Problem in routing

Hi,
while creating routing, the following ticket occured.
"Activity type 100000 not set up for cost center 1000 31301".
Pls note,
1)we have created secondary cost element & assigned to activity type 100000.
2) in work centre, cost center 31301 & activity type 100000 is assigned.
could you pls tell me the solution for this.

Please check in transaction KP26 if this activity type assigned is valid for the current period & also check the values entered for the activity type 10000 for the respective cost center.

  • Problems with router pc and mac

    I have installed a wifi router in a pc, coaxial cable plus ethernet. Recently I bought a McBook and I have some problems with internet conexions. I can run explorer in pc or in mac but I can use the explorer with the two machines at the same time. I can work with the mac restarting the router and doing the airport configuration, then internet don´t work in the pc; if I want work with the pc I do the same operation: restart the router and detect configuration with pc.
    Anybody know what is the problem and posible solutions?

  • Problem of routing between inside and outside on ASA5505

    I have a ASA5505 with mostly factory default configuration. Its license allows only two vlan interfaces (vlan 1 and vlan 2). The default config has interface vlan 1 as inside (security level 100), and interface vlan 2 as outside (security level 0 and using DHCP).
    I only changed interface vlan 1 to IP 10.10.10.1/24. After I plugged in a few hosts to vlan 1 ports and connect port Ethernet0/0 (default in vlan 2) to a live network, here are a couple of issues I found:
    a) One host I plugged in is a PC, and another host is a WAAS WAE device. Both are in vlan 1 ports. I hard coded their IP to 10.10.10.250 and 10.10.10.101, /24 subnet mask, and gateway of 10.10.10.1. I can ping from the PC to WAE but not from WAE to the PC, although the WAE has 10.10.10.250 in its ARP table. They are in the same vlan and same subnet, how could it be? Here are the ping and WAE ARP table.

    I should have made the config easier to read. So here is what's on the ASA and the problems I have. The ASA only allows two VLAN interfaces configured (default to Int VLAN 1 - nameif inside, and Int VLAN 2 - nameif outside)
    port 0: in VLAN 2 (outside). DHCP configured. VLAN 2 pulled IP in 172.26.18.0/24, default gateway 172.26.18.1
    port 1-7: in VLAN 1 (inside). VLAN 1 IP is 10.10.10.1. I set all devices IP in VLAN 1 to 10.10.10.0/24, default gateway 10.10.10.1
    I have one PC in port 1 and one WAE device in port 2. PC IP set to 10.10.10.250 and WAE set to 10.10.10.101. PC can ping WAE but WAE can't ping PC. Both can ping default gateway.
    If I can't ping from inside interface to outside interface on ASA, how can I verify inside hosts can get to outside addresses and vise versa? I looked at ASA docs, but didn't find out how to set the routing between inside and outside. They are both connected interfaces, should they route between each other already?

  • Problem With router related to mIRC?

    Hi Everyone,
                        I am having problem with my router (model = WRT54G2 and version = 1) related to mirc, the problem is that whenever i recieve or try to send someone a code something like this I'm a QUEER?DCC SEND "gay???g?" 0 0 0 i get dc. First i thought that it's some problem with mIRc so i went into their help community and asked them but one of their guys said that it's not mIRC's problem it's some problem with my router and he gaved me two solutions:
    There are really only 2 real solutions:
    1. get another router or update your router's fimware
    2. (if the network supports it) connect with SSL to the IRC server. This encrypts text between the server and mIRC and your router will be unable to read the contents of the packets coming from the IRC server
    i tried the 2nd one and it worked i dont get dc anymore but the problem is that only 5-6 servers on mirc support ssl so it cant be possible and as far as the first option is concerned i tried to upgrade my firm but it didn't helped me the problem is still there so if you guys can find me a way i will be really thankful to ya cos i dont wanna buy a new router now....Thanks.

    well i cant go for SSL cos the servers on mIRC which are supporting SSL are a bit lame , i want this problem to be fixed and as far as resetting is concerned why to reset after firmware upgrade? do we have to do it?

  • IChat problem - is router the problem and can I do anything to solve it?

    I am in Ireland at the moment visiting my family. We all have Macs - IBook G4, MacBook and mine is MacBook (new this August). I can use iChat (video etc) with my family back in the U.S. and with my brother-in-law who lives in Ireland. The problem is with a iBookG4, which my sister has. She has a Netopia router with Eircom (on DSL). We've been able to video conference with each other in the same house, but neither of us can do a video conference with anyone else, so we think that the problem is with the router. It is "Type 0X21" and has 12 VDC, 800mA - this is written on the backside of it. Not sure if that means anything, but I thought I would include it, just in case. Is there anything I can do via either computer to access the firewall(s) in the router that I could change? Or any other suggestions? I have already set the Quicktime speeds etc. like suggested in other forums. And as I can iChat very successfully from my brother-in-law's house, I guess the problem does not lie within my computer.

