Problem in Partial delivery BOM - items not copied in subsequent delivery

Hi,
We are using BOM in Sales order and we have activated delivery group for the BOM header item category.
When we create first delivery we change the BOM header item quantity in delivey ( all the components quantity change accordingly) and save the delivery.
Now when we try to create second delivery with reference to the same delivery for the left out qunatity in sales order, system is not copying the components of BOM items ( it is only copying BOM header) from sales order to delivery.
Please let us know how can we create subsequent delivery with reference to the same sales order and delivery should get all the BOM items from SO to delivery.

Hi,
We already set the delivery group to A, and still having the same result. We change the BOM header quantity only and automatically the component quantity is updated.
This happens only if there are two header BOM in the Sales Order. See example below:
Bom Header 1 = 100
Bom Component 1a - 80 (partial delivered)
Bom Component 1b - 20 (partial delivered)
Bom Header 2 = 200
Bom Component 2a - 150
Bom Component 2b - 50
When creating outbound delivery, initially all the materials are copied to the outbound document. If we want to delivery only Bom Header 2, then we will delete the Bom Header 1 line item.
Upon deletion, the status of the component becomes fully delivered in the SO, but the Bom header is still partial delivered.
Please confirm how to correct this.
**If there is only one BOM Item in the order, then partial delivery is ok..

Header Item of Sales BOM is not copied into second delivery

Hi Gurus
I have an issue to be solved immediately. Please help me to fix this.
I have a Sales BOM in order with components exploded (The Header Item has 5 Components). The pricing is maintained at header level. The order is created with a quantity of 5.
Schedule lines in the order show that quantity of 3 is available immediately and another 2 are available in another one week.
Due to availability of material/confirmed quantity, first outbound delivery is created (VL01N) with reference to the order for a quantity of 3. In the delivery, Picking & PGI was done for this delivery.
My issue is: When I go to create the second outbound delivery with reference to the above same order, for the remaining quantity of 2, I can see 5 components displayed, BUT NOT THE HEADER ITEM IN THE DELIVERY. My client wants to see the header item as well in the delivery as it is sent to freight carrier.
Please guide me to fix this.

But you have already delivered the header item Let's say your header item is number 10 and your increment is 10. Create item 11 with the header material and delete the exploded BOM. Now you have a new header item to deliver with the remaining 2 pieces of your BOM materials.

ITEM not copied further to Delivery & Billing

Hello Gurus,
Here when i create SO>DO>BILL, the material has BOM explosion in SO.Here i am partially delivering the Material,so when i create DO for 1st partial qty ,it works properly, bt when Deliver the same for remaining qty,its not exploding BOM here,the main item is not copied into delivery .Well both main & sub-item are Delivery related!!
Kindly guide .
Am i missing somthing in Copy control or any setting in Item Cat.Det??

STO Delivery Date is not copy from Allocation Table Site Date

Hi,
I have a problem when Stock Transfer Order created based on the Allocation Table, the delivery date is not copy from Allocation Table. E.g. In Allocation Table delivery date is 26.09.2009, but in STO delivery date is 06.11.2009.
Check the configuration and also check the stock, there is stock available to be delivered on 26.09.2009.
Can someone please give me a hint to find out what is missing or wrong, and how to fixed this?

Delivery Completed checkbox provides a lot of fonctionality like an additional delivery is not expected, but is possible. If you prevent posting of migo , you can benefit from system messages M7 163 and 254.
You want to ensure that the delivery is made before the planned delivery date : Set message 254.
You want to ensure last possible delivery date : Set message 163.
However ;
The open PO quantity of the PO item equals zero.
The PO item is no longer relevant for materials planning.
The PO item is ignored when letters urging delivery of overdue goods are generated.
The PO item can be deleted and archived.
You can specify whether the Delivery Completed checkbox is to be selected automatically.

Partial delivery per items always copy sold to settings

Hello SAP Consultants,
Currently in my clients' business process, there are scenarios where customers (sold to) can have different ship-to parties. Thus, they maintained partial delivery per item specific for ship to party under sales area shipping tab of customer master (XD01).
However, when creating sales orders where sold to party is not equivalent to ship-to party, the partial delivery per item of the material ordered corresponds or is referenced from the sold to party settings and not the ship-to.
How can we make it possible to reflect the ship-to settings of the partial delivery per item to be defaulted when sales order is created? Is there configurations needed?
Please advise.

Standard SAP copies the Partial Del Per Item field values from Sales order - Sold to Party. If you have to change that and read the ship to instead, then you will have to go for enhancement.
Please work with your ABAPER to get it done. Try to work on user exits MOVE_FIELD_TO_ABAP in the program MV45AFZZ.

To stop delivery if one of the BOM items not available. -- how?

I have BOM items
Item Description
10         abc
20         def
30         xyz
Items 10 and 20 are available in a particular date but item 30 is not available. Then save the document.
user does not know items are available or not then they will go VL01N.
There are empty deliveries with out items also but they are saving delivery.
Now they want stop in delivery if there is no items available, the system should not save the document
This is my requirement.
Please let me if you have any queries.Kindly help in this regard by suggesting suitable ideas.

