Problem in maintaining service user for CCM srm_cse

Hello all,
We are implementing SRM 4.0 (EBP 5.5) SSP scenario.
To support shopping of EBP we are also implementing CCM 2.0 as an add on.
Please note CCM and EBP are on same client and CAT & CSE are also on the same client.
No XI is involved as the catalog will be only uploaded in CSV format.
I am doing intial configurations for CAT and CSE.
Now we know that we need to configure a service user in the service of srm_cse.
I am adding the same in SRM client-> trans SICF -> default host -> sap -> bc -> bsp -> ccm -> srm_cse ->change service -> log on procedure- log on data reqd. -> Anonymous log on data - details of client, user, password, language.
since my SRM and CCM are in same client I have put the same client no. and given the user with role "/CCM/CATALOG_SEARCH"
But when I am saving this change in service I am getting an error messaeg that " Changes to Repository or cross-client Customizing are not permitted ".
I am in a same client hence there is no question of cross client customizing .
The other cause left is CHANGES TO REPOSITORY .
Can anybody tell me where I should do config so that this "changes to repository" error message will be be corrected?

How to maintain Service Arrangements for employees in CRM 5.0

Hello,
in the CRM documentation on help.sap.com (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/da/7d808043d244cf806dcf0d6e69381e/frameset.htm) it is mentioned that one can maintain service arrangements for employees. These service arrangements contain - for example - service areas and qualifications of the employee (ressource).
I know where to maintain the customizing values, however, I didn't find out where to maintain the service arrangements for the employees.
Any idea?

Hi ,
for this you need to go to trnasaction PPOMA_CRM - Maintain Organizational Model
and in this you need to open your organization model and there you need to assign employees.
for this you need to select the post and right click on that and there is assign filed is there. after selecting that there is two position holder and owner.
so you select holder for the position. then you can assign the employee to that service area.

ADOBE DOCUMENT SERVICES: User for AdobeDocumentServices/Config

Hi Adobe Lovers,
I am still in the troublesome process of activating ADOBE forms in our development system.
First step was full installation of SAPGUI including ADOBE Lifecycle Designer
Then the RFC destination ADS was maintained although not proven 100% correct
Next they configured a printer for PDF - until recently we had only SAPWIN printer
I don't know what else the basis exactly did - they are working at a remote location administrating about a hundred systems.
Now, when I run test report FP_TEST_00 (or try to test my own form), a login popup for Ressource AdobeDocumentServices/Config comes up. Basis guy does not know why this comes and what user should be used.
And I could not find any related information.
Thanks for help resolving this, preferedly from people working with ADS.

Hi Otto,
same result with FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE. In debugger I saw, that the http request sent with user as configured in sm59 ADS destination gets an authorization failure. As I have no rights and no access to java stack, I have to wait for basis people to solve it. But basis does it the first time...
I just dont get the meaning of "I recommend the users (machine users) used for the communication between the SAP-backend and the ADS webservices."
How to check what?

Problems with maintaining master data for infoobject 0SOLD_TO

Hello experts,
I'm not getting 'maintain master dada' option when I right click on the infoobject 0SOLD_TO. The data is already there from pervious data loads (from R/3 systems) and is visible in the reports. I'm using this infoobject in cube 0SD_C05 to report quotation/order details. Am I missing something here? Please guide.

I am currently setting up eRecruitment in integrated sytem with ehp3 and have created service user for Unregistered candidate and content server.I want to use Web Dynpro Services and need to know the Services in Web Dynpro to which Service users will be assigned in ICF.
Also let me know if in integrated System where Erec (support pack 14)& SAP HR are in One system ,Webdynpro can be used.

How to use an authenticated user for a proxy call

I am currently working on a JEE application where the user needs to authenticate (for this I have configured the web.xml).
Now inside this application I need to do a proxy call to a PI webservice.
I would like to use the user credentials of the already logged in user in order to call the proxy.
What I don't want to do is to use a service user for the proxy call.
The code I am trying to call looks something like this:

from the first screenshot, what I understood is that, you are calling an inbound PI web service that is intended to create an integrated configuration object (this is used for whole lot of other reason completely) but not actually calling a development web service.
For this, you would have to generate your client classes from the WSDL provided by the PI developer for that particular service. Once you get those client classes generated, you could used the method provided in the other screenshot to extract the user and password and call the intended web service.

