Problem in opening new year in AJRW

Hello Sap Guru,
I have executed depreciation run for two year - 2009 & 2010. For 2009, i executed depreciaton run on monthly basisi & for 2010 on yearly basis.
Now when i m going for year 2011, i am not able to open new year 2011 in t.cdoe AJRW while i have closed old year 2010 in AJAB & has also done balance carry forwrd in t.code F.16 & F.07.
Its giving me error" target fiscal year specifications 2011 wrong for co.code"

You have requested a fiscal year change for the year 2011.
In company code 0409, this is not the fiscal year which directly follows the current, or just completed, fiscal year.
System Response
Company code 0409 will not be processed.
Procedure
Correct your entry.
Please suggest what to do.

Hi deepak,
The process is, you need to do first asset fiscal year change then asset year end closing., so execute the steps accordingly and also check in the safer side the TABA table, it contains the posted dep. figures periodwise.

I think system is confused due to the fact, that you are closing year, which is beyond the current calendar year.

Problem in opening new tab

Problem in opening Mozila firefox tab. when we open mozila firefox blank page open and when we open next tab, the new tab open with "search.babylon.com/?affID=112060&tt=321… i have tried lot to stop this automatically open search of babylon but not done. and the same problem occurs in IE 8 also but there is option in internet option tab when a new tab is open, open a blank tab. this ie8 problem solved, so please suggest what to do, thanks in advance waiting for your reply

hello namihir, you can either install the [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/ search reset] addon which will fix this or you can manually change the new tab page by entering '''about:config''' into the firefox location bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up), searching for the preference named '''browser.newtab.url''' and right-clicking & resetting it to its default value ('''about:newtab''').

You can use the getURL to call a JS function.
Just like

But the best is to use ExternalInterface, in Flash 8.

Problem with opening new tab, 4 rc

hi,
my "open new tab" button disappears form tab bar. (its there when i am in "customize..." mode).
also, when there is no menu bar. double click on tab bar does not open a new tab either but it minimizes the window.
so there is no short way to open a new tab.
is this a bug? or can i change something to fix this?

Enabling the Bookmarks toolbar didn't work for me. But enabling the Menu bar did.

Regarding problem in posting date after opening new year

I have just opened the new fiscal year thrugh OB52 and also made a new number range by copying the previuos year number range thrugh OBH2.
Now when i m posting the entries for G/l, Customer & vendors, everything is going fine but vendor entry is not posting thrugh fb 60 and error is coming that (Posting date < Entry date) and when i m taking the help the following msg is appearing Message no. /SAPDMC/LSMW_OBJ_080237.
Please provide help to the above issue. It is urgent.

Yes I h ave check that the number range is copied for 2008 & also the posting period is opened for 2008 for vendors.
Also i have posted few entries using t-codes FB50, FB70 & also FB60.
Only in case of FB60 the entry is posted for 1st April 2008 but not for 2nd April & onwards.
Please let me know what u meant by last line i.e entry date as posting date. What i have done is that i have try to do the entry by using the same invoice date & posting date i.e 2nd April, 2008. But still the same error is coming.
Please help to reslove the issue.

Problem with opening new tabs, when I right-click on a link and open in new tab it doesn't automatically load up like firefox 3.6 always did. Is there anyway to fix this?

for example there's a link a friend sent me in my e-mail and I right-click on it, and select "Open in a new tab" it pops open like normal, except it does not load the page, I have to click the box and press enter to even get it to load it. In previous versions I have never had that problem, current version of Mozilla Firefox I am using is version 4, previous was 3.6 hope this helps figure this out.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Strange problem when opening new message.

I have a rather annoying problem when I open a newly received SMS from a particular contact (lets call him Bill).
When I open the new message from Bill, either by swiping to unlock or touching a banner message at the top of the screen. Instead to being shown the message itself, I will automatically be taken to the 'start new message' screen with none of our message history (i.e. as if I am starting to type an entirely new message to Bill)
I can then cancel this and return to myself and Bill's normal message stream.
Any ideas how to get around this annoyance? Thank you.

I think you have 2 ways to go here. Figure out what html is from wherever weblogic gets it, meaning you have to delve into the docs, snoop
around in directories and find what it must be sending (This is going to be unavoidable if you are going to change what weblogic is doing.
Sooner or later you have to try to figure out where it gets this stuff from)
or
you can experimentally snoop on your url with a tool like wget or curl. These are fundamental web tools.
The latter is always a useful thing to be able to do. (you need to formulate a query to get the content-type).
Whoever managed to get weblogic to serve any files in the first place probably can figure this out.

Problem with opening new window

Hi All,
I am facing peculiar problem in my page.
I have two pages, one is having a custom search RN and a table RN below of it and another is a details page.
Table RN is having one check box and any open button for each row and after clicking on open it is opening one details page in new window.
Now, suppose I check one row and then click on the open button,it is opening details page, then after closing the details page window, if unchecked that row or check any other row, it is refreshing the table RN, means number of rows is increasing, some rendered fields are not working. But if I use some different link, like Google instead of my details page link, it is working fine.
I have used Destination URI and Target Frame for that open button.
I have not used any session variable in both the pages.
If I use Google link, after clicking on open button, it is not calling processRequest, but if I use my details page link, after clicking on open button, it is calling processRequest when I close the details page and check or unchecked the box.

Its refreshing the table because in processRequest you might be executing the VO.
If you do not want processRequest to be again, you can set some session variable and check its value in processRequest to bypass the execution.

NWBC 1 - Problem with open new windows

Hi guys,
i use NWBC-Version: 10000.1.14.817 and have the follwing problem.
When i start a new window from an apllication (example show documents) than the new window opens in a separte small window.
Why can i get the new window as a part of the naviagtion menu (on the horizontal position in the canvas) or the size of the new separate window more bigger?

According to my experience, the problem like store game app open failed probably caused by hardware driver. such as Audio and Graphic driver. So, first of all, please try to reinstall these two driver to fix this problem for test.
In addition, for SFC scan failed problem, it can be caused by many reasons, I would suggest you use another command to fix your system for test.
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Also you can test SFC command in Windows 8.1 safe mode.
Thirdly, if problem persists, please check Event Viewer, generally speaking, it would record the app open failed events.

Problem in opening new window through OBN call

Hi,
I have embedded a POWL application in my source i-view which triggers an OBN operation in the "handle_action" method of the POWL.
However, my target i-view which has registered successfully to my business object's operation does not open up in a new window (niether is the current i-view is getting replaced).
I have taken care to associate both source and target i-views with the same role.
Is there any possibility of OBN not working in a specific version of enterprise portal? Also, how do i check which version i am using?

PS: I just append my BO name and operation name to e_portal_actions in the handle_action method. does this take care of "firing" the operation too?

Just check the if the BO operation is passing the necessary parameters like APPLID etc. You also check if your portal itself supports Object based navifation.
Try it out under the system admin tab --> ...