    I was able to solve the problem. I contacted Eircom and the agent told me to set my firewall at "low" - and that helped for a while. I was able to video conference from my computer and my sister's. Then they both stopped working again. My husband did some research (not sure where) but he gave me some port numbers to add and that seemed to do the trick. Once in a while I cannot make a connection, but I think that is due to traffic on the DSL.
    Just in case this might help some other Irish iChatter with Eircom and Netopia
    here is what my husband found for me
    Apple Menu ->System Preferences ->,from View Menu ->Sharing ->Firewall tab -> New ->Port ->Other ->Port Number (Range or Series Field) type in:
    5060, 5190, 5297, 5298, 5678
    In the Description Field type in: iChat AV.
    Click OK.

  • Problems configuring router after hard reset

    I'll start with my 'vitals' ---
    * WRK54G Wireless Router
    * Cable internet
    * Desktop computer is wired to the router
    * Roku media player - wireless connection (will play my mp3s off of the computer or listen to internet radio stations)
    * Tivo wirelessly connected
    This morning, I tried to play some music off of my computer on the Roku media player. It would not communicate with the computer, but it would find the internet stations. After some trial and error, I tried to make the Tivo connect and it also failed to find the computer. The computer itself also could not find the internet, but the Roku was streaming music from the 'net fine. I exhausted my limited networking knowledge and decided it was time to bite the bullet and do a full restart on the router.
    I turned off the computer and the router. The modem has a battery backup so I reset it and while it was booting back up, I plugged the computer into the modem. Once the computer started, the internet was up on the computer and felt encouraged. I found and ran the install disk that came with the router and followed it step by step. After getting a few more errors, I got the setup program to find the internet through the router and I could proceed to the next step. When I got to setting my time zone, an error came up that the modem could not be configured and I should hold the reset button again for 10 seconds. I felt discouraged again. I reset it, and nothing. Tried again nothing. It will not get through the guided set up, but the internet is apparently working.
    I thought I would just get into the web-based set up page. I can log in with the default password and get to all of the screens, but whenever I try to save changes (whether I made any or not) the password box comes back up and the default password (or any password I tried to change it to) will make it go away.
    So basically, my problems are: 1) the guided setup will not finish 2) the web-based setup will not let me make any changes because it does not recognize any password.

    PS -- after I post this, I am going to reset the computer again and unplug the internet from the router just to see if I can get the web-based setup to work. I'll post the results, one way or another.

    I, and others in this forum, have had problems saving Linksys router settings too.  I logged into my router fine, but couldn't save the settings without a password screen coming up.  No password is accepted.  I contacted Linksys Help and received no solution.  I looked on this forum and saw mentioned that the problem may be with Norton Internet Security (NIS).  One person said they just temporarily disabled NIS and then they were able to save their router settings before reenabling NIS again.  I tried that, ended up turning off every setting in my NIS, rebooting with them off, etc, but it didn't help with the ability to save my router settings.  I have NIS 2007 and the NIS Add-On pack (needed because for some reason Norton took away features from previous versions and after people complained they made them available again with the add-on pack).  I planned to remove all of NIS (after I made notes of my modifications), and started by removing the NIS Add-On pack first.  After a reboot I tried to save my router settings and it worked!  Phew.  I got them all set and tested, then I installed the NIS Add-On pack again and all is well.  When I saw people had made comments on this forum about this problem for 8 months at least I was disappointed that Linksys Help hadn't already been aware of the problem and able to give the solution.

  • Reoccuring Problem with Router

    Every once in a while, my router will disconnect for no reason. When I try to reconnect, Windows says it can not connect, and when I diagnose the problem, it says the connection was cancelled. I'm using Windows Vista Home Edition, and my router Model # is WRT54GS.

    Upgrade the firmware of your Router to the latest firmware version. This procedure often resolve router issues. You may need to download the latest firmware version at www.linksys.com. Be sure that you will be able to download the exact firmware for your router.
    After the successful firmware upgrade, make sure that you will be able to "reset" the router to its' default settings. You can press and hold the Reset button at the back of the router for 10 seconds while it is turned On. Do a powercycle (Unplug and Re-plug the power of the device) after the reset.

