Problem in Proforma invoice.....

Hi,
for one particular order & delivery item numbers 10, 20, 30 with each having 1.00 qty.
Whenever we invoice it we are adding some batch items 11,21, 31. for these items qty is showing right as 0.00 qty.
But whenever we create the proforma for the same for item 21 qty is showing 1.00 but actual is 0.00 qty its copying  QTY from 20 item for item 20 its showing Qty as 0.00 which belongs to 21 item. same is happening with 31 item. for item 31 its showing Qty of 30 .
Pls let me know what will be the problem.
thanks in advance
K`rishna D

Hi Krishna
You have not specified your document types (delivery type and proforma type).
What copy control you have configured.  Is it Order to Billing or Delivery to Billing. Check that.
Thanks

  • Line Item Problem in  while  Proforma Invoicing in case of STO

    Hi All,
The problem is related to Line Item Quantity in Proforma Invoice which is explained with an example -
When we are doing Outbound Delivery for STO ( Stock Transfer Order ) we have the batch-split function where 2 line generates for a single line item material A in which in the first line no delivery quantity and value gets reflected and in the second line for the same material the delivery quantity gets reflected with batches. Then we save the order and done PGI. After that while doing the proforma invoice there also again the 2 lines appear for the single material A where the first line doesn't contain invoice quantity and value and show as 0pcs.In the second line for the same material it shows the invoice quantity with value. I want to remove this first line for the  same line item from proforma invoice and want the system to generate only one line for the line item containing the invoice quantity.
Point to be noted that this thing doesn't happen for normal sales cycle done through Sales Order.
I have also checked with the Item Category NLN where i have tried the Billing relevance N - Pro Forma - no zero quantities (including main batch items) and L - Pro Forma - no zero quantities. Still the same problem is arising.
What is the problem here and how can it be solved?
Looking forward to some valuable suggestions
    Thanks & Regards
    Priyanka Mitra

check for your batch item cateogry,,, maintain the batch item cateogry setting same as it is ther in case of normal sale cycle. or what you can do ,,,copy your batch item cateogry and create a new batch item cateogry for your STO delivery .
i did it and it is working fine for me. please check the batch item cateogry and matain it the same way.
    cheers

  • Problem with pricing condition type in case of proforma invoicing

    Hello All,
the problem is related to a pricing condition type in case of proforma invoice where the details are as follows -
Name of Condition Type - ZADC - Add 10% on Cost                                         Access seq.   Z038 Diff
                                                                                    Plus/minus    A Positive
Cond. class -  A Discount or surcharge
    Calculat.type -  A Percentage
    Cond.category - Blank
Manual entries      D Not possible to process manually
    Amount / Percent - Checked
    Item Condition - checked
    Scale Basis - Quantity
    Currency Conversion - Checked
    Quantity Conversion - Checked
This condition type has been kept as statistical in the pricing procedure. Still in the proforma invoice the condition type is not getting reflected automatically , whenever I am updating with " carry out new pricing " option the condition type is getting populated. In case of other commercial invoices this very condition type is getting populated automatically without any updates.Along with this point to be noted is that the Condition type in which the actual costi is captured has been kept active.
What more needs to be configured or what are the changes to be done to populate the condition type automatically as statistical during the time of proforma invoicing?
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi,
Kindly do the pricing analysis and check whether you have the following error such as
Inactive condition type because of subsequent price,

  • Proforma invoice is created for delivery without PGI in STO(Depot sales)

    Dear Gurus,

If anyone faced the same problem let me konw the solution ate the earliest.

    Hi
As already said, as per the standard the Performa Invoice do not check the Goods Issue status of a Delivery since it uses the Copying Requirement 009 in transaction VTFL.
If you want your performa invoice to be created only after the PGI of a delivery, then use the Requirement 003 in Copying Requirement field for the combination of your Delivery Doc. and Billing doc. in transaction VTFL at Header level.

  • Requirement of invoice list in case of a proforma invoice generation.

    Dear Experts,
I have a case where the customer is indulged with the export sales & he had delivered the excisable goods to his customer (or we can also consider it under STO as one of the above case) & wants to arise a proforma invoice in context to this transaction with the delivery document being taken as the reference document in the billing screen VF01; where, as I have already mentioned that the PGI has been done. Now the problem is this that the billing document is not getting generated with an information log that, '_The invoice list cannot be determined_'. Now I am not able to understand that why this is happening? This was the delivery related with a single line item.
I went for changing the billing relevance field at VOV7 from 'A' to 'J' & even tried by changing the copying requirement from '010' to '311' at VTFL, from LF to F8 (as this is normally followed during the issue of free samples & subseqyent free of charge deliveries); but was not able to get the required output.
    What to do? Kindly assist.
    With regards,
    M.S.Kumar.

