Problem in PA30 Infotype 34 Corporate Function

Hi,
While creating the corporate function IT0034 in transaction PA30, in which table the Long text will be saved. How to retrieve it.

READ_TEXT can be used not only for PO but for other long text also.
To know the long text OBJID, OBJNAME.
In Transaction PA30, open the long text screen...and in one of the menu item you can find the 'Header' item. click on this . here you may get the required details

Time Constraint on Corporate Function Infortype

Hi everyone,
If it's possible, I'd like to know how to configure the time constraint of Corporate Function infotype.
The Time Constraint settings are incorrect for Infotype 0034 (Corporate Function). There must be only one valid record existing/active, and it should not permit gaps either.
For Example, a record is existing from 01.10.2010 to 31.12.9999. So when the user creates a new record from 01.11.2011 to 31.12.9999, the previous record should automatically be delimited (end date of 31.12.2010) when the record is saved.
If ithis is not possible, I'd like to know why.

Go to the table v_T582a and check what is the Time constraint is define there. I trust by default it should be T. But would like to know which is the record you want to maintain here, because there are many subtype in infotype 0034. And as per the standared function of this infotype T is the right time constraint.

Problem with PA30 event LIS1

Hi all,
I have a problem with PA30, I have three kind of subtyes, AS, CO, DI for a Z infotype, but I have a requirement, when I push the mountain(LIS1) list style for all subtypes, don't see the AS type, because the user does`'t need and is confused for him, but he need to see the 'AS' when he puts the subtype in the field of pa30, because he needs to create and delete it in some case, just when he push the LIS1 don't see it,
so the question is, is any way to do this ? I've been seeing by user exit and badis but the P9105 is a structure, so i can't get al the table to delete teh 'AS' or maybe have another name, or some place where it fill the table that display.
Some suggestions??

User exit for salary calcuation through PA30 infotype 8

Hello gurus,
I want user exit which will trigger in PA30 when we put infotype 8 for a particular employee in display or change mode.
In PBAS package i have found the exit PARA0002. In this i have 3 components. I put the hardcoded break-poin in these function modules. But when i go to PA30 infotype 8 in change or display mode. The break-point is not triggered.. or control doesn't go to that point. In CMOD i created the project and activated. But still the break-point can't be reached. What else can be done or any other exit?

Hi yayati,
For infotype 8 salary (or in fact for any other PA infotype) we can use the enhancment PBAS0001.
It has two components/FM. One for PBO i.e. for defaulting values on screen and other for PAI i.e. for checking values before saving.

Pa30 infotyp 24: Note entry for qualification

Hello everybody
When you get into pa30 --> infotype 24 'Qualification'.
You have the property to write for each qualification additional information into 'Note'.
So, that's great, but where is this note saved?
I have to get the field 'note' for a report. But I have no idea, in which table this information is saved in.
Can anybody help me?

Hi,
Use function READ_TEXT to get back the text.
If you set a break-point in function SAVE_TEXT you will be able to see what parameters you need to provide to the function READ_TEXT to retrieve the note.
The function SAVE_TEXT is called when you enter a note.
For information the table is STXH as it is with any other texts/notes etc...

IT 34 corp functions, the field Corporate Function (FUNKT)is a required field, trying to make it optional or hide, but system saying in the both cases --
Entry E 0034 does not exist in T591S (check entry)
I want that field either an optional field, or to hide what to do

Hi Kiran,
This is because FUNKT field is the subtype field for IT0034 and no blank subtype is defined for the infotype.
Please go to SM30 - V_T591A - for infotype 0034 create a blank valued subtype. (subtype field should be blank)
Then your issue will be resolved.

even after execution of COHV the status of Orders remains unchanged.i.e. remain Created instead of Release
My user require all Orders should release in mass process
with material availability Check .

With these two settings in OPJK, there will not be any impact on COHV.
Any dates, date ranges you are inputing in the COHV.
Try with Manually inputing some of the Orders in COHV and in the Foreground you try.
Afterwards, try with Some selected Orders in the Background..
You may get the clue for the problem..

database (basically from one table), I take data to make report. Each of record
have appropriate fields:

want to realized comparison data from two or more periods of time on one chart
and in one table. For easily explanation I will describe problem on two
periods.For instance, user want to display and compare
on chart date (type monthly -sum data of each month) from 2007.02 u2013 2007.05
with date from 2006.03 u2013 2006.06. So we compare month 2007.02 with 2006.03;
2007.03 with 2006.04; 2007.04 with 2006.05; 2007.05 with 2006.06
On char I would like to display bars with comparison
of months.
Problem is that I donu2019t know how to write
something similar. I can use one period without any problems, but two and mores
I canu2019t realized.
Detail description:
I passed
two parameters two report:
{?from}, {?to} u2013for first period
{?offset}, it means {?from}+{?offset},
{?to}+{?offset} - for second period
On axis Y I have Sum(intDate);On
X (year + month). But on each value x( example 20007.02) I need to have
two values (bars). Value for standard period and offset.
For example for x=2007.02, I need
two bars one equal 2007.02 and second with offset u2013 2006.03
Movement to next value (bar) is
persuade by fields {data.rok}&{data.month} first or second period. This is
combination of two elements year&month defined under Formula. Problem
persist in that both period has different year.month and here problem starts once
again. I donu2019t know how to solve it. I have found out one solution but it
limits user only for two periods (I want to compare more).
My idea for compare only two
periods:
I make one query in CR for one
period and second query for second period.
Firs query:
"SELECT
       year ,
      month
Second query
"SELECT
       year + FLOOR({month + offset} % 13),
      {month + offset} % 13
Then in CR I connect two periods and
make u201Ctableu201D (results of queries) with JOIN on fields year and month.
This solution is not functional,
because I need to make reports for days and hours as well. In this solution I
canu2019t use (%31), because not all months has 31 days.
I use CR in WEB app made in Visual
Studio 2005. Maybe from aspx we can manipulate with date to get exact solution,
and solve problem with SELECT.

I have had similar problem before.
Because I had too many data, the legend would not display all the data. Also the chart would not display all the data. But I was able to find a work around.
In your case, Right click on the Legend text and click on Format Legend Entry.
Change the font of the legend to 4 (which is the minimum). This may work.
If you are also having problem with data labels, you could change the font size of the data labels.

Hi,
You can define your own PF-STATUS and in that assign the function code for BACK button anything except 'BACK'.
The code would somewhat look like this:
SET PF-STATUS 'TEST'.
write : itab-col1,
itab-col2.
in the PF-STATUS 'TEST', assign the function code to BACK button as 'BCK'.
Now in your program you can use the event AT USER-COMMAND.
In this you can handle the functionality of BACK button.
