Problem in SAPbobscom OBJECTS

Good Day Experts,
We've created an AddOn that automatically creates an JE on Incoming Payment. It works just fine in client side.
But a problem occured if we're to do a direct transaction ON the SERVER side.
Upon checking the application in debug mode the cause of the error is when the program tries to call for any SAPbobscom Object such as the oJournalEntries that we used for the AddOn,
The exception throws the following error:
Unable to Cast Com Object of type "SAPBobsCom.CompanyClass"to interface type "SAPBobsCom.ICompany". This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID u2018{3BA8DAED-5B33-4CE4-A4B8-B4308D86E524}u2019 failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)).
The clients we've tested using our AddOn has the following setup:
(NO ERROR ENCOUNTERED)
OS: Windows XP / Vista
MS SQL Server 2005
MS .Net Framework 2.0
SBO 2007 PL 41
And for the server's setup
(HAS ERROR ENCOUNTERED)
OS: Windows Server 2008
MS SQL Server 2005
MS .Net Framework 2.0
SBO 2007 PL 41

This problem mainly occurs if your system is of 64 bit....As petr said first of all compile your application as well as your Add-on both for x86....in your projects properties-->compile>Advanced Compile options->Change your target CPU from Any to x86 and then rebuild the project and make a new ard from this rebuilded project and change here also the target CPU to x86....
It may solve the problem....
If not then you have to register your SAPBobs.Com again on the Server and then make the ard again....for registering the SAPBobs.Com, C:--->Program Files ->SAP>SAP B1 DI API->Select the SAPBobs.Com dll from the folder---> select Open with option and Select Browse-->Windows->Select System 32 folder---->type regsvr32
It will register your dll...
And in the end you have to again recompile your project and then again make the new ard from this project

Memory leak problem while passing Object to stored procedure from C++ code

I am facing memory leak problem while passing object to oracle stored procedure from C++ code.Here I am writing brief description of the code :
1) created objects in oracle with the help of "create or replace type as objects"
2) generated C++ classes corresponding to oracle objects with the help of OTT utility.
3) Instantiating classes in C++ code and assigning values.
4) calling oracle stored procedure and setting object in statement with the help of setObject function.
5) deleted objects.

I have problem with embedded objects which contained embedded objects.
When I create an Object in the persistent memory and commit this object I get the following error:
ORA-22805: cannot insert NULL object into object tables or nested tables
In the constructor of my persisten object I create the embedded members in the transient memory:

m_lang = new AEnumLanguage_OraType();

}Or when I dereference a reference I get this error:

Problem with inherited Objects

I have a problem with inherited objects inside Flex using
wsdl as the source of the object. The AS-classes are generated
inside Flex Builder 3.

When I want to retreive an object of type Contact, it seems
that only a couple of entries are filled. While debugging the flex
XMLDecoder, I noticed something strange. It seems, like the decoder
is expecting the result xml data to be in alphabetical order:
birthday, firstname, lastname, etc. But since the object is
inherited, the data that is actually received contains elements
from the parent class: birthday, firstname, id, inserttimestamp,
The resulting object has just birthday and firstname filled,
which is somehow wrong. This seems to be a problem inside the
parser itself. What can I do?

I am having a problem with an extended class as well.
When I step through the code, everything is going fine and the decoder (mx.rpc.xml::XMLDecoder) sees that the class is an extension and wants to get the values for the superclass first. When it gets into getApplicableValues(), it's looking for the values to be in the order of the definition which would be ok if the values collection didn't include the values from the subclass as well! It goes through the whole definition and doesn't find anything for the superclass because the values aren't where it expects them. When it pops back up to the subclass and starts to decode those values, it finds them because the definition order and values order match.
Is this a known issue? Or, am I misunderstanding something?

Problem with shared objects synchoronization.

I encountered a small problem with shared objects.
I'm working on a program that creates chat rooms of a fixed
size of 30 users. When the 31th user comes, a new room is created.
The idea is that the client first connects to the first room
and checks if it's full by connecting to shared objects. If it is
full, connection is closed and process is reapeated on a new
instance of the application.
I use a function to connect to an instance, which takes as a
parameter a number (1 for instance room_1, 2 for room_2, etc). The
function itself creates the necessary Netconnection and
sharedObject objects.
If a room is full, Netconnections and sharedObjects are
closed and function is called again with another number.
I have no problem for connecting to the first room, but after
closing the first connection and connecting to the new room, there
seem to be some problems with the shared objects (especially,
OnSync doesn't seem to execute again after the connection to the
shared objects of the new instance).
I was wondering if you had any ideas what could cause this.
Is it the use of the same variable names for connecting at two
different shared objects?

I don't see any onStatus events in the code you posted above.
If you're defining the onstatus event outside the function, that's
the problem. When you define the shared object, you also need to
define it's onStatus event handler.
Also, you really should wait for the onStatus event of the
netConnection before you connect your sharedObjects. If you try to
connect the SO before the netConnection is established, the SO will
never connect.

Problem with activeX objects

but when i am trying the same code with XP its saying dll missing.
do these activeX depends on OS also..

I have a problem accessing an object which is in a VBox.
I made an example so you can see my problem. I am trying to
access pnlChat.
If you load the swf you won't see the Alert because there is
something wrong (and I don't know what)
If you try to remove the <mx:VBox> tags that wrap the
pnlChat Panel, it will work.
Why can't I access this object when it is in a VBox?