I have a requirement regarding BOM items.
Client requirement is such a way that they have so many BOM items.
Example:
10 monitor
20 CPU
30 key board
When every it deliver these like this they so so many BOM items they use so document types different item categories.
At that time 10and 20 are available 30 is not available. Just they save the document. They will order number another user.
Based on the order number another user will create Delivery it is main 30 item is not available Empties in deliveries (reason is its group delivery.)
But they are able to save the document now they want if in deliveries no item system should not allow save the document.
please through some light on what basis we can stop saving the delivery document

Unable to create delivery for BOM items not in stock??

Hi Experts,
We have created a sales order with Parent item and its 3 BOM items, with pricing doen at BOM items. Of the three BOM items, stock exists for only 1 item. When we are trying to create the delivery, it is bringing only the stock item in delivery overview and not the items without stock. We would like:
1. System to bring all the items while creating delivery. It may not permit picking and PGI till the stock is brought in system.
2. System to not allow creating delivery till stock exists for all the required items.
For the non-stock items, system is not allowing to carry out the availability check also. It can give a future date and confirm the quantity for future delivery!!
Please provide your expert opinions asap. Points would be awarded to all helpful answers.

Hi Peeyoosh,
had you a look at the customizing of your item categories for delivery? Did you use the standard item category TAN? Perhaps the customizing of "availabilty check for delivery item" and "Check quantity 0" in your category for delivery will bring you forward.

Sales order materials (BOM) are not coming to the delivery

created the sales order with BOM materials, in the sales it's showing the all materls (BOM materials) as per our configuration. but when i try to create the delivery it's not showing the all materials in delivery.
maintained item level bom
for material -
A, i have maintined the components A1, A2 & A3 (items), when i created order with material A, its showing the A, A1,A2 & A3 materialsin the order, but when i try to create the delivery its showing only A1 & A2 materials. it not showing in the delivery A3 material.
any locks or blocks for POI?
any one help regarding this issue

Items not copied but computer IS authorised. Help please.

Error message on synch always reads: "some of the items in the itunes library ...were not copied to iphone because you are not authorised fro them on this computer.
I jhave authorised the computer, repeatedly.
Any ideas how to solve this?
All I can think of is that some of the tiems were purchased long ago using a idfferent apple ID where I no longer have all the passwords and cant receive emails anymore.

Open About this Mac from the Apple menu.
Look for the Serial number (I think it can be found by clicking on the Version number twice). If not there, click More Info…
The Serial number will be in the Hardware Overview.
If the Serial number is missing, that may be the problem. However, I don't know how to fix it.

Items Not Copied from I-Tunes

I recently had to send my laptop in to fix a problem with it's power source and now I have it back and something has changed. I am trying to Sync up and buy some more songs and when I plug my I-Pod in it says "Some items in the I-Tunes Library were not copied because you are not authorized to play them on this computer". Nothing has changed and it is only the songs that were purchased. I have done it several times and every time the songs weren't copied. What can I do when I haven't changed anything?

Odds are they changed the logicboard/motherboard of your laptop when they sent it in, meaning iTunes thinks it's a new computer that needs to be authorized. Play one of the songs in iTunes, and you'll get asked for your iTunes Music Store username and password. Enter them. Once the song starts playing, you'll be able to sync your iPod fine and all the songs will be authorized.

ITunes items not copied because they could not be found.

When attempting to synch any iTunes content with my iPhone I receive a message that "Some of the items in the iTunes library were not copied to the iPhone because they could not be found. Actually, none of the iTunes content can be found. My iTunes library is on an external drive and I do not have a problem with synchronization of iPod or AppleTV. I would prefer not to move the library back to my machine, as it will take up too much space. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any thoughts?

Oddly enough it could be a corrupted photo cache that causes this error message. The message may clear up if you delete the "iPod Photo Cache" folder in iPhoto, see this thread for info:

Yes we need to look into VTAF, Tag doc is RA Return w/ Auto Deliv, source is F2 source item cat is TAN target is REN.
Requirement used was 303-include LV45C303 for TAN, DataT1-153-include FV45C153.
PROBLEM IS IN THE SOURCE DOC WE HAVE 2 LINE ITEMS 10,20 BOTH ARE HAVING THE SAME DATA BUT DIFFERENT MATERIALS WITH SAME ITEM CAT TAN. While copying system copying only 10 but for 20 above message gets pop up. I tried to any diff in material master for the both items it looks like similar.
one more for a strnage eye, while copying when i goto selction list if i select 2nd item ( which its not copied earlier) system is taking without any messages.
Only problem is if i dont use any selction list-items.
I got one OSS 145553 related to the same problem but i am very much afraid to use the same, bcz problem is not persistent and its not same everytime..
any ideas pl...

I have 2 queries
1) Have created separate Material Type Packaging for my packing material and the item category group used is VERP, my Orginal Material is getting packed in the Delivery Document, however the packed item is not coming as a separate line item in the Delivery document, I have maintained the item category settings for the Delivery Packing Material and also the packing Material contains stock,
2) The Plant and Storage Location for my handling unit need to get defaulted autmatically in the delivery document what settings should I configure for the same.

2. Try to create SDF/KN based on Return oder, but line item is not copied.
