i have got a genuine prob in print preview of po
in my client we have two new doc type for po
when i am taking those new doc type in print preview at
item level text is not comming but in old doc types the item level text is comming
i am totaly confused how will i solve this prob
plz reply soon

Hi,
This can be controlled through configuration and should be done when a new document type is created. In SPRO, use path Material Management --> Purchasing --> Messages --> Texts for Messages --> Define texts for Purchase Order. You can copy the details from the other order type which works fine.

I had a problem with print preview of billing document.

HI all,
I had a problem with print preview of billing document which contains two output types ZR1 ZR2..
For the footer text of billing document I maintained the font size as 7,5 pts, But when i go for print preview from output type ZR1 the font size of footer text is very small and looks good for output type ZR2.
If i change the print options-->logical destination of output type ZR1 same as Output type ZR2, the footer text looks good.
I think there is some issue with logical destination in print options for the output type ZR1, how can i resolve it.

for both the output types , r u using same sapscript or smartform?
if yes then, u can control it in output options of smartform and also in sapscript , you can control through if condition.
and if differect sapscript or smartform then you should not get such problem.
you can check the sapscript or smartfrom in TNAPR table.

Problems with Print Preview in PO.

Hi Experts, I need your help!!
I have problems with print preview in purchase order, if the PO has moviments ( GR or Invoice ) I cant see the form of PO in Print Preview...Anybody has idea about happen?
I can see the form before i make the movements after i cant see anymore..This is right?

Problem in print preview

Hi all,
I am working on sap scripts. i have problem in print preview,
1. I have 2 pages in my layout ,but only one page is displyed in the preview, iam able to view 2 pages in other test program , i have compared all the atrubutes with test program , it's same for both.
2. Iam getting border lines for all the windows on the layout which i don't want on the page, when printed
It would be appreciated if anybody could give me suggestion or sollution.

I think in the second page we give next page as the same i.e page2 as if there is no other page after page2.

Problem while print preview purchase order for new document type

Dear Experts,
I have got the problem as below and need your helps.
I created a new purchasing document type and then created a new PO with this document type. PO was created successfully in the system. I added a message to print out PO with the followed parameters as NEU output type, 1.Print Out medium , VN partner function, dispatch time is 3 ( Send with application own transaction).
Then, I clicked Print Preview button on the ME23n screen, the error message bellowed was shown
"The combination of document type
and Purchasing organization is invalid.
please check the document and change it.
unable to print the form"
I really want to print the PO with new purchasing document type on the existed purchasing organization, Could you please help me identify the problem and solution for this issue?

Please let me know why we check the new document type in Program, Routine and From of NEU output type?
p/s: I compared the version the program, FORM and routine of NEU output type and found that there is no the differences btw DEV server and QAs server. However, An PO created susscessfully in QAs server, but the error was happend in DEV server.
Could you please come with the other posible causes and solutions for this issue?

Problem in print preview of smartform

hi all,
when i transport my smartform from dev system to production system. In the print preview , the numeric values are getting reduced to *.
i.e *99 where as the correct value wa 267542399.
where as the print priview of the same smartform on dev is working fine.
kindly let me knw how to solve this problem.

Hi,
You need to take the long field than the current field, in the DEV system the length is sufficient for the value but in the Test system the value is coming more then the Field length, so take the same length of that field so that that will work in every system

Problem with Print Preview and Print events

Hello Experts,
We have developed a program, in which, I m trying to display the % values in the Sub Totals and Grand Total lines, The logic and program functionality is performing very well. The report is displaying the output the way end user is willing to see.
The main problem is, the entire % values are going to a toss when we click the Print Preview or trying to print the report, which is not supposed to go that way. I have even tried to debug the program where the problem is evolving in the code, but it is not raised from the code.
Please refer to the screen shots.Before clicking the Print Preview and after clicking the print preview.
Do anybody face the same kind of problem ever?
If so please let me know what could be the best possible solution.

I have use the below code but not for percentage... I think for percentage you just have to calculate the normal percentage and replace it with a subtotal value.

Problem with Print Preview Urgent!

