Problem in Print Out of Excise register RG1

Dear all,
We have a business scenario as follows:
1.Production Order Confirmation-101, 261 for receipt
2. Scrap Receipt-262.
For Scrap Sales:
The entry in RG1 should be Scrap receipt (262) and then despatch of scrap i.e issue(601).
During updation we do the following:
We receive scrap in RG1 register through RMA classification. Then we issue the scrap in RG1 register through IDH Classification. The register also get updated and extracted successfully.
Problem: While printing of RG1 register there is no entry for Receipt (262) and issue(601) of scrap.

Problem in Print Out of ALV report

Dear All..
I am trying to take print out of an ALV report. there are 36 columns in my report. when i try to take print out, warning appears which says system cannot print the last 277 columns of report.
i have tried using different formats for printer like :
Format                  Description
X_PAPER                 ABAP/4 list: Default list formatting
X_SPOOLERR          ABAP list: Spooler problem report
ZX_65_284               65 Rows and 285 Columns
X_65_255                ABAP/4 list: At least 65 rows with a maximum number of c

X_58_170                ABAP/4 list: At least 58 rows by 170 columns

X_90_120                ABAP list: At least 90 rows by 120 columns
X_44_120                ABAP/4 list: At least 44 rows by 120 columns
X_65_80                 ABAP/4 list: At least 65 rows by 80 columns
but every time the same message appears even on A3 size paper..
i am using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY to display ALV.
Please help to to take out prints(can be in condensed mode) so that all columns appear on the print out..

Problem in print out of Dynamic ALV

Hi ,
I am using dynamic ALV to address a requirement. The ALV is working fine and the output is also coming corretly, even in spool.
But if the width of dynamic table exceeds a limit, then nothing is coming in the print out.
If anyone has faced similar problem or knows how to tackle this problem, please advise what can be done here.

Print Out of Excise Invoice

Hi all
I have checked the posts on this issue
My all the out put determination setting of output type J1I0 ok, even in VP01 i have set the default printer
even then the i am not getting the printout of Excise Invoice
in J1IP after executing status is NO OUT PUT TYPE
Please advice

As suggest by you I have to Maintain the out put type for the commercial invoice , so is it necessary to maintain the out put type of Commercial invoice to get the printout of Excise Invoice ?
As the Excise invoice has its own different Billing doc type i.e. JEX (Sap standard) and the out put type J1i0 is assigned to it,
to which the print program J_1IEXCP and form J_1I_EXC_INVOICE is assigned , so why at all we need to maintain the out put type for the commercial invoice ?
Please correct me If I am wrong .

Problem in print out with English characters (THANGSAN font)

Hi Experts!!
I have created a smartform and print program which should actually print some Thai characters and English characters too. I created a smartstyle and have some 10 paragraph formats and are all have THANGSAN font. So, I am printing all the thai and english characters in THANGSAN font only.
When print preview is seen, the output is very fine, but when being printed, the thai characters are appearing fine but the english characters' font is being changed to somehting else (courier or arial). Why is this happening so? Because of this, all the output is being merged and looking very weird.
The smartform is created in EN and is translated to all languages. All user has logged on to SAP in EN language.
Can somebody please help me out with whether the problem is with THANGSAN or the printer?
P.S. The smartform is actually similar to the standard script Z_RVINVOICE01 in which only THANGSAN is used.

Excise register rg1

hi,
i m modifying rg1 . in this register i have to convert quantity into no.
using this formula.
qty = menge * ( umren / umrez). ( umren & umrez in table MARM)
when i do this it give me run time error
PACKED FIELD CONTAIN INCORRECT BCD FORMAT
can anyone solve this problem.

Problem with printing out of sap to printerserver 2008 connected printer

Hi there,
one of our customers is using a SAP ECC 6 System on a Windwos 2003 Server and is printing over a windows 2008 Printerserver to the printers.
We now have the issue, that there is a problem with lpd. The printer is reach- and pingable from SAP system, also on os-level the printer-server is reachable via telnet on port 515. But within printing, we get the following eror
Status: Incorrect (Failed to connect to LPD)
Job status: Completed
Area: Data transfer
Error: LPD response format invalid
Any idea?

It seems the problem is in the connection the LPD on the destination host.
I would check the connection. Please, see note 10758 that can be helpful for this case.

Problems getting print-out of Sub-contracting challan

Hi all,
we,ve had real problem getting the print0out of sub contracting challan.
System wouldn't show any print-preview of the sub contracting challan.
but at assign forms and procedures in customizing of Inv management, at 51IF FOR SC challan, the system does show a print-preview of the sc challan form.
but, after creating a SC challan and trying to view the print-preview of sc chalan, the system would neither show print-preview nor get a print-pout of the sc chalan.

IPhoto 4.0.3 color and Brightness problems when printing out photos.

In addition to my previous question, I forgot to mention that opening the iPhoto 4 JPEG photos in Photoshop also import as dark and reddish tinted. Help?

This color management thing gets pretty complicated. To get the best results you have to synch monitor calibration with camera and print settings.
There is also the difference between additive (light)and subtractive (pigment- ink) color. The monitor starts with black - 0%, adds red, green and blue to a pixel (picture element) and gets white 100%. A printer starts with white (paper) and when all the colors are added gets black - this is different then using true black ink.
So by their nature the display on the monitor and print are quite different. Typically monitors are set to maximum brightness and contrast. A photo appears light and less than saturated. Printing at BEST PHOTO lays on lots of ink dpi. So the print is going to be saturated and darker than the monitor image - for most users.
Professionals go to great effort to calibrate and control the effect of printing versus display. For us users it takes experimenting and experience to be able to judge the difference between display and output (print).
I have found that using Adobe RGB settings the photo as seen in PhotoShop is very close to the high quality print PhotoShop produces. That is why I do most adjustments in PhotoShop and use iPhoto for cropping and rotating pictures for the web or email.
The key to getting the best print in iPhoto is your printers color management settings.

After clicking print invoice (F8), i'm unable to take the print out. No pages displayed.

Problem with printing from Acrobat Reader XI

SInce I installed Acrobat Reader XI I have got problems with printing out pages. The text starts a bit down (2 cm) on the paper, resulting that the last part of the text on the page will be missing. And the missing part does not follow on page 2, it just don´t comes out!
It doesn´t matter what settings i click in on the print setting page in Acrobat Reader, it always gets the same result.
Does anyone know what can be the problem?

No files appeared in C:\Users\Pavilion\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Settings but they did appear in Distiller.
I tried to copied them from C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat\Settings, but found they were already there. I copied them by adding -COPY before .joboptions in the name. Now they appeared in Printing Preferences with the -COPY added.
I tested a print from Word (using File / Print), but was not prompted for the filename or location. I checked my entire system and couldn't find the PDF file anywhere. I tried changing the Port to Desktop\*.pdf using Printer Properties, but that didn't work either.
I was able to successfully use the Acrobat menu item in Word & Excel to create a PDF but it automatically created the file on the Desktop without an option to change the filename.
After several days and hours, I gave up and installed Acrobat X on the W7 computer. I can still use Acrobat XI on the W8 computer. So be it!
