Problem in mail box

why does only the important emails show up in my blackberry ?
I am using Blackberry Curve 9300 and i just don't understand why all of my incoming emails from gmail only show up in the message icon and do not show up in Gmail icon. Only the important emails can be seen from my Gmail icon.
please give me the solution

Excel Attachment Problem in Mail box

Hi All,
I had program in which i am sending mail along with Excel attachment using FM SO_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1. Mail is going fine with data in Excel attachment. But when i try to open the Excel it gives an Info message saying that "You are trying to open (attachment name),is in different format than specified file extension Verify that file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening file. Do you want to open file now". Then when i presses YES, Excel opens up with all data. I want to know how to avoid that info popup. Is there something has to be passed to FM or something has to be done to Excel like settings in EXCEL so that i can avoid that Info message coming.
Document type of attachment is gw_packing_list-doc_type = 'XLS'.
Can someone help me on this ?

Also the mail is acting very funny by not getting the rules work in a proper method. Is ther a software to repair mail.

i did both of them, but still the while sending the mail the diolog box is not showing up and also the spelling and grammer does not do the spelling check.
This problem just started for about 3 to 4 days now. earlier it was working normally.

When i try to open docs in mail box i get an error msg : there is a problem with adobe acrobat/read

Mail box behaviour is not okay using gmail. All mails in INBOX gets replicated in Trash. This is a recent phenomenon. Not clear where the problem lies - in Gmail or in new OS in MAC.

I use MAC Mail box for my gmail account. In the last one month or so, my gmail behaviour is erratic. When I tyrpe mails and send, a spate of intermediate version gets stored as draft in TRASH forcing these to be manually deleted.
Another new issue: All INBOX Mails appear now in TRASH also. If I delete, Trash contents, I lost all mail in INBOX also. I re-created my INBOX content from Archive Mail box. Then all mails appear in TRASH folder alaso.
I am not sure where the problem lies - Is it an issue of Gamil, or new Maverick OS that I use in my MACPRO. This was never before say one or two months before.
The situation is distrubing and please advice whether I should reset any configuration.

I removed all mails sitting in Trash this time by using DELETE command; and then again clicked "REBUILD". Now the Trash is empty. I hope the problem is resolved for now. Thanks for the tips given instantly. Venkat

Login problem with rediffmail mail box

since last few days I am not able to login my rediff mail box.
every time i get massage "you have been logged out"

Exporting to Unix mail boxes and lots of other problems

The newer themailer gets the worse it gets. The mailer won't do moves successfully, won't get and save all xcontents all the time as it should, delays showing mail it gets, and on and on. I want to export all of my emails (100,000 or so of them) to Unix email formats so I can escape the crappy applicaiton and go back to elm or some other mailer. How do I export to Unix mail box format? Don't bother to tell me to drag and drop to the desktop. It does not do the translation!

To convert to mbox, emlxconvert says it will do the job.
I can't make head nor tail of the other problems you say you are having. (I happily used elm for 15 years before switching to Mail.app about 2 years ago, but now you couldn't pay me to go back.)

Problems accesing the Unity mail box

I have the next situation. When I call to the mail box number, the system responds and plays a message that says "Unity is not available at the moment, please try again later". If I call to any user number I can leave a voice message, but when the user try to access his mail box the system plays the message that I am telling you. Why this situation? Any idea to resolve this?

Is there a limit to the number of mail boxes in mail?

I cannot set up a new mailbox under the mail box menu within Mail. All I get is a "boing.

Mail is set to check every 5 minutes.
The error it reports is "Could not connect to the IMAP server. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the Account preferences. Also verify that the server supports SSL. If it does not, uncheck the "Use SSL" checkbox in the Avanced tab of Account preferences"
However, I'm sure it's not a problem with the settings because 1) these settings have been fine for weeks, and 2) if i inactivate any of the accounts the others (that are showing errors) no longer show errors).
If I have fewer accounts connecting, or if I switch of SSL, then the errors go away.
I would prefer to connect using SSL, which is why I'm not simply switching off SSL and forgetting about it.

Send an email to a mail box when generate a xml publisher report in R12

I faced a tough problem about xml publisher, there is a user's requirement, they want to send an email to a common mail box after user run the xml publisher report in EBS R12 instance, and they can check the report in mail box, I have not met any reuqirement like this before, so anybody has the experience about this? and please kindly share it with me, thanks a lot.
It seems I need upload the rtf file or xml file to a directory and then system will send the mail automaticlly, but I do not know the detail information.

Problems with Mail after upgrading to 10.9.1

I am running into problems with Mail after installing 10.9.1. I had NO problems with Mail prior to this update.
Problems I have encountered so far are:
- I don't receive some e-mails on my Gmail account.
- I have sent e-mails that supposedly got "sent" but do not show up in my Sent box both on mail and on web Gmail. My Outbox is empty also.
Has anyone encountered the same problems and found a solution?

Yes Paul I have, but no solution. I cannot send email. My ISP uses a smtp mail server for sending and It will not log in. Have had ISP on phone and checked all settings. Can only put it down to Mavericks.
It worked OK for a week after upgrading then stopped. So now having to use web mail to send email.
Strange thing is I receive mail OK, just cant send.

How do I get rid of duplicate "in" and "sent" mail boxes?

I have installed a new version of Thunderbird on a new machine and used Easy Transfer to move my mail boxes etc from my old machine. The problem is that I now have duplicate "in" and "sent" mail boxes. New in and sent mail only appears in one of them but I can't delete the other. I have deleted all messages in the extra "in" box (they were all duplicates) but have not been able to do the same with the messages in the duplicate "sent" box because the "deleted" folder where they would go is not big enough to take the 16000 messages in there (when I "select all" and "delete" it just says "deleted folder is full" when in fact there's nothing in it; I am assuming this just means it would not take all the messages to be deleted). Help please!
