Problem in recording audio on Note 2,3 (AIR 13)?

Peace be upon you ^_^
My team and I developed an android game using flash pro cs6, we published it like two months ago.
Now,we are fixing the bugs for the next update.
1 level in the game accesses the microphone to check for input only, doesn't record anything (record audio permission)..
it just listens for sound to blow up a balloon. It works perfectly on most devices, but some users reported it not working !
I checked some cases my self, it didn't work on Samsung Note 2,3 running jellybean 4.4.2, some SIII phones and others.
my phone is SIII (jeallybean 4.3) and it works fine on it ..
WHY? what could be the problem?
I suspect it's AIR compatibility problem with some android versions ... :/
*please note that AIR runtime is embedded inside the app (captive)
thank you for your help

  • Premiere Pro CS3 -"Recording audio is not possible"?

I am reinstalling Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 on a new computer but get the message "The currently installed soundcard driver does not support DirectSound Input. Recording audio is not possible". I have noted comments on similar sound problems elsewhere but have not seen anything that seems to solve this problem. Is the problem related to the change in windows environments from Vista to Windows 7 (on Dell i7 Alienware) or do I need to buy another Sound Card or is it Premiere Pro CS3 where the problem lies? With thanks, eirrom.

Yes, quite likely a compatibility issue. CS3 used an older compatibility model, which long has been surpassed by newer versions of DX. However, it still should be backward compatible, so any issues you may have may depend on requiriung a specific driver, installing the full legacy load of DirectX or as a minor, changing some permissions on teh system to allow loading of unsigned legacy drivers and/or compatibility modes. It's a more complex problem than just flipping a switch eitrher way. Check your device manager and then work your way through...

  • Record audio is not working

Does anyone know why when I open up the "Record Audio" button why it would not be recording?  The audio box appears but there is no sound.  It was working but now..... it has stopped and could use some advice.  Thanks.

The fact that it also fails in iMovie suggests that this is probably not a problem with FCP X.
That leaves either a hardware failure or a software conflict.
You can check whether the microphone itself is functional by testing in System Preferences->Sound directly.
Open the input panel and speak into the microphone. As you speak, you should get some visual feedback like in the picture below. Do you get some bars or does it stay the same all the time?

  • Pause button problem while recording audio

Someone talked about that problem on another post but I think
that problem deserve a post for it...
We have a probleme when using the pause button while
    recording audio on a slide.
If we hit the pause button, it completely deletes all
    previous recording in the slide.
If someone have a long text to read for a slide he cannot
take a break and think if everything is ok. Our clients are
    disappointed and calls this function.
Do you have an idea when that problem will be solved ?
    Thank

Hi Edji, I could not agree more. We reported this to Adobe
months ago and it has been acknowledged, but no information will be
made availlable about any fix release date. We have over 500 staff
users making recordings using Presenter and have trained the
majority on version 6. Imagine the number of supports calls we have
had to deal with when suddenly the pause button deletes all
previous slide recordings in version 7.
Depsite many attampts to get a resolution for this we have
had nothing aside from the suggestion above which certainly does
not fix the issue. It is a significant bug in the program that has
caused us endless hours of support work.
We are quite dissappointed at present with the lack of
reponse to the need for a fix and are currently evaluating a number
    of other products.
    Pityful but true.

  • PVC2300 recorded audio is not sync with video

    Hi all,
I have a big big problem with my new PVC2300 network camera:
when I recording (from browser interface) the audio of the .avi file is not sync with video... in details in a record of 12-13 minutes the audio ends 8-10 seconds before the video... and I suppose that more lenght is the recorded file and more lenght is the desync between audio and video.
I use MPEG4 video stream at 640x480 30 fps and audio G.711 A-Law in mode "simplex - listen only".
For my usage this is a very big isssue... I hope there is a way to fix it.
    Thanks in advice
    Robert

