Problem in Material replications

Hi friends,
I am having a problem on Material replication from R/3 to EBP. I had configured all the required settings in EBP as well as in R/3. Whenever we are starting initial loading R3AS I am getting outbound queues in EBP instead of R/3. I am getting the error like 'The current application triggered a termination'. I could able to replicate Vendor and Locations from R/3 to EBP. If anybody can solve this problem.

Hi,
If u define your condition type is manual and if you do any changes in quantity of order in change mode then manual condition will not be determined automatically. Again u have to enter it manually and then save it in change mode itself..

Problems during material replication from SRM 5.0 to ECC 6.0

Hello all,
I tried to replicate material master from ECC to SRM but i am not successful.
System can able to replicate all the product categories but not the material.
System showing the process is done and it is showing green light when i drilldown.
Can any one ever had experienced such a problem?

As mentioned in SAP OSS note 872533, DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is obsolete, therefore, Please skip the download of the object DNL_CUST_BASIS3 and continue with DNL_CUST_PROD0, DNL_CUST_PROD1 and MATERIAL.
Following OSS note 872533, DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is obsolete.(Though OSS note mention DNL_CUST BASIS3 is obsolete for SRM 5.0, However, this customizing object does help in synchronizing the UOM from R/3 to SRM.)
However, it seems to still work in SRM50...

For ISO codes synchronisation, you can go to transaction CUNI -> ISO and then select "utilities" -> "adjustment".
A pop-up will be displayed to select the backend code

Problem in material replication

Hi,
I have successfully replicated all business objects and services from R/3 system to SRM without having any problem. but while replicating materials i am getting the error "error in mapping" in SMQ1 of R/3 system.
I checked the log in smw01in that i found the errors like "specify the relevant unit of length,conversion factors of base units of measure set to1 and product ID CPC-10002 contains in valid special charavters" .
Where should i fix these errors.Please guide me .

Hi Baparao,
Compare the UoM for this maerial in both SRM and R/3 backend system.
Also it seems the product ID CPC-10002 is not compatible with the "Template for ID" defined in "Define Output Format and Storage Format of Product IDs".

Material Replication filtering problem

Dear Experts,
we are working on SRM 5.0 Server 5.5 and we are facing following problem during material replication and delta download replication. After making all steps related customizing objects alignment between R/3 and SRM, we putted the filter using transaction R3AC1:
- Table = MARA
- Field = PSTAT
- OP = CP
- Low = E
- Inclusive indicator
Then we Synchronized the filter and checked on R/3 table CRMFILTAB: the filter entry was existing even if disappeared after running on SRM MATERIAL Initial Download (strange!)
Our expectation was to get all materials from back-end having purchasing views and linked to material groups replicated. Unfortunately the number of materials replicated are less !!!!!
Also we tried to make delta download and the above filter is not taken into consideration during delta download: all products modified on the back-end are replicated, also those materials without purchasing view!!!!!
What is wrong???? What should we do for making this filter working???

we define CRM (middleware role in SRM) first on top and
the R/3(ECC) at bottom
is it reverse in your case?

Vendor and Material Replication from ECC6 Ehp7 to SRM7.0

Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue with replicating Material and Vendor Master from ECC to SRM system.
ECC system - ECC6.0 Ehp 7 & SRM system - SRM7.0
Middleware setting is done as per Note 720819 and performed the object like DNL_CUST_BASIS3 , DNL_CUST_PROD0, DNL_CUST_PROD1 and found Sucess in SRM R3AM1.
Errors :
1. Material Replication Error in SMW01
Mat. for Initial Download: Table not supported by function
Alternative units of measure are inconsistent; correct the values COM_PRODUCT_UNIT COMM_PR_UNIT

Material replication from ECC to SRM

Dear SRM 7.0 Experts,
We are implementimg SRM 7.0 and we are trying to execute the Initial Load of materials into SRM 7 from ECC. We have completed all the Middleware settings and all the customising required for material replication. Whe we run the initial load (tcode R3AS) and select the first object DNL_CUST_BASIS3, it runs but the status remains "Running" in R3AM1. There is no errors in SMQ1as the entry runs and completes and therefore disappears. There is no errors recorded in SMW0 or SLG1 either. What could be the problem?
I checked in SMQ1 & SMQ2 as well, but there is no entries here for the object DNL_CUST_BASIS3. what we can do to resolve the issue ?

