Problem in ME55 in SAP ECC 6.0

Dear All,
I am facing a problem in ME55. If I specify the Purchase requisition no in ME55, then Release can be possible for 1st Release Code. But when I remove Purchase Requisition no from ME55, then system shows "No Record found" for same release code. Any explaination for this.

1. check your variant settings
2. check whether that PR has been already released by the release code for which you want to process.
pl go to ME54N and check rightnow status of PR for release.

IDoc via RFC problem between certified app and SAP ECC 5.0 on AS/400

Greetings.
I'm not sure this is the best forum for this question but here it goes:
Ever since 2000, we have our certified application for HR-PDC interface. We never had any problem that would be hard to resolve.
Recently, we had a customer who installed our app to exchange data with SAP ECC 5.0 on an AS/400 machine (first time interfacing with this platform for us).
We already checked all user permissions and every SAP note that mentioned this problem but it still doesn't work: when receiving and IDoc (just any), we get the error IDOCTYPE_READ_COMPLETE:OBJECT_UNKNOWN.
Permissions for user are SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW and the IDocs used are the ones stated in the HR-PDC interface (for example, HRCC1DNPERSON, for instance).
I traced down the problem by examining the .trc files (RFC trace files) and I found where the problem lies: IDOCTYPE_READ_COMPLETE is being passed the IDoc Basic Type HRCC1DNPERSON and it should be HRCC1DNPERSON01. I did the same tracing for another installation (not AS/400 with SAP 4.6) and everything goes fine: IDOCTYPE_READ_COMPLETE is called with correct HRCC1DNPERSON01.
I'm wondering if this could be a problem in SAP 5.0 for AS/400 as we already have other customers running the same version on different platforms and everything just goes fine.
Any clues, anyone?

we have a similary problem with our certified as400 application. Our client has the version 4.6C service pack 51 and patch 2161. Data transfert by RFC is ok but we have problems since the installation of the patch 2252. The RFC function RFCaccept do not run any more : the log

Security Parameter Problem in SAP ECC 6.0

Hi eveyone,
We have just activated the profile parameters written below in our new
SAP ECC 6.0 system.
login/min_password_lng = 6
login/min_password_digits = 1
login/min_password_letters = 1
login/fails_to_user_lock = 10
login/fails_to_session_end = 5
login/password_expiration_time = 90
We have tried to logon the system as DDIC, the system wanted a new
password. We have changed the password many times more than 5 times.
But when we try to give the old password, it still says that "The
password must be different from your last 5 passwords".
The problem goes on, even you inactivate the parameters in the profile
and restart the SAP.
How can we solve this problem?

I want active the profile parameter login/min_password_digits = 1 and
login/min_password_letters = 1 by RZ10. The system give the message:
E login/min_password_digits is not identified identically on all servers.
I changed this parameter on all servers but this message was always there.
Is it OK after restart system?

SAP ECC 6.0 language problem

Hello!
I have installed SAP ECC 6.0 UNICODE system, i had english and german languages as default, an i supplemented Romanian in client 000, before the client copy. I implemented all notes regarding the localization, but whenever i logon on the system in Romanian, it's processing very very slow. For example, only to logon it takes me about 1 hour. Usual transactions, like "me21n" is initializing in about 15 minutes and so on. What can i do?

I executed the report but unfortunately the problem persists. If i logon in other languages it works, but if i tried the language that i supplemented in 000 client (in my case Romanian), it takes me about 1 hour only to log on my system.

Problem with Sproxy transaction in SAP ECC 6.0

I executed SPROXY transaction in SAP ECC 6.0 system, some objects of XI/PI repository are listed, some are not listed.
Why?
How can i achieve to be listed all XI/PI objects?

Objects are listed belonging to the Software component ECC 6.0 only as you are viewing from ECC server ( makes sense?)
This link exist in SLD where Product and software components are listed.
Now if you have created a third party software component ABC and wants the objects from here also to be listed in ECC then you can go to ECC in SLD and make the Software component ECC 6.0 dependent on ABC.