I tried for 2 days for all possible configurations, editing: frame rate, quality, resolution. and type of stream (MPEG4 or MJPEG).
The only case that the recorded audio and video is sync is setting the SMB protocol to autorecord to a NAS.
But this mode have a lot of problems (.asf  format, large file size and continuos recording without the ability to start and stop the recordings).
I think that the desync is a bug (a very big bug) of yours activex control  that makes the recording.
I have find more or less a workaround using the Cisco Client... the program get an error on start (after unintall and install few times, and a lot of test, I understand that the only way to use the Cisco Client is running it as administrator.
Ok finnaly the cisco program works, but using it I found another problems:
after recorded, I tried to export a part of recording for testing the audio-video sync... the program gives me 2 format: AVI (without the ability to choose any other options) and ASF (with quality options). I tried first AVI format... the result sucks: bad video quality, 1,8 GB every 20 minutes and audio desync... no comment! ...then I tried the second export format: ASF...thats OK, the result is good... audio finally is syncronized with video.
My system is Windows Vista SP2 (32bit) and Internet Explorer 8... I tried also from an other pc with Windows 7... same problems recording from browser interface.  I have installed on my system the lastest video codecs (for example: divx etc.).
For my usage I can use the Cisco Client but my ideal usage will be recording from browser.
I think these problems are very serious for a product as is this camera.
I hope there is a way to resolve they... maybe with a future firmware update or installing an other software.
    Thanks
    Robert

  • My recorded audio is not showing up in TASKS/Reference Clip:

Per the HELP file, I can OPEN (or Browse) Soundbooth scores. However, I can not get anything I have recorded, which I want to "Score" to show up in the Reference Clip "drop down" option. It remains greyed-out and not selectable. What am I missing? Thanks!

There are several thousand sound effects, royalty-free, available for immediate download in Resource Central. For Scores, the application ships with several - if you are not seeing several dozen then you may have chosen not to install the additional content or you installed the trial version of Soundbooth. (If you installed the trial, then subsequently purchased it online, you should have received a link to download the additional Scores content in your confirmation e-mail.)
Then, there are a few additional Scores bundles available for purchase through Resource Central. You can preview the Scores through Resource Central, and choosing to purchase a bundle will pop open your browser to the proper Adobe Store page.

  • Recording audio cassettes to a MacBook Air

I'm an English Teacher in China, and would like to transfer the lessons from the audio cassettes of various school books to my MacBook Air.  It's 2009 model, so only one USB.  I understand that the microphone jack is an OUT line only, so I am a bit stumped as to how to proceed. The cassettte player has a USB port, but I am not sure if this can be used as an audio output line.  It also has various RCA jacks as well. Any thoughts? Keep in mind that I might no be able to access all available adapters, so the simplest solution would be the best (well, I suppose it always is!).  Thanks for any help in advance.
    Cheers.

Before buying the direct USB to USB cable, check the manual of the cassette deck if it can work in this way.
If you can't find the manual, give it a try... it will not blow up your mac nor the cassette desk... it will simply not work. You may have to set the Mac's USB audio input with applications / utilities / Audio MIDI setup.app
The analog (analogue) to digital convertor is a small device (about 40 to 50 €) with :
on side a USB plug with digital output (goes right into the Mac)
on the other side a mini jack for analog input (ex the cassette deck)
Most of them come with a male mini jack to  2x female RCA splitter cable.
    Kind regards,

  • Audio: Record Audio doesn't see mic since last upgrade

Since the last upgrade (10.0.8) Record Audio does not see the mic input to my Saffire Pro 24 DSP - the Saffire is selected as input, mono mic on Channel 1. The Saffire is working and a signal appears on its level meters and headphones. It used to work fine. Anyone else seen this?

  • RECORD AUDIO ISSUE

This morning, I woke up to my VO from last night (auio tracks in timeline) with a red bar thru all three.
Plus, Record Audio is not allowing a destination thus not allowing to record.  I didnt mess with any settings before I shut down last night.
    Help - Thank you
imac 27'  running Maverick with FCPX 10.1.1

I can't offer any definite solution other than to try trashing the preferences.
Corrupt preferences can create a vast range of different symptoms, so whenever FCP X stops working properly in any way, trashing the preferences should be the first thing you do using this free app.
    http://www.digitalrebellion.com/prefman/
Shut down FCP X, open PreferenceManager and in the window that appears:-
    1. Ensure that  FCP X  is selected.
    2. Click Trash
The job is done instantly and you can re-open FCP X.

  • Audio does not fit with video FCPX 10.1.3

Hi, I have a little bit unusual (at least for me) problem. I have old video from camera (maybe 20 years) on my HDD and I would like to edit it. Problem is the audio does not fit with video - when somebody talks it is apparently delayed. Can you give me a hint how to fix it in FCPX? I tried to detach audio and move just audio line but it is not possible.
    Thanks

I tried it again from the beginning and now I can move audio to the right. I would just need to move video to the right, so audio stays still.. I need to delay audio so one option is to delete part of beginning of audio track or somehow move video to the right but it is not possible, i guess video track in the beginning cannot be empty....
    It is difficult to explain

  • Audio does not sync with its own waveform.