  • Ipad Air WIFI problem with router

    I keep losing my WIFI when downloading apps or on too long.  From what I've been reading, it's a router problem.  People have suggested changing my router settings, but I don't know to what.  I have a D-Link DIR-615 draft 802.11N router that I've had for 4 years.  On the box it says it performs at 802.11g.  My other option is to buy a new router.  Will my Ipad work with all new routers, or will there still be a different setting issue?  Any suggestions on what to buy besides an Apple Airport?  From what I've read, it will be hard to set up with my current modem and PC.  Thanks in advance for all your help.

    I ended up buying a Netgear N600 model #DGND3700 and it solved my problem.  I have AT&T DSL and this is a modem/router combo (my modem was also old).  It was very easy to install.  When I first tried my Ipad again, it didn't work, so I tapped on general, reset, reset network settings and it worked just fine.  I hope this will help anyone else having trouble with WIFI.

  • Two problems with router

    ok so I have a three story house and the modem is downstairs on the second floor then right there I have a Linksys WRT300N router and then that has four ports in the back for hardwire cables and I had comcamst (my isp) come and run a cable up to the third floor for my gaming pc because the wireless wasnt very good because I have thick walls. This worked great and then I got my ps3. I tried using wireless and it was slow so i now switch the cable between the two depending on what im using. I want to hardwire both of them so how would i do this? The problem I am having may have to do with the router but not sure. I have COD4 for PC and I always had problems with punkbuster and the servers kicking me. Now I have MW2 for the PS3 and I go to log on to online play but it just says "connecting to matchmaking server..." The servers are back online from what I hear, they came on this morning and plus this is not the same message people were getting for people who couldnt connect because of the server being taken down. If someone could help me hardwire both my PC and PS3 with my set up and help me with online issues I would be very happy thanks!

    The cable you are using from the router to upstairs...Instead of that cable,Connect a switch to the router and connect your both the PS3 to the switch...it will work fine.

  • Problems after router change

    I have just changed my wireless router and am having problems connecting with iChat video. I have tested it with Apple testers on my old router (802.11g/b) and it works perfectly but it will not connect with my new one (802.11n) although it does work OK from one of my computers to the other - perhaps a local network issue? The message I get is that I have been disconnected because no data has been received in the last 10 seconds. The routers are the same make (Netgear) and I have populated each of them with much the same data regarding Firewall rules etc. Any help would be appreciated. I could just go back to the old one but I'm hoping for better speeds and range from the new one so would like to get it working.

    The DG834G Netgear that I had would not work without the DOS being Off and the Pings being allowed.
    Do you still have the Port Forwarding setting Enabled ?
    I am curious about the VPN.
    Some VPNs are set up with an Internet connection as part of the process.
    It sounds like this one is not. iChat cannot resolve two connections to the Internet (Wifi and Ethernet at the same time for instance)
    The No Data for 10 Secs message means you were connected (even if you did not see any Video or hear any Audio).
    The message means that iChat did not end the chat and that an external event did, such as pulling an Ethernet cable, router failure, turning off the Mac's Airport card.
    DOS work on a threshold basis and if it receives "Too much Data, Too Quickly" it cuts the port that this is happening on to "Protect" the whole connection.
    This threshold cannot be changed and tends to be lower than iChat can Stream video over modern connection speeds.
    I would try two things separately.
    The SIP ALG is something I did not have on my Netgear.
    iChat Uses SIP so I would try it with that ON.
    Also try setting iChat menu > Preferences > Video Section > Bandwidth Limit to 500kbps
    iChat 5 Can "See" your whole Internet Connection speed. (iChat 4 and Earlier was limited to a max of 1.5Mbps set in System Preferences > Quicktime > Streaming - a setting that does not exist in Snow Leopard)
    It could be that the new router allows faster throughput and that you have moved to iChat 5 meaning you are bumping into the DOS threshold.
    Of course the issue could be at the other end. The log is not that specific about which end "Cut" the connection.