    1) The document flow is like this that between the two plants for e.g. 1000 & 1100 under the same company code  the stock transfer needs to take place.
    2) Plant 1000 is devoid of the required amount of stock, hence it raised an enquiry for the aforesaid amount of stock with plant 1100
    3) Plant 1100 confirmed the availability of stock
    4) Plant 1000 raised a purchase order with plant 1100
    5) Plant 1100 raised the sales order for the required quantity of stock with plant 1000, & has done the PGI under delivery.
    6) Now the plant 1100 wants to raise one proforma invoice with respect to the delivery of goods being done to the corresponding plant 1000 & one commercial invoice for the payments to be made.
    7) The processing from raising the purchase order to the delivery of the goods to the respective plant has already being performed.
    8) At the moment of creating the proforma invoice with billing type F8, the system is throwing an error message that it is not able to generate the billing document because of the reason that the invoice list date cannot be determined.
or else in the other way, in simple manner what needs to be done when simply the billing document is not getting generated in context to a delivery document because of the reason that the invoice list date could not be determined. Does this have to do anything with the POD time frame or the pricing conditions being defined under the pricing procedure which has not been followed upon while processing the sales order?
    With regards,
    M.S.Kumar.

  • Zero Qty line elimination in Stock Transfer Proforma Invoice

    Hello all,
We are  making Stock Transfer Order between two plants within the same co code (ME21N). We are having automatic bacth determination at delivery level (VL10B). Automatic batch determination generates one header line without qty and others with qty. During Proforma invoice creation, all the rows (including zero qty row of header level batch) from delivery are getting copied into the proforma invoice.  I want the system to copy only those rows having qty greater than zero from delivery in to proforma invoice.
In case of normal sales invoice this problem is not occuring.
I need your advice on the above mentioned problem.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Proforma Invoice (F8) for Stock Transport Order

With regard to intra-company STO, we have a specific requirement:
Referencing delivery document generated using Xn: VL10B (delivery from Stock Transport Order), we create proforma invoice type F8. Subsequently, excise invoice is created referencing the proforma invoice. We need to capture the material cost plus 10 % of material cost as PR00 value in the invoice.
    Problem:
However, here comes the problem: condition type PR00 does not come automaticcally in the proforma invoice, though pricing procedure has PR00 condition type. We have to manually entere the PR00 condition type for every line item (a routine calculates 110% of the value once value is enetered in the manually entered condition)
Is it the standard system behaviour ? Any way out?
    with kind regards
    Muraleedharan.R

    Hi,
Have you maintained the condition records for PR00 , if not than you have to enter it manually at the item level .
If your price is same for all the items than maintain use header condition or else at item level you have to enter PR00 item by item.

  • Delivery - Proforma - Invoice

    Hello Experts,
During requirement gathering we propose order related billing for Proforma, but the problem is some of the data which require for proforma output is capturing from outbound delivery.also user wants to create proforma with reference to delivery.
my question is - is it possible to create proforma with reference to delivery without dng PGI and then billing document from the same delivery nos.
Can one proforma and invoice generated from one delivery nos.???
    Kindly suggest.
    Thanks
    Shri..

    Hello,
Yes, we can do this in SAP Standard.
Infact this is the process normally followed in many industries, specially where advance payment is required.
You can create a Proforma Invoice from Delivery Document before PGI & then create actual Invoice after doing PGI.
For Proforma Invoice before PGI you have to do the following setting:
IMG - Sales and Distribution - Billing - Billing Documents - Maintain Copying Control For Billing Documents - Copying control: Delivery document to billing document
Here select your Delivery & Billing Type & at Header Level in Copying requirements insert routine 11 - Head.dlv-rel.w/o GI.
No other setting is required for Delivery to actual Invoice.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • Sales proforma invoice - f.o.c.

    Hello,
    I have the following issue.
For customs purposes our sales company has to create a proforma invoice with reference to the delivery.
If the order (TA) was for free (itm.cat. TANN) because of warranty, they have to print a proforma as well with the value of the parts.
Now I have the problem that in the proforma invoice it doesn't allow me to change a price from zero to whatever value, cause the itm.cat. TANN is an item without price calc.
Does someone know the correct procedure?
    Many many thanks,
    Wolfi.

If it is acceptable to display the valuation price of the goods, you can use the value of VPRS (I guesss this is not acceptable for business since they would disclose confidential information)
    Other options might be:
    - if the f.o.c sales document is created with reference to the original sales document, you can pick up the price from there
    - you can try to simulate the pricing in the program of the form (using FM "PRICING", "PRICING_DIALOG" ??? - I haven't tried them...just found them on sapfans forum; if necessary you can; you can try to find better standard FM or develop your own solution)
    Just my ideas...

