Problem in restarting the services in Hyperion 11.1.1.3

Hi All,
We are unable to restart the Hyperion Integration services in 11.1.1.3 version after the configuration. Also we are unable to find the exact log file which shows the error. Kindly guide us whether any specifis log file has to be seen or the cause for the same.
The error shown while restarting the integration servives is
System cant start Hyperion Integration Services on the local computer. For more info review the System Event log
If this is a non microsoft service, contact service vendor and refer to service specific error code 0

I have logged to Weblogic server and checked, the foundation service is not started.
We dont have the backup of installation folder.
I manually edited the user name and password and started the services, but no luck.
Do any one idea about processBootProperties.cmd, shall i trigger it to get the new boot.properties.

Facing an error while restarting the services : Process Manager is not initialized.

while setting up the MDM environment I somehow messed up all the database connections.
Now im unable to start or stop the services properly.
Below is the error shown in the event viewer log for process MDM Ntier Process manager :

I suspect this is because incorrect password for Engine login MDM_SYSTEM or incorrect configuration file (config.xml), However i may be wrong.

As far as the "Process Manager is not initialized" error is concerned, we got the same error recently.
What we did was restart the DRM services on the server - The N-Tier Client and the Web-Publisher.
However, after doing it - we still got the error or DRM would not respond. On looking through it again, we saw that the Task Manager on the Server did not kill the DRM processes and so we did it manually. Then we restarted the services and it worked fine this time. See if this works for you - first kill all the services on the client sides and then on the server side, check for the client and server side process task manager and then restart the service. This worked for us, hopefully it works for you too.

When Essbase.sec file got corrupted services will fail frequently.
If you have back up of essbase.sec then replace it and restart the services or you need to create the essbase.sec file from starting.

When to restart the services OC4J_BI_FORMS & HTTP_SERVER

During the deployment of our application on the 10G application server, we generally make entries in the following files:
1) Default. 2) fmrweb.res 3) forms90 4) formsweb and 5) registry files.
but i am not sure changes into which files needs me to restart the
1)OC4J_BI_FORMS
2) HTTP_SERVER.
as of now i am just restarting these services whenever i make any changes in formsweb file.

As I only can see that you made changes to Forms files, then you only need to restart the OC4J_BI_FORMS for the files mentioned:
opmnctl restartproc ias-component=OC4J_BI_FORMSHowever, most changes in formsweb.cfg doesn´t need a restart.

SCOM services password required to retype everytime restart the services

Hi,
Everytime i restart the server center configuration service and system center data access service. It will failed to restart and prompt out password error message.
I need to retype the same password and hit Apply then it will prompted with a dialog box that says the account was granted 'log on as a service' rights then only i can start the services normally.
Both of the services are using domain ID.

That isn't normal, Check that services account right and if you apply any group policy on scom server.

Facing problem in canceling the service entry sheet

Everytime i am trying to cancel the service entry sheet following errormessage is being displayed " Error posting acceptance of Entry Sheet 1000009476 Choose (1) Eror Log (2) Save w/o acceptance (3) Exit without saving.
and when i am choosing error log its showing the following message
" RC = 3 F5 808 Field WBS element. is a required field for G/L Account 1000 400200"

it is due to the WBS and G/L settings,
just check with your FI concern about the G/L mapping for the account assinment,
check in OBYC settings for key VBR,
whether the G/L is mapped or not,

Is there a way to monitor a services and restart the services?

i hope i am posting in the right forum. Basically i am running Filemaker Server and i wanted to monitor the FM Services demon that run on the background but also i wanted to set up script that if the FM Service Demon goes down to restarted it. I am running Mac os X Server 10.4.6 on Xserver G5.

I haven't really done anything with it, but in OS X Server 10.4, launchd handles starting/restarting daemons that it is watching. If I understand it correctly, as long as launchd starts a process, it will be watched.
If you look at page 39 of the Command Line manual (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/CommandLinev10.4.pdf), there is a bit of information there. Also, http://www.afp548.com has some really good info on launchd, if I recall. You can probably figure out if FileMaker Server is started by launchd or, if not, how to get launchd to handle it.
Aside from that, I just started looking into monit (http://www.tildeslash.com/monit/) to see if it would work for me, which seems like it can do sort of the same thing, perhaps with more notification and reporting.

Problem while publishing the service

I have installed the SAP netweaver Trail sP1 Preview JAVA EE server.
I have also installed the Preview _Dev Studio.
The Application server is up and running fine

I followed the
"Web Services Testing and SAP NetWeaver Application Server, Java EE 5 Edition"
arcticle written by Mamoon Yunus.
I could create the web service as mentioned in the document.
But when i try to publich it it fails it gives aerror message "Publishing failed".
One thing which i noticed is the Webservice is try to published on http://<hostname>:50000/ and thats the reason i think the publishing fails.
How can i chage the port number form 50000 to 50100.
What ahsould be steps followed form developer studio

Thanks for the help.
I could test the webservcie with the SOAPSonar tool and it worked fine.
Only one thing i would like to address
is that the p;ublishing of the webservice on the SAP server was very slow.
For almost 3 hours the dialog was showing "publishing.......".
Then finally i cancelled it and i got a message that service was deployed sucessfully.
I had the windows 2003 server m/c with 1GB RAM on whihc both the SAP server and netweaver studio was running.
Can this be the problem of slow publishing

How to start/ restart the service in visual admin of SAP WAS 6.4?

I have installed the sneak preview version of SAP NetWeaver WAS 6.4 for default Database MaxDB. While developing a simple application to manage simple database table citymaster with 2 columns in jsp I am getting error as
Exception e com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions.NameNotFoundException: Path to object does not exist at : java.comp.
Looking at visual admin tool for WAS 6.4 all the entries are in color blue but the last entry for 'DATASOURCE' is in RED color where 'java.comp/env/JDBC/DATASOURCE' is the jndi reference created for default DataSource.
Can any one help me that why the last entry is in RED and it that say that some error has occured or that entry is not started then how to start that?

I have checked the Visual Administrator's JNDI Registry service entry in the ejbContexts node but there is no entry for the project which I have created.
It get deployed while I right click on the project's ear file and click on "Deploy on J2EE Engine". But same as before while checking in Browserthe site gives the same error...

LWE - Problems to see the service working to the users

Im trying to implement LWE on ESS1.0, EP7, ERP2005 ECC6.0.

I released all the objects, after I went to GP Design View and went to see the instantiation id (LWE Events in ESS). This is different from the backend but I have a problem:
When I change the Resource ID in the backend to be the same like in the portal, the process to the user disappear, If I dont change the resource ID I get the error Cannot retrieve process template: No active version of the given development object exists
In the default roles I inserted the user in the Overseer and my user on the Administrator
If I test directly in the Design View the process work properly.
Im missing something!!
Can anyone help me?

Since a week my MacBook Pro 15 inches bought on december 2014 has trouble to restart.
10 minutes ago, it didn't want to restart. I pressed the button for 10 seconds then it restarted with a message "send the report" .
I kept a copy of the report. Should I send it to you?
Should I take an appointment in an apple store?