SAP (ECC 6.0) - Erro de rejeição (Engrenagem)

Boa tarde a todos,
Gostaria de compartilhar um cenário de erro ocorrido no ambiente de produção do cliente (pós-GoLive) onde implementamos recentemente Nota Fiscal Eletrônica.
Para um determinado cenário enviado para SEFAZ/SP foi retornado o código de erro 210 (Rejection: Invalid Receiver's IE), esta mensagem foi devidamente atualizada no GRC e no SAP (ECC).
O problema ocorreu justamente quando o usuário optou em ajustar o código de inscrição estadual do respectivo cliente deste cenário e logo após, selecionou o documento "rejeitado" através do monitor do SAP (J1BNFE) e executou a função "Enviar de Novo", a partir deste procedimento (incorreto), o monitor retornou uma sinalização de erro (bandeira vermelha) com a seguinte mensagem: "Enviada ao sistema de envios de mensagens (XI,....), sinalizou o campo status ação com uma "engrenagem", o campo SCS com o valor 0 "zero" e o campo Status Sist. Msgs. com o valor "G" (MS recebido; outro erro).
Conclusão, este processo encontra-se travado no ambiente de produção do cliente, impossibilitando qualquer ação de inutilização ou cancelamento.
Estamos cientes que o procedimento correto deveria ser: solicitar a inutilização deste documento e não enviá-lo novamente a SEFAZ/SP, após concluída a correção da inscrição estadual do respectivo cliente, no entanto, gostaríamos de obter alguma dica ou orientação de como proceder corretamente neste caso afim de corrigir este problema.
Desde já agradeço pela ajuda e gostaria também de parabenizar pelo espaço onde pude verificar que há muita informação útil para todos.

Sim, o MSSTAT estava preenchido com "A" antes da tentativa de reenvio. Como a nota já havia sido rejeita pela SEFAZ/SP no nosso entendimento o usuário deveria:
1) Requisitar a "inutilização" desta NF-e;
2) Ajustar a IE no cadastro de cliente;
3) Executar novo faturamento para este cenário que automaticamente iria gerar uma nova NF-e para nova aprovação na SEFAZ/SP, seria este o procedimento?
Ao executar Send no menu NF-e apresenta-se a seguinte mensagem:
Novo status de comunicação de sistema "Enviada a sistema de envio de mensagens (XI,...)" não permitido p/SCS "Enviada a sistema de envio de mensagens (XI,...)" anterior
Nº mensagem J1B_NFE007
Vou conversar com usuário sobre a possibilidade de introduzir o status de erro manualmente (SE37).

Hello Manisha,
The one of the possible reasons for this is due to lack of H/W.
Increase your RAM size to atleast 2GB and utilise the same while you are installing ECC in database parameters step..
If the issue is with H/W, then this should fix the issue.

Loading of transaction data from SAP ECC system failed

I successfully connected SAP ECC system to SAP BI system.
The following steps have been executed:
- user ALEREMOTE with max. authorization
- RFC destination
- Distributing Data model
- Generated Partner profile
- Maintaining message types in WE20
Now when I try to load any data from SAP ECC system the loading process in hanging in status "yellow" and never comletes.

Via BD87 on BW system I detect that all the IDOC's (type: RSRQST) will be received from SAP ECC system.
Via tcode SM58 I could not detect any entries.
However the loading status from yesterday is set to "red".
The errors are:
Extraction (messages): Missing messages
Data Package 1 : arrived in BW ; Processing : 2nd processing step not yet finished
Info IDoc 1 : sent, not arrived ; Data passed to port OK
Info IDoc 2 : sent, not arrived ; Data passed to port OK