    Hi Everyone,
I captured an audio track from a DAT tape into FCP. No video yet, just audio.
I noticed the audio that I hear is 2 frames ahead of the corresponding wave form. Any ideas on how that could happen and how to correct it?
I can re-capture the DAT if needed.
    Thanks!

David, I'm monitoring the audio through the line out of my Mac Pro, using a small pair of powered computer speakers.
It's a system I've been using for years, and haven't had a problem w the audio waveform not matching the audio I hear, until now.
    Thanks for your response!

  • Audio does not sync with videos

Sometimes when I download videos from iTunes, the audio and the video are not in sync. This has only started to happen since I upgraded to iTunes 7. Is there a way to fix this or is it a problem with the download process?

  • Recorded audio ahead of physical recording

Hey guys. So this weekend we were in the studio working on a new song. I'm having a problem when recording audio. I noticed it when we started laying down an acoustic track. The acoustic is stereo mic'd and I'm recording on 2 separate mono tracks. I have low latency mode turned on and I hear no latency at all through the headphones. After I record the track (spot on with the drums), we play it back and the track is rushed. I have to nudge the tracks right about 6 times to get it lined up to where it was actually played. The same goes for every track I recorded, even to the point where I had to use flex time to line the lead tracks up properly. I know for a fact I didn't play it rushed like this.
In my preferences, it shows a round trip latency of 17.7 ms and the sample delay slider is set to -646 by default. I have a Presonus FP10 that I'm using. I have no effects turned on for the recorded track (minus POD Farm for the electric tracks). This happens all the time, Logic is moving the recorded audio forward in time. I have to fix this, because we'll be laying down bass and vocals this week. There are very few other plug ins running in the session (and this is all the sessions too). The only bus is a drum bus using a compressor with a 2:1 compression set. The only reverbs are on the overheads and high hat tracks.
Why is Logic shifting my recorded audio forward?

    gnogtr wrote:

Do you mean the recording delay slider? If so, I suspect that's why your tracks are playing back early. The default value should be zero unless the Presonus driver is reporting the delay to Logic and Logic, in response, is setting that value to -646. But as far as I'm aware, Logic doesn't even do that.
    Try this test:
    • start with a blank song with no plugins anywhere, PDC set to OFF, and software monitoring set to off (_don't leave any of those steps out_)
    • set the recording delay slider to zero
    • take a track (something that has drums or distinct rhythm to it) and place it on track 1, bar 2 (yes, bar 2)
    • take patch cords and physically connect the stereo output of the interface back into inputs 1 and 2. No, you won't blow anything up by doing this.
    • create a new audio track, assign it to inputs 1/2 and put it into record-ready
    • go into record and record about 10 or 20 seconds of the track from bar 1
    • take the track out of record and play back both tracks.
At this point, do they sound like they're flamming or flanging? Or do they sound tight playing together? If they sound tight then your basic problem was that recording delay setting of -646.
This doesn't mean you're out of the woods yet, but the test I outlined above will put you on the right track.

  • Stereo Audio Record problem (While recording video as well)

    Hi,
I just just bought Sony Xperia C3 dual yesterday. I'm having problem with audio recording. I installed the Sony audio recorder from Google play store but while recording in stereo mode with it the gain suddenly drops after 1/2 second(s). Same problem while recording a video with stock camera app as well, video quality is fine but the audio with it is,just worst. Tried third party app like regorge pro but faced the same problem. Tried disabling the AGC with it, but no good. Recording in mono mode just works fine and I get clear record.
    Any solution?
    Thanks.

@uliwooly  This one i recorded today morning. The audio starts good & clear at the begining but just after one second it drops & then you can hear the bus engine sounds like waterfall. Here is the youtube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5H1jNxyYMlw Here's another video uploaded by a review site with the same problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3vKwydfN6U & more from youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GLLj2ommP4  then i used a third party audio recorder with mic switch option https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6d4uAEZFRE as usual with the rear mic the gain suddenly drops after second & you can hear some weird sounds like a "movie bomb" sound at 00:04, "rattle snake" sound at 00:05 & 00:12 & with the front mic starts at 00:17 you can hear the difference. It's mono but so clear & sharp.  Finally, as i dont have the mic swith option while recording video, all videos i record will have the same problem. This is definitely not  the typical "sony" thing to carry on.
