Hi,
Check your release strategy. If you do not have the authority to release the PO based on the release strategy (you may have authority to release PO based on other release strategy) then the release tab may be missing.

        I a   hve a problem for releasing blocked sales orders
         what i have done: 1)i have blocked sales order based on exceeded creditlimit
         (i have change SDType in 'OVAK' is 'C')
                  2)now i have to release for furthur processing so i have done following steps
                  3)Goto VKM3/VKM1 T.Code and then release what order that is blocked.
                  4) order will appear in the list.
                  5)Select that one.
                  6)Click on the green flag that appears on the left hand side.
                  7)Click on save.
                  8)click on back it will ask for "Leave list".
                  9)Click on yes.
                  10)It said that Sales orer has been released
Still what my problem is:
Problem: 1)So i'm trying to create deliver for Sales order but it shows an error
         2)"Sales order is blocked for delivery: Credit limits" Even it was released
Plz kindly help me what i do....

Problem while releasing Request

Hello All,
In one of our client's DEV Server, we are facing problem while releasing requests.
When I release a request it is not appearing in the PRD import Queue.
When I checked the TMS Alert Viewer, it is showing as" TP REPORTED ERROR"
And more over when I checked in the OS level,only the cofile is created not the data file.
Please suggest ..

Problem in releasing request

Hi
I am facing a problem while releasing transport oif copies. I have created a TC which contains a Workbench request. When I am releasing the request its not getting released. it gives message at bottom of the screen " tp successfully connected" and does not move further neither it gives any error.
If its a local request then its getting released immediately. I created a virtual system in TMS and connected to the system from where I am releasing the request. This virtual system is mentioned in target of the request. Transport tool and transport route check also not giving any error.
Any idea what could be the problem?

Problem with release statergy po

Dear Friends ,
I had maintained release statergy for PO . I had taken chraterstic "Order type" "Purchase group" "Order Value" . All configaration is fine and simulation also showing ok . But it is not triging . Is it any problem in release indicator seting . I had maitained in two level for 3types of currency . I had maintained charaterstic for for each currency type . I am unable to find the error.......what could be the cause .........

If you have maintained 3 chracteristics for 3 Currencies then The sytem will check if all the three currencies exits or not & then only the relase strategy will trigger.
better option is to maintain the Currency Key charcteristic with 3 Charcteristic values INR, USD, EUR.

Problem in release strategy in a plant PO. Strategy does not appear

Hi:
I have a problem with release strategy in plant PO. When we create a PO in this plant, we have no tab for release strategy, if I change the plant in PO for a different one I get this tab with all data.
I have checked OMGS, CL20N and everything seems to be in order. I think this is a problem in plant definition, but I really donu2019t know where I can look for. This plant is a copy of an existing one, and in this plant there is no problem.
Please, any idea?

you can test if one or more strategies can be found. (you should one find one, otherwise SAP is not able to determine which one should be used)
go to CL30N.
Enter your class and class type 032, hit enter
Enter values for the characteristics. and click button for a search in initial class.
I dont think it has something todo with plant customizing. Classification just takes the values that are in your PO and searches for a strategy which has to be in table T16FS.

Problem in Releasing 46B IdocSegment in 640 SAPECC5.0

Hi All,
I have one Idoc segment which was created by some developer in 2005. This segment showing release 46B in WE31.
Now SAP system is upgraded to ECC 5.0 and all the new created Idoc segments showing release 640 in WE31.
But problem is that i have to edit this old segment, so i am trying to release this segment, but WE31 is showing following error "EA259-Error while resetting release of segment". Also i can not delete/change this segment without release.
Please guide me how to release this older version Idoc Segment in ECC5.0 SAP.

Sorry ... I never face this issue but please try to debug the program when you cancel the release. The error is occured in program LEDIJF05 when perform CHANGE_CLOSE_SEGDEF.
Other alternative is to create the new version with reference to old version and release it.

I am trying to release the request which is targetting to one of the available system (say QAS)
When clicking the release button, I am getting the error message as below :

PROBLEM IN RELEASING TRANSPORT REQUEST THROUGH SE10

Dear all,
I am trying to release transport request of development server via. transaction se10.Now my problem is that the child(DEVELOPMENT/CORRECTION) is getting released while the parent request is not getting released.
I checked everything and its showing 'test call of transport control program ended with return code 0208.' I even checked overview of system,overview of connection type,over view of transport protocol and they are fine.my only doubt is after going to se10 when I click transport proposals its showing "WORK FLOW NOT ACTIVE' .
Is my problem is because of this. Please help its very urgent as due to this I am not even able to transport any request on production server.

of requests..first of all U be sure of TMS configuration
see whether it is consistent or not.then after Refresh
the system and then come to release of requests.
its true that we can transport through scc1 but first
check about STMS configuration and the way you set
that.

Problem in Releasing/Transporting Request from Cust & Development Client

I had made up a report and i trying to transport it into the PRD Server but the problem when i use Tcode SE09 and there i clicked on the su-request ID it got released and when i clicked on main request ID it has givne run time error. But again i execute the transaction code SE09 and tried to realease the main request ID ,it is not allowing me to do it as a Message displays :-
Task DEVK904185 has the status "Release started"
I dont know why it is happening ? I had relaesed a lot of request before but never faced a problem like that.
Please guide me how to solve this tranport problem..

The error which had came during the releasing of main request id was:-

What happened?
    Resource bottleneck
    The current program "SAPLSLOG" had to be terminated because
    a capacity limit has been reached.
I am currently at display mode of request in which there is a tab named object in which there are 2 lines present. These are:-
1. Comment Entry : Released ; Program ID : CORR(Comment Automatic) ; Object Id: RELE(Comment Entry: Released);
     Object Name: DEVK904186 20091223 115834 ABAPER
2. Program.Program ID : R3TR(OBJECT) ; Object Type : PROG ; Object Name: ZBDC_MM01_R1ZBDC_MM01_R1
The package which we use is ZABAP which is used to transport all the creations and modifications it to the PRD Server...
Is there any way of solving this issue......

I had made a purchase order and now i want to release in the tcode ME29N but the when i execute this tcode and fill the PO it gives the message that it cannot be released.
can any body provide me guideliens for it to solve this problem.

First Go to ME23N Purchase ORder Display and In Header tab Check Whether Release Strategy tab is there.
If its there Check whether all the Charecteristics values you defined are meeting the Release strategy.
Then go to ME29N and Put tick mark on Set Release Option and Try again.

Problem with released transports

Hi All,
We have made changes to the existing query ( added two free charcteristics ) and collected it in a transport request.The query elements ( the free characteristics which have been added ) have both modified and active version in RSZELTDIR table.After releasing the request successfully into qualiy the changes are not getting reflected.The query elements are present only in the modified version but not active version.
We have one more similar issue.When we create a new query, include new query elements in the query and transport it to quality no entry is created for the query elements in the table RSZDELTDIR.
Could someone help me out in figuring out the problem?

hi,
Generally we face this error when the objects are not collected properly
check whether the query elements are collected into transport request or they are in temporary request/Package($TMP)
in your case i think they might have struck in temp request if it is so collect the query again in transport connection tab of RSA1 and check for the transport requests/package of the query elements
If they are in Temp right click on it and select change package and collect it again

so check whether the number range is internal or external.
also check if already if any document is posted with same number in same year.
after that also check
was the number range copied from previous year and that copy may be some problem....

No need ,just cancel the segment release and then add ur fields....also while attaching the segment to ur basic type,u have to first cancel the release of basic type and then add the segment and then release...Let me know if u face aby other problem