  • Very strange problems withWRT54gl router

    I have a wrt54gl v1.1 with a wusb54g wireless adapter. Both computers are running windows XP.  I have a cable connection with Comcast. The cable modem is set up through my computer. I've had both since Oct. 2006.  Just in the last 2 months have these problems occurred, and gotten worse.
    Now to explain the problems.
    First the internet connection will slow down, then drop out completely. The last 2 days it just drops out, no warning. Before just resetting the router would work for awhile. Now it needs to be reset multiple times a day. No telling how long the connection will last, 5 minutes, an hour, etc.  But the strange thing is, I have utorrent running constantly and that connection still worked, just couldn't browse the web.  The past 2 days that hasn't been the case though.  Utorrent will drop out too.
    Second, my settings for the router were getting reset, even before physically reseting the router. I set up utorrent in port forward and triggering. Also set up a static IP. Changed passwords, even my time zone gets reset. At least once a day I have to set it all up again.  Its the same as above as far as being unpredictable.
    I understand resetting the router changes the settings back to default, but these get changed before I physically reset.
    Any help is greatly appreciated and any more info that will help I'll gladly let you know.

    Peer-to-peer (P2P) programs, like utorrent, are known causes for router slow downs and disconnections.  As a test, stop using utorrent, then reset router to factory defaults, then setup router again from scratch.  Do not use utorrent for a week.  See if your problems resolve.  Also, to keep your neighbors from running P2P on your router, secure your wireless network.
    You said your router settings were changing.  Are you running an unsecured wireless network?  Is your router password still "admin".  If so, perhaps your neighbor is changing your settings.

  • Problem leaking route from VRF to global table on CSR 1000V

    So I have a problem with VRF's on a CSR 1000V, specifically exporting a connected subnet from a VRF into the global routing table.
    My config, very abbreviated, is as follows:
    Router:
    GE1: 10.0.0.1/31 VRF TEST
    GE2: 172.30.20.1/24 (No VRF, BGP neighbor to 172.30.20.2, receiving 0.0.0.0/0 (default route))
    Now sh ip route displays:
    0.0.0.0/0 (BGP)
    172.30.20.1/24 (Connected)
    sh ip route vrf TEST displays:
    0.0.0.0/0 (BGP)
    10.0.0.1/31 connected
    My VRF config is as follows:
    ip vrf TEST

    Now my import command works perfectly (0.0.0.0/0 is imported from BGP into the VRF's routing table), however my export command does not function - seemingly at all.
    Even though my prefix list is an exact match, I do not see 10.0.0.1/31 appearing in the global routing table, or the BGP table at all (show ip bgp 10.0.0.1 shows only the 0.0.0.0/0 default route)
    Any thoughts on what is going on here? Am I misunderstanding the export command for VRF's? I was under the impression this will export directly to the BGP table, and then be imported to the global routing table if applicable?
    Any thoughts/input would be appreciated!

    I must have misunderstood somewhere  I was assuming you had no vrf bgp between GE1-2 , and just vrf on subnet 10.0.0.0/x which needed to be advertised in the global routing table hence my last post suggested you redistribute into bgp,
    So assuming you are accepting a default route from GE2 it went like this

  • Problems with router connecting to internet

    Several weeks ago, there was a small blackout for a couple hours. When the power came back on, I could not get an internet connection. After disconnecting the router, and connecting the modem directly to the computer, I have been able to get online. However, I still cannot seem to get the router to work.
    I have followed the steps to set up a PPPoE connection several times. The correct display lights come on on both the modem and the router. Also, the router's status page says it is connected and the computer's network connections says that the internet gateway is connected.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    When you have a storm or power failure, disconnect all power cords and cables between the wall and the modem and you will not have any problems with your network

  • IChatAV possibly problems with router, any ideas please?

    I have spent a few days trying to work out what is wrong with my network/computer setup that prevents video chat working to computers that are not on my LAN. I have read just about every forum and post that looks meaningful but am struggling now.
    Once upon a time it all just worked (with tiger). Now that I have a use for it..... obviously it doesn't.
    My set-up is a little complicated but I can't believe its too unusual. I have a couple of macs and PCs running leopard with all the latest patches (although ichat had stopped working before the leopard upgrade). The LAN uses 192.168.1.0/24. I have a linux based router (openwrt-white russian 0.9 WRT-54GS) which runs amongst other things an asterisk SIP server (on port 5060). But while the versions of software have changed (mainly to try and get iChat working), it is still the same set up that used to work. There is an airport extreme on the LAN as well but that is in bridge mode and used as a 802.11n AP and printer server. My DSL modem is a Dlink DSL-302G which is running in half bridge mode which terminates the ASP's PPP session and presents IP packets addressed to the router which is provided with the PPP supplied IP address using DHCP. The router therefore is effectively connected directly to the ISP, there is no NAT in the DSL modem, only the router.
    My ISP now offers a SIP based VoIP service which I use via asterisk on the router. The asterisk server also uses several other SIP based providers for both incoming and outgoing calls but these have been there for a long time and still work fine, so the ISP isn't messing with SIP messages.
    As I have said this set-up once all worked fine with iChat over the internet. Now all that works is text.
    iChat does work between machines on my LAN where I can do text, audio, video and screen sharing. I assume that this means that ports to external co-ordinating entities are working through the router. Non of the LAN machines have a firewall configured on them.
    When I try and set up an AV chat with a remote machine I get to the "Starting video chat with..." and then after 10-15 seconds I get an error:-
    Disconnected from video chat because:
    Did not receive a response from xxxx xxxx
    When I try and set up an AV chat with appleu3test01 I get a different message saying "appleu3test01 cancelled the connection which I am assuming is just something timing out quicker on the bot and causing it to cancel the call before the setup protocol times out.
    I have messed with the router adding and removing different uPNP agents but as far as I can tell they are working. I can see that UDP port 16402 has been set up for forwarding to the my imac.
    When calling a friend, I have run network traces on the mac and both LAN and WAN ports of the router. I don't have any information on the AIM protocols to see if the problem is in there. I can provide the traces if this is useful. I do notice that SIP messages are being sent to my friends internet IP address but that they only contain my machine's LAN IP address ...