Difference between a Service user and Dailog user ?

Hi All,
Can anybody tell me the difference between a service user and a dailog user?
Why can't we use a service user for BSP applications?
We are on a 620 system and use bsp system login.
With a dialog user it works, but when I switch this user to a service user the login returns an empty login screen.

A service user can only be used for background processing and communication within a system (such as RFC users for ALE, Workflow, TMS, and CUA). Dialog screens are not allowed for these users.
Dialog users however have individual, interactive system access.

Yes, you can export / import the provisioning for a particular application.
By default the utility export all Users / Groups and provisioning for all applications.
To export provisioning for a particular application you need to modify the below parameters in CSS Import Export properties file.

export.provisioning.apps=(<Project Name>:<Application Name>)(<Project Name 1>:<Application Name 1>)

I have no created the recommended Service Users for our XI.
XIREPUSER - SAP_XI_IR_SERV_USER
XIDIRUSER- SAP_XI_IR_SERV_USER
XIISUSER- SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR; SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER
XILDUSER - SAP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE_DB_RFC
My questions are now:
Why do these User have to be "Service" Users?
ATM these Users are able to login, should that be changed ( if yes, how?)
For what in spezial do I need these Users? For Communication?

PIREPUSER - Integration Repository SLD Requests
PIDIRUSER - Integration Directory SLD Requests, IB Design Requests and Cache Update.
PIISUSER - Integration Server SLD Requests, Messaging to Adapter Engine and Cache Update.
PILDUSER - Exchange Profile, SLD Connection to AS ABAP data store.
These are the components where those service users will be used. These users will be used by PI system internally for data transfer from one component to another. There more service users than you mentioned in your request. And they are
PIAFUSER - Adapter Engine SLD Request and Messaging to Integration Server.
PIRWBUSER - Runtime Workbench Communication to all PI Components.
LSADMIN - Change Management Server
PIAPPLUSER - Connection to PI.
I think this will answer you 3rd question as well. I didn't understand your second question. Do you mean some thing about password changes or anything else. please do let me know, to answer your query better.

I have small question.
I'm adding system to SLD and on the system where SLD is located i have to create Destination (for RFC in abab system). In this Destination i need to set user from abap system.
But which roles this user should have?
I used my (sap all priveleges) account for testing and it works fine, but i whant to create service user for this porpose and need to to know roles for this user.

Problem in maintain attributes for position in maintain user attributes

I am facing a problem in Maintain User Attributes
I should get only 5 values for any user in attributes dropdown of attributes for position
But for some users I am getting as 10 values
and for some users I am getting it as 20 values ..
What my doubt is
will it be based on role dependency or anyother one ..

Hello,
The ability of changing attributes via User settings depends on the role
assigned to the user and whether this role has the appropriate rights to
change the attributes.
In this regard, check the customizing below:
SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross Application Basic Settings -> Roles ->
Maintain Attribute Access Rights by Role.
Here you define which parameter can be changed depending on the role
assigned to user in question.

How to change path of Users Terminal Services Profile for multiple AD users on server 2003?

Hello experts. I am working on a file server migration. All data has been migrated, I am currently working on redirecting users to the new file server. I
am able to select multiple users at once in ADUC -> right-click -> properties -> profile and here I can change the home folder and roaming profile path for each all users to point towards the new file server.
The issue I have run in to is that we have roaming profiles for terminal services users. So, there are hundreds of users that have their terminal services profile
configured in AD -> Right-click user (one at a time) -> properties -> terminal services profile. Here, the profile path is configured for each user as \\OLDserver\Profiles\%username%
and I need to change it to \\NEWserver\profiles\%username%.
I know that you can configure this path via group policy, I set up a GPO; Computer / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Terminal Services / “Set Path
for TS Roaming Profiles” as \\NEWserver\profiles and applied this GPO to an OU containing the TS servers.
The problem is, the GPO is not working... When I log in to the TS and add a document to My Documents, it is still saving under \\OLDserver\profiles\Username.
So, the settings in AD are trumping the GPO I believe. What is the best way to accomplish my goal? Thanks in advance!

No, it isn't. When you do not enable FR and you access "Documents", you
will never see an UNC path but the local c:\users\xyz\documents folder.