Hello BW Experts,
1.I am trying to use the Print functionality for web printing.In the print preveiew i see all the text in black and white.It is completely different from the page that is displayed in the browser.
--I tried using the same print stylesheet but it does not work.
2.In the print preview how do i change the default header line height to some other value.
3.If i select file>print preview in internet explorer it is treating the logo as a different page,so the logo is printing in seperate page followed by the text.

Problem with print preview in alv grid

Hello all,
I have to display base unit of measure(meins) in alv grid output. i am using a conversion routine to convert it from ST TO PC before display.After executing the report i am getting the correct data. the problem is when i select the print preview
alv list is displayed. in that the unit of measure pc is not displayed, it is comming as '*******. what i came to know is the same conversion routine is triggered in the standard program for the display. so it canot convert that.
so please help me out in solving this.

Problem in Print preview of smart forms in different servers.

Print preview is different in different systems(development and Quality) for the same smartform, though everything is same.
both are seen on print preview of locl printer, and I have checked the settings of locl in spad also and this also has no difference, there is absolutely no difference in smartform ,style paragraph format or character format.
Can anyone please let me know what could be the problem.

Estoy experimentando problemas a la hora de imprimir varias Work Orders usando las transacciones IW32 , IW33 y IW38.
Al intentar imprimir 20 work orders juntas, 20 ventanas de Print Preview aparecen asi dificultando la impresion de multiples work orders.
SI alguien tiene alguna respeusta o ayuda para resolver este problema de setting se agradece.

Se me ocurre que podría ser que estuvieses llamando a tu programa de impresión cada vez que quieres realizar una copia de tu formulario. Eso no es necesario ya que puedes enviar el número de copias por parámetro a tu formulario. Quizá sea eso, a ver si hay suerte.

Problem with print preview dialog action in CS4

I have a automation plugin for Photoshop that print a image playing a Photoshop print preview dialog.
The script works on CS3 but not in CS4. There is some specific platform tags (Mac uses 'keyPrintSettings' and 'keyPageFormat' that are OpaqueStructPtr and it's not possible to take the size, and Windows uses 'keySystemInfo' and there is no information about this data) and it's not possible to ignore.
I attach a sample functions for CS3 (working) and CS4 (not working).

Print Preview using crystal report in SAP B1 slow.

Dear all,
I face another problem. Print preview using crystal report in SAP B1 is very slow. Although i have create a query view in SQL server but it's still slow for my user. First time i create using table in crystal report. just drag the table. It's take more than 10 minutes. After that i move all the query to view in SQL server , it's take 1-2 minutes to print preview some time more.. But i think that it's still slow. Does any one know how to print preview fast. Just like in PLD.

PO print preview displays incorrect setting in decimal places

Dear Experts
Please help me on the following condition.
I have a problem in print preview of a PO. It displays the incorrect setting for decimal place in currency.
It shows USD 1.404,00 whereby the amount should be USD 1,404.00
This only happens to a certain vendor that is doing PO for the first time from that country
Example:
I'm creating a PO for vendor 123. Vendor 123 is located in country A. No PO has been created for any
vendor in country A before. When I saved my PO, in print preview, the decimal setting is not correct.
But when I'm creating another PO, for vendor 234. Vendor 234 is located in country B. There have been
several POs created for vendors in country B before. When I saved my PO, in print preview, the decimal
setting is correct.
Both vendor 123 and vendor 234 is using currency of USD.
Is there any other setting with the vendor master in regard with the currency decimal setting for each
country for the vendor? Or something that I've missed out?
Diagnosis:
I've checked with the user profiles->default-> decimal notation. It displays 1,234,567.89 correctly
I've also run OY04, but the decimal setting is correct.

this has nothing to do with print preview, it is just basic country setting (OY01) how a quantity and value is written on a PO to a vendor is country xyz.
German uses to comma to seperate decimals, while USA uses the point to seperate decimals
this would be the German version 1.404,00, and this the US version:: 1,404.00
so if an American sends a PO to a German vendor, then the document will show 1.404,00 so that the German can understand that he wants 1404. (and not 1000 times less)