    Is this correct? UDP port 16402 has been upnp configured in the router to DNAT to 192.168.1.4:16402 which is the machine I made the call on. I do not receive a response to this message or any other SIP messages from my friend. I can see a upnp conversation between the mac and the router which asks for an external ip address which is provided. I can also see this external IP address being used in some AIM message fields.
    Any ideas gratefully received and I can send significantly more information if required.

    Ralph, Thanks for replying. There where no received SIP messages at all just the INVITE being sent but I have made some more progress. The mini does indeed just work. I can do everything that you are supposed to do to other ichat users on the internet. Very nice.
    The imac is still playing up but I have got further. I had peerguardian2 installed which unknown to me doesn't need to be running to prevent you for accessing 'barred' IP addresses. snatmap.mac.com is barred in the lists! I discovered this when I saw one of your other posts showed how to turn on terminal logging for ichat. Now that I have turned off peerguardian2 (using the disable filters option) I can make calls to the testbot and see the adverts. I have even done a video conference with the two testbots. I will just uninstall peerguardian2.
    However, I can not get a AV chat working to a real user....
    In response to your suggestions:-
    I have tried all the options for quicktime streaming but will try 1.5Mb/s again.
    The ichat bandwidth limit is set to "none". I am in New Zealand and I have standard ADSL (not ADSL2+) 7.6M down 512K up. The mini config is also set to none.
    Internet sharing is off.
    I have had parallels on the machine but the two interfaces that it installed "Parallels Host-Guest" and "Parallels NAT" are configured 'off' and show as not connected. Is this enough? I will uninstall parallels and see if that helps since I don't use it. I also have VMware's thing installed but that doesn't seem to add any interfaces.
    I need to capture a full trace of the imac to other ichat user to see what is happening but will update when I have does your suggested changes or have a trace

  • LAN sharing problems w/router, AprtExp, and router

    We have DSL internet service. I recently replaced my router, and upgraded my computers to 10.5.2 (from 10.4.x).
    The router: D-link EBR-2310 (4 port wired router)
    Three computers:
    1] PowerBook - AirPort to APExp
    2] Mini - AirPort to APExp
    the Airport Express is connected in Bridge mode by Ethernet to the router. It also has a USB printer connected
    3] MacPro - Ethernet to router
    So:
    All three computers can interact normally with the WAN (browsing, iChat, FTP).
    At the LAN level, the PowerBook and Mini can both see the MacPro (in the Network browser)(all three computers have File Sharing On) and are able to access the printer.
    The problem: The MacPro doesn't see any of the other computers OR the printer.
    I am able to log into the MacPro from the PowerBook, but the MacPro can't see the PowerBook (or Mini) going the other way. I am also unable to access the printer from the MacPro.
    I hope I explained this clearly enough -- I'm stumped -- any suggestions? Perhaps something on the D-Link router?

    The router must have reset. If it's possible while doing this have any laptop wired to the router otherwise you will have to reconnect after changing the ssid and enabling sercurity.
    Open your browser and go to http://192.168.1.1 don't mind the username just enter admin for the password. Click on wireless, change the ssid and click save settings. Look for Wireless Security, enable wpa2 enter a your desired network key (8-63 alphanumeric characters). Click save settings and reconnect to your wireless network.
    Note: Use WPA2 if your wireless devices support it if not use WPA.