No Connection btw JCAPS 5.1.2 and SAP ECC 6.0 whle creatining SAP/Bapi OTD

We have the following problem trying to build SAP BAPI/RFC OTD.
1) JCAPS 5.1.2. SAP ECC 6.0. Jco version 2.1.7 (also tried 2.1.8, 2.0.12 with the same result). All steps were done according to SAP BAPI/ALE eWays user guides and readmes
2) SAP client already installed and worked ok on the same host as the JCAPS
3) It looks like the problem is in JCo. It seems like doesn't react when we trying to connect to SAP during creation of BAPI/RFC OTDs at design time.
Error message: partner not reached
ERRNO 10060
All ports are open and no restrictions imposed on JCAPS server. There are no connection log entries on SAP router host.
4)We tried to run sample Project which goes with eway, and the following entries in logical host log file were found:

I guess you are placed and set all jars relates to bapi/rfc.
You need to pass atleast one parameter from jcd which will initiates the BAPI connection.
i.e atleast from jcd you need to send a request.

Error while upgrading SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 to SAP ECC 5.0

Dear SAP,
We are on the process of upgrading SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 with Ext:110 to SAP ECC 5.0.But during the VERSCHK_INI phase an error is been thrown showing that
"The start release configuration :
SAP_ABA :620
SAP_APPL :470
SAP_BASIS :620
SAP_HR:470.....is not supported "
At this stage we decided to continue with this by ignoring the VERSCHK_INI phase,but it gave us a warning that to continue with the next phase(TOOLVERSIOn_INI phase) we require a password.
we searched in several documents even in the documents along with the cd but was not able to find a password for this or a solution for the error in phase VERSCHK_INI.
I request team SAP to help us in this regard.Expecting your reply ASAP.

Messages getting scheduled in SAP ECC Box:Messages getting stuck in Inbound

The scenario is -
JDBC Sender-->> SAP PI-->> ECC Server(via ABAP proxy)
The Interface is running properly in SAP PI & then the messages are getting posted to the Inbound queues in SAP ECC Box. Generally it takes few seconds for the messages to get processed, but now all are getting scheduled in the Inbound queues(in different channels as seen in SMQ2)
We re-ran the interfaces again a few times, but all of them kept getting scheduled. Finally, after 2 hours one of the messages got processed. I suppose we won't face any problem now onwards.
Though I can see several suggestions like registering the queues & assigning dedicated queues to the interface, none of the blog suggest the probable cause of the event?
Can this be due to some issue in the server(heavy pressure of data in the server during the period/issue in the queues??)

What method you have configured for output device.
There should be any issue if you add spool work process to Application server.
Then you should be able to configure spool server load balancing. (Search on help.sap.com for spool load balancing)

Extracting Values of a Field from a Database Table in SAP ECC System

senario from sdn. I'm trying to do that senario in MII 12.05. But I have problem with section 6 in page 7 (you can supply senario from sdn)
"6- Under the loop of Repeater, use action u2018Rowu2019 to append just the string part of the WA which will display only values for field u2018Batchu2019"
I did not find WA elemen in Output element of Repeater_0
How can I create WA element?

Set up a SAP JCo Interface action block. Use the RFC name RFC_READ_TABLE.
In the link editor map the table to "MARA", set RowCount to something small (20 is good sample size) and create an xml transaction property named FIELDS and copy the following into it:

Then link the Transaction.FIELDS to SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/TABLES/FIELDS}. You may run into problems with two other fields and optionally they can be removed (set link type to remove xml). I usually remove them initially for testing. The two fields are:
SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/INPUT/NO_DATA}
SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/INPUT/DELIMITER} (or you can set this to something like a semicolon,";" or tilda,"~". I find it easier to caclulate position by length, but that is my own idiosyncrasy.)
Once you get this one working, we can explore how to do filtering on the dataset. Your output should be something like this:

Link your repeater output to a tracer with this:

What you will see in each tracer message is a single line of data with all the fields contents concatenated together. You can look up what each field in the string represents by the length of the field as returned in the Response segment of the RFC_READ_TABLE rfc. Then you can parse out the data you are interested in.
Give this a try and let me know how you succeeded.