Have you checked the outbound queue in backend R/3 system ?
Have you defined the additional user in CRMCONSUM table apart from the CRM user?
Verify and, if necessary, change or insert entries in tables CRMCONSUM and CRMRFCPAR as
described in SAP Note 430980. See also SAP Note 720819.

Problem loading material master (IS Mill) data from ECC to BI

Hi Gurus,
We have a problem loading Material master data from ECC to BI 7.0 SP 18.
The scenario is :
The ECC is with IS Mill... due to which the Material field MATNR is of length 40 instead of standard 18 characters.
That is data element MATNR has 18 chars and its output length is 40 chars.
When is table MARA browsed using SE16, the material with more than 18 chars.... shows only first 18 characters and are ended with !.
OMSL setting shows length as 40.
When the extractor checker runs 0MATERIAL_TEXT or 0MATERIAL_ATTR it gives correct output ..... which is more than 18 characters... not ended with !
Till here no problem.
On BI side, after replication of the datasource, i checked data element MATNR ... but it has length as 18 chars and output length as 18 chars.
OMSL setting cannot be set more than 18.
Infopackage has pulled data till PSA successfully. I checked the PSA data .... here to the material with more than 18 chars is ended with !.
When the data is further pushed to 0MATERIAL infoobject, it throws following error for all materials irrespetive of its length (example below):
0MATERIAL : Data record 768 ('SIT_PL_B01L_10_01!E '): Version 'SIT_PL_B01L_10_01! ' is not valid
0MATERIAL : Data record 165 ('RLIRS52 E '): Version 'RLIRS52 ' is not valid
Diagnosis
Data record 768 & with the key 'SIT_PL_B01L_10_01!E &' is invalid in value 'SIT_PL_B01L_10_01! &' of the attribute/characteristic 0MATERIAL.
System Response
The system has recognized that the value mentioned above is invalid, and has processed this general error message. A subsequent message may give you more information on the error. This message refers to the same value, even though it does not state this explicitly.
I did search for SAP note related to this... but could not find any.
There is one SAP note (Note 960868) which mentions about this, but the correction was then shipped with BI SP 9.... we are running on SP 18.

follow bellow steps:
1. you need to activate the Datasouce in BI side.
Goto RSA1> Datasource> Select Datasource> Double click> Check fileds and Activate.
2. Replicate the Datasource into BI side.
3. Check the RFC connections by useing SM59.

I checked SMQ1 and SMQ2 in SRM and in my backend and those table are empty.
I set a filter and launch my material replication, but it still running for long long time. it is not normal and i don't know why...can you help me?

Overwriting Conditions data during Material Replication from R/3 to SRM.

Hi,
 When creating a new info record and then running the material replication program everything looks OK. However, if for the same material you create a new info record or change the existing info record and then run the material replication, some of the previous data is removed.
 We implemented BADI(PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2) to read info records from R/3. When i debug BADI all the info record and condition info is populated. Once the control leaves the BADI standard SAP code is not inserting/updating delta condition records. It is only populating latest info record.
 SRM 4.0
 Support pack level : 11
 BADI Name: PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2
 Method Name: MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIAL
 Conditions Populated in structure : COMT_PROD_SERVICE_BDOC- CONDITIONS-CND_BBP_WORKING_SET.

Do you use IPC for pricing? I am not sure whether you can use R/3 4.6C with SRM5.5. Check your systems. Refer SAP notes 539720 if you are using simplified pricing (Classic scenario).
Also check for SAP OSS Notes - 394975 and 420343
Update of price in srm is possible through the SAP OSS Note 420343. This note describes an option to transfer a price from the Backend via a report and a BADI and to store this price in the condition table of the corresponding product in the EBP. But you have to do small changes,i think this note will certainly helps you to transfer material master prices to srm product master automatically.