There may arise some smaller corruption states that may be cured by what you did, as you can see in the list. Sometimes, restarting thrice is needed.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Problem on animated objects (sva)

I created a transaction that generates simplemeter object as gif, it uses L1Speed current value to change needle position.
But always needle at same position.
Is there a problem about animated objects for MII 12.15?

Plz have a tracer before you map the CylTemp value to the animation object and check if you are getting different values when ever u r executing the transaction.
if you are getting different values the check if you have mapped the CylTemp value correctly to the Value field of the animation object.
the third area where u can check is, how are u testing the output, if you are pulling that image to a HTML page then kindly check for the cache problem because the browser has the tendency to keep the cache of a file which is frequently called which may keep on showing you the same image even it is updated in the back end.
plz let me know how are u storing the images and seeing the output.

Dynamic creating SAPBobsCOM objects using reflection

I'm writing a tool (C#) for SBO for exporting object (oItems, oBanks etc.) to XML files. And I have a problem how to dynamically create object by it's string description. I'm trying to create it using System.Reflection, but cant't find right way to create it.
It must be like that, but it doesn't work:

The object returned is COM object (not managed code) then we can't use .NET reflection directly for exploring its methods and attributes .. I think we should use C++ and IDispatch interface, but i don't know how do this yet.

represent the set of Chickens and Monkeys as sub-folders of their
parent Elephant object rather than listing all of the Chickens and
Monkeys as individual children of the Elephant. I have been trying
to solve this problem by creating new children objects on the fly
from within the getChildren function of an ITreeDataDescriptor
implementer class, which I've attached to this message.
The problem I encountered is that the Chicken and Monkey
branch/folder objects that I create on the fly and add to the tree
will not open, though they appear in the tree as expected. Is
creating objects and adding them to a tree in the getChildren
function bad? I hope there's something obvious that I'm doing
wrong.

Problem with ole objects

Hello to all,
I'm having a problem concerning the use of ole objects.
I'm using Oracle Forms 6.0.8.16.0 with Oracle Reports 6.0.8.1.7.1 on Windows 2000 with Oracle Database Server 9.2.0.4.0.
I have several forms with base tables including blob columns which are used to store ole objects. These could be MS-Word-documents or Bitmaps of signatures. When inserting these objects via "create new" and choose the object type, Word or Paintbrush opens and i can create my objects. After committing these changes to the database, these objects are printed in a report correctly. When inserting these objects via "create from file" or using a push button which is executing "initialize_container" with a file and committing to the database, i get an error while executing the report "REP-0082: Error executing SCA utility".
I want to use a push button to store my ole objects because the "create" dialogue is confusing our users because there is a huge list of all possible ole objects on the client.
Can anybody help with this ?
And to the Oracle Team, please don't suggest simply to upgrade to a higher patch level without looking at the problem. First, I tested all patch levels up to 16, with no change. Second, it's not easy to upgrade for an 24x7 application with hundreds of users in different countries with different ways of deployment.

Memory problem if OLE-object references to WMF files

I have a report with an OLE object containing WMFs.
The graphic files are variable and their name is loaded from the database during runtime (path + filename).
Running the report leads to 185 pages, each one containing a different WMF.
If I preview the report in CR, everything looks fine.
If I print the report, the OLE object / graphic is left empty....
If I export the report to PDF (as an example) I get the error message 'memory full'. Reducing the data set to ~50, the PDF is created. But the pictures get resized (much bigger) and only parts are visible.
The machine I'm using doesn't have any memory problems.
The WM files are only 3 to 12 KB each.
If I convert the WMFs to JPG and use these within the report it works...
Problem with this: a loss of quality (it is necessary to stretch the pictures to certain size)

I'm using CR 2008 SP 3 on Windows 2003 Server

Format the pictures outside of CR for best results.

Interlace problems with moving objects using iDVD

I had an MP4 file (created by a 3rd party) from a Hi-8 analog tape which has some interlace artifacts on moving images (left image of boy) but not too bad. When the MP4 files was imported into iMovie 11 the interlace artifacts smoothed somewhat - that was OK (right image of boy). The camera was still and the boy was moving. Vertical lines on stationary objects are OK in all images. These are screen captures from the Mac of the mp4 played through quicktime and the same file imported into iMovie 11 and played. I paused both to take the screen capture.
The completed project in iMovie 11 looked OK when previewed prior to rendering. These are 20 year old videos so my expections were being met.   I rendered the project with iDVD to the hard drive first and then to a DVD with the same poor imaging result on the moving object. I am using a new Macbook Pro I bought in early January which came with iMovie 11 and iDVD Ver 7.1.2 (1158). Running Mac OS X 10.7.3 Macbook Pro 2.3 Ghz Corei7   8GB 1333 Mhz DDR3.
I couldn't screen capture from the MAC DVD player screen to illustrate the poor result (got a checkerboard screen) so I took a photo of the screen and imported that (below). The moving boy on the left is from an iMovie 11 screen capture, the image on the right is the moving boy from the rendered DVD I paused on the Mac (and took a pic of).
Below a close up of the poorly rendered moving boy viewed on the resultant DVD. This translates into a horrible rendition of any quick moving object. It happens with any moving image - i.e. a pan across a room with straight vertical lines like edges of a wall will show as serrated and poorly rendered edge. I used a trial version of the Daniusoft DVD creator with the same result! I am at a loss on how to resolve this issue. Any thoughts out there??
I had previously used Pinnacle Studios on my old XP PC which worked great on other tape's Mpeg files and created great DVD's (never had an interlace problem) ... until my computer died ..... so I figured Apple and associated software should be at least equal if not a superior product.   Now I'm not too sure!