Transfer of data from SAP ECC 6.0 to E-Recruitment

Hi,
We are implementing E-recruitment . SAP ECC and E-Recruitment are running in different servers.How to transfer data from following Infotypes from SAP ECC 6.0 to E-Recruitment .
IT0002 Personal Data to 5102 Candidate Information
IT0006 Address Data to 5110 Address Rule
IT0105 Communication Data to 5110 Address Rule
IT0022 - Education to 5104 - Education
IT0023 Others/Previous Employers to 5103 - Work Experience
IT0024 - Qualifications to 5105 - Qualifications

Hello,
in general IT5103, 5104 and 5105 are not part of the standard distribution model. Without special customer own ALE development you will not be able to transfer these information.
Check SLG1 - application log for entries.
did you the initial data upload or did you only transfer changes?
If you did the initial data transfer be sure the user running the IDOC import has the correct rights. Be sure noone changed the usage of IT0000 STAT2 as e-recruiting expects value 3 for active employees. Furthermore be sure to be informed about the handling of hirings in future.
If you only wanted to transfer updates. PFAL is not the right way. Be sure you activated the change pointers correctly. Use RBDMIDOC. And be sure to implemet the latest Notes. There had been an error that changes were only processed in e-recruiting if at least IT0000, 0001 and 0002 were changed which resulted in problems when only IT 0006 was updated. In this case the update was not transfered to e-recruiting.

Error in PHASE PREP_EXTRACT/PREIMP: Upgrade SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0 EHP4

I'm currently in upgrading a SAP R/3 4.7 system to a SAP ECC 6.0 EHP4.
Therefore I followed the Upgrade Guide from marketplace - installation- and upgrade guides - SAP ERP - SAP ERP 6.0 - SAP Enhancement Package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 - Upgrade Guide SAP ERP including EHP4 SR1 - Unix on MaxDB.
I downloaded media from marketplace/swdc - Installations and Upgrades - SAP Application Components - SAP ERP - SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE - EHP4 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 / NW7.01 - Upgrade.
I'm starting upgrade with upgrade master DVD 51036889_1 and      51036889_2.
Now upgrade breaks down in phase PREP_EXTRACT/PREIMP with error:
Severe error(s) occured in phase PREP_EXTRACT/PREIMP!
Last error code set: Single errors (code <= 8) found in logfile 'PREIMP.ELG'
PREIMP.ELG says:

Hello,
I run 'R3trans -x' command, but there was no problem - connection to database was working.
Problem was following:
Before starting the sdt service on host, I set environment variables JAVA_HOME and LD_LIBRARY_PATH for sidadm. That's not neccessary and that was the problem. Without setting these variables it is working now.

Migration of Smartforms / SAPScript forms from SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0

Dear Members,
We are in process of re-implementing SAP with SAP ECC 6.0 from SAP R/3 version 4.7
We have created many layouts using SAPScripts & SAP Smartforms in SAP R/3.
My question is, are there any migration tools available in SAP ECC 6.0 in the form of function modules, BAPI etc to convert existing forms of Smartforms / SAPScripts created in SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0 ?
Or do we have to design all existing forms created in R/3 once agin in SAP ECC 6.0 ?
We request our dear members to share their views on the above mentioned problems faced by us in the re-implementation project

Dear Friend,
As per our consultant's view, we are not upgrading from SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC. We are re-implementing; that is, we are going to implement SAP ECC as if we are doing it for the first time ever in our company. This is due to drastic organizational changes happend in our company. So, upgrading from R/3 is not feasible solution, according to our consultants.
So, we have to re-configure all settings in SPRO manually in ECC based on our new business scenario. There will be new company codes, plants, business area etc., which will be totally different from existing R/3 system.
But the template definitions of the existing forms maintained in SAPScript / Smartforms will remain same.
There are 50+ forms (boith SAPScript / Smartforms put together) and manual re-designing of all those forms will be tedious within the scheduled date of GO Live.
In that case, to avoid re-designing, what is the best method that can prevent manual re-design of Smartforms?
For SAPscripts, I got some good news from our some of our dear forum members.