  • Proforma Invoice for Consignment Orders / Internal Orders

    Hello,
we need to implement a consigment inventory (for customers) in our EBS 12.1 environment.
A search in the forum pointed me to this flow that looks quite good already:
(quoting Sandeep Gandhi from thread: Consignment Order in Oracle ( 11.5.10.2 and R12)
    >
    1) Define each customer as an org
    2) When you receive first sales order, create an internal order to ship material from your warehouse to the customer. This ensures that your inventory is updated, shipping documents are generated and invoices are not created. This also ensures that the inventory continues to show up as an asset on your books.
    3) When you receive consumption advice from customer, create a regular sales order which will create invoices.
    4) This ensures that at any point in time, you can know exactly how much is at each customer location. And you can easily process return of consignment material by doing another Internal Order.
    >
That looks almost perfect to us, except one thing: we need a proforma invoice when we ship the material (point 2).
Does anybody know how I could generate a proforma invoice for an Internal Order?
Or did anyone solve that problem differently?
    Thanks in advance,
    David.

I know that you can generate a proforma invoice for an ISO if the ISO is between 2 different OU.
But the customer Inventory orgs I suggested earlier are typically under the same OU (unless you have reasons to do it otherwise) and so Oracle probably won't generate a Proforma invoice.
If that happens, you can create a custom document and print it along with the shipping documents for the ISO. You don't have to worry about a/c transactions since proforma invoice is basically a commitment that states price/qty etc. It is not really an AR invoice.
    Hope this helps,
    Sandeep Gandhi

  • Proforma Invoice for Consignment Fill-up

    Hi,
Everytime there is a delivery out from my company, we need to submit a proforma invoice to custom.
Now we plan to implement the Consignment but we facing a problem. After we created the transcations for consignment fill-up (sales order type KB and its delivery order), we want to create the proforma invoice (F8) based on the delivery order but an error occured as below:
"80008164 000010 Item category LF KBN cannot be invoiced with billing type F8."
Is this message telling that consignment fill-up transaction can't use as reference to create a proforma invoice?
Is there any configuration that I need to do to allow the creation of proforma invoice based on the consignment fill-up transaction?
    Thank you.

    Hi Aaron,
You can have a Proforma Invoice for Consignment Fill-up. For this use the following path:
IMG> Sales and Distribution> Sales> Sales Documents> Sales Document Item--> Define Item Categories. Here select the Item Category KBN and select option "D" for Billing Relevance field and  "X" for Pricing field (seen in the Business Data option).
Also maintain Copy control between the Delivery type & Billing type using T-code VTFL. Here ensure Copying requirement as 009(DlvRel.pro forma hdr) at Header level. And at Item level select Item category as "KBN" with Copying requirements as 010(DlvRel.pro forma itm), Billing Qty as "B" and Pricing Type as per your requirement.
    Hope this helps you.
    REWARD if it helps you!!

  • Restrict proforma invoice without doing pgi in STO(same company code)

    Hi Gurus',
I am creating STO (same company code) from Exciseable Plant to Non Exciseable Plant.
    For that i am creating ME21N> VL10B>VL02N(PICKING & PGI)>VF01(Proforma Invoice)>J1IIN>
    Now problem arises ---
I am able to create Proforma Invoice without doing PGI.
Now i want to restrict proforma invoice creation with out doing PGI.
    What config require for this.
    Regards
    Santanu

Check your copy controls fromT. Code: VTFL - Copy-Control Settings b/w Delivery-to-Pro forma  say, F8 -- LF
Settings at Header for the combination equal copying requirements 003 Header/dlv.-related and at Item category copying requirements 004 Deliv-related item

  • Regarding proforma invoice and delivery

    Hi everyone,
I have read online for information on how to prevent multiple proforma invoices. Understand that this can be controlled by using routine 311 in VTFL.
Problem now is that my company's process requires the proforma invoice to be created before PGI is posted. I tried copying the codes from routine 311 and commenting out the portion which checks against Goods movement status but the result was that during VF01 it hits error No relevant documents for billing.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Kane

    Hi,
As  per my knowledge it is not possible in standard SAP,
Take the help of ABAPer and copy the 311 routine and modify the program
    IF VBUK-WBSTK <> 'C'.
        PERFORM VBFS_HINZUFUEGEN USING '      '  '400' text-009 space space.
        SY-SUBRC = 4.
        EXIT.
      ENDIF.
Based on the above coding which is mentioned in 311 system is not accepting to create pro-forma Invoice and you will get message "Goods issue has not been posted for the delivery
Try to modify the program  with the help of ABAPer and check the cycle
I hope it will solve the issue
