If anyone has any idea, kindly let me know.

I am not sure why you need to send a PDF form from Siebel to a LiveCycle ES server-side process, to have LiveCycle send data back to Siebel, when the data came from Siebel in the first place. It is more typical that applications send data to LiveCycle to have the data merged with a form template to render PDF.
Regardless, there are a variety of solutions depending upon your solution requirements, business requirements, infrastructure, client-server preferences, security requirements, etcetera, to do what you are seeking. LiveCycle ES processes expose endpoints to consume data from a variety of protocols and formats, including SOAP, EJB (RMI), email, LiveCycle remoting (for Flex clients), and watched folders.
A solution could be as simple as dropping an XDP-based PDF into a network folder, the PDF would be consumed by LiveCycle, a process extracts the data from the PDF, and a Web Service pushes the data back to Siebel.

Sending audio files through web service

How can we send audio (mp3,wmv) files through web services ? i have tried making a byte array of the file and then sending the byte array through the web service, but it give OutOfMemory error. so is there any better and practical way of doing it ?

Customer creation through Web service portal in ECC

We have a requirement where we have to Create/ Change Customers (Tcode XD01/ XD02) in ECC through Web service portal linked with RFCu2019s.
1.      There is standard FM for this SD_CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_ALL, But SAP standard functionality/ notes recommend not to use this FM for such requirements.
2.      Since we have periodic configuration changes for Customers, The option for using BDCu2019s is also ruled out.
3.      Since we have to do the error handling and reporting back to web service portal end as well, Using IDocu2019s also looks tricky at this moment.
Please suggest ways to accomplish this. Any input is welcomed.

SD_CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_ALL is used in standard during the maintenance of a consumer using the standard customer master data transaction XD01 & XD02.
It is not intended to be used out of the transaction and in no case it should be used out of its original context. Due to the specificity of the function module, out of the original context we may face limitations and data inconsistencies.
This is precisely what you will face in your case.
For the maintenance of customers, there is NO BAPI and NO direct function module.
There are some functions modules like the one above where the name is looking nice. But these should not be used.
Below ECC 2005 (6.00), the only solution was batch input and DEBMAS idocs. See [note 384462|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/384462]
Starting with ECC 2005 (6.00) and above: a synchronisation tool has been introduce. See class CMD_EI_API and VMD_EI_API

CRM survey through the (service SICF) webgui

I am facing a problem with the questionnaire.
when we are activating the service webgui through sicf and access the questionnaire in the activity there is an error ..
Problem: I have a questionnaire that i have defined through the CRM_SURVEY_SUITE and have assigned the questionnaire to a transaction type " Activity " now in this Questionnairei have the push button of " SAVE" and " RESET"
When i access this questionnaire through the SAP GUI on pressing the SAVE button in the questionnaire the version number is generated and on saving the transaction the transaction number gets generated.
However when i am accessing the same through the web gui on pressing the SAVE Button in the questionnaire there is an error message saying " page cannot be displayed"
Pls suggest what needs to be done to resolve this error

The Journal Entry navigation is working with other JE documents. Its creating the problem in those JE which are generated for Outgoing Pyaments.
I have gone through the JE web services there is only one variable "FCCurrency". I think that its not related to currency codes.