*Use This Bapi :BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEREPLICA and pass values as mentioned below.*
Use this method to create new material master data or change existing material master data. Every time this method is called, data for one or more materials can be transferred.
When new material master data is created, the material number, the material type and the sector must be sent to the method. Furthermore, a short text and the language in which the short text has been created, have to be entered. When data is being changed, only the material number need be entered.
In the header data, at least one view has to be selected for which the data is to be created. Depending on the selected view, additional mandatory parameters that have been defined as such in Customizing have to be created. If not all mandatory fields are field with data, the method ends with an error message being displayed.
First, the appropriate fields in the tables (for example, CLIENTDATA) have to be filled with data by the user. These fields must also be flagged as the method data can only be written to the database if this is the case. The user must also provide data for the appropriate fields that have been selected in a checkbox table (for example, CLIENTDATAX). Checkbox tables exist for tables that do not contain language-dependent texts (MAKT, MLTX), European article numbers (MEAN) and tax classifications (MLAN). More than one data record can be created for a material in these tables (for all materials transferred to the method).
If a structure contains fields for a unit of measure (for example, structure CLIENTDATA, field BASE_UOM), language indicator (for example, structure MATERIALDESCRIPTION, field LANGU) or country identifier (for example, structure TAXCLASSIFICATIONS, field DEPCOUNTRY) then a similarly-named field ending with _ISO also exists. In doing so, the user has the option of using the internal SAP code or the ISO code for units of measure, language indicators or country identifiers. ISO codes are converted into an SAP code for further processing. The ISO code is only used if the SAP code is not displayed. In Customizing under "General Settings", a clear assignment has to be made between the ISO codes and the SAP codes for the following activities, if you want to use ISO codes:
If a structure contains fields for units of measurement (such as structure CLIENTDATA, field BASE_UOM), language indicators (such as structure MATERIALDESCRIPTION, field LANGU), or country indicators (such as structure TAXCLASSIFICATIONS, field DEPCOUNTRY), there is always a field of the same name with the ending _ISO. ISO codes are converted to an SAP code internally for further processing. The ISO code is used only if the SAP code is not transferred. These characteristics are detailed in the documentation for parameters MATERIALLONGTEXT and EXTENSIONIN.

Problem in material superstation when A material is get supersicate by material in that case all manual conduction is not coming for eg if I create sales order by a A material system will supercirtate that material to B material and I will add some manual conduction discount and tax save it later I want to change that quantity of that sales order from 1 quantity to 4 quantity in that case my manual conduction is not coming in sales order

Material replication with LSMW and R3AC1

Hi experts.
I'm using SRM 5.0 trying import the materiais from backend R3.
I'm doing material replication using LSMW with batch-input of R3AC1, however after I mapping R3AC1 the transaction behaves diference way. Using other screens weren't mapping.
Anybody Knows how I can change de Batch-input mapping ? Or other way to make this replication?

any special reason for using LSMW?
there is readymade CRM middleware available in SRM which acts as interface to get the cust objects(matl grps) & business objects(matl /service masters)
but you need to make some table settings & site settings for this
filtering can be done for matl/service in R3AC1

Why we need CRM middleware for material replication from ECC to SRM when we can do the vendor replication from ECC to SRM with ABAP report? IS there any technical limitation?

Vendors and locations, for example, you can replicate from ECC to SRM using ABAP reports.
However, if you want to replicate the following information, you should use the middleware:
- DNL-CUST-BASIS3 - Basis CRM online
- DNL-CUST-PROD0 - Material number conversions
- DNL-CUST-PROD1 - Product : categories
- DNL_CUST_SRVMAS - Customizing: Service Master
- MATERIAL - R/3 Material Master
- SERVICE_MASTER - R/3 Service Master
